This is the first of a series of papers giving the solution of the inverse problem in seismic exploration. The acoustic approximation is used together with the assumption that the velocity field has the form . The forward problem is then linearized (thus neglecting multiple reflected waves) and the inverse problem of estimating δ is set up. Its rigorous solution can be obtained using an iterative algorithm, each step consisting of a classical Kirchhoff migration (hyperbola summation) plus a classical forward modeling step (circle summation).  相似文献

The dynamic inversion of reflection seismic data is investigated with reference to the influence of noise on pseudo-impedance logs. Model traces are calculated with 0, 5, 15 and 50% noise, respectively. In solving the inversion problem, the algorithm of Marquardt and Levenberg is used in connection with singular value decomposition (SVD). The results are within a 1% error range so that there was no visible change in the logs. Further signal analysis show that there is no dependence on the phase content of the wavelet used if all other parameters of the model are known.  相似文献

An iterative inversion method which also takes into account wave energy absorption is described. This method allows estimates of the acoustic impedance in sedimentary layers with nearly plane and parallel stratification. A set of reflection data has been inverted and an impedance model was obtained which correlates well with the essential features of the borehole velocity log.  相似文献

Three methods for least-squares inversion of receiver array-filtered seismic data are investigated: (1) point receiver inversion where array effects are neglected; (2) preprocessing of the data with an inverse array filter, followed by point receiver inversion; (3) array inversion, where the array effects are included in the forward modelling. The methods are tested on synthetic data generated using the acoustic wave equation and a horizontally stratified earth model. It is assumed that the group length and the group interval are identical. For arrays that are shorter than the minimum wavelength of the emitted wavefield, and when the data are appropriately muted, point receiver inversion (first method) gives satisfactory results. For longer arrays, array inversion (third method) should be used. The failure of the inverse array filter (second method) is due to aliasing problems in the data.  相似文献

Lateral inhomogeneities generate fluctuations in the traveltime of seismic waves. By evaluation of these traveltime fluctuations from different source and receiver positions, lateral inhomogeneities can be located using a pseudo inverse matrix method (Aki, Christoffersson and Husebye 1977). The formulation of the problem is possible for transmitted waves as well as for reflected and refracted waves. In reflection seismics this method is of importance, if no reflections from the inhomogeneities themselves, but only reflections from lower boundaries can be observed. The basic assumptions for the mathematical formulation are (1) the average velocities and depths of the reflecting horizons are known already from standard processing methods, and (2) the traveltime residuals are due to lateral velocity changes between different reflectors or between reflectors and the surface. The area of the earth to be considered is divided into layers and the layers into rectangular blocks. The parallel displacement of a ray after passing a disturbed block is neglected, only the traveltime residual is taken into account. In this paper the method and its application to data obtained with two-dimensional models are described.  相似文献

Model-based inversion of seismic reflection data is a global optimization problem when prior information is sparse. We investigate the use of an efficient, global, stochastic optimization method, that of simulated annealing, for determining the two-way traveltimes and the reflection coefficients. We exploit the advantage of an ensemble approach to the inversion of full-scale target zones on 2D seismic sections. In our ensemble approach, several copies of the model-algorithm system are run in parallel. In this way, estimation of true ensemble statistics for the process is made possible, and improved annealing schedules can be produced. It is shown that the method can produce reliable results efficiently in the 2D case, even when prior information is sparse.  相似文献

给出了利用反射波走时重建地壳三维界面的方法 ,并处理了华北地区人工地震测深测线网中的PmP走时资料 ,获得了研究区莫霍界面的三维构造形态 ,确定了壳内深断裂的展布。结果表明 ,研究区莫霍界面埋深整体上由东南向西北加深 ,并在这一背景之上呈现波浪起伏 ,断陷盆地对应上地幔的隆起 ;区内存在数条延伸至莫霍面的地壳深断裂 ,其中大致沿北东走向展布的地壳厚度陡变带和沿北西西向的地壳厚度变异带是区内两条主要的深部构造带。将研究结果与本区中、强地震空间分布特征相结合 ,揭示了地震活动的深部构造背景  相似文献

The moveout of P-SV mode-converted seismic reflection events in a common-midpoint gather is non-hyperbolic. This is true even if the medium has constant P- and SV-wave velocities. Furthermore, reflection-point smear occurs even along horizontal reflectors. These effects reduce the resolution of the zero-offset stack. In such a medium, the generalization of the dip moveout transformation to P-SV data can be calculated analytically. The resulting P-SV dip moveout operators solve the problem of reflection-point smear, and image any reflector regardless of dip or depth. The viability of this technique is demonstrated on synthetic and field data.  相似文献

The one-dimensional seismic inverse problem consists of recovering the acoustic impedance (or reflectivity function) as a function of traveltime from the reflection response of a horizontally layered medium excited by a plane-wave impulsive source. Most seismic sources behave like point sources, and the data must be corrected for geometrical spreading before the inversion procedure is applied. This correction is usually not exact because the geometrical spreading is different for primary and multiple reflections. An improved algorithm is proposed which takes the geometrical spreading from a point source into account. The zero-offset reflection response from a stack of homogeneous layers of variable thickness is used to compute the thickness, velocity and density of each layer. This is possible because the geometrical spreading contains additional information about the velocities.  相似文献

为了更好地利用地震测深波形数据,提出了地震体波波形反演的遗传算法. 正演使用能精确快速计算互层结构响应的广义反、透射系数理论地震图算法;反演采用遗传算法,实现了地震体波波形反演的遗传算法. 数值试验表明,该算法具有分辨壳内低速层、高低速薄互层结构和一定的抗噪能力. 青藏高原东北缘泽库、夏河、临洮3炮地震测深P波波形反演,得到了上地壳底部低速层和中、下地壳,以及上地幔顶部薄互层的细结构图象.   相似文献

根据倾斜断层走滑、倾滑及拉张运动产生的地表位移计算公式,利用Harris和Segall的反演方法,建立了倾斜断层具多个滑动分量的反演模型,编制了相应的计算机程序,实现了利用大地测量资料反演计算不同产状断层深部不同运动方向的滑动速率或滑动量。并以北京地区两条主要活动断层为例进行了计算,获得结果与北京地区区域应力场及断层应力场具有较好的一致性  相似文献

The main problem in seismic prospecting is to infer from the observed reflection response the distribution of density and seismic velocity with depth. This process is generally called the inversion of the reflection data. For plane waves propagating through plane parallel stratification, it can be shown that at any depth the ratio between the amplitude of the transmitted and reflected wave satisfies the Riccati equation. Based on this equation we have formulated an iterative inversion method, which is found to be suitable for numerical computations. We have applied this method on synthetic reflection data, and found that it provides a very fast and accurate inversion.  相似文献

应用一种同时获得地壳上地幔二维速度结构和界面形态的地震走时反演算法,对在长白山天池火山区L1剖面获得的人工地震折射和宽角反射走时数据进行反演,得到了该剖面的地壳上地幔二维速度结构和构造.结果表明:长白山天池火山口下方中下地壳存在一倒三角状的低速体,壳内反射界面和莫霍面一致呈下凹形态,幅度2~6km不等,形成一个地壳根,推测是长白山天池火山系统.最后将所得结果与SEIS83正演试错模拟结果进行了比较.  相似文献

The estimation of velocity and depth is an important stage in seismic data processing and interpretation. We present a method for velocity-depth model estimation from unstacked data. This method is formulated as an iterative algorithm producing a model which maximizes some measure of coherency computed along traveltimes generated by tracing rays through the model. In the model the interfaces are represented as cubic splines and it is assumed that the velocity in each layer is constant. The inversion includes the determination of the velocities in all the layers and the location of the spline knots. The process input consists of unstacked seismic data and an initial velocity-depth model. This model is often based on nearby well information and an interpretation of the stacked section. Inversion is performed iteratively layer after layer; during each iteration synthetic travel-time curves are calculated for the interface under consideration. A functional characterizing the main correlation properties of the wavefield is then formed along the synthetic arrival times. It is assumed that the functional reaches a maximum value when the synthetic arrival time curves match the arrival times of the events on the field gathers. The maximum value of the functional is obtained by an effective algorithm of non-linear programming. The present inversion algorithm has the advantages that event picking on the unstacked data is not required and is not based on curve fitting of hyperbolic approximations of the arrival times. The method has been successfully applied to both synthetic and field data.  相似文献

Directional deconvolution of the signature from a marine seismic source array may be achieved in combination with prestack migration or dip moveout (DMO) processing. The benefit is demonstrated using an example profile from the southern North Sea. In particular, shallow, dipping reflectors have improved continuity and frequency content. The method could be extended to 3D data to remove both in-line and cross-line directivity effects.  相似文献

应用地震资料约束下大地电磁资料反演古潜山或基底内部结构的新方法. 首先利用地震及井资料,反演得到古潜山或基底之上各层的厚度及电阻率,建立了古潜山或基底以上的地电模型;并利用大地电磁一维反演资料,建立了古潜山或基底及其以下的地电模型. 在初始模型建立的基础上,应用高效快速的二维大地电磁正演算法——模式匹配方法,进行正演计算. 利用共扼梯度迭代方法,进行正反演迭代计算. 通过对胜利油田南北618剖面反演, 基底以下在地震资料没有显示的构造信息,在反演结果中得到了较好地反映.  相似文献
