在实验室中研究了温度变化引起大理岩和辉长岩的波速变化和声发射活动.研究揭示了岩石热开裂的波速效应,并发现热开裂波速效应具有记忆性.实验同时表明岩石热开裂的波速效应,与过去被其他作者发现的热开裂声发射效应之间有着密切的关系.这些结果有助于阐明岩石热开裂的实质.   相似文献

根据脉冲传播和频谱比方法的基本原理建立了一套超声波衰减和波速测量系统。研究了单轴压缩下超声P波在干燥和饱水的小浪底砂岩和房山大理岩中的衰减和速度。常压下,水饱和样品的Q_P值低于干燥样品。初始加载时,在大多数情况下,Q_p值明显增加即衰减减小;当应力水平达破裂强度50-60%后,岩石开始膨胀,Q_p减小即衰减增加;临近破裂Q_p减至最小。Q_p的变化量达一个数量级。单轴压缩下,在干燥和饱水的砂岩、大理岩中,V_p分别增加为27%和28%,44%和11%。径向Q_p和V_p随单轴压力的变化比轴向小得多,呈现明显各向异性。在本实验条件下,波在裂纹表面的摩擦耗散是主要的衰减机制,水的作用主要是潮湿和润滑裂纹表面,促进滑动,增加衰减。  相似文献

用两种加载方式对岩石的破裂进行了实验研究。一种方式是在一定的围压下增加轴压使岩石破裂(A型);另一种方式是在一定围压下增加轴压直到破裂前某一应力状态,然后停止加轴压转而减小围压使岩石破裂(B型)。所用的岩石样品为济南辉长岩和山东掖县白大理岩。着重研究应力途径对岩石脆性-延性变化的影响。辉长岩在1.5千巴以下两种应力途径下的破裂都表现为脆性,但是对于同样的应力状态,B型实验比A型实验显得更脆。随着围压增加到200-250巴之间,大理岩由脆性转变为延性。围压250巴以上,大理岩的A型实验发生延性破裂。样品承受载荷的能力是逐渐丧失的。破裂过程中声发射率极低,听不到破裂声响。最后在样品中形成了剪切断面,但破裂很慢。然而,在大理岩的B型实验中,围压在250巴以上发生了脆性破裂,其表现为轴向应力突然下降,伴随着脆性破裂的声响并有声发射率剧增的前兆。看来,B型应力途径对岩石起了一个脆化的作用。  相似文献

We studied the change of magnetic behaviour upon laboratory heating of altered mid-ocean ridge basalt (MORB) samples in the age range of 16-35 Ma to determine the influence of titanomaghemite inversion on the thermal demagnetisation of natural remanent magnetisation (NRM) of these basalts. MORB samples were heated to successively higher temperatures and at the same time the temperature dependence of either saturation magnetisation or NRM was monitored continuously. After each heating step, hysteresis loops and remanent magnetisation curves between 10 K and room temperature were measured. With this procedure, it is shown that the dominant magnetic remanence carrier in our MORB samples is cation deficient titanomaghemite. Moreover, it is demonstrated that the titanomaghemite is gradually changing to a Ti-poor titanomagnetite as the final inversion product. During inversion, both the Curie temperature as well as the maximum unblocking temperature of the NRM are gradually increasing. We show that the paradox of unblocking temperatures above the Curie temperatures often observed for altered MORBs is an artefact of this gradual, heating induced inversion process.  相似文献

利用双轴伺服控制加载装置, 在干燥和饱和水(浸在水中)条件下, 开展了砂岩、 大理岩和花岗岩的摩擦实验。 对比干湿条件下断层摩擦应力和声发射的演化特征, 讨论水对断层滑动性状的影响。 研究表明, 低正应力条件下, 砂岩和大理岩标本表现为稳滑, 而花岗岩则表现为粘滑; 岩体矿物成分、 孔隙率和以及滑动面的状况共同影响断层摩擦的稳定性; 干湿条件下摩擦强度的变化为水对断层滑动面和围岩抗剪强度影响的综合效应; 砂岩含有硬度较小的矿物, 初始粘结力低, 孔隙率高, 水对滑动面和围岩都起到弱化的作用; 方解石硬度和摩擦特性控制了大理岩的摩擦性状, 而标本含有穿晶和晶内微破裂增强了水对大理岩摩擦强度的弱化作用; 花岗岩组成矿物的硬度大且胶结紧密, 初始粘结力大, 孔隙率低, 因此摩擦性状对含水量的变化响应较小。 不同岩性的摩擦稳定性在干湿条件下均存在差异, 不同岩性断层摩擦性状对含水量的变化响应不同, 因此研究水库诱发地震时要考虑断层的岩性特征。  相似文献

—Forced torsional oscillation techniques have been used to explore the seismic-frequency shear mode viscoelasticity of specimens of two crustal rocks (Cape Sorell quartzite and Delegate aplite), cycled between room temperature and 700°C under conditions of moderate confining pressure. The anisotropy and intergranular inhomogeneity of thermal expansivity in these materials give rise to large deviatoric stresses, resulting in thermal cracking at temperatures above a pressure-dependent threshold temperature, associated with the onset of very pronounced temperature sensitivity of the shear modulus, in general accord with the predictions of fracture mechanics models. For Delegate aplite in particular, the shear modulus behaves reproducibly during multiple thermal cycles at different confining pressures, consistent with the notion that the thermal cracks are of low aspect ratio (minimum/maximum dimension), and are therefore readily closed by the prevailing confining pressure once the thermal stresses are removed. Marked frequency-dependent dissipation of shear strain energy is observed on heating each rock to temperatures ≥ 500°C, although the attenuation varies significantly with prior thermal history, probably as a result of progressive dehydration and relaxation of deviatoric stresses. Temperature and pressure dependent crack densities for Delegate aplite have been estimated by comparison of the observed shear moduli with those expected for a crack-free aggregate. In parallel with the forced oscillation tests, measurements have been made of the rate at which (argon) pore pressure equilibrium is re-established following a perturbation. Combination of these results, which provide a proxy for permeability, with the inferred crack densities indicates that the variation of permeability with crack density is well described by a percolation model with a threshold crack density of ~0.2.  相似文献

Rotational temperatures of the 1.58-μm (0–1) band of the Infrared Atmospheric system of molecular oxygen (IRAO2), measured in Zvenigorod (56° N, 36° E), are systematized and analyzed. An empirical dependence of variations in the temperature of the 1.58-μm emission on the solar zenith angle is derived. The use of parameters of the altitude distribution of emission intensity 1.27 μm of middle atmosphere temperature profiles, received from the AURA satellite, allowed for the study of daily variations in the temperature of the 1.58-μm emission. It is revealed that the behavior of these variations corresponds to daily variations in the atmospheric temperature at altitudes of the radiating layer of IRAO2, received from the AURA satellite.  相似文献

根据下扬子区50余口井温测量资料,从中选取能代表地层温度的井温数据计算地温梯度,在实验室中测量中、新生界的110余块砂岩和泥岩热导率及古生界碳酸岩和砂岩100余块露头样品的热导率.在此基础上,确定了41口井的大地热流密度值.地温梯度和大地热流密度分布表明,下扬子大部分地区中生代构造热事件伴随的热异常已不明显,而新生代时期岩石层拉张地区─-苏北盆地和郯庐断裂带是高热流密度和高地温梯度区.  相似文献

Pore pressure changes in a geothermal reservoir, as a result of injection and/or production of water, result in changes of stress acting on the reservoir rock and, consequently, changes in the mechanical and transport properties of the rock. Bulk modulus and permeability were measured at different pressures and temperatures. An outcropping equivalent of Rotliegend reservoir rock in the North German Basin (Flechtinger sandstone) was used to perform hydrostatic tests and steady state fluid flow tests. Permeability measurements were conducted while cycling confining pressure; the dependence of permeability on stress was determined at a constant downstream pressure of 1 MPa. Also, temperature was increased stepwise from 30 to 140 °C and crack porosity was calculated at different temperatures. Although changes in the volumes of cracks are not significant, the cracks control fluid flow pathways and, consequently, the permeability of the rock. A new model was derived which relates microstructure of porosity, the stress–strain curve, and permeability. Porosity change was described by the first derivative of the stress–strain curve. Permeability evolution was ascribed to crack closure and was related to the second derivative of the stress–strain curve. The porosity and permeability of Flechtinger sandstone were reduced by increasing the effective pressure and decreased after each pressure cycle.  相似文献

We performed deformation experiments using Carrara marble in dry and wet conditions under temperature of 400~700℃ and confining pressure 300MPa with two different strain rates. Water contents of deformed samples were measured using FTIR spectroscopy. The microstructure and deformation mechanisms of samples were observed under optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy and energy spectroscopy analysis. The mechanical data show that samples display strain hardening at 400℃, and transition to steady creep at temperature from 500~700℃. The strength of marble reduced gradually with elevated temperatures or decreased strain rate. However, water effect to the strength of the marble is significantly weak. Microstructures observed show that the deformation is cataclastic flow in dry samples, fracture and pressure solution in wet samples at 400℃. Samples underwent brittle-plastic transition at 500℃. Dislocation glide is major deformation mechanism for dry samples at 600℃. Dislocation climb and dynamic recrystallization are major deformation mechanism for wet samples at 600℃ and for all wet samples and dry samples at 700℃. Lower strain rate and higher water content could promote the process of pressure solution and diffusion as well as dynamic recrystallization.  相似文献

This paper reports the variations of mass, porosity, and wave velocity of sandstone after high temperature heating. The range of temperature to which the sandstone specimens have been exposed is 25–850°C, in a heating furnace. It has been shown that below 300°C, porosity and wave velocity change very little. Above 300°C, there is a rapid increase in porosity, but the wave velocity decreases significantly. The results of thermo gravimetric analysis (TGA), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and mercury intrusion porosimetry (MIP) suggest that a series of changes occurred between 400 and 600°C in sandstone could be responsible for the different patterns of variation in porosity and wave velocity.  相似文献

Equipment for simulation in laboratory conditions of hydrate-containing artificial samples and measuring their acoustic properties (wave velocities, absorption and attenuation) at different temperature and pressures is designed and constructed. The plant consists of a high-pressure chamber (up to 45 MPa), a measuring system intended for the excitation and reception of acoustic waves, systems for temperature and pressure control (axial and lateral) and for gas/liquid delivery into the sample. The measurements are performed on cylindrical samples with a 30-mm diameter and height of 10–50 mm. A set of successful test experiments was performed, including measurements of acoustic velocities of consolidated (plexiglas, sandstone, and frozen sand) and unconsolidated (dry and wet quartz sand) samples and formation of methane-hydrate bearing samples.  相似文献

The study of thermal expansion by a dilatometer technique on a few granitic rocks from the Peninsular shield and Himalayan regions of India confirms that the linear coefficient of thermal expansion (α) is a function of heating rate, crack porosity, thermal cycling, mineral composition and grain orientation. Permanent set in the samples occurs at the limiting temperature (Tp) and restricts the validity of the apparent thermal-expansion coefficient with rise in temperature. Values of α are determined for a heating rate of ?2°C min?1 in order to calculate the volume coefficient of expansion (αv) and the temperature dependence of density (ρT).  相似文献

岩石受载内部微裂纹扩展及其震源机制反演有助于认识宏观裂纹扩展过程的非线性断裂力学行为.借助声发射监测手段,本文建立了仅涉及微裂纹张开/闭合和剪切滑移的位移不连续震源模型,通过各位置处传感器耦合质量标定及点源远场P波矩张量反演获得了含预制裂纹砂岩受载过程的震源机制解及时变响应特征,在全局坐标系下分析了微裂纹的三种断裂力学行为.结果表明:在位移不连续模型中,震源矩张量特征值与试样泊松比之间必须满足特定约束条件,该约束条件下的优化问题可采用拉格朗日乘子和Levenberg-Marquardt迭代法求解;受载砂岩裂纹扩展过程中,声发射震源以剪切滑移机制占优,微裂纹空间取向及运动方向与试样宏观主裂纹夹角平均值分别为40.9°和17.7°;对微裂纹体积分解表明岩体微观破裂机制以沿X方向I型张开为主,而沿Y方向的II型断裂滑移方向与试样全局变形方向相一致,由于试样内部晶粒分布非均质性造成了少量沿Z方向的III型平面外微裂纹滑移行为;受载砂岩裂纹扩展过程中微裂纹模式角与震源极性值变化趋势一致、利用震源震级评估的局部应力降值与实验观测结果相吻合,这两者均表明了位移不连续模型在震源机制定量反演中的适用性.  相似文献

砂岩的热开裂研究具有广泛的工程背景,本文实时在线观察和研究了不同温度作用下平顶山砂岩的热开裂:温度低于150℃时,砂岩几乎不发生热开裂;温度从150℃升高到300℃过程中大量的热开裂发生.而不同的矿物成分发生热开裂的阈值温度不完全相同,因此热开裂的阈值温度或者阈值温度范围只具有统计意义.砂岩热开裂主要与矿物成分的热学与力学性质有关,除了受到矿物热膨胀不匹配及热膨胀各向异性的影响,更重要的还受到矿物颗粒形状的影响,如热开裂多发生在矿物颗粒的短轴方向、优势结晶取向、颗粒奇异界面等,且热开裂的分布具有随机性.实验还观察到砂岩表面微缺陷发生闭合的全过程,在冷却过程也有微裂纹形成等现象.  相似文献

A high-temperature contact is described between the basal pargasite-bearing spinel-lherzolites of the Bay of Islands ophiolite complex and underlying garnet-granulite facies metagabbros of its dynamothermal aureole. Three distinct high-temperature hydrous assemblages occur in the basal mylonites of the peridotite, and spinel- and garnet-bearing corona textures indicative of increase in pressure under constant or increasing temperature conditions are described for the first time from the uppermost part of the aureole. On the basis of garnet-clinopyroxene geothermometry and garnet-forming reactions in metabasic rocks, P?T conditions of 7–11 kbar, 750–850°C are estimated for rocks on both sides of the contact. Steep inverted gradients in both temperature and pressure of equilibration occur in the aureole, which most likely represents a thinned, overturned and metamorphosed section through an ophiolite sequence. It is proposed that the aureole formed in a low-angle shear zone cutting the oceanic crust and upper mantle.Age data shows that the Bay of Islands Complex was 30–40 Ma old and therefore relatively cold at the time of formation of the aureole. Prolonged (> 1 Ma) shear heating must therefore have occurred at high shear stresses and movement rates (≥ 1 kbar, 10 cm/yr) to produce the high contact temperatures. The displacement surface probably initiated as a discrete fault, evolving into a viscous shear zone with time. Downward movement of the locus of shearing into weaker lithologies and finally thrusting of the ophiolite-aureole complex over cold sediments accounts for the preservation of steep metamorphic gradients in the aureole.The observed pressures at the ophiolite-aureole contact are 3–7 kbar in excess of the expected load pressure from the present thickness of the ophiolite. The cause of the pressure excess was removed before formation of lower-grade parts of the aureole. Possible explanations are tectonic thinning of the ophiolite during displacement or more likely emplacement of nappes on top of the ophiolite before formation of the aureole. A model involving detachment of the ophiolite slice from below a subduction zone can account for the high pressures, rapid uplift and erosion during displacement, and the coincidence of K-Ar ages of amphiboles from the aureole and the sheeted dyke complex of the ophiolite.  相似文献

用真三轴试验机对福田花岗岩和山口大理岩进行了实验研究.表明,如果从一定的应力状态开始,保持最大主应力和最小主应力不变,单独改变中等主应力可以引起岩石的破坏.在这种情况下破坏前声发射率急剧增长的前兆比由最大主应力增加引起岩石破坏时的声发射前兆出现晚得多.联系这一现象对中等主应力变化引起地震的可能性进行了探讨.   相似文献
