针对半潜式平台的立柱群和沉箱群,设计了两套独立的载荷测量系统,利用大型重力式密度分层水槽,在不同来波方向下对孤立波中半潜式平台载荷进行了系列模型试验。研究表明,对平台立柱部分,其内孤立波载荷可以用Morison公式进行计算,基于试验结果建立了Morison公式中其拖曳力系数以及惯性力系数的经验公式;对于半潜式平台的沉箱部分,当来波方向与其中纵剖面不平行时,其水平内孤立波载荷同样可以使用Morison公式进行计算,并建立了Morison公式中其拖曳力系数以及惯性力系数的经验公式;当来波方向与半潜式平台中纵剖面平行时,沉箱群的水平内孤立波载荷可以采用Froude-Krylov公式进行计算;同时,在不同来波方向下沉箱群的垂向载荷同样可以采用Froude-Krylov公式进行计算。  相似文献

- In this paper, an engineering method is employed to calculate the horizontal and vertical wave forces on the mat of the submersible platform under Froude-Krylov hypothesis. According to some model tests, appropriate diffraction coefficients are selected. And the results of the formulae given in the paper agree satisfactorily with those experimental data now available. The proposed computational method is effective and convenient to use in evaluating the horizontal and vertical wave forces on the mat. An exmaple is also given in this paper. Finally, the effects of the vertical wave force on the platorm's sit-on-bottom stability are analyzed.  相似文献

The 1:50 scale model of a big offshore gravity platform was placed off the beach at Reggio-Calabria, where the wind waves typically have significant height ranging from 0.20 to 0.40 m and peak period from 1.8 to 2.6 sec. A first set of pressure transducers was assembled at the boundary of the platform and a second set, with the same configuration as the first one, was assembled in the undisturbed wave field, in order to compare the force amplitude on the platform to the force amplitude on an ideal equivalent mass of water (Froude-Krylov force amplitude). Along with the pressure transducers, a few wave gauges were functioning in the undisturbed wave field. It was found that the time histories of the pressure induced by the highest waves, at the columns and at the platform base, were very similar to the measured covariances of the pressure fluctuations. The statistical distribution of the forces on the platform proved to be coincident with the statistical distribution of the Froude-Krylov forces. The spectrum of the force process proved always to be narrow even in the case of the broad wave spectrum. The diffraction coefficient (ratio of the actual force amplitude to the Froude-Krylov force amplitude) was found to depend essentially on a marked reduction of the propagation speed of the pressure head waves, both at the columns and at the platform base.  相似文献

CFD and system-based simulation are used to predict broaching, surf-riding, and periodic motion for the ONR Tumblehome model, including captive and free model test validation studies. CFD shows close agreement with EFD for calm water resistance, static heel (except for sway force and yaw moment), and static drift (except for roll moment). CFD predictions of static heel in following waves also compare well with EFD except for surge force, sway force, and pitch angle. Froude-Krylov calculations of wave-induced surge force in following waves provides good agreement for high Froude number, but significantly overestimates for Froude number less than 0.2. On the other hand, CFD successfully reproduces the reduction of the wave-induced surge force near Froude number 0.2, probably because CFD can capture the 3D wave pattern. CFD free model simulations are performed for several speeds and headings and validated for the first time for surf-riding, broaching, and periodic motions. System-based simulations are carried out based on inputs from EFD, CFD, and Froude-Krylov for a dense grid of speeds and headings to predict the instability map, which were found to produce fairly similar results.  相似文献

Two numerical simulation models to predict large-amplitude motions of floating platforms are presented. The first method is based on the application of the relative-velocity formulation of Morison's equation for force calculations. The second method developed in this work uses the three-dimensional potential theory in time domain. In this method, both the Froude-Krylov and scattering forces are calculated by considering finite wave amplitude effects in random waves. The effect of various nonlinearities on the low-frequency motions and high-frequency tether-tension response of a tension leg platform are studied using these simulation models in conjunction with power spectral methods. The presence of current and the nonlinear drag force are observed to have a significant effect on the low-frequency motions and tether tensions.  相似文献

The hydrodynamic interaction between an Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) manoeuvring in close proximity to a larger underwater vehicle can cause rapid changes in the motion of the AUV. This interaction can lead to mission failure and possible vehicle collision. Being self-piloted and comparatively small, an AUV is more susceptible to these interaction effects than the larger body. In an aim to predict the manoeuvring performance of an AUV under the effects of the interaction, the Australian Maritime College (AMC) has conducted a series of computer simulations and captive model experiments. A numerical model was developed to simulate pure sway motion of an AUV at different lateral and longitudinal positions relative to a larger underwater vehicle using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFDs). The variables investigated include the surge force, sway force and the yaw moment coefficients acting on the AUV due to interaction effects, which were in turn validated against experimental results. A simplified method is presented to obtain the hydrodynamic coefficients of an AUV when operating close to a larger underwater body by transforming the single body hydrodynamic coefficients of the AUV using the steady-state interaction forces. This method is considerably less time consuming than traditional methods. Furthermore, the inverse of this method (i.e. to obtain the steady state interaction force) is also presented to obtain the steady-state interaction force at multiple lateral separations efficiently. Both the CFD model and the simplified methods have been validated against the experimental data and are capable of providing adequate interaction predictions. Such methods are critical for accurate prediction of vehicle performance under varying conditions present in real life.  相似文献

The relationship between the depth and trail attained by a towed submerged vehicle and the magnitude and direction of the forces on it has been examined theoretically, for cases involving faired cables.It is shown that when the body force is varied the body in equilibrium moves on an almost circular path as if the cable were straight, and that depth changes depend primarily upon the change in the component of the body force that acts at right angles to the line joining the top and bottom of the cable.Examples are given which demonstrate that for bodies towed at large depression angles the use of water brakes is more effective in changing depth than the use of lifting wings.The data is presented so that a rapid preliminary assessment can be made of any proposed system to obtain the best combination of speed and scope for achieving a given depth with a body having known lift and drag coefficients.  相似文献

This paper reports on 3D time domain seakeeping computations at different level of modeling of nonlinear effects. Four successively improved levels of computations are considered: (i) a linear computation, (ii) Froude-Krylov nonlinear computation, (iii) body nonlinear computation where the perturbation potential is computed based on the instantaneous hull under the mean free-surface, and finally (iv) the body-exact nonlinear computation, where the perturbation potential is determined based on the wetted hull under the incident wave profile after suitable mapping of the hull into a computational domain. Computations are carried out for a Wigley hull (having less ‘geometric’ nonlinearity due to vertical sides), and a S175 hull at different forward speeds. The results are obtained for both regular and irregular waves.  相似文献

This work presents two-dimensional numerical results of the dependence of wave forces of multiple floating bodies in close proximity on the incident wave frequency, gap width, body draft, body breadth and body number based on both viscous fluid and potential flow models. The numerical models were validated by the available experimental data of fluid oscillation in narrow gaps. Numerical investigations show that the large amplitude responses of horizontal and vertical wave forces appear around the fluid resonant frequencies. The convectional potential flow model is observed to un-physically overestimate the magnitudes of wave forces as the fluid resonance takes place. By introducing artificial damping term with appropriate damping coefficients μ∈[0.4, 0.5], the potential flow model may work as well as the viscous fluid model, which agree with the damping coefficients used in our previous work for the predication of wave height under gap resonance. In addition, the numerical results of viscous fluid model suggest that the horizontal wave force is highly dependent on the water level difference between the opposite sides of an individual body and the overall horizontal wave force on the floating system is generally smaller than the summation of wave force on each body.  相似文献

A low-order singularity panel method based on Green's formulation is used to predict the hydrodynamics characteristics of underwater vehicles. The low-order modeling employs constant strength sources and doublets, and the body surface is modeled by quadrilaterals. The method is first applied to predicting the force and moment coefficients of underwater vehicles for the body-alone and finned configurations. Hydrodynamic coefficients of added mass and added moment of inertia are also calculated by modifying the code. Results for several two and three-dimensional bodies show the usefulness of the method for predicting the added mass and added moment of inertia.  相似文献

为研究规则波中船舶复原力变化规律及其对参数横摇的影响,首先,基于切片理论求解出船舶无横倾时在波浪中时间序列垂荡和纵摇运动,确定出波面与船体的相对位置;其次,利用三个坐标系之间的转换关系进而确定规则波中船体各横剖面左右舷与波面瞬时交点,求得各浸水剖面面积;然后对波浪压力沿船长湿表面积分,得出规则波中船舶复原力的Froude-Krylov部分。同时,利用作用在横倾船舶上的辐射力和绕射力,求出规则波中船舶复原力辐射力和绕射力部分。在复原力计算的基础上,确定一个参数横摇模型,实现波浪中参数横摇计算。以一艘集装箱船为例,研究了规则波中复原力变化以及参数横摇规律,复原力变化幅度是影响参数横摇的一个重要因素。  相似文献

A long submerged horizontal circular cylinder of .90 m diameter was assembled off the beach at Reggio Calabria where the wind waves typically have significant height ranging within 0.20 and 0.40 m and dominant period within 1.8 and 2.6 s. Three ultrasonic probes recorded the waves, and two sets of pressure transducers, the first one at the cylinder and the second one in the undisturbed wave field, enabled to compare the force amplitude on the cylinder to the force amplitude on an equivalent mass of water in the undisturbed wave field (Froude-Krylov F-K force). After ten days of measurements, the experiment was repeated with a cylinder of .45 m diameter. The Keulegan-Carpenter number was within 2.5, and the wave forces proved to be inertial. The following general features emerged: (i) the force spectrum is usually very narrow even if the wave spectrum is broad; (ii) the vertical diffraction coefficient is somewhat smaller than the horizontal diffraction coefficient; (iii) the positive extremes of Fz (vertical force referred to the buoyancy force) markedly exceed the negative extremes; (iv) the pressure fluctuations induced by the highest waves at the cylinder are very similar to the measured pressure-surface displacement covariances. In each of the 580 records obtained in the course of the experiment it was found that the propagation speed reduces to about a half at the cylinder, and the amplitude of the pressure fluctuations increases of 10–15% at the upper half of the cylinder and decreases of about the same percentage at the lower half. These phenomena fully explain why the force amplitude on the cylinder is larger than the F-K force amplitude.  相似文献

Laboratory experiments are performed in a large stratified fluid flume to examine the characteristics of the load on a submerged slender body that is exerted by a nonstationary internal solitary wave (ISW) from its interaction with a gentle slope. The nonstationary ISW over the slope and its load on the body are measured by using multi-channel conductivity-probe arrays and a specially designed force measurement device, respectively, and the body’s vertical and horizontal positions on the load are determined by analyzing the effects of the incident ISW’s amplitude. The experimental results show that the load on the slender body increases as the incident ISW’s amplitude increases; additionally, the effect of oscillations is enhanced because of the ISW’s distortion, breaking and fission. The oscillating action from fission waves becomes dominant as the amplitude reaches a certain value. Additionally, the load is correlated with body’s vertical position relative to the pycnocline. The magnitudes of the vertical and horizontal forces reach a maximum and minimum in the pycnocline, respectively, and the horizontal force in this direction is the opposite above and below the pycnocline. Compared to a case without a slope, the load on the slender body increases because of the nonstationary ISW, and its effect on the maximum force is transferred to the pycnocline. When the body’s horizontal position is located close to the top of the slope, the direction of the horizontal and vertical forces remains consistent, but its acting time becomes longer. In addition, high-frequency actions on the slender body are impacted by nonstationary ISWs near the slope’s top.  相似文献

The system with one floating rectangular body on the free surface and one submerged rectangular body has been applied to a wave energy conversion device in water of finite depth. The radiation problem by this device on a plane incident wave is solved by the use of an eigenfunction expansion method, and a new analytical expression for the radiation velocity potential is obtained. The wave excitation force is calculated via the known incident wave potential and the radiation potential with a theorem of Haskind employed. To verify the correctness of this method, an example is computed respectively through the bound element method and analytical method. Results show that two numerical methods. are in good agreement, which shows that the present method is applicable. In addition, the trends of hydrodynamic coefficients and wave force are analyzed under different conditions by use of the present analytical method.  相似文献

Forces induced by regular waves on submarine pipelines resting on as well as near a plane boundary and aligned parallel to wave fronts of the oncoming waves are investigated experimentally. The inline hydrodynamic coefficients of drag and inertia are evaluated through the use of Morison equation and the least squares method. The transverse force is analysed in terms of maximum transverse force and transverse root mean square (r.m.s.) coefficients. The resulting inline and transverse hydrodynamic coefficients are correlated with the period parameter or Keulegan-Carpenter number and relative clearance of the pipeline from the plane boundary. The effect of depth parameter on these coefficients and the correlation between maximum transverse force and transverse r.m.s. coefficients are also reported.  相似文献

月池内流体存在活塞和晃荡两类振荡现象。基于线性势流理论,推导了波浪斜向入射下,直墙前矩形月池辐射和绕射问题的解析解。通过分离变量法和特征函数展开法求解了速度势函数,根据边界条件来确定速度势函数中的未知系数,由速度势函数计算斜向波与矩形月池相互作用的水动力系数和波浪激励力,对它们的变化规律进行了分析讨论,研究了底部开口大小、波浪入射角度对矩形月池水动力特性的影响以及直墙远近对波浪力的影响。结果表明,月池底部开口大小对流体水平作用的影响较小,而对流体垂直作用的影响较大;波浪入射角度的变化对矩形月池横荡和横摇运动时的水动力特性有一定的影响;在一定条件下,直墙的存在会使得月池在水平方向所受到的波浪力比开敞水域中的要大。  相似文献

Based on the linear wave theory and model experiment results, the wave-current force coefficients for isolated pile are investigated, using Morison's formula to calculate the wave-current force. A formula is'presented for determining the relative coefficients of the drag, in which the feature value of the wave-current field is. proposed and used as an important parameter. According to the maximum wave-current force measured in the experiment, the coefficients of the drag force and inertia force are determined by statistical method of two-variable regression so that both of them are fitted in optimum.  相似文献

Wave forces acting on submerged circular cylinders moving forward with a constant velocity in regular waves are investigated experimentally. Hydrodynamic forces acting on the cylinder forced to surge in a steady are also measured and hydrodynamic coefficients were obtained. Wave force coefficients obtained from wave force measurements are compared with the hydrodynamic coefficients from surging tests, and the similarity and difference between them are discussed. Experiments show that these coefficients are quite different from those of the cylinder without a forward velocity.  相似文献

A solution is presented for the wave induced drift forces acting on a submerged sphere in a finite water depth based on linearised velocity potential theory. In order to obtain the velocity potential, use has been made of multipole expansions in terms of an infinite series of Legendre functions with unknown coefficients. The series expression for the second order mean forces (drift forces) is provided by integrating the fluid pressure over the body surface. The horizontal drift force is also expressed by a series solution obtained using the far-field method.  相似文献
