For various groups of photospheric magnetic fields differing in strength, averaged synoptic maps have been obtained from the data of the Kitt Peak National Solar Observatory (1976–2003). The latitudinal profiles of magnetic field fluxes are considered individually for each 5-G field strength interval. Changes in the maxima of the latitude profiles and their localization in the latitude are studied. The results are evidence that the latitudinal distribution of the magnetic fields changes significantly at field strengths of 5, 15, and 50 G. The magnetic flux for groups of fields differing in strength decreases monotonically as the strength increases, starting from B > 5 G; the fluxes of the southern hemisphere exceed those of the northern hemisphere. A very special group is formed by the weakest fields with B < 5 G, which are opposite in phase to stronger fields in terms of localization and time changes.  相似文献

The results of the work of the global observation network are considered, and a comparative analysis of the data of various coronal observatories is performed. The coronal activity index has been reconstructed for the period 1939–2016 based on the data of various observatories in Kislovodsk system. For this purpose, the corona daily intensity maps from the Sacramento Peak and Lomnický ?tít observatories according to the Solar-Geophysical Data journal have been digitized; they supplement the data of other observatories. The homogeneity and continuity of the corona observations at the Kislovodsk station, including activity cycle 24, is confirmed. Unfortunately, the only observatory at present that continues observation of the spectral corona in Fe XIV 5303 Å and Fe XIV 6374 Å lines is the Kislovodsk astronomical station Mountain Astronomical Station (MAS) of the Central Astronomical Observatory, Russian Academy of Sciences (Pulkovo). The data on the combined corona in 5303 Å line are analyzed. It is shown that there is a high correlation of the intensity index of green corona with solar radiation measurements in the vacuum UV region. Data on the beginning of the new 25th activity cycle in the corona at high latitudes are presented.  相似文献

PASSEQ 2006–2008 (Passive Seismic Experiment in TESZ; Wilde-Piórko et al. 2008) was the biggest passive seismic experiment carried out so far in the area of Central Europe (Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic and Lithuania). 196 seismic stations (including 49 broadband seismometers) worked simultaneously for over two years. During the experiment, multiple types of data recorders and seismometers were used, making the analysis more complex and time consuming. The dataset was unified and repaired to start the detection of local seismic events. Two different approaches for detection were applied for stations located in Poland. The first one used standard STA/LTA triggers (Carl Johnson’s STA/LTA algorithm) and grid search to classify and locate the events. The result was manually verified. The second approach used Real Time Recurrent Network (RTRN) detection (Wiszniowski et al. 2014). Both methods gave similar results, showing four previously unknown seismic events located in the Gulf of Gdańsk area, situated in the southern Baltic Sea. In this paper we discuss both detection methods with their pros and cons (accuracy, efficiency, manual work required, scalability). We also show details of all detected and previously unknown events in the discussed area.  相似文献

The dependences of the number and parameters of non-polar coronal holes (CHs) on characteristics of the Sun’s global magnetic field (GMF) are investigated in cycles 21–23 of solar activity (1976–2012) based on data from the CH catalog of the Mountain Astronomical Station of the Main (Pulkovo) Astronomical Observatory of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The influence of variations in the GMF structural arrangement on the CH number and parameters is considered. It is shown that the more stable and steadystate the GMF topology is in the cycle, the higher are the GMF values. The majority of CHs form over periods of stable GMF structure. With a growth in the rate of structural GMF changes, the CH number and the values of all CH parameters decrease. The correlation between the area, extension in latitude and longitude, and magnetic flux of CHs and the intensity of both the calculated coronal field and the observed large-scale photospheric magnetic field is higher in cycles with larger magnetic-field values and with a more stable GMF structure. Non-polar CHs are divided into three groups depending on the GMF value and a rate of the structural GMF rearrangement.  相似文献

Ground Surface Temperature (GST) history in Poland was derived from the inversion of temperature-depth profiles in over 20 wells. Temperature histories for the period 1500 A.D. through 1977 A.D. agree well with the instrumental record of the surface-air temperature available for the last two centuries. A statistical correlation of the reconstructed histories (from the well temperature data) with the instrumental record (air temperature) from the homogeneous Warsaw series is high (>0.8). Functional space inversion (FSI) of the temperature data with depth shows that beginning in the early 19th century, temperatures warmed by 0.9 ± 0.1°C following a long period of colder climate before. The last number could be a minimal as higher warming was calculated using a simple model based on surface temperature for the observational period (homogenized Warsaw surface temperature series, Lorenc, 2000) and POM (pre-observational mean; Harris and Chapman, 1998) of –1.53oC below the 1951–1980 mean temperature level.  相似文献

Summary The actual sea level disturbances at Hoek van Holland during the two storms of 21st–24th December, 1954 are compared to disturbance heights that are computed on the assumption that the sea level disturbances at any place behave like the deviations of a damped harmonic oscillator from its equilibrium position. From this comparison the parameters of the model and, hence, the eigen-period and the resonance period of oscillation have been computed.Moreover, it is shown that in the present case, we can speak of resonance and, finally, that an assumed third storm of the same force and occurring after the same time interval would have given about the same maximum disturbance height.

Zusammenfassung Die beobachteten Erhöhungen des Meeresspiegels in Hoek van Holland während zweier Stürme vom 21. bis 24. Dezember 1954 wurden mit Erhöhungen verglichen, die auf Grund der Voraussetzung berechnet wurden, daß die Wasserstandserhöhungen an einem beliebigen Ort sich wie die Ausschläge eines gedämpften harmonischen Oszillators verhalten. Aus diesem Vergleich ergeben sich Werte für die Parameter dieses mathematischen Modells, aus denen sich dann die Eigenschwingungsdauer und die Resonanzschwingungsdauer berechnen lassen.Außerdem ergibt sich, daß man es hier mit einem Fall von Resonanz zu tun hat.Schließlich wird gezeigt, daß ein hypothetischer, nach gleichem Zeitintervall folgender dritter Sturm derselben Stärke schon keine wesentlich größeren Erhöhungen mehr hervorgerufen haben würde.

Résumé On compare les élévations actuelles du niveau de la mer observées à Hoek van Holland pendant les deux tempêtes du 21 au 24 décembre 1954 avec des élévations calculées en supposant que l'élévation à une place quelconque peut être «expliquée» à l'aide du modèle mathématique d'un oscillateur harmonique amorti. On déduit de cette comparaison les paramètres du modèle et, conséquemment, la période propre et la période de résonance.En outre, on montre que dans le cas considéré il s'agit d'une résonance et, enfin, qu'une troisième tempête hypothétique de la même force qui se serait produite après un même interval de temps aurait causé environ la même élévation maximale.

This paper is concerned with eruptions, seismicity, and deformation on Klyuchevskoi Volcano during the summit eruptions of 2012–2013, with the condition of the central crater during the eruptions, and with the effect that is exerted by the height of the lava in the crater on the start of the eruptions. The recurrence of eruptions in the North Volcanic Cluster (NVC), Kamchatka showed that all the four volcanoes in the cluster (Klyuchevskoi, Tolbachik, Shiveluch, and Bezymyannyi) become active during definite phases that were identified in the 18.6-year lunar cycle. This relationship of the NVC eruptions to the active phases in the 18.6-year lunar cycle, as well as the relationship to the 11-year solar activity, showed that eruptions can be predicted, yielding long-term estimates of activity for the NVC volcanoes. The short-term prediction of volcanic eruptions requires knowledge of seismicity and deformation that occur during the precursory period and during the occurrence of eruptions. Seismic activity during the summit eruptions of 2003–2013 took place in the depth range 20–25 km during repose periods of the volcano and at depths of 0–5 km in the volcanic edifice during the eruption. One notes an almost complete absence of any earthquakes at great depths during the summit eruptions. Volcanic tremor (VT) was recorded from the time that the eruptions began and continued to occur until the end. Geodetic measurements showed that the center of the magma pressure beneath the volcano during the parasitic and summit eruptions of 1979–1989 moved in the 4–17 km depth range, while during the summit eruptions of 2003–2013 the center moved in the 15–20 km range. These changes in the depth of the center of magma pressure may have been related to evacuation from shallow magma chambers.  相似文献

The paper illustrates the opportunities provided by the use of data from Russian satellite experiments (CORONAS and Universitetsky-Tatiana of Meteor series) on the measurement of fluxes and spectra of solar cosmic rays at altitudes of 370–1000 km for simulation of the ozonosphere state. The results of photochemical simulation and observational data analysis showing the influence of solar protons on polar ozonosphere and lower ionosphere in periods of solar proton events (SPE) on November 4, 2001, October 28, 2003, and January 16, 2005 are presented. It is shown that the solar proton action causes ozone depletion in the mesosphere above the polar regions. The strongest depletion (up to 70%) was caused by the SPE that occurred on October 28, 2003.  相似文献
