In this paper I present a new evolution model of QSOs luminosity. The model is based on edges distribution of apparent magnitude-redshift of QSOs. After the quasars were formed, the luminosities were increasing until they attained their maximum value atz=2+a, where –0.1a0.6, then the luminosities were decreasing. If the QSOs originate from superconducting cosmic string of same initial massM i 1012 M , the formation epochs are different, most of the quasars start atz cutoff5.6. The most luminous QSOs start at later epochz cutoff5.15. The present sky survey echniques may give us the possibility to see the formation of QSOs at apparent magnitudem V 22.5 by chance of 0.3%.  相似文献

With the aid of a simple black hole model of quasars we have found that the majority of the distinguishable emission lines in the spectrum of the quasar 1604+179 can be assigned to two redshift systems,z r =3.712 andz b =2.701. The appearance of double emission redshifts means that this quasar might be a massive black hole (of mass 108 M M1011 M ) with a ring-like emission line region (of radius 1 light-day r 01 light-year) in its accretion disk.  相似文献

An approximate analytical method of solving the polytropic equilibrium equations, first developed by Seidov and Kuzakhmedov (1978), has been extended and generalized to equilibrium configurations of axisymmetric systems in rigid rotation, with polytropic index,n =n p + n , nearn p =0, 1, and 5. Though the details of the method depend on the value ofn p , acceptable results are obtained for | n | 0.5 to describe slowly rotating configurations in the range 0n1.5, 4.5n5. In the limit of rotational equilibrium configurations, when the distorsion may be large enough, a satisfactory approximation holds only in the range 0n, 1n1.5, 4.5n5.  相似文献

Hydrodynamic simulations of nonlinear pulsation for less-massive cool supergiants have been performed by several authors. Outburst of large amplitude oscillations at times is one of common features of these models. To find out routes of the transition from the limit cycles to the irregular pulsations. We performed hydrodynamic simulation for a series of models of luminosity log(L/L )=3.505, andT e =5300 K with the range of the mass 1.4M M1.5M . With decreasing the mass, we confirm a transition from limit cycles to irregular oscillations. The nature of the transition is finally specified by examining the dissipation of pulsational kinetic energies in limit cycle models, when pulsations start with larger amplitudes than their limiting pulsations. We find that the rates of dissipation are so small that they might be marginally stable. Furthermore, the oscillation starting with even larger amplitudes gets the kinetic energies until it reaches a limit where the oscillation induces strong shock waves and dissipates its kinetic energy. Thus, we conclude that the model which has the stable limit cycle near the transition has another unstable fixed point above the limit cycle. The transition, therefore, is induced by disappearance of these two fixed points, as the mass, the control parameter in our case, is varied, and is found exactly in aggreement with the intermittency proposed by Pomeau and Manneville as a route to chaos in dissipative systems.  相似文献

Two sets of accurate approximate expressions for the gyrosynchrotron radiation in the transverse propagation case are presented for the first time. They contain emissivity /BNand absorptivity B/Nfor e-mode, effective temperature T effand frequency of peak brightness p. The expressions are designed for the range 2 to 7 of electron energy spectral index and for the ranges from 2 to 10 and 10 to 100 of harmonic numbers s(=/B). Their statistical error is, respectively, ±18% and ±29% for /BNand B/Nfor 10/B100, ±128% and and ±170% for 2/B10.  相似文献

The initial discovery of soft X-rays from Nova Muscae 1983 was followed by eight additional observations of the three brightest novae whose outburst stage coincided with the lifetime ofEXOSAT satellite; namely three more observations of Nova Muscae 1983, three observations of Nova Vulpeculae 1984#1 (PW Vul), and two observations of Nova Vulpeculae 1984#2. Through these observations we sampled the soft X-ray light curve of classical novae from optical maximum to 900 days after. The observations seem best explained by the constant bolometric luminosity model of a hot white dwarf remnant. Although the measurements suffer from limited statistics, very broad energy bandpass, and incomplete sampling of any single nova, their constraints on the theories of nova outburst are significant. One constraint is that the lifetime of the white dwarf remnant in Nova Muscae 1983 is 2 to 3 years, which leads to the conclusion that the burned envelope massM burn should be of the order of . The second constraint is that the maximum temperature, of the white dwarf remnant should approximately be within 200 000 K to 400 000 K. We estimate that a white dwarf remnant evolving like the central star of a planetary nebula, with core mass of 0.8 to 0.9M , core luminosity of 2×104 L , and envelope mass of 10–6 M , can explain the general characteristics of the X-ray measurements for Nova Muscae 1983. In order to have 1.1M core mass, estimated from the early observations of bolometric luminosity in the UV to infrared range, a wind withM5×10–7 M yr–1 appears to be necessary. The few observations of Nova Vulpeculae 1984 #1 and Nova Vulpeculae 1984#2, during the first year after outburst, give a risetime and intensity that is consistent with a constant bolometric luminosity model.Paper presented at the IAU Colloquium No. 93 on Cataclysmic Variables. Low-mass strange stars with a crust are investigated within the framework of the bag model. The crust, which consists of degenerate electrons and atomic nuclei, has a limiting boundary density cr , which is determined by the mass of the crust, and it cannot exceed the value drip = 4.3·1011 g/cm3, corresponding to the density at which neutrons drip from nuclei. For different values of cr in the low-mass range (M 0.1 M) we calculate several series of configurations: we find the dependence of the stellar mass M on the central density c for cr = const, with 109 g/cm3 cr drip , and for each series we determine the parameters of the configuration for which the condition dM/d c > 0 is violated. When the boundary density of the crust decreases to 109 g/cm3, the minimum mass of a strange star decreases to M min 10-3 M, while the radius reaches 600 km.  相似文献

The contribution to the galactic abundance of He and heavy elements by stellar nucleosynthesis is calculated as a function of time, keeping account of present knowledge about stellar and galactic evolution. A model is used which distinguishes the phase of the contracting halo from the subsequent history of the disc. Various uncertainties involved both in stellar and in galactic evolutionary theory are discussed. The amount of4He produced by stars of different masses and ejected in interstellar medium is fairly well known from stellar theory, while we have assumed its primordial abundance as a free parameter, ranging from 0 up to 0.4. We find that stellar activity provides a significant contribution to the cosmic4He, though not sufficient to explain the observed abundance. The best agreement with observational data (Y 0.26 andY now0.28) is obtained starting with a primordial abundanceY =(0.20–0.23), which is consisten with the Big-Bang theory predictions and with recent observational estimates. The contribution to the abundance of heavy elements depends on the last stellar stages and on the final explosion mechanism, which are only now beginning to be understood. Nevertheless, in the framework of present theories, we individuate a stellar evolutionary scheme reproducing the observedZ abundances for Populationi and Populationii stars, with the correctly estimated Y/Z value. In this scheme, only stars belonging to two narrow mass ranges (10m/m 15 andm/m 80) are allowed to eject metal-enriched matter, possibly with the solar (C+O)/(Si+Fe) ratio.  相似文献

In this paper we calculate the number of close binaries formed during the evolution process of a globular cluster core. The globular cluster core is assumed to contain a massive black hole at its center. We show that the central black hole can drive binaries formation in the core and the rate of binaries formation depends on the mass of the black hole at its center. When the massM of the black hole is between 102 M and 3×103 M , there will be a few binaries formed. When the mass of the black hole is 4×103 M M6×103 M , the number of binary star formation will suddenly increase with a jump to the maximum value 58. When the mass of the black hole is 7×103 M M9×103 M , the number of binary star will immediately decrease. Whether cluster X-ray is produced mainly by the central black hole or by binaries in the core depends on the mass of the central black hole. Therefore, two cases arise: namely, black hole accretion domination and binaries radiation domination. We do think that we cannot exclude the possibility of the existence of a central black hole even when binary radiation characteristics have been observed in globular cluster X-ray sources.  相似文献

The contact binary system CC Com (=12h09m33s.8, =+22°4339, (1950);V max=11.31, (B-V)max=1.24) is a W UMa-type system with the shortest known period. The photometric solution of CC Com is presented using the Wilson and Devinney method. The results show that the CC Com belongs to the late-type eclipsing binary with the spectral type K5V and K6V, low temperatureT 1=4300 K,T 2=4265 K, the mass ratioq=0.5873±0.0021, and the inclinationi=87°.719±1°.44. The best regions of the gravity darkening exponents , the bolomotric albedov, and the limb-darkening coefficients are tested. It is found that 0.1250.065, 0.1v0.5, =0.5 are better regions for CC Com. The third body ofl 3 is not found to be significant. The results are combined with the spectroscopic results of Rucinski to provide an estimate of the absolute parameters.  相似文献

The physical conditions under which suprathermal grains can be produced when they are accelerated by radiation pressure against the drag of ambient gas are investigated. It is found that dust grains may attain a terminal velocityU (=105 cm s–1) in most regions and move out of the midplane of the source region about a distance |z|100 pc. Once clear of the main gas/dust layer the dust grains (a3×10–6 cm) may then attain suprathermal energy (V g 3×108 cm s–1) by the Fermi process.  相似文献

Free convection effects on MHD flow past a semi infinite porous flat plate is studied when the time dependent suction velocity changes in step function form. The solution of the problem is obtained in closed form for the fluid with unit Prandtl number. It is observed that for both cooling and heating of the plate the suction velocity enhances the velocity field. The stars in the Main Sequence are seen as a hierarchy of objects with different massesM and effective dynamical radiiR eff=R/ given by the stellar radii and the coefficients for the inner structure of the stars. As seen in a previous work (Paper I), during the lifetime in the Main SequenceR eff(t) remains a near invariant when compared to the variation in the time ofR(t) and (t).With such an effectiveR eff one obtains the amounts of actionA c(M), the effective densities eff(M)=(M)3(M), the densities of action and of energy (or mean presures in the stellar interior)a c(M),e c(M), and the potential energiesE p(M).The amounts of action areA cM k withk1.87 for the M stars,k5/3 for the KGF stars, andk1.83 for the A and earlier stars, representing very simples conditions for the other dynamical parameters. For instancek5/3 means a near invariant effective density eff for the KGF stars, while for such stars the mean densities and coefficients present the strongest variations with masses (M)M –1.81, (M)M0.6.The cases for the M stars (e c(M)M –1) and for the A and earlier stars (betweena c(M)=constant and eff(M)M –1) and also discussed. These conditions for the earlier stars also represent reasonable mean values for the whole stellar hierarchy in the range of masses 0.2M M25M .With all this, one can build dynamical HR diagrams withA c(M), Ep(M), eff M p , etc., whose characteristics are analogous to these in the photometrical HR diagram. A comparison is made betweenA c(M) from the models here and the HR diagram with the best known stars of luminosity classes IV, V, and white dwarfs. The comparison of the potential energiesE p(M)M –p according to the stellar models used here and the observed frequency function (MM –q (number of stars in a given interval of masses) from different authors suggests the possibility that the productE p(M)(M) is a constant, but this must be confirmed with further studies of the function (M) and its fine structure. There are analogies between the formulation used here for the stellar hierarchy and other physical processes, for instance, in modified forms of the Kolmogorov law of turbulence and in the formulation used for the hierarchy of molecular clouds in gravitational equilibrium. Besides, the function of actionA c(M) for the stars has analogous properties to the relations of angular momenta and massesJ(M) for different types of objects. The cosmological implications of all this are discussed.  相似文献

We investigate symmetric periodic orbits in the framework of the planar, circular, restricted, three-body problem. Having fixed the mass of the primary equal to that of Jupiter, we determine the linear stability of a number of periodic orbits for different values of the eccentricity. A systematic study of internal resonances, with frequency p/q with 2p 9, 1 q 5 and 4/3 p/q 5, offers an overall picture of the stability character of inner orbits. For each resonance we compute the stability of the two possible periodic orbits. A similar analysis is performed for some external periodic orbits.Furthermore, we let the mass of the primary vary and we study the linear stability of the main resonances as a function of the eccentricity and of the mass of the primary. These results lead to interesting conclusions about the stability of exosolar planetary systems. In particular, we study the stability of Earth-like planets in the planetary systems HD168746, GI86, 47UMa,b and HD10697.  相似文献

The plot of the X-ray luminosity (in 0.5–4.5 KeV band and for Friedmann universe withq 0=+1) of the brightest X-ray QSO at each redshift against redshift shows that the X-ray luminosity increases more or less monotonically with redshift uptoz3. This result has been attributed to the selection effect known as the volume effect. When this selection effect is taken into account in the optical, radio and X-ray windows of the electromagnetic spectrum, a sample of the brightest X-ray QSO's is obtained which shows a small dispersion in X-ray luminosity: logL 1=46.15±0.25. The redshift-X-ray flux density plot for this sample gives slopes of both regression lines which agree, at a confidence level of 95% or greater, with the slopes expected theoretically if the redshifts of the QSO's are cosmological in nature.  相似文献

General theory of electrical conductivity of a multicomponent mixture of degenerate fermions in a magnetic fieldB, developed in the preceding article (this volume), is applied to a matter in neutron star interiors at densities 0, where 0 = 2.8×1014 g cm–3 is the standard nuclear matter density. A model of free-particle mixture ofn, p, e is used, with account for appearance of -hyperons at > c , where c 40. The electric resistivities along and acrossB, and , and the Hall resistivity H are calculated and fitted by simple analytical formulae at c and > c for the cases of normal or superfluid neutrons provided other particles are normal. Charge transport alongB is produced by electrons, due to their Coulombic collisions with other charged particles; is independent ofB and almost independent of the neutron superfluidity. Charge transport acrossB at largeB may be essentially determined by other charged particles. If c , one has = [1 + (B/B 0)2] for the normal neutrons, and for the superfluid neutrons, while H = B/B e for both cases. HereB e 109 T 8 2 G,B 01011 T 8 2 G, andT 8 is temperature in units of 108 K. Accordingly for the normal neutrons atBB 0, the transverse resistivity suffers an enhancement, 1/4 1. When 50 andB varies from 0 toBB p 1013 T 8 2 G, increases by a factor of about 103–104 and H changes sign. WhenBB p , remains constant for the superfluid neutrons, and H B 2 for the normal neutrons, while H B for any neutron state. Strong dependence of resistivity onB, T, and may affect evolution of magnetic fields in neutron star cores. In particular, the enhancement of at highB may noticeably speed up the Ohmic decay of those electric currents which are perpendicular toB.  相似文献

On the basis of the solutions obtained in the previous paper, the changes in the scenario of the standard model of the Big Bang are found. The chaos degree (constrainst on fluctuation spectra) is obtained, which could be still preserved by the initially completely chaotic Universe at the time of light elements nucleosynthesist es. The time boundaries of hadron and lepton eras and the time the electron neutrinos and neutrons become frozen in reactions of weak interaction may be shifted up to 1.4 times. The corresponding temperatures may shift off from the standard ones 0.88 times if the mean-square level of fluctuations is close to unity. If the density of the energy of fluctuations concentrated in the short-wave region of the spectrum is less than 1.5 , the nucleosynthesis leads to a helium abundance coinciding with the observe one. If at the timet es the maximum of the spectral density of the energy is in the long-wave region, that is max ct es the level of the chaos during the period of nucleosynthesis is restricted to 1.76 (where |C K |2 d3 K,C K is Fourier component of the amplitude of metric fluctuations). In particular, the protogalactic vortical disturbances with a wide spectrum 4 × 103 -1( = K/K, = /crit) are compatible with the observed helium abundance.  相似文献

In the three-dimensional restricted three-body problem, it is known that there exists a near one-to-one commensurability ratio between the planar angular frequencies (s 1, 2, 3) and the corresponding angular frequency (S 2) in thez-direction at the three collinear equilibria (L 1, 2, 3), which is significant for small and practically important values of the mass parameter (). When the more massive primary is treated as an oblate spheroid with its equatorial plane coincident with the plane of motion of the primaries, it is established that oblateness induces a one-to-one commensurability at the exterior pointL 3 (to the right of the more massive primary) and at the interior pointL 2 for 01/2 and that atL 1 no such commensurability exists. However, the values of the oblateness coefficient (A 1) involved atL 2 are too high to have any practical significance, while those atL 3 being small for small values of may be useful for generating periodic orbits of the third kind.  相似文献

In a previous publication (1977) the author has constructed a family () of long-periodic orbits in the Trojan case of the restricted problems of three bodies. Here he constructs the domain of the analytical solution of the problem of the motion, excluding the vicinity of thecritical divisor which vanishes at the exact commensurability of the natural frequencies 1 and 2. In terms of thecritical masses mj(2), or the associatedcritical energies j 2 (m), is the intersection of the intervals ofshallow resonance, of the form. Inasmuch as the intervals |2j 2 |<j ofdeep resonance aredisjoint, it follows that (1) the disjointed family () embraces the tadpole branch, 021, lying in: and (2) despite the clustering of j 2 (m) atj=, the family () includes, for 2=1, an asymptoticseparatrix that terminates the branch in the vicinity of the Lagrangian pointL 3.In a similar manner, the family () can be extended to the horseshoe branch 1<2 2 2 .  相似文献
