Infrared spectral observations of Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn were made from 100 to 470 cm?1 using NASA's G. P. Kuiper Airborne Observatory. Taking Mars as a calibration source, we determined brightness temperatures of Jupiter and Saturn with approximately 5 cm?1 resolution. The data are used to determine the internal luminosities of the giant planets, for which more than 75% of the thermally emitted power is estimated to be in the measured bandpass: for Jupiter LJ = (8.0 ± 2.0) × 10?10L and for Saturn LS = (3.6 ± 0.9) × 10?10. The ratio R of thermally emitted power to solar power absorbed was estimated to be RJ = 1.6 ± 0.2, and RS = 2.7 ± 0.8 from the observations when both planets were near perihelion. The Jupiter spectrum clearly shows the presence of the rotational ammonia transitions which strongly influence the opacity at frequencies ?250 cm?1. Comparison of the data with spectra predicted from current models of Jupiter and Saturn permits inferences regarding the structure of the planetary atmospheres below the temperature inversion. In particular, an opacity source in addition to gaseous hydrogen and ammonia, such as ammonia ice crystals as suggested by Orton, may be necessary to explain the observed Jupiter spectrum in the vicinity of 250 cm?1.  相似文献

Interference filter photometry was taken of Comet Encke on June 14, 1974 (1.07 AU heliocentric distance, postperihelion) at the CTIO (Cerro Tololo Interamerican Observatory) 150-cm reflector. Production rates were calculated of 4.1 × 1023 mol sec?1 of CN, 5.3 × 1023 mol sec?1 of C3, and 4.3 × 1024 mol sec?1 of C2. These are about three times smaller than at comparable heliocentric distance preperihelion, assuming a value of 100 for the ratio H2O/ (C2 + C3 + CN). An upper limit was placed on the production of nonvolatiles at about one-third that of volatiles in mass by assuming a bulk density of 1 g cm?3, a particle geometric albedo of 0.1, and a phase function of 0.2.  相似文献

If the orbital resonances in the Jovian and Saturnian satellite systems are the result of orbital evolution due to tidal dissipation then the present rates of energy dissipation (Edot) are >2 × 1020 ergs sec?1 (Jupiter) and ?2 × 1016 ergs sec?1 (Saturn). These values of Edot can be accounted for if the planets have rocky cores with volumes equal to those suggested by current models of the interiors and if the material of these cores is both solid and imperfectly elastic (Qe ~ 34). The calculated values of Qe are not strongly dependent on either the rigidity of the core or the densities of the core and the mantle. Thus, these quantities need not be known precisely. It may be significant that approximately the same value of Qe is needed for all the major planets (Jupiter, Saturn, and Uranus) even though the values of Edot for these planets differ by a factor greater than 104.  相似文献

The u.v. spectrometer polarimeter on the Solar Maximum Mission has been utilized to measure mesospheric ozone vs altitude profiles by the technique of solar occultation. Sunset data are presented for 1980, during the fall equinoctal period within ± 20° of the geographic equator. Mean O3, concentrations are 4.0 × 1010 cm?3at 50 km, 1.6 × 1010 cm?3 at 55 km. 5.5 × 109 cm?3 at 60 km and 1.5 × 109 cm?3 at 65 km. Som profiles exhibit altitude structure which is wavelike. The mean ozone profile is fit best with the results of a time-dependent model if the assumed water vapor mixing ratio employed varies from 6 ppm at 50 km to 2–4 ppm at 65 km.  相似文献

Sample 14307,30, a gas-rich breccia (Group 1 of Warner, 1972) has been studied by coupling track method and light noble gas isotopic analysis. The breccia is made of a glassy dark matrix with embedded millimeter to sub-millimeter sized angular ligth xenoliths. These ones are breccia fragments of higher grade metamorphic facies (Group ? 2). A lighter strata (~ 0.5 cm thick) intersects the dark matrix. Noble gas analysis have shown the dark matrix (36Ar = 5.4 × 10?4 cc STP/g) to be enriched in solar type gases with respect to the light fractions (36Ar ? 2.2 × 10?4 cc STP/g). Themean value of the bulk ‘exposure age’ for different samplings is 180 ± 20 × 106 yr, as calculated from spallogenic3He,21Ne and126Xe contents, using our data and those of Bogard and Nyquist (1972). After appropriate correction for radiogenic40Ar, the ratio40Arexc/36Artr is about 5. A total of 390 crystals coming from 11 locations either in the dark matrix, the lighter strata or a light xenolith (0.25 cm diam), have been studied by track analysis using optical and scanning electron microscopy. 181 crystals were thoroughly investigated by means of the latter technique. The following results were obtained:
  1. 72 crystals (70-300µm diam) from one location (No. 12) in the matrix show aminimum track density distribution spreading over 3 orders of magnitude (from 2 × 106 up to 2 × 109 cm?2). The spectrum has at its lower edge a well defined peak (~ 50% of total crystal number) around 3 × 106 cm?2). Grains with track density variations over a factor of 3 have a low abundance as compared to average lunar soils. Moreover the mineralogy of this location is peculiar due to its large abundance in orthopyroxenes. Considering the lower edge of the track density distribution amaximum surface residence time of 5 × 106 yr can be set for rock 14307 in itspresent shape;
  2. 11 feldspars (1-15µm diam) and 22 clinopyroxenes (70-130µm) have been studied in the light xenolith. All crystals have minimum track densities larger than 108 cm?2. No spatial variation of track-densities (2.5 ± 0.5 × 109 cm?2) were found in feldspars inside a millimeter-sized polished section. Clearly these tracks were not acquired by an irradiation of the xenolith as an individual entity, but survived its own formation as a breccia of Group 2. Therefore, solar energetic iron particle tracks have not been erased despite a complex mechanical and thermal history involved by two subsequent brecciation processes;
  3. in the 10 other locations, crystals (70-200µm diam) either from the dark matrix or the lighter strata show a significant departure from the pattern observed in lunar soils; namely:
  1. the minimum track density distribution is strongly peaked at high values (~ 1-4 × 109 cm?2) for ~ 95% of the crystals, the remaining ~ 5% having low-values (0.2-1 × 107 cm?2);
  2. the abundance (2%) of crystals with track density variation over a factor of 3 is about one order of magnitude less than in average lunar soils;
  3. the magnitude of track density gradients within single crystals is small. In fact, thelargest track density variation versus depth found can be described by the relation? α D?0.5, in contrast with soil grains which generally exhibit a variation of the form? α D?1.1±0.4.
The above observations imply that the peculiar irradiation characteristics of these fossilized soils are more likely to be attributed to some wide scale process rather than to some accidental or local phenomena. Attempts to account for these findings by present solar VH particle flux and energy distribution (as determined by Crozaz and Walker, 1971; Fleischeret al., 1971b; Priceet al., 1971), current estimates of lunar fine scale erosion, accumulation and turn-over rates, have proven essentially negative. The bulk ‘exposure age’ of the breccia, rather low by lunar soil standards, makes things even worse. For lack of any better explanation, the above observations could be more easily understood by postulating a higher flux (by factors from ~ 10 up to 200) and a harder energy spectrum (at least for particles with rigidity less than 0.3 GV) for the solar cosmic rays at the time the constituents of the breccia were part as loose grains of the lunar regolith.  相似文献

In an updating of energy characteristics of lightnings on Venus obtained from Venera-9 and -10 optical observations, the flash energy is given as 8 × 108 J and the mean energy release of lightnings is 1 erg cm?2 s which is 25 times as high as that on the Earth. Lightnings were observed in the cloud layer. The stroke rate in the near-surface atmosphere is less than 5 s?1 over the entire planet if the light energy of the stroke exceeds 4 × 105 J and less than 15 s?1 for (1–4) × 105 J.The average NO production due to lightnings equals 5 × 108 cm?2 s?1, the atomic nitrogen production is equal to 7 × 109 cm?2s?1,the N flux toward the nightside is 3.2 × 109 cm?2s?1, the number densities [N] = 3 × 107cm?3 and [NO] = 1.8 × 106cm?3 at 135 km. Almost all NO molecules in the upper atmosphere vanish interacting with N and the resulting NO flux at 90-80 km equals 5 × 105cm?2s?1, which is negligibly small as compared with lightning production. If the predissociation at 80–90 km is regarded as the single sink of NO, its mixing ratio, fNO, is 4 × 10?8, for the case of a surface sink fNO = 0.8 × 10?9 at 50 km. Excess amounts, fNO ? 4 × 10?8, may exist in the thunderstorm region.  相似文献

The rates and altitudes for the dissociation of atmospheric constituents of Titan are calculated for solar UV, solar wind protons, interplanetary electrons, Saturn magnetospheric particles, and cosmic rays. The resulting integrated synthesis rates of organic products range from 102–103 g cm?2 over 4.5 × 109 years for high-energy particle sources to 1.3 × 104 g cm?2 for UV at λ < 1550 A?, and to 5.0 × 105 g cm?2 if λ > 1550 A? (acting primarily on C2H2, C2H4, and C4H2) is included. The production rate curves show no localized maxima corresponding to observed altitudes of Titan's hazes and clouds. For simple to moderately complex organic gases in the Titanian atmosphere, condensation occurs below the top of the main cloud deck at 2825 km. Such condensates comprise the principal cloud mass, with molecules of greater complexity condensing at higher altitudes. The scattering optical depths of the condensates of molecules produced in the Titanian mesosphere are as great as ~ 102/(particulate radius, μm) if column densities of condensed and gas phases are comparable. Visible condensation hazes of more complex organic compounds may occur at altitudes up to ~ 3060 km provided only that the abundance of organic products declines with molecular mass no faster than laboratory experiments indicate. Typical organics condensing at 2900 km have molecular masses = 100–150 Da. At current rates of production the integrated depth of precipitated organic liquids, ices, and tholins produced over 4.5 × 109 years ranges from a minimum ~ 100 m to kilometers if UV at λ > 1550 A? is important. The organic nitrogen content of this layer is expected to be ~ 10?1?10?3 by mass.  相似文献

A model is presented for the photochemistry of PH3 in the upper troposphere and lower stratosphere of Saturn that includes the effects of coupling with NH3 and hydrocarbon photochemistry, specifically the C2H2 catalyzed photodissociation of CH4. PH3 is rapidly depleted with altitude (scale height ~35 km) in the upper troposphere when K~104cm2sec?1; an upper limit for K at the tropopause is estimated at ~105cm2sec?1. If there is no gas phase P2H4 because of sublimation, P2 and P4 formation is unlikely unless the rate of the spin-forbidden recombination reaction PH + H2 + M → PH3 + M is exceedingly slow. An upper limit P4 column density of ~2×1015cm?2 is estimated in the limit of no recombination. If sublimation does not remove all gas phase P2H4, P2 and P4 may be produced in potentially larger quantities, although they would be restricted almost entirely to the lowest levels of our model, where T?100°K. Potentially observable amounts of the organophosphorus compounds CH3P2H2 and HCP are predicted, with column densities of >1017 cm?2 and production rates of ~2×108cm?2sec?1. The possible importance of electronically excited states of PHx and additional PH3/hydrocarbon photochemical coupling paths are also considered.  相似文献

Evolutionary calculations are presented for spherically symmetric protoplanetary configurations with a homogeneous solar composition and with masses of 10?3, 1.5 × 10?3, 2.85 × 10?4, and 4.2 × 10?4M. Recent improvements in equation-of-state and opacity calculations are incorporated. Sequences start as subcondensations in the solar nebula with densities of ~10?10 to 10?11 g cm?3, evolve through a hydrostatic phase lasting 105 to 107 years, undergo dynamic collapse due to dissociation of molecular hydrogen, and regain hydrostatic equilibrium with densities ~1 g cm?3. The nature of the objects at the onset of the final phase of cooling and contraction is discussed and compared with previous calculations.  相似文献

RX J1856.5–3754 is one of the brightest nearby isolated neutron stars, and considerable observational resources have been devoted to it. However, current models are unable to satisfactorily explain the data. We show that our latest models of a thin, magnetic, partially ionized hydrogen atmosphere on top of a condensed surface can fit the entire spectrum, from X-rays to optical, of RX J1856.5–3754, within the uncertainties. In our simplest model, the best-fit parameters are an interstellar column density N H≈1×1020 cm?2 and an emitting area with R ≈17 km (assuming a distance to RX J1856.5–3754 of 140 pc), temperature T ≈4.3×105 K, gravitational redshift z g ~0.22, atmospheric hydrogen column y H≈1 g cm?2, and magnetic field B≈(3–4)×1012 G; the values for the temperature and magnetic field indicate an effective average over the surface.  相似文献

The spectrum of Saturn was measured from 80 to 350 cm?1 (29 to 125 μm) with ≈6-cm?1 resolution using a Michelson interferometer aboard NASA's Kuiper Airborne Observatory. These observations are of the full disk, with little contribution from the rings. For frequencies below 300 cm?1, Saturn's brightness temperature rises slowly, reaching ≈111°K at 100 cm?1. The effective temperature is 96.8 ± 2.5°K, implying that Saturn emits 3.0 ± 0.5 times as much energy as it receives from the Sun. The rotation-inversion manifolds of NH3 that are prominent in the far-infrared spectrum of Jupiter are not observed on Saturn. Our models predict the strengths to be only ≈2 to 5°K in brightness temperature because most of the NH3 is frozen out; this is comparable to the noise in our data. By combining our data with those of an earlier investigation when the Saturnicentric latitude of the Sun was B′ = 21.2°, we obtain the spectrum of the rings. The high-frequency end of the ring spectrum (ν > 230 cm?1) has nearly constant brightness temperature of 85°K. At lower frequencies, the brightness temperature decreases roughly as predicted by a simple absorption model with an optical depth proportional to ν1.5. This behavior could be due to mu-structure on the surface of the ring particles with a scale size of 10 to 100 μm and/or to impurities in their composition.  相似文献

The following conclusions about the kinematics and parameters of the gas in the vicinity of TW Hya have been drawn from an analysis of optical and ultraviolet line profiles and intensities. The accreting matter rises in the magnetosphere to a distance z>R* above the disk plane and falls to the star near its equator almost perpendicular to its plane. The matter outflows from a disk region with an outer radius of ≤0.5 AU. The [OI], [SII], and H2 lines originate in the disk atmosphere outside the outflow region, where the turbulent gas velocity is close to the local speed of sound. In the formation region of the forbidden lines, T?8500 K and Ne?5×106 cm?3, and the hydrogen is almost neutral: xe<0.03. The absorption features observed in the blue wings of some of the ultraviolet lines originate in the part of the wind that moves almost perpendicular to the disk plane, i.e., in the jet of TW Hya. The V z gas velocity component in the jet decreases with increasing distance from the jet axis from 200 to 30 km s?1. The matter outflowing from the inner disk boundary, moves perpendicular to the disk plane in the formation region of blue absorption line components, at a distance of ~0.5 AU from the axis of symmetry of the disk. This region of the wind is collimated into the jet at a distance of <3 AU from the disk plane. The gas temperature in the formation region of absorption components is ?2×104 K, and the gas density is <3×106 cm?3. This region of the jet is on the order of several AU away from the disk plane, while free recombination in the jet begins even farther from the disk. The mass-loss rate for TW Hya is \(\dot M_w < 7 \times 10^{ - 10} M_ \odot yr^{ - 1}\), which is a factor of 3lower than the mean accretion rate. The relative abundance of silicon and aluminum in the jet gas is at least an order of magnitude lower than its standard value.  相似文献

The results of JHKLM photometry for Nova Delphini 2013 obtained in the first sixty days after its outburst are analyzed. Analysis of the energy distribution in a wide spectral range (0.36–5 µm) has shown that the source mimics the emission of normal supergiants of spectral types B5 and A0 for two dates near its optical brightness maximum, August 15.94 UT and August 16.86 UT, respectively. The distance to the nova has been estimated to be D ≈ 3 kpc. For these dates, the following parameters have been estimated: the source’s bolometric fluxes ~9 × 10?7 and ~7.2 × 10?7 erg s?1 cm?2, luminosities L ≈ 2.5 × 105 L and ≈2 × 105 L , and radii R ≈ 6.3 × 1012 and ≈1.2 × 1013 cm. The nova’s expansion velocity near its optical brightness maximum was ~700 km s?1. An infrared (IR) excess associated with the formation of a dust shell is shown to have appeared in the energy distribution one month after the optical brightness maximum. The parameters of the dust component have been estimated for two dates of observations, JD2456557.28 (September 21, 2013) and JD2456577.18 (October 11, 2013). For these dates, the dust shell parameters have been estimated: the color temperatures ≈1500 and ≈1200 K, radii ≈6.5 × 1013 and 1.7 × 1014 cm, luminosities ~4 × 103 L and ~1.1 × 104 L , and the dust mass ~1.6 × 1024 and ~1025 g. The total mass of the material ejected in twenty days (gas + dust) could reach ~1.1 × 10?6 M . The rate of dust supply to the nova shell was ~8 × 10?8 M yr?1. The expansion velocity of the dust shell was about 600 km s?1.  相似文献

Using a method defined in a previous paper [M. Combes and T. Encrenaz, Icarus39 1–27 (1979)], we reestimated the C/H ratio in the atmospheres of Jupiter and Saturn by the measurements of the weak visible CH4 bands, the CH43 band, and the (3-0) and (4-0) quadrupole bands of H2. In the case of Jupiter we conclude that the C/H ratio is enriched by a factor ranging from 1.7 to 3.6 relative to the solar value. In the case of Saturn, our derived C/H value ranges from 1.2 to 3.2 times the solar value. The Jovian D/H ratio derived from this study is 1.2 × 10?5 < D/H < 3.1 × 10?5. The value derived for the D/H ratio on Saturn is not precise enough to be conclusive.  相似文献

It is the purpose of this paper to illustrate the interrelation between the problems of the ‘missing mass’, the galactic age and the cosmological constant A (or its equivalent quantum vacuum densityρ v ). The inflationary picture of the early universe predicts that our present universe should have a very nearlyEuclidean metric. If we accept this concept, one would have to discriminate between two rather extreme Euclidean cosmological models:
  1. The standard model with ∧=0 and a densityρ c = 3H 0 2 G. There are difficulties ifH 0≥5- km s?1 Mpc?1 and the galactic aget 0≥14×109 years.
  2. The Euclidean Friedmann-Lemaître models with ∧>0, i.e., Δgt;0, i.e.,ρ v =ρ c ?ρ o , whereρ o is the present matter density, including the nonrelativistic dark matter. Hereρ v ‘competes’ with the missing mass.
Measurements of apparent diameters of galaxies up to redshifts of 2 will permit one to discriminate between the models provided that size evolution of galaxies can be determined or neglected (see Figure 3).  相似文献

An experimental study was undertaken to determine how the spectral and photometric properties of representative Martian areas are affected by fallout of atmospheric dust suspended during dust forms. A laboratory apparatus was used to simulate the uniform fallout and deposition of particles 1 to 5 μm in diameter. Spectral measurements from 0.4- to 1.2-μm wavelengths and photometric measurements at several wavelengths were made for a number of Mars-analog materials before and after deposition of 6 × 10?5 to 1.5 × 10?3 g/cm2 of simulated fallout. These results indicate that the spectral and photometric properties of Martian regions can be affected significantly even by minute amounts of fallout. For instance, the reflectance at 0.56 μm of an average dark area will increase by 35% after deposition of only 9 × 10?5 g/cm2, and by 70% after deposition of 1.5 × 10?4 g/cm2. Thus the fallout from even one dust storm season (~2 × 10?3 g/cm2) is sufficient to change significantly the spectral and photometric characteristics of the substrate material, if the fallout were ubiquitous over the surface and if no competing processes of dust removal from surface grains occured.  相似文献

This study analyzes the evolution of 2 × 105 orbits with initial parameters corresponding to the orbits of comets of the Oort cloud under the action of planetary, galactic, and stellar perturbations over 2 × 109 years. The dynamical evolution of comets of the outer (orbital semimajor axes a > 104 AU) and inner (5 × 103 < a (AU) < 104) parts of the comet cloud is analyzed separately. The estimates of the flux of “new” and long-period comets for all perihelion distances q in the planetary region are reported. The flux of comets with a > 104 AU in the interval 15 AU < q < 31 AU is several times higher than the flux of comets in the region q < 15 AU. We point out the increased concentration of the perihelia of orbits of comets from the outer cloud, which have passed several times through the planetary system, in the Saturn-Uranus region. The maxima in the distribution of the perihelia of the orbits of comets of the inner Oort cloud are located in the Uranus-Neptune region. “New” comets moving in orbits with a < 2 × 104 AU and arriving at the outside of the planetary system (q > 25 AU) subsequently have a greater number of returns to the region q < 35 AU. The perihelia of the orbits of these comets gradually drift toward the interior of the Solar System and accumulate beyond the orbit of Saturn. The distribution of the perihelia of long-period comets beyond the orbit of Saturn exhibits a peak. We discuss the problem of replenishing the outer Oort cloud by comets from the inner part and their subsequent dynamical evolution. The annual rate of passages of comets of the inner cloud, which replenish the outer cloud, in the region q < 1 AU in orbits with a > 104 AU (~ 5.0 × 10?14 yr?1) is one order of magnitude lower than the rate of passage of comets from the outer Oort cloud (~ 9.1 × 10?13 yr?1).  相似文献

In the framework of the MOdified Newtonian Dynamics (MOND), the internal dynamics of a gravitating system s embedded in a larger one S is affected by the external background field E of S even if it is constant and uniform, thus implying a violation of the Strong Equivalence Principle: it is the so-called External Field Effect (EFE). In the case of the solar system, E would be A cen≈10?10 m?s?2 because of its motion through the Milky Way: it is orders of magnitude smaller than the main Newtonian monopole terms for the planets. We address here the following questions in a purely phenomenological manner: are the Sun’s planets affected by an EFE as large as 10?10 m?s?2? Can it be assumed that its effect is negligible for them because of its relatively small size? Does E induce vanishing net orbital effects because of its constancy over typical solar system’s planetary orbital periods? It turns out that a constant and uniform acceleration, treated perturbatively, does induce non-vanishing long-period orbital effects on the longitude of the pericenter ? of a test particle. In the case of the inner planets of the solar system and with E≈10?10 m?s?2, they are 4–6 orders of magnitude larger than the present-day upper bounds on the non-standard perihelion precessions \(\Delta\dot{\varpi}\) recently obtained with by E.V. Pitjeva with the EPM ephemerides in the Solar System Barycentric frame. The upper limits on the components of E are E x ≤1×10?15 m?s?2, E y ≤2×10?16 m?s?2, E z ≤3×10?14 m?s?2. This result is in agreement with the violation of the Strong Equivalence Principle by MOND. Our analysis also holds for any other exotic modification of the current laws of gravity yielding a constant and uniform extra-acceleration. If and when other corrections \(\Delta\dot{\varpi}\) to the usual perihelion precessions will be independently estimated with different ephemerides it will be possible to repeat such a test.  相似文献

Four surveys in which the geometrical parameters were suitable for observations on weak scattering objects were carried out by the Venera 9, 10 orbiters using 3000–8000 Å spectrometers. The results of one survey can be explained by a dust layer at the height of sighting h = 100–700 km. Its absence in other sessions suggests a ring structure. The spectrum of dust scattering is a power function of the wavelength with the index varying from ?2.1 at 100km to ?1.3 at 500km. A method is proposed for obtaining the optical thickness, density and size distribution of dust particles from the scattering spectra. For m > 10?14 g the number of dust particles with a mass higher than m is proportional to m?1.3. The radial optical thickness τ is 0.7 × 10?5 at 5000 Å assuming the geometric thickness δ to be 100 km. The maximum optical thickness along the normal to the plane of the ring is τn = 4 × 10?6. The mass of the ring is 20 tons or 5 × 10?3 g cm?1 per unit circumference length; the maximum mass in a column normal to the ring plane is 10?10g cm?2; the maximum density (for δ = 100 km) is 10?17 g cm?3. A satellite of Venus gradually destroyed by temperature effects and by meteorite streams and plasma fluxes is suggested as the source of dust in the ring. One of 1 km radius could sustain such a ring for a billion years. The zodiacal light intensity near Venus is estimated.  相似文献

Earlier, under certain simplifying assumptions, on the basis of the General Theory of Relativity, it has been concluded by many authors that when the radius of a gravitationally collapsing spherical object of massM reaches the critical value of the Scharzschild radiusR s=2GM/c 2, then, in a co-moving frame, the object collapses catastrophically to a point. However, in drawing this conclusion due consideration has not been given to the nuclear forces between the nucleons. In particular, the very strong ‘hard-core’ repulsive interaction between the nucleons which has the range ~0.4×10?13 cm has been totally ignored. On taking into account this ‘hard-core’ repulsive interaction, it is found that no spherical object of massM g can collapse to a volume of radius smaller thanR min=(1.68×10?6)M 1/3 cm or to a density larger than ρmax=5.0 × 1016 g cm?3. It has also been pointed out that objects of mass smaller thanM c~1.21×1033 g can not cross the Schwarzschild barrier and gravitationally collapse. The only course left to the objects of mass less thanM cis to reach the equilibrium as either a white dwarf or a neutron star.  相似文献
