A comprehensive study is presented for empirical seismic vulnerability assessment of typical structural types, representative of the building stock of Southern Europe, based on a large set of damage statistics. The observational database was obtained from post-earthquake surveys carried out in the area struck by the September 7, 1999 Athens earthquake. After analysis of the collected observational data, a unified damage database has been created which comprises 180,945 damaged buildings from/after the near-field area of the earthquake. The damaged buildings are classified in specific structural types, according to the materials, seismic codes and construction techniques in Southern Europe. The seismic demand is described in terms of both the regional macroseismic intensity and the ratio αg/ao, where αg is the maximum peak ground acceleration (PGA) of the earthquake event and ao is the unique value PGA that characterizes each municipality shown on the Greek hazard map. The relative and cumulative frequencies of the different damage states for each structural type and each intensity level are computed in terms of damage ratio. Damage probability matrices (DPMs) and vulnerability curves are obtained for specific structural types. A comparison analysis is fulfilled between the produced and the existing vulnerability models.  相似文献

2018年9月8日10时31分29秒,云南省墨江县(23.28°N,101.53°E)发生M5.9地震。根据现场调查情况,详细阐述地震灾区房屋建筑结构特点、房屋建筑及生命线工程震害特征,给出房屋建筑震害矩阵,对其震害成因进行分析,并与省内近年相似震级的地震震害进行对比分析,结果表明:本次地震波及范围广、总体震害轻、无人员死亡、地质灾害轻。  相似文献

On 12 October 1992, an earthquake, magnitude mb = 5.9 and M s = 5.2, hit the City of Cairo, Egypt. It was this century's largest earthquake in northern Egypt with related destruction in the City of Cairo, the Nile Valley and the Nile Delta areas. Our source parameter determinations show that the 1992 earthquake had a normal faulting mechanism, seismic moment M o = 5.2 × 1017 Nm, centroid depth of 23 km and a source time function duration of 3 seconds. The mechanism is compared with those corresponding to two other events that occurred in the northern Red Sea. The similarity between the mechanisms as well as the spatial distribution of the geological faults around Cairo suggest seismic activity along the extension of the stress field of the Red Sea rift system to the area around the City of Cairo. This situation affects the level of seismic hazard in the Cairo area. The 1992 earthquake belongs to an unusual class of relatively small, M w > 6.0, yet destructive earthquakes. The damage caused by these events is usually attributed to their shallow focal depth, 5 km, and to amplification of seismic waves in the local soil beneath the damaged structures. However, the Cairo earthquake deviates from other events of this class since the focal depth was determined to be 23 km. We calculated synthetic accelerograms for the 1992 earthquake with the loose sediments observed in the Nile Valley, and show that this enhanced the amplitude of the acceleration by a factor of two. However, the determined accelerations, about 0.5 m s-2, cannot alone explain the relatively large amount of damaged structures. Hence, a major cause to the destruction is likely the poor state of construction of the Cairo buildings.  相似文献

近断层地震动对地表结构物造成严重的破坏,它具有明显的方向性和脉冲型特征. 在速度时程中含有大幅值、长周期的脉冲波,对结构响应影响很大. 为简化计算和分析的需要,在既有的等效速度脉冲模型的基础上,建议了较为合理等效速度脉冲模型. 在充分收集脉冲型近断层地震记录的基础上,对等效速度脉冲模型的脉冲周期、脉冲强度及卓越脉冲数等参数进行了研究,并与以往研究者的结果进行比较,以利于近断层区结构的抗震设计.   相似文献

地震对建筑结构的损伤轻则影响建筑完整性,重则导致建筑崩塌。近几年,地震损伤评估问题得到地震工程研究领域的高度重视,但对点支式玻璃建筑结构的损伤评估研究较少。为此,构建一种点支式玻璃建筑结构地震损伤评估模型。采用基于HHT变换的结构损伤部位识别方法判断地震中点支式玻璃建筑损伤部位,建立点支式玻璃建筑结构地震损伤评估多元联系数模型,评估点支式玻璃建筑损伤部位的损伤情况。结果表明,该评估模型对某地区点支式玻璃建筑结构地震损伤评估情况与实际结果一致,且该模型可控性较强,评估范围全面,评估效率明显优于其他评估模型,应用价值较高。  相似文献

四川长宁6.0级地震发生后,作者第一时间前往地震现场,获得第一手震害资料。基于“散、脆、偏、单”评估法,对当地建筑物震害特点和成灾机理进行深入剖析,并提出整治措施。实际震害显示,当前我国城乡建筑亟待解决的问题是“散”和“脆”;学校建筑和底商结构在此次地震中仍表现出诸多抗震不利问题,集中体现在因填充墙布置不合理导致的“偏”;高层建筑主体结构虽在地震后保存完好,但填充墙破坏较重,修缮费用较高。震害调查结果警醒行业人员需围绕实际震害特点精准发力,优化结构概念设计,全面提升抗震能力,推动韧性城乡建设。  相似文献

The 1994 Northridge earthquake occurred underneath a densely populated metropolitan area, and was recorded by over 200 strong motion stations in the metropolitan area and vicinity. This rare coincidence made it an ideal case to study, in statistical sense, the correlation of damage to structures with the level of strong shaking, in particular with respect to (1) instrumental characteristics of shaking and (2) the reported site intensity scale. In this paper, statistics for the incidence of red-tagged building in 1 × 1 km2 blocks in San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles is presented and analyzed, as function of the observed peak ground velocity or the local intensity of shaking. The ‘observed’ peak velocity is estimated from contour maps based on the recorded strong motion. The intensity of shaking is estimated from the published intensity map and from our modification of this map to make it more consistent with observed high damage to buildings in some localized areas. Finally, empirical scaling equations are derived which predict the average density of red-tagged buildings (per km2) as a function of peak ground velocity or site intensity of shaking. These scaling equations are specific to the region studied, and apply to Wooden Frame Construction, typical of post World War II period, which is the prevailing building type in the sample studied. These can be used to predict the density of red-tagged buildings per km2 in San Fernando Valley and in Los Angeles for a scenario earthquake or for an ensemble of earthquakes during specified exposure, within the framework of probabilistic seismic hazard analysis. Such predictions will be useful to government officials for emergency planning, to the insurance industry for realistic assessment of insured losses, and to structural engineers for assessment of the overall performance of this type of buildings.  相似文献

提出基于构件性能的混凝土高层建筑结构地震破坏抗毁能力评估方法,采用强度与延性法分析混凝土高层建筑构件强度和变形,以对强震作用下混凝土高层建筑结构性能实施准确描述。基于建筑结构性能以及多条地震波情况下高层建筑结构倒塌极限状态的分析规范,采用IDA方法设置建筑结构抗倒塌能力系数,并依据该系数获取基于构件性能的混凝土高层建筑结构地震破坏抗毁能力评估流程,实现建筑结构地震破坏抗毁能力的准确评估。实验结果说明,所提方法实现了混凝土高层建筑结构地震破坏抗毁能力的准确评估。  相似文献

利用文献[2]推荐的方法得到了不同地震组合情况下的等效地震影响系数,将其与传统的钢筋混凝土框架结构震害预测方法相结合,得到两次地震作用对建筑物所造成的损伤,进而得到了该类建筑物的群体震害预测结果。结果分析表明,接连两次地震对建筑物的累积破坏作用显著。最后以福建省泉州市规划区范围内的钢筋混凝土框架结构群体震害预测为例,证明了该方法具有简便实用的特点。  相似文献

砌体建筑群在地震中往往破坏严重损失巨大,合理评估地震作用对不同种类砌体结构造成破坏的风险变得至关重要。传统基于后验概率的地震危险性分析方法忽略了砌体建筑个体差异性的影响,未深入考虑多种震害因子的耦合作用。本文以华南地区砌体建筑群为例,开发了一种集成概率方法来对城市砌体结构的破坏风险进行建模,考虑建筑年代、层数、使用用途和墙厚四类震害因子的耦合影响,采用(Kolmogorov-Smirnov)K-S检验,在设定地震动参数下选取Gaussian分布、Log-Normal分布、Gumbel分布和Beta分布四种概率分布对该地区砌体建筑物的破坏状态概率分布参数进行拟合。通过均方根误差(Root Mean Square Error)RMSE进行拟合优度评价,最终建立基于Gaussian分布和Log-Normal分布的砌体建筑物破坏联合概率模型。最后,以华南地区三个城市典型砌体建筑物为例进行实例对比验证,将基于本文建立的建筑破坏概率模型推算出的砌体建筑群震害矩阵与基于单体结构分析得到的震害矩阵进行对比,与理论值最大偏差为0.033 3。研究表明:本文构建的集成概率方法能够获得更加合理的城市砌体建筑...  相似文献

本文提出了一种群体震害预测方法,根据已有建筑物震害预测结果或震害统计分析结果,按照影响建筑物抗震能力的主要因素,由普查资料统计出的建筑物各影响因素的建筑面积比例得出模拟震害矩阵与已知矩阵的贴近度,最后进行加权平均,建立具体预测对象群体建筑物的震害矩阵。  相似文献

多层砖房是最常用的结构形式之一,对其进行震害预测尤为重要,选择合适的影响因素是震害预测中最重要的环节之一。本文基于AdaBoost算法对多层砖房震害影响因素进行评估,给出影响因素重要度排序,并将结果与灰色关联分析法进行比较。研究发现结构合理性、地震峰值加速度、砖墙面积率和场地条件对多层砖房震害影响最大,因此在多层砖房震害预测中应优先考虑这4个因素,并在结构设计建造过程中予以足够重视。  相似文献

Building pounding damages observed in the February 2011 Christchurch earthquake are described in this paper. The extent and severity of pounding damage is presented based on a street survey of Christchurch's central business district. Six damage severity levels and two confidence levels are defined to classify the observed damage. Generally, pounding was observed to be a secondary effect. However, over 6% of the total surveyed buildings were observed to have significant or greater pounding damage. Examples of typical and exceptional pounding damage are identified and discussed. Extensive pounding damage was observed in low‐rise unreinforced masonry buildings that were constructed with no building separation. Modern buildings were also endangered by pounding when building separations were infilled with solid architectural flashings. The damage caused by these flashings was readily preventable. The observed pounding damage is compared to that observed in the September 2010 Darfield earthquake to explore if the damage could have been predicted. It is found that pounding prone buildings can be identified with reasonable accuracy by comparing configurations to characteristics previously noted by researchers. The 1995 Kobe earthquake caused unprecedented damage to buildings and civil infrastructures in the city of Kobe and its surrounding areas. In order to evaluate the structural damage in this area due to the earthquake, it is important to estimate the distribution of earthquake ground motion. However, since the number of strong ground motion records is not enough in the heavily damaged areas, it is necessary to estimate the distribution using other data sources. In this paper, the fragility curves for low‐rise residential buildings were constructed using the recorded motions and the building damage data from the intensive field survey by the AIJ and CPIJ group. The fragility curves obtained were then employed to estimate the strong motion distribution in the district level for Kobe and the surrounding areas during the earthquake. A series of studies was conducted on three buildings of steel reinforced concrete structures with RC shear walls damaged in the 1995 Hyogo-ken Nanbu earthquake. These buildings are located in an area where structural damage centred around. Two of these buildings suffered severe damage, while the third was not structurally damaged. Our studies deal with site inspections, including micro-tremor measurement of buildings, the evaluation of input motions, and the response analyses considering soil–structure interaction. The results of simulation analyses of the two severely damaged buildings correspond to their actual damage state. From the response analyses of the one slender building with no structural damage, it was concluded that uplifting is the main reason it did not suffer any structural damage. 目前城市建筑物震害预测的研究对象主要集中在地面结构。随着地下空间的大量开发利用,地下结构工程数量急剧增多,其震害预测也越来越受到重视。首先对地下结构进行基本分类,并对其地震破坏形式及震害机理进行系统介绍;然后通过梳理近年来地下结构震害预测的研究成果,总结当前地下结构震害预测的常用方法:震害调查统计方法、数值模拟方法、振动台试验方法以及概率分析方法,并指出各类方法的优缺点;最后分析地下结构震害预测研究的发展趋势,为地下结构工程防震减灾工作提供参考。  相似文献
