本文对来自汉诺坝玄武岩中的三类辉石岩包体的单斜辉石(Cpx)利用LA—ICP—MS进行了原位微区微量元素分析研究。金云母单斜辉石岩中的单斜辉石具有低Cr,Co和Ni,高CaO、Zr、Hf、Ta和LREE特征,并且具有较低的Mg^#,反映金云母单斜辉石岩可能是经受了后期交代作用的地慢岩浆堆晶产物尖晶石二辉橄榄岩中的石榴辉石岩脉体中的Cpx具有高Na2O低CaO特征,其Ti、Zr、Hf、Y含量明显高于其它石榴辉石岩Cpx中的含量,反映了石榴辉石岩脉体可能是富Na硅酸盐熔体与地幔尖晶石二辉橄榄岩反应的成因,部分石榴辉石岩包体的Cpx具有特征的La富集或微量元素(如Zr、Hf、Ta、Li、P、REE等)环状对称分布特征,暗示华北克拉通北缘可能存在多期次地幔交代富集作用.通过对同一Cpx颗粒中的流体包裹体密集区和干净区域的对比研究,发现Cpx中的流体包襄体不仅富集LILE和LREE,而且HFSE中的Nb、Ta、Zr和P也具有明显的富集特征,LREE和HFSE未发生明显分异,这可能暗示地幔交代流体中含有少量的络阴离子(如F^-和Cl^-等).  相似文献

本文对华北克拉通三个不同地区(河北汉诺坝、内蒙古集宁三义堂、河南鹤壁)新发现的含金云母尖晶石二辉橄榄岩和尖晶石橄榄单斜辉石岩捕虏体进行了详细的矿物组成、单斜辉石的微量元素和 Sr-Nd 同位素研究。通过与相同地区不含金云母尖晶石二辉橄榄岩捕虏体的系统对比发现通常含金云母的地幔橄榄岩比不含金云母的地幔橄榄岩岩富 Al_2O_3、CaO、NaO、K_2O、TiO_2,但相对贫镁;其单斜辉石的 LREE 更为富集,但 Sr、Nd 同位素组成则相对亏损。这说明地幔交代作用不仅能够造成地幔橄榄岩的玄武质组分和稀土元素的富集,而且亦能够造成全岩和橄榄石 Mg~#的降低和同位素组成的相对亏损。捕虏体的 Rb-Sr 等时线年龄暗示地幔交代作用发生在中、新生代;其交代熔体来源于软流圈。同时说明华北新生代岩石圈地慢普遍存在的主、微量元素和同位素组成类似于"大洋型"岩石圈地幔的特征很可能是岩石圈地幔橄榄岩与软流圈来源的熔体的大规模反应的结果,而非真正意义上的新增生的岩石圈地幔。  相似文献

南美洲南部的Pali Aike火山岩区第四纪碱性玄武岩中普遍发育含石榴石的斜方辉石岩包体。这种斜方辉石岩既作为独立的捕掳体存在又以细脉的形式穿插于橄榄岩捕掳体中。斜方辉石岩普遍含富Ti矿物,并且次生斜方辉石含橄榄石和单斜辉石残晶。与含石榴石橄榄岩中的斜方辉石相比,这种次生的斜方辉石以高TiO2、中等含量的Al2O3以及低Mg#为特征,表明它是在一种高度分异演化的富Ti熔体交代作用下通过消耗橄榄石和单斜辉石方式形成的。斜方辉石岩全岩的Co、Ni略低,Cr和铂族元素(PGE)含量与地幔橄榄岩相当,表明这些元素在交代作用过程中相对稳定,而交代介质带入的组分以碱质(K2O+Na2O)、Ti、Si、Al和S为主。交代的斜方辉石在现代活动岛弧和古克拉通的地幔橄榄岩捕掳体中多有报道。与这些环境中地幔样品的斜方辉石相比,PaliAike地区的次生斜方辉石含有相对高的Ti和Al,以及相对低的Mg。高Ti低Mg属性反映了交代介质可能来源于下伏的软流圈地幔并且经历了高度的分异和演化过程。Pali Aike地区所见到的这种交代斜方辉石和斜方辉石岩在其他被上涌软流圈影响的陆下岩石圈地幔中可能普遍存在。这些研究对了解中国华北-东北中生代以来的岩石圈地幔减薄机制有着重要的借鉴意义。  相似文献

海南岛陆缘扩张带蓬莱地区新生代玄武岩中捕获大量尖晶石二辉橄榄岩和方辉橄榄岩幔源包体。激光剥蚀等离子体质谱(LA-ICP-MS)分析结果表明,蓬莱地幔橄榄岩含有三种不同地球化学特征的单斜辉石(Cpx):(1)a类单斜辉石Mg~#=92.3~93.4,来自富集Cpx的二辉橄榄岩,具有极低的LREE和不相容元素含量,HREE平坦,Th、U、La、Sr正异常,经历了7%~10%的尖晶石相部分熔融,仅受到极低程度强不相容元素(Th、U、La、Sr)初期富集交代作用;(2)b类单斜辉石Mg~#=89.9~90.3,来自较富集Cpx的二辉橄榄岩,具有中等的LREE和LILE含量,HREE平坦,微量元素蛛网图上显示Th、U正异常,Rb、Ba、Nb、Ta、Sr、Ti负异常,经历4%~5%的尖晶石相部分熔融,可能受到了含LREE和Th、U等不相容元素的硅酸盐熔体交代;(3)c类单斜辉石Mg~#=91.4~92.8,来自贫Cpx的二辉橄榄岩和方辉橄榄岩,具有富集的LREE和LILE含量,HREE弱分异,微量元素蛛网图上显示Th、U正异常及强烈的Nb、Ta、Ti负异常,经历了8%~20%的尖晶石相部分熔融,其交代熔体可能是来自源区有石榴子石残留的碳酸盐熔体。全岩主、微量元素及模拟计算结果表明,这些幔源包体的主量元素主要受部分熔融程度影响,并且方辉橄榄岩经历的部分熔融程度大于二辉橄榄岩。地幔橄榄岩的Sr-Nd同位素组成表明该区具有MORB-OIB型亏损地幔特征。此外,蓬莱部分地幔橄榄岩包体显示正斜率的HREE分异特征((Gd/Yb)_N=0.4~0.7),暗示该区地幔经历了源自石榴子石稳定区的变压熔融,总体熔融程度为18%以上,指示了较高的地幔潜能温度。综合前人对海南岛新生代玄武岩最新研究成果,我们认为海南地幔柱可能为该区软流圈地幔置换古老岩石圈地幔提供了热源,导致了区域岩石圈地幔的破坏,从而引起包括地幔柱本身、软流圈和富集岩石圈的熔融。岩石圈地幔性质的改变和不均一性可能是海南岛陆缘扩张带新生代岩石圈减薄的主要动力学机制。  相似文献

湘西通道地区长界橄榄辉石岩主要组成矿物为单斜辉石、橄榄石和斜长石,还具有少量的Ti—Fe氧化物。本文利用电子探针对江南造山带西段湘西通道地区长界橄榄辉石岩单斜辉石进行了详细的矿物学研究,研究结果表明单斜辉石属于顽透辉石和普通辉石。长界橄榄辉石岩单斜辉石较富镁而贫铁,并且还具有高硅、贫碱、低钙的特征,其母岩浆属于拉斑玄武系列。单斜辉石温压计算结果显示,橄榄辉石岩的形成温度为1260~1383℃,压力为1.5~2.6GPa,深度为50~86km,平均深度为73km。整体来看,长界橄榄辉石岩形成的温度基本与软流圈地幔的温度(1280~1350℃)相当,其形成深度为约73km的地幔深处,且在这种温压条件下,软流圈地幔可以发生减压熔融。单斜辉石的成分特征显示示长界橄榄辉石岩是板内拉斑玄武岩,指示其构造背景为裂谷环境。另外,单斜辉石具低的Al_2O_3(0.02%~5.51%)、TiO_2(0~0.46%)和Na_2O(0.01%~1.44%)的特征,这可能是单斜辉石寄主岩石岩浆源区受到俯冲熔体/流体的交代改造作用所导致。结合作者和前人的研究结果,我们推测长界橄榄辉石岩源区为软流圈地幔,其形成可能与裂谷作用导致软流圈物质上涌并发生熔融有关,且在形成长界橄榄辉石岩之前,软流圈地幔已经遭受过俯冲熔体/流体的交代改造作用。  相似文献

鲁西中生代辉长-闪长质岩石中纯橄岩捕虏体的岩石学、矿物化学及微量元素地球化学研究表明,纯橄岩捕虏体代表了古老岩石圈地幔的残留;地幔纯橄岩捕虏体中存在两种类型的交代作用,一是以填隙型金云母为代表的早期富含CO_2和H_2O的不活动流体的交代作用;二是以斜方辉石交代脉和网络状斜方辉石为代表的晚期富硅质熔(流)体的交代作用。后者代表了起源于软流圈的富硅质熔(流)体对古老岩石圈地幔的一种化学侵蚀。这对认识华北地块东部中生代岩石圈地幔的性质以及岩石圈减薄机制具有重要意义。  相似文献

昌乐方山新生代玄武岩中携带有大量深源捕虏岩,其岩石类型以二辉辉石岩、二辉橄榄岩为主,方辉橄榄岩、单斜辉石岩、单辉橄榄岩少见,未见纯橄岩。二辉辉石岩、二辉橄榄岩、方辉橄榄岩的矿物岩石、地球化学特征和平衡温度压力计算显示为地幔来源,采用地质温度压力计进行计算,获取三者都源于岩石圈地幔,形成的深度范围为41~66.7 km。根据单辉橄榄岩和单斜辉石岩的矿物化学分析,单斜辉石岩和单辉橄榄岩形成深度要低于前三者,且与前三者有密切成因联系。"熔体—岩石"反应在各类深源捕虏岩中广泛存在,除方辉橄榄岩样品不存在明显的"熔体—岩石"反应外,二辉辉石岩、单斜辉石岩、二辉橄榄岩中不同的矿物边缘与玄武质熔体接触部位有着不同类型的反应边和反应矿物出现:橄榄石边部发生(Mg,Fe)_2SiO_4(镁橄榄石)+熔体(原始岩浆)=(Mg,Fe)_2SiO_4(贵橄榄石)+熔体(演化岩浆)反应,使得边部富铁贫镁;单斜辉石与玄武质熔体反应,多具有粉红色反应边,具有富Ti、Al、Fe,贫Si、Mg,较玄武岩基质中单斜辉石斑晶更低Mg~#的特征。斜方辉石与玄武质熔体反应生成复杂的反应带,存在斜方辉石+熔体=橄榄石+SiO_2(熔体)+单斜辉石的反应,反应带内新生成的矿物由内向外具有明显趋向玄武质熔体成分的变化;尖晶石与玄武质熔体反应边缘具有富Fe、Ti,贫Mg、Al,以及更高的Cr~#,趋向于形成钛铁矿的变化特征。二辉橄榄岩中熔体囊和单辉橄榄岩中筛状单斜辉石以及粉红色的反应边都暗示了二者至少经历了两个期次的熔体作用。随着岩石圈地幔的演化,熔体的再富集作用使得难熔的方辉橄榄岩逐渐转变为相对富集的二辉橄榄岩,后期二辉橄榄岩又与玄武质熔体反应,生成更加富集的单辉橄榄岩,而方山方辉橄榄岩也受到了熔体的轻度改造,已不具有难熔古老岩石圈地幔岩石的显著特征,鲁西新生代玄武岩中深源捕虏体与熔体的反应广泛存在,熔体成分以玄武质为主,这可能是华北克拉通岩石圈置换的重要方式之一,导致古老岩石圈地幔的消失。  相似文献

位于大兴安岭-太行山重力梯度带西侧的阳原新生代玄武岩中含有大量橄榄岩和辉石岩包体。辉石岩包体含有绿色的Cr辉石岩和黑色的Al辉石岩包体两种类型,均为二辉岩,且多数样品中单斜辉石含量高于斜方辉石。岩石结构和主微量元素组成说明阳原辉石岩是高压堆晶体。其EMI型Sr-Nd同位素特征,明显不同于寄主玄武岩,暗示两者没有成因联系,而可能代表古老岩浆事件的产物。综合文献资料发现重力梯度带西侧的辉石岩包体大多具有富集同位素特征,而东侧的样品以亏损同位素组成为主。这种空间上的成分差异暗示重力梯度带分隔两个不同的地幔域,也可能与重力梯度带两侧岩石圈地幔形成时代不同有关。  相似文献

苏鲁造山带中胡家林超镁铁质岩地块主要由两部分组成:南部滑石山以蛇纹岩和蛇纹石化橄榄岩为主,夹薄层状石榴橄辉岩-(石榴)单斜辉石岩;北部胡家林主要由(石榴)单斜辉石岩组成,夹厚层状蛇纹岩。蛇纹岩-蛇纹石化橄榄岩低Al2O3、低Ca O和高Mg O,REE含量低,但LREE稍富集。石榴橄辉岩和(石榴)单斜辉石岩低Mg O和Ca O,高REE含量高,其稀土配分曲线均表现出单斜辉石单矿物的配分特征。这些超镁铁岩块中不同岩石的微量元素均具有Pb的正异常,弱的Nb、Ta的负异常,显示地壳流体交代信息。Nd、Sr、Pb同位素特征显示存在亏损地幔与地壳之间的混合作用。亲石元素含量最低的蛇纹石化石榴橄辉岩的Sr、Nd、Pb同位素组成受交代流体控制明显,而石榴橄辉岩和(石榴)单斜辉石岩不明显。胡家林和滑石山超镁铁岩中所含的交代地壳成分不同,胡家林样品受到含水熔体和富水流体的双重交代,滑石山样品主要受富水流体的交代。  相似文献

新疆库地蛇绿岩中的变质橄榄岩具有呈网络状的二级粒序结构。第一级粒序由发育地幔塑性变形组构的粗粒橄榄石、斜方辉石及少量单斜辉石和尖晶石组成。第二级粒序由充填在第一级粒序颗粒之间的微粒矿物组成,在这种粒序中发现了四种含透闪石的矿物组合,它们是由残余地幔岩经过地幔交代作用和部分熔融作用形成的。同时还研究了铬铁矿中的矿物化学组成和成因。在此基础上,提出了上地幔岩初始熔体和部分熔融特征表述的设想  相似文献

Gamet-bearing high-temperature peridotite massifs in lower Austriawere exhumed during Carboniferous plate convergence in the Bohemianmassif. The peridotite massifs contain garnet pyroxenite layers,most of which are high-pressure cumulates that crystallizedin the deep lithosphere during ascent and cooling of hot asthenosphericmelts. Many of the pyroxenites have negative Eu anomalies andhigh LREE abundances in pyroxenes and bulk rocks, 87Sr/86Sr(335 Ma) as high as 0.7089, and Nd (335 Ma) as low as –4.8(leached clinopyroxenes and garnets). These pyroxenites alsoshow strong depletions in Rb, K, Ta, P and Ti compared withthe REE Equilibrium melt compositions calculated from the cumulatecompositions have very high LREE abundances (Lan = 300–600)and show strong LREEfractionation [(La/Sm)n = 7–47)].Trace element abundances, the Ca–Al-rich composition ofthe cumulates and possible Ti saturation in the melts suggestthat these melts were of primitive carbonatitic–meliliticor lamprophyrt-like composition. Other garnet pyroxenites suchas Al-rich garnet-kyanite clinopyroxemtes with positive Eu anomaliesprobably represent metamorphosed crustal rocks which were subductedand accreted to the lithospheric mantle. The high 87Sr/86Sr,low Nd (335 Ma) and negative Eu anomalies of the high-pressurecumulates can be explained if their equilibrium melts containeda component derived from subducted upper-crustal rocks. Thehigh equilibration pressures of the host peridotites (3–3.5GPa) and the high equilibration temperatures of the pyroxenites(1100–1400C) indicate that these melts are likely tobe derived from the sub-lithospheric mantle. There, meltingmay have been triggered by small amounts of melt or fluids derivedfrom a subducting slab at greater depth. 富铌玄武岩是一类具有特殊地球化学特征的岛弧玄武岩。与正常岛弧玄武岩相比,它具有硅饱和并富钠的特征;同时具有相对高的Nb(一般>7×10-6)、TiO2(1%~2%)和P含量,以及低的LILE/HFSE和HREE/HFSE比值,并富集高场强元素;它的原始地幔标准化微量元素图显示了弱的Nb、Ta负异常(有时出现弱的正异常),原始地幔标准化La/Nb比值小于2(但很少小于0.7),它是由受埃达克质熔体交代过的地幔橄榄岩部分熔融形成的。由于富铌玄武岩与埃达克岩是大洋板片俯冲作用的直接产物,因此,通过对该岩石组合及与俯冲作用有关的流体和熔体的研究,不仅可以查明洋壳俯冲作用过程中的岩浆活动特征,还可以阐明洋壳俯冲及壳幔相互作用,具十分重要的地质意义。  相似文献

山东五莲七宝山地区早白垩世的碱性侵入岩位于火山机构的中央部位,该岩体具有高Ba-Sr含量、高Nb/Ta和Zr/Hf比、低Ti/Eu比等特征,前人的研究指出其起源于岩石圈地幔。然而,该侵入体中的岩性与成分变化所反映的深部动力学过程尚未理清。本文对七宝山二长辉长岩和两类辉石二长岩开展了详细的矿物学和岩石地球化学研究,识别出钠质和钾质两类钾玄质岩石系列。该套碱性中基性侵入岩具有富碱、富轻稀土和富大离子亲石元素的特征,同时具有高的(La/Yb)N和(Gd/Yb)N值。碱性侵入岩中两类单斜辉石和两类斜长石作为再循环晶,记录了不同批次岩浆/熔体的混合,这些矿物组分和全岩成分共同约束了岩浆的起源与演化过程。结合前人的地球化学资料,本文指出七宝山碱性侵入岩的源区是曾受到沉积物交代的富集地幔,源区存在金云母脉体和角闪石脉体。上述脉体连同周围的地幔橄榄岩共同发生部分熔融,形成原生的碱性熔体。七宝山碱性侵入岩显示高的Nb/Ta和Zr/Hf比、低的Ti/Eu比,同时在微量元素蜘蛛图上呈现Ti*和Hf*的负异常,结合高稀土单斜辉石平衡熔体的属性,共同指示了碳酸盐熔体组分对该套碱性侵入岩的形成发挥了重要作用。钠质系列与钾质系列岩石反映了源区富碱矿物相类型相对贡献量的差异,即钠质为主的碱性岩反映源区角闪石的贡献更大,而钾质为主的碱性岩反映源区金云母的贡献占优势。此外,碱性侵入岩中的钾质系列具有异常高的Rb-Zr-Hf-U含量,很可能反映了源区在部分熔融过程中热液锆石熔解后形成的熔体加入到了钾质岩浆房内。本研究强调了碳酸盐熔体组分对高Nb/Ta碱性中基性的形成发挥着重要作用,亦强调了热液锆石的熔解加入导致岩浆具有高Zr-Hf-U含量的特征。  相似文献

The assembly of Late Neoproterozoice Cambrian supercontinent Gondwana involved prolonged subduction and accretion generating arc magmatic and accretionary complexes, culminating in collision and formation of high grade metamorphic orogens. Here we report evidence for mafic magmatism associated with post-collisional extension from a suite of gabbroic rocks in the Trivandrum Block of southern Indian Gondwana fragment. Our petrological and geochemical data on these gabbroic suite show that they are analogous to high Fe tholeiitic basalts with evolution of the parental melts dominantly controlled by fractional crystallization. They display enrichment of LILE and LREE and depletion of HFSE with negative anomalies at Zre Hf and Ti corresponding to subduction zone magmatic regime. The tectonic affinity of the gabbros coupled with their geochemical features endorse a heterogeneous mantle source with collective melt contributions from sub-slab asthenospheric mantle upwelling through slab break-off and arc-related metasomatized mantle wedge, with magma emplacement in subduction to post-collisional intraplate settings. The high Nb contents and positive Nbe Ta anomalies of the rocks are attributed to inflow of asthenospheric melts containing ancient recycled subducted slab components and/or fusion of subducted slab materials owing to upwelling of hot asthenosphere. Zircon grains from the gabbros show magmatic crystallization texture with low U and Pb content. The LA-ICPMS analyses show 206 Pb/238 U mean ages in the range of 507-494 Ma suggesting Cambrian mafic magmatism. The post-collisional mafic magmatism identified in our study provides new insights into mantle dynamics during the waning stage of the birth of a supercontinent.  相似文献

Late Quaternary volcanoes of Sredinny Range (Kamchatka) attract geoscientists’ attention by their unusual geochemical features and geodynamic setting. They produced volcanic rocks that are enriched relative to N-MORB in most of incompatible trace elements (except HREE), including strong enrichment in large-ion lithophile elements, and show a negative Nb–Ta anomaly, which is typical for rocks formed in supra-subduction settings. However, modern subduction of the Pacific Plate does not reach the most part of Sredinny Range, as inferred by mapping of Wadati–Benioff zone or seismic tomography. We constrain the source of parental magmas for Sredinny Range volcanic rocks by combining major and trace element geochemical data for olivine and naturally quenched olivine-hosed melt inclusions for Holocene tephra layers of the Kekuknaisky field. Composition of the most magnesian olivine (Ni > 2000 ppm, Fe/Mn ≈ 75 at Mg# ~ 84–85 mol %) and geochemical characteristics of the most primitive melts (FC3MS = 0.61 ± 0.04 (2s)) are consistent with their derivation from a pyroxenite source, while elevated LREE/HREE ratios in lavas indicate that it contained garnet. This garnet-bearing pyroxenite likely originated from the lower crust or lithospheric mantle. Its melting could have occurred due to delamination and sinking into the hotter mantle.  相似文献

本文对中国东南沿海不含幔源包体的中生代玄武岩和含幔源包体的新生代玄武岩进行了微量元素和Nd-Sr-Pb同位素对比研究。中生代玄武岩呈Ta、Nb和Hf负异常,低Ce/Pb、Nb/U比值和高La/Nb比值,与岛弧火山岩和陆壳岩石的微量元素特征相类似,说明在岩浆生成和上升过程中,幔源组分受到了陆壳组分的混染。新生代玄武岩呈Ta、Nb正异常和Pb负异常,高Ce/Pb、Nb/U比值和低La/Nb比值,与海岛玄武岩(OIB)相类似,Nd-Sr同位素成分与夏威夷玄武岩类似,因而它们未受明显的陆壳混染。143Nd/144Nd与206Pb/204Pb之间的负相关关系和87Sr/86Sr与206Pb/204Pb之间的正相关关系说明本区新生代玄武岩起源于中等亏损程度的软流圈地幔,并与EMII富集地幔组分发生了混合。  相似文献

We found fine-grained Fe-rich orthopyroxene-rich xenoliths (mainly orthopyroxenite) containing partially digested dunite fragments of Group I from Takashima, Southwest Japan. Orthopyroxenite veinlets, some of which contain plagioclase at the center, also replace olivine in dunite and wehrlite xenoliths of Group I. This shows high reactivity with respect to olivine of the melt involved in orthopyroxenite formation, indicating its high SiO2 activity. The secondary orthopyroxene of this type is characterized by low Mg# [= Mg/(Mg + total Fe) atomic ratio] (down to 0.73) and high Al2O3 contents (5–6 wt%). It is different in chemistry from other secondary orthopyroxenes found in peridotite xenoliths derived from the mantle wedge. Clinopyroxenes in the Fe-rich orthopyroxenite show a convex-upward REE pattern with a crest around Sm. This pattern is strikingly similar to that of clinopyroxenes of Group II pyroxenite xenoliths and of phenocrystal and xenocrystal clinopyroxenes, indicating involvement of similar alkali basaltic melts. The Fe-rich orthopyroxenite xenoliths from Takashima formed by reaction between evolved alkali basalt melt and mantle olivine; alkali basalt initially slightly undersaturated in silica might have evolved to silica-oversaturated compositions by fractional crystallization at high-pressure conditions. The Fe-rich orthopyroxenites occur as dikes within the uppermost mantle composed of dunite and wehrlite overlying pockets of Group II pyroxenites. The orthopyroxene-rich pyroxenites of this type are possibly common in the uppermost mantle beneath continental rift zones where alkali basalt magmas have been prevalent.  相似文献

Compared to other mafic and ultramafic rocks from the CCSD main borehole as well as from the outcrops, rocks from the 540-600 m section is extraordinary in terms of its geophysical as well as geochemical properties. It consists of > 70% hematite-ilmenite garnet pyroxenite (HI-GPX) and < 30% intercalated rutile garnet pyroxenite (R-GPX). Whole-rock geochemical data show that HI-GPXs have: (1) relatively high V with an average of 606 ppm, but lower Nb and Ta; (2) highest TFeO, Fe2O3/FeO ratio, and highly variable but strong positive Eu anomalies with Eu/Eu? up to 2.9; (3) anomalously high V/Sc ratios ranging from 8.39 to 43.23, average 15.03; and (4) high amounts of hematite-ilmenite solid solutions with a very fine intergrowth structure down to nanometer scale. V/Sc ratios in the CCSD garnet pyroxenites are correlated negatively with MgO, but positively with Fe2O3/FeO ratios. Both suites of pyroxenites have similar rare earth elements and high field strength elements geochemistry. These features demonstrate that these pyroxenites were formed from metamorphism of high-Fe and/or -Ti gabbroic cumulates. This can account not only for low high field strength elements (HFSE) and rare earth elements (REE) but also low Nb/Ta and Zr/Hf ratios in these rocks. Seemingly negative correlation between Nb/Ta and Zr/Hf in the CCSD metabasites, not significantly affected by UHP metamorphism, is also consistent with the silicate differentiation trend in a basaltic magma chamber.  相似文献

Whole rock major and trace element compositions of seven eclogites from the Tso Morari ultra-high pressure(UHP) complex, Ladakh were determined with the aim of constraining the protolith origins of the subducted crust. The eclogites have major element compositions corresponding to sub-alkaline basalts. Trace element characteristics of the samples show enrichment in LILE's over HFSEs(Rb, Th, K except Ba) with LREE enrichments((La/Lu)n = 1.28-5.96). Absence of Eu anomaly on the Primitive Mantle normalized diagram suggests the absence of plagioclase fractionation. Positive correlation between Mg# with Ni and Cr suggests olivine fractionation of mantle melts. Narrow range of(La/Yb)n(2.1-9.4) and Ce/Yb(6.2-16.2) along with Ti/Y(435-735) ratios calculated for the Tso Morari samples is consistent with generation of melts by partial melting of a garnet free mantle source within the spinel peridotite field. Ternary diagrams(viz. Ti-Zr-Y and Nb-Zr-Y) using immobile and incompatible elements show that the samples range from depleted to enriched and span from within plate basalts(WPB)to enriched MORB(E-MORB) indicating that the eclogite protoliths originated from basaltic magmas.Primitive Mantle normalized multi element plots showing significant Th and LREE enrichment marked by negative Nb anomalies are characteristic of continental flood basalts. Positive Pb, negative Nb, high Th/Ta, a narrow range of Nb/La and the observed wide variation for Ti/Y indicate that the Tso Morari samples have undergone some level of crustal contamination. Observed geochemical characteristics of the Tso Morari samples indicate tholeiitic compositions originated from enriched MORB(E-MORB) type magmas which underwent a limited magmatic evolution through the process of fractional crystallization and probably more by crustal contamination. Observed geochemical similarities(viz. Zr, Nb, La/Yb, La/Gd,La/Nb, Th/Ta ratios and REE) between Tso Morari eclogites and the Group I Panjal Traps make the trap basalt the most likely protoliths for the Tso Morari eclogites.  相似文献
