This paper deals with the spatial heterogeneity structure and the influence of the precision of moss data on results interpretation as real spatial variations of atmospheric heavy metal deposition. Different sizes of map mesh net (unit I of 30 × 30 km, unit II of 10 × 10 km, unit III of 3 × 3 km) have divided an area of 90 × 90 km. The protocol used is a nested design with three levels and random draws. The statistical method of components of variance analysis estimates the associated variability for each mesh size. Our results show the poor precision of this biological tool for map purposes on a little scale (unit III). Furthermore, the high residual variance of As, Ba, Cd, Co, Cu, La, Ti, and U hides the spatial variations associated with mesh sizes. In order to obtain useful maps, it should be reasonable to use a 30 × 30 km mesh size, or even larger, to build spatial variation maps of Pb, Sb and with more caution for Cu, Sr, Rb and Zn. For V, As and Cd, the residual variability of moss data was too important to guarantee any spatial origin to the mapped variations. The cost–benefit study shows that the sampling effort has to be concentrated on unit I of 30 × 30 km to optimize future campaigns, and with a particular stress on the sampling repetitions for Cu, Pb, and Sb. 相似文献

In the year 2000, the elemental composition of mosses collected from 528 French sites has been studied as part of the 2000 European Moss Survey. Five moss species were collected: Scleropodium purum (56%), Pleurozium schreberi (18%), Hypnum cupressiforme (18%), Thuidium tamariscinum (4.5%.) and Hylocomium splendens (3.5%). Mosses were kept whole for analysis, including green and brownish parts. Summary statistics on element concentrations (Al, Ba, Ca, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Hg, K, Li, Mg, Mn, Na, Ni, P, Pb, Rb, Sr, V and Zn), and comparisons made with data from the other 27 participating European countries are shown here. The sources of these elements are identified using calculations of enrichment factors (EF) and principal component analysis (PCA). Finally, the spatial distribution in France of 10 elements is also shown, using maps underscoring areas showing highest concentration levels for each metal. 相似文献

The diversity of epiphytic lichens and mercury concentrations in lichen samples were measured to monitor the release of airborne pollutants from the industrial exploitation of geothermal resources in the Mt. Amiata area (Italy). The lichen biodiversity showed a general condition of moderate environmental alteration around the geothermal power plants, contrasting with the low environmental alteration of the remaining sites investigated. According to the accumulated Hg in lichen thalli, it was possible to estimate mean Hg and H2S concentrations in the air, which resulted in very good agreement with values measured instrumentally. Based on these data and the correlation between lichen diversity values and Hg concentrations in lichens, it was possible to calculate the threshold of 8 μg/m3 H2S as responsible for the worsening from low to moderate environmental alteration according to the biodiversity of epiphytic lichens, and to infer that around geothermal power plants, although not toxic to humans, H2S concentrations are such to alter the nasal quality of the air. Based on the growth rate of X. parietina, it was possible to convert Hg concentrations into estimates of average Hg deposition rates, which showed fluxes of the order of 65–100 mg/ha/y, indicating a dispersions factor of about 104 for the Hg emitted from the geothermal power plants. 相似文献

利用2006年8~9月的野外观测资料,分析了天津武清区晴天能见度的变化特征,并分析了能见度与细粒子(PM2.5)、大气污染物和大气相对湿度(RH)的相关性。结果表明:观测期内大气平均能见度为6.3km,低于4km的时间段占50%;日变化表现为日出前(北京时间5时)能见度最低,约为2.6km,下午15时最高,约为11.1km;不同大气相对湿度下能见度与大气中细颗粒物浓度相关性不同;污染气体浓度与能见度呈反相关关系,φ(SO2)、φ(NO2)、φ(NO)、φ(NH3)和φ(CO)越高,能见度越低。 相似文献

Particulate matter with diameters of 2.5 μm or smaller(PM_(2.5)) and ozone(O_3) are major pollutants in the urban atmosphere. PM_(2.5) can affect O_3 by altering the photolysis rate and heterogeneous reactions. However, these two processes and their relative importance remain uncertain. In this paper, with Nanjing in China as the target city, we investigate the characteristics and mechanism of interactions between particles and O_3 based on ground observations and numerical modeling.In 2008, the average concentrations of PM_(2.5) and O_3 at Caochangmen station are 64.6 ± 47.4 μg m~(-3) and 24.6 ± 22.8 ppb,respectively, while at Pukou station they are 94.1 ± 63.4 μg m~(-3) and 16.9 ± 14.9 ppb. The correlation coefficient between PM_(2.5) and O_3 is -0.46. In order to understand the reaction between PM_(2.5) and O_3, we construct a box model, in which an aerosol optical property model, ultraviolet radiation model, gas phase chemistry model, and heterogeneous chemistry model,are coupled. The model is employed to investigate the relative contribution of the aforementioned two processes, which vary under different particle concentrations, scattering capability and VOCs/NOxratios(VOCs: volatile organic compounds;NOx: nitric oxide and nitrogen dioxide). Generally, photolysis rate effect can cause a greater O_3 reduction when the particle concentrations are higher, while heterogeneous reactions dominate O_3 reduction with low-level particle concentrations.Moreover, in typical VOC-sensitive regions, O_3 can even be increased by heterogeneous reactions. In Nanjing, both processes lead to O_3 reduction, and photolysis rate effect is dominant. Our study underscores the importance of photolysis rate effect and heterogeneous reactions for O_3, and such interaction processes should be fully considered in future atmospheric chemistry modeling. 相似文献

Size Distributions and Elemental Compositions of Particulate Matter on Clear, Hazy and Foggy days in Beijing, China 总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2
Total suspended particulates(TSP)samples were collected using low pressure impactors(Andersen Series 20-800,USA)on typical clear,hazy and foggy days in Beijing in order to investigate the characteristics of size distributions and elemental compositions of particulate matter(PM)in different weather conditions. The concentrations of sixteen elements,including Na,Mg,Al,K,Ca,Mn,Fe,Ni,Cu,Zn,As,Se,Cd,Ba,Tl and Pb were detected using inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(ICP-MS).The results showed that Ca,Al,Fe,Mg and Ba on foggy days were 2.0-2.6 times higher than on clear days,and 2.3-2.9 times higher than on hazy days.Concentrations of Cu,Zn,As,Se and Pb on foggy days were 163.5,1186.7,65.9,32.0 and 708.2 ng m-3,respectively,in fine particles,and 68.1,289.5,19.8,1.6 and 103.8 ng m-3,respectively,in coarse particles.This was 1.0-8.4 times higher and 1.4-7.4 times higher than on clear and hazy days,respectively.It is then shown that Mg,Al,Fe,Ca and Ba were mainly associated with coarse particles,peaking at 4.7-5.8μm;that Cd,Se,Zn,As,Tl and Pb were most dominant in fine particles,peaking at 0.43-1.1μm;and that Na,K,Ni,Cu and Mn had a multi-mode distribution,with peaks at 0.43-1.1μm and 4.7-5.8μm.The enrichment factors indicated that coal combustion along with vehicle and industry emissions may be the main sources of pollution elements. 相似文献

Atmospheric particle samples were collected at an urban site of Datong, Shanxi Province, during December 2004 and their element concentrations at different sizes were analyzed by particle-induced X-ray emission (PIXE). Analysis of the observation data showed that particle pollution was heavy in winter at Datong and that concentrations of most elements were high in the coarse range. Factor analysis (FA) results indicated that the soil and dust, coal combustion dust, and industry dust are main sources for atmospheric particles in winter at Datong. The enrichment factors of element concentrations showed that particle pollution at Datong impacts the down-wind region--Beijing--in the dust season. 相似文献

A stainless steel soil corer which was filled with homogenized soil was used to measure the flux (J) of NO between soil and atmosphere and the vertical profile of the NO mixing ratios (m) in the soil atmosphere, both as function of the NO mixing ratio (mm
a
) in the atmosphere of the headspace. The NO emission flux decreased linearly with increasing NO mixing ratio and turned into a deposition flux after passage of the compensation point (m
c) at about 400 ppbv NO. Almost the same compensation point was obtained when the turnover of NO was measured in flask-incubated soil samples as function of the NO mixing ratio. The flux (J) of NO at the soil-atmosphere interface was calculated from the production rate (P) of NO and the NO uptake rate constant (k) that were measured in these flask-incubated soil samples using the diffusion model of Galbally and Johansson (1989). The calculated fluxes agreed within <15% with those actually measured. The vertical profiles of NO were fitted to an exponential function and analyzed by Fick's first law of diffusion. The shape of the profiles indicated a net production of NO in the upper 10 cm soil layer when the atmospheric NO mixing ratio was below the compensation point and in a net consumption of NO when the atmospheric NO mixing ratio was above the compensation point. In soil layers below 10 cm depth, the turnover of NO resulted in compensation of production and consumption rates. Measurement of the actual diffusion coefficient using SF6 showed that gas transport in the soil core was not only due to molecular diffusion but in addition due to a bidirectional gas flow. The experimentally determined diffusion coefficient was smaller than that computed from soil porosities, but resulted together with the additional transport term in NO fluxes that were close (< ±15%) to those measured. This is the first comprehensive study of NO concentration profiles and turnover rates in soil providing a theoretical basis for modelling NO fluxes at the soil-atmosphere interface. 相似文献

利用2006~2010年的CloudSat热带气旋过境数据集资料,依据风速大小划分为不同演变阶段,对各阶段内东太平洋台风的云、降水和热力结构进行综合分析。结果表明:雷达反射率在5 km高度上下的分布截然相反,沿径向回波强度和顶高不断减小。各类云沿径向和垂直方向的分布差异较大,而深对流云的垂直尺度和发生概率始终较大。有效粒子半径、分布宽度参数和冰水含量随高度减小而粒子数浓度却增大,沿径向各冰云参数以及降雨率都不断减小。各阶段降雨率总体上夏季大于秋季,沿纬向各季节在不同阶段的分布各异。内核区降雨率近似服从指数分布且对暖的海面温度SST较为敏感,其与雷达反射率的散点分布集中在三个区域内。内核区5~10 km高度存在暖核结构,其下方恰好对应湿心区,而10 km以上相对湿度距平较大值区对应台风顶部的卷云罩。各阶段4.5 km以上为对流性稳定层结而该高度以下的层结特性各异,此外假相当位温沿径向不断减小。 相似文献

Intact soils cores were taken with a stainless steel corer from a sandy podzol and a loamy luvisol, and used to measure the flux (J) of NO between soil and atmosphere and the vertical profile of the NO mixing ratios (m) in the soil atmosphere, both as function of the NO mixing ratio (m
a) in the atmosphere of the headspace. These measurements were repeated after stepwise excavation of the soil column from the top, e.g. by removing the upper 2 cm soil layer. The gaseous diffusion coefficients of NO in the soil cores were either computed from soil porosity or were determined from experiments using SF6. The NO fluxes (J) that were actually measured at the soil surface were compared to the fluxes which were calculated either from the vertical NO profiles (J
c
) or from the NO production and uptake rates (J
m
) determined in the excavated soil samples. In the podzol, the actually measured (J) and the calculated (J
m
, Jm) NO fluxes agreed within a factor of 2. In the luvisol, the measured NO fluxes (J) and those calculated from the vertical NO profiles (J
c
) also agreed well, but in the upper 6 cm soil layer the NO fluxes (J
m
) calculated from NO production and uptake rates were up to 7 times higher than the measured NO fluxes. This poor agreement was probably due to the inhomogeneous distribution of NO production and consumption processes and the change of diffusivities within the top layers of the luvisol. Indeed, the luvisol showed a pronounced maximum of the NO mixing ratios at about 6 cm depth, whereas the podzol column exhibited a steady and exponential decrease of the NO mixing ratios with depth. The inhomogeneities in the luvisol were confirmed by incubation of the soil cores under anoxic conditions. This treatment resulted in production of NO at several depths indicating a zonation of increased potential activities within the luvisol profile which may have biased the modelling of the NO surface flux from turnover measurements in soil samples. 本文利用1979~2015年GPCP(Global Precipitation Climatology Project)逐月降水资料,采用经验正交函数(EOF)分解和Morlet小波分析方法,对东北亚地区初夏、盛夏和传统夏季降水的时空分布特征以及环流型开展了系统性的研究,揭示了东北亚地区传统夏季降水表现为盛夏降水贡献占主导,其年际和年代际特征以及环流特征同盛夏降水特征相一致,而初夏降水和盛夏降水特征及形成机制则具有显著差异。空间分布上,初夏的降水EOF第一模态表现为“+-+”的三极型分布,而盛夏和传统夏季则表现为南北相反的偶极型特征;时间演变方面,初夏降水表现为5~6 a振荡周期,盛夏为2~3 a为主的振荡周期,传统夏季则兼具上述两类振荡周期;在年代际调整方面,在1990年代末,盛夏降水和传统夏季降水在华北和东北地区发生了显著的年代际转折。此外,分析降水与环流的联系发现:初夏,由于西太平洋上空异常反气旋将西太平洋等地的水汽向北方地区输送,且受欧亚Ⅱ型(EUII)遥相关的作用,东北亚地区初夏降水异常具有明显纬向特征。盛夏,东北亚地区降水主要受到西太平洋副热带高压西伸北进、孟加拉湾和南海等地水汽加强的影响。欧亚Ⅰ型(EUI)遥相关和亚洲太平洋型(EAP)遥相关与我国东北以西和沿海地区的降水具有显著相关性。EU型遥相关的作用使东北亚夏季降水的异常中心存在西北—东南向的波列特征,EAP型遥相关的作用则使夏季降水存在经向三极型或偶极型特征。 相似文献

基于1979—2008年京津冀地区175个气象站的冰雹观测资料,应用气候趋势系数、倾向率、集中度和集中期,以及连续功率谱等方法,分析了京津冀地区及4个划分关键区冰雹发生的多时间尺度变化特征和变化趋势,并运用蒙特卡罗方法检验了气候趋势系数的显著性。结果表明:近30年该地区的冰雹有明显减少趋势,北部地区比南部地区减少幅度要大,山地区域比平原地区减少幅度大;基本上都存在2.0~2.5年的变化周期,该地区冰雹的发生具有准两年周期振荡的特征;南部平原冰雹发生的集中度最大,该区冰雹在年内发生时间最为集中;南部平原集中期较早,出现在6月初,其他几个关键区冰雹主要发生在6月底到7月初。应用气候要素累计距平曲线、Yamamoto方法进行了气候突变分析,结果表明京津冀地区冰雹在1993年发生了减少的突变,山地区域尤为显著。 相似文献

应用自动观测站资料,分析了深圳城市、海洋、丘陵、山地等4个小气候区夏季典型晴天气温、湿度及舒适度特征。结果表明:各小气候区气温、相对湿度存在显著差异,它们的最小值、最大值、平均值及日变化存在明显不同。白天最高气温,丘陵最高,城市第二,山地第三,海洋最低。夜间最低气温,海洋最高,城市第二,丘陵第三,山地最低。各小气候区舒适度指数也存在显著差异,它们的最小值、最大值以及日变化也存在明显不同。白天,丘陵最热,城市第二,山地第三,海洋最舒适。夜间,海洋最热,城市第二,丘陵第三,山地最舒适。 相似文献

利用2004年6~7月在河西走廊金塔陆-气相互作用试验的观测资料,分析了该地区夏季夜间和中午风、温、湿的垂直结构特征,结果表明:夏季夜间,当地面风较小时,金塔绿洲高空可能为偏西风气流,夜间稳定层高度大致在100~190m。夏季中午,当低空为偏东风时,风速随高度的变化比较复杂。总的来说,存在着东风急流,急流高度在1000-4000m之间,大气边界层顶盖(即逆温层底)约在3000-3600m高度,在500-800m高度以下存在绿洲内边界层;当低空为偏北风或西北风时,高空都为偏西风或西北风气流,低空风速随高度的变化比较平缓,风速有时存在极大值,大气边界层顶盖(即逆温层底)在3500m左右,在1200m以下可能存在绿洲内边界层,绿洲内边界层高度有时会很低。 相似文献

通过气象站记录、灾害大典、气候影响评价等多种途径,收集到湖北通山核电站周边300km×300km区域范围内1956-2000年龙卷风资料,对龙卷风的时间分布和灾害特征进行了分析。结果表明:龙卷风有明显的时间分布,一年中主要集中在夏春季,以7月、4月最多;一天中,午后至傍晚最多;龙卷风平均持续时间为17min;近45年,1976~1985年这10年中龙卷风出现最频繁;龙卷风出现时,蒲福风力等级一般在10级以上,平均12~13级,最大17级,富士达风力等级平均F1级,最大F3级,风速约70m·s^-1;龙卷风从NW→SE向移动的频次最多;龙卷风影响宽度一般在0.5km内,平均带长为10.0km;龙卷风灾害呈并发性,主要是风灾,往往伴有冰雹、暴雨、雷击及飞射物,使灾害加重。 相似文献

The main objective of this study is to investigate the chemical characteristics of biomass burning aerosol and its impact on regional air quality during an agricultural waste burning period in early summer in the rural areas of Korea. A 12-h integrated intensive sampling of biomass burning aerosol in the fine and coarse modes was conducted on 2–20 June 2003 in Gwangju, Korea. The collected samples were analyzed for concentrations of mass, ionic, elemental, and carbonaceous species. Average concentrations of fine and coarse mass were measured to be 67.9 and 18.7 μg m− 3 during the biomass burning period, 41.9 and 18.8 μg m− 3 during the haze period, and 35.6 and 13.3 μg m− 3 during the normal period, respectively. An exceptionally high PM2.5 concentration of 110.3 μg m− 3 with a PM2.5/PM10 ratio of 0.79 was observed on 6 June 2003 during the biomass burning period. The potassium ratio method was used to identify biomass burning samples. The average ratio of potassium in the fine mode to the coarse mode (FK/CK) was 23.8 during the biomass burning period, 6.0 during the haze period, and 4.7 during the normal period, respectively. A FK/CK ratio above 9.2 was considered a criterion for biomass burning event in this study. 利用1951—2008年NCAR/NCEP再分析资料及中国气象局整编的160站降水资料,探讨了黄河流域夏季降水气候分布范围,在此基础上研究了黄河流域夏季降水旱涝的年代际变化特点。结果表明:20世纪90年代以前,黄河流域夏季旱涝变化为9—11 a和2—3 a周期,20世纪90年代后周期变化不明显。对导致黄河流域夏季旱涝的气候物理因素分析表明,东亚高度场负距平异常直接造成中国黄河流域的夏季偏旱,而亚洲高度距平场东高西低的配置造成中国黄河流域偏涝;夏季南亚季风、东亚季风在中国黄河流域的辐合是流域降水偏多的关键。在同期OLR距平场,涝年黄河流域处在大的负距平中,对流强盛有利于水汽的辐合。影响大气的主要下垫面要素海温场,赤道东太平洋海温指数与夏季中国黄河流域降水同期呈负相关关系。中国黄河流域旱年赤道东太平洋海温多为正位相,对应中国黄河流域涝年赤道东太平洋海温多为负位相。提出了一个寻找旱涝成因方法并为预测旱涝变化提供参考。 相似文献
