Using the effective gravitational field equations in the warped DGP brane-world scenario (Maeda et al. in Phys. Rev. D 68:024033, 2003), we study spherically symmetric vacuum (static black hole) solutions on the brane. Working with a conformally flat bulk, we have obtained an exact Schwarzschild–de Sitter black hole solution similar to the standard solution in the presence of a cosmological constant, which confirms the idea that an extra term in the effective vacuum field equations on the warped DGP brane can play the role of a positive cosmological constant.  相似文献

We reconsider the issue of cosmological dynamics in a DGP setup with a bulk scalar field. The ghost-free, normal branch of this DGP-inspired braneworld scenario has the potential to realize a self-consistent phantom-like behavior. The roles played by the bulk canonical scalar field on this phantom-like dynamics are explored. Within a dynamical system approach, the effective phantom nature of the scenario is investigated with details. This analysis shows that there is a stable, late-time de Sitter phase.  相似文献

We consider the cosmological dynamics of a tachyon field localized on the extended DGP braneworld scenario. We present a detailed analysis of the critical points in the phase space of the model, their stability and late-time cosmological viability of the solutions. We study the luminosity distance behavior of this ?EDGP model and compare it with ΛCDM model. Also we show that the EDGP solutions in the presence of tachyon field can explain late time acceleration of the universe.  相似文献

We consider cosmological dynamics of a canonical bulk scalar field, which is coupled non-minimally to 5-dimensional Ricci scalar in a DGP setup. We show that presence of this non-minimally coupled bulk scalar field affects the jump conditions of the original DGP model significantly. Within a superpotential approach, we perform some numerical analysis of the model parameter space and consider bulk-brane energy exchange in this setup. Also we show that the normal, ghost-free branch of the DGP solutions in this case has the potential to realize a self-consistent phantom-like behavior and therefore explains late time acceleration of the universe in a consistent way.  相似文献

A proposal to study the original and new agegraphic dark energy in DGP braneworld cosmology is presented in this work. To verify our model with the observational data, the model is constrained by a variety of independent measurements such as Hubble parameter, cosmic microwave background anisotropies, and baryon acoustic oscillation peaks. The best fitting procedure shows the effectiveness of agegraphic parameter n in distinguishing between the original and new agegraphic dark energy scenarios and subsequent cosmological findings. In particular, the result shows that in both scenarios, our universe enters an agegraphic dark energy dominated phase.  相似文献

Since the Randall-Sundrum 1999 papers, braneworlds have been a favourite playground to test string inspired cosmological models. The subject has developped into two main directions: elaborating more complex models in order to strenghten the connection with string theories, and trying to confront them with observations, in particular the Cosmic Microwave Background anisotropies. We review here the latter and see that, even in the simple, `paradigmatic', case of a single expanding brane in a 5D anti-de Sitter bulk, there is still a missing link between the `view from the brane' and the `view from the bulk' which prevents definite predictions. Modern concepts of the universe support the assumed existence of a nongravitational source, known as dark energy, for which ε + 3 P < 0 (where ε is the energy density and P is the pressure). This ensures accelerated expansion of the universe. This paper examines a tensor-scalar variant of the theory of gravitation with a conformally coupled scalar field. Various cosmological models are examined and the possible evolutionary development of the universe with accelerated expansion is discussed. We investigate some aspects of the scalar-field dynamics on the brane that differ from the corresponding regimes in standard cosmology. We consider asymptotic solutions near singularity, inflation and rebound conditions, and some features of chaos in the model on the brane. We develop a method for constructing exact cosmological solutions in brane world cosmology. New classes of cosmological solutions on Randall–Sandrum brane are obtained. The superpotential and Hubble parameter are represented in quadratures. These solutions have inflationary phases under general assumptions and also describe an exit from the inflationary phase without a fine tuning of the parameters. Another class solutions can describe the current phase of accelerated expansion with or without possible exit from it.  相似文献

The problem of electromagnetic field interacting with viscous fluid without and with zero-mass scalar field has been studied. It has been shown that electromagnetic field cannot interact with viscous fluid for spherically-symmetric Robertson-Walker metric. Exact solutions corresponding to the problem of electromagnetic field interactions in presence of viscous fluid and zero-mass scalar field have been obtained subject to various physical conditions. It presents a scope for the study of imperfect fluid FRW models showing the existence of the electromagnetic field due to the presence of zero-mass scalar field.  相似文献

We have studied the evolution of cosmological parameters by considering exponential harmonic field with collisional matter. A comparison has been made with the behavior of these parameters in the presence of ordinary matter and the model \(\Lambda CDM\). We have also compared the evolution of these parameters with the ones obtained in the modified gravity f(R) and f(RT) theory case. The results are in line with those of the modified gravity so that the harmonic exponential field can be used to explain why the Universe has gone from the deceleration phase to the acceleration phase.  相似文献

In this paper some wormhole solutions have been presented on the brane which are distinct from the presently available wormhole solution. The matter on the brane is chosen as perfect fluid and all physical variables are functions of the radial co-ordinate r. The cosmological principle in its various versions states that: (i) the galaxy does not occupy a particular position, (ii) the Universe is homogeneous and isotropic. This statement does not agree with the recent astronomical observations in the range z lower than 0.05 which are in agreement with a cellular structure of the Universe. Here we present a local analysis of the inhomogeneity of the Universe. When z is greater than 0.05 our analysis cannot be applied because the astronomical sample of galaxies here processed is not complete. The two tools of the Poisson Voronoi Tessellation (PVT) and the luminosity function for galaxies allow building a new version of the local cosmological principle.  相似文献
