This paper investigates the dynamic behavior and the seismic effectiveness of a non‐conventional Tuned Mass Damper (TMD) with large mass ratio. Compared with conventional TMD, the device mass is increased up to be comparable with the mass of the structure to be protected, aiming at a better control performance. In order to avoid the introduction of an excessive additional weight, masses already present on the structure are converted into tuned masses, retaining structural or architectural functions beyond the mere control function. A reduced order model is introduced for design purposes and the optimal design of a large mass ratio TMD for seismic applications is then formulated. The design method is specifically developed to implement High‐Damping Rubber Bearings (HDRB) to connect the device mass to the main structure, taking advantage of combining stiffness and noticeable damping characteristics. Ground acceleration is modeled as a Gaussian random process with white noise power spectral density. A numerical searching technique is used to obtain the optimal design parameter, the frequency ratio alpha, which minimizes the root‐mean‐square displacement response of the main structure. The study finally comprises shaking table tests on a 1:5 scale model under a wide selection of accelerograms, both artificial and natural, to assess the seismic effectiveness of the proposed large mass ratio TMD. 因房屋功能要求增加,对某六层钢框架房屋采用轻刚门架进行加层改造,经验算,基础及原结构不需进行加固,满足相关设计规范要求。利用有限元软件ETABS对上部主体结构进行了动静力学特性分析,探讨了加层前后静荷载下的承载力、变形,地震作用下结构自振频率、振型、层间位移角、加速度和破坏模式等性能变化,通过加设支撑改善结构刚度分布和动力特性,减小地震作用,使之满足相关设计规范要求,为类似加层改造工程提供设计参考。  相似文献

统计分析2005年以来黑龙江及周边地区中强地震的频谱特征,分别计算各地震的应力降,利用静态与动态应力降比值,判断该区中强地震震后趋势。研究发现,2005年以来该区中强震Y值较大,在0.3—0.6,以孤立型地震为主。  相似文献

首先介绍了一种新型三维隔震(振)支座,该支座由联接件、竖向隔振支座和水平隔震支座组成。竖向隔振支座和水平隔震支座具有较小刚度,采用该类型支座的隔震结构,其竖向基频和水平基频可远离地铁、铁路振动和地震的主频,从而实现竖向隔振和水平隔震作用。其次介绍了该三维隔震(振)支座在某一地铁平台上部结构中的应用情况,对该类型支座进行了竖向性能和水平性能试验。最后对三维隔震(振)结构与传统结构进行了地铁运行时结构振动的对比测试。测试结果表明:三维隔震(振)系统对振动的高频信号具有显著衰减效果。  相似文献

选取1 000MW大型火力发电厂新型混合结构主厂房体系的三跨三榀进行缩尺比为1/7的空间模型试验研究.采用锤击法测试模型结构的动力特性,得到其自振频率和振型,并根据相似关系换算到原型结构.使用SAP2000软件建立混合结构主厂房模型和原型结构的有限元模型,进行模态分析,得到模型和原型结构的频率和振型,并与试验结果进行对比分析.可为大型火力发电厂新型混合结构主厂房体系的抗震性能研究提供依据.  相似文献

本文基于裂隙潮汐应力分析,提出了不排水条件下,单裂隙和多裂隙流体压力-引潮高的振幅比和位相差响应模型.基于响应模型的分析计算,绘制了单裂隙流体压力振幅比和位相差与裂隙产状的关系曲线,分析了岩体弹性参数(λ、μ)和Skempton系数(B)对裂隙流体压力振幅比和位相差的影响.结果表明,M2和O1波裂隙流体压力-引潮高的振幅比随裂隙倾角(DIP)增加而增加,位相差都在±165°~±180°( DIP< 15°)和0°~±10°(DIP>15°)之间,且两波位相差符号相反;流体压力振幅比线性地响应岩体弹性常数(λ、μ)和Skempton系数(B)的变化,但位相差几乎不受裂隙和岩体弹性参数的影响.  相似文献

A nonlinear static analysis methodology for the derivation of a set of pushover curves for any angle of incidence of the seismic action (multidirectional pushover curves) for bridges is developed, wherein the interaction between axial force and biaxial moments at critical pier sections or biaxial shear forces at the bearings is taken into account. Dynamic pushover curves (base shear vs. peak deck displacement) for arbitrary angle of incidence of the excitation, are derived for both unidirectional (single-component) and bidirectional (dual-component) ground motion. It is found that neglecting the minor horizontal component leads to underestimation of bridge response, especially along the bridge principal directions and that the angle of incidence of bidirectional excitation affects bridge response, but to a lesser extent than in the case of unidirectional excitation. The proposed procedure is then applied to a straight symmetric bridge, its results are checked against those from response-history analysis, and is found to be sufficiently accurate for practical application. Using the derived results it is also found that the design of the selected bridge is safe since for the design bidirectional earthquake the bridge starts to behave inelastically (the first plastic hinge forms), while its failure occurs for about four times the design seismic action.  相似文献

对结构-土相互作用体系中结构基础底面积和结构基础埋深对体系地震反应的影响进行了研究.基于有限元分析方法建立了结构-土相互作用三维计算模型,通过改变结构底面积及基础埋深在不同地震动下进行了地震反应分析.结果表明,考虑相互作用时,在同一种地震动作用下,结构顶层总位移及基础转动随着结构底面积的增大而明显减小,上部结构本身位移在总位移中所占比例随着底面积的增加而增大;底面积相同,结构顶层总位移及基础转动均随着埋置深度的增大而减小,上部结构本身位移在总位移中所占比例随着埋置深度的增加而增大.比较不同特性的地震动,不同底面积及埋深结构顶层总位移、基础转动、基础平动和结构自身位移的变化规律趋势相同.  相似文献
