A total of 22 strong earthquakes with Ms ≥ 7.0 occurred in the world according to the Chinese Seismic Station Network in 2007 （Table 1 ）.

1.SURVEY OF GLOBAL SEISMICITY IN 1999A total of 21 earthquakes with M_S≥7.0 occurred over the world in 1999 according to thedetermination by the Chinese Seismic Station Network(Table 1).The strongest one is theTurkey earthquake(M_s7.8,August 17).The second strongest earthquakes are Nantouearthquake of Taiwan,China(M_s7.6,September 16)and Mexico southern inshoreearthquake(M_s7.6,October 1)(Fig、1).

1 全球地震活动概况 据我国地震台网测定,2007年全球共发生7级以上地震22次(表1),最大地震为9月12日印尼苏门答腊南部海中8.5级地震(图1).     

2020年震情述评

1全球地震活动概况 据中国地震台网测定,2020年1月1日至12月31日,全球共发生6级以上地震82次,其中7级以上地震10次,最大地震为7月22日美国阿拉斯加州以南海域7.8级地震(图1).2020年全球7级以上地震频次较少、强度较低,全球已持续2年未发生8级以上地震.自2018年以来,中国大陆及周边已连续3年未发生...     

2012年震情述评

1 全球地震活动概况 据中国地震台网测定,2012年全球共发生7级以上地震20次(表1),其中包括2次8级以上地震,即2012年4月11日苏门答腊北部附近海域8.6级、8.2级地震(图1).与2011年相比,全球地震频次和能量释放明显减少.2012年全球7级以上地震活动有以下特点: 1.1 全球8级地震继续活跃 2012年全球共发生7级以上地震20次,比1900年以来的平均水平(18次/年)略高,与2011年(26次)相比,地震频次减少(图2).虽然2012年4月11日苏门答腊北部附近海域发生8.6级、8.2级地震,但与2011年(3月11日发生日本9.0级地震)相比,全球地震能量释放减少较明显.     

2015年震情述评

SUMMARY(1) Seismicity with MS8． 0 continued to be active in the world in 2015． The global seismic activity with MS 7． 0 entered a strong active phase after the ending of each of the repeated prolonged period of quiescence． The strong earthquakes were concentrated on the Circum Pacific Seismic Belt and Eurasian Seismic Zone． Earthquake activity with MS≥7． 8 in the west China and its adjacent areas was active．(2) Seismicity was low in the Chinese mainland in 2015,and earthquakes of MS5． 0 in the Chinese mainland were remarkably quiet． Earthquakes with MS≥6． 0 were still distributed in the North-South Seismic Belt,the Xinjiang area,and south Tibet area． The activity of moderatestrong earthquakes in the North-South Seismic Belt entered a new active period,and seismicity in the Tianshan seismic belt continued to be weak,earthquakes of MS6． 0 in the eastern Chinese mainland were remarkably quiet,but moderate-strong earthquakes were active．     

2004年震情述评

据我国地震台网测定，2004年全球共发生7级以上地震19次(表1)，最大地震为12月26日印尼苏门达腊岛西北8．7级(据中国地震台网中心测定)地震。2004年全球地震活动仍维持前几年的活动格局，全球7级以上地震主要分布在环太平洋地震带西部，印度一澳大利亚板块和日本地区的强震活动显著(图1)。2004年全球7级以上地震活动有以下特点：

2013年震情述评

A total of 23 strong earthquakes with Ms ≥ 7.0 occurred in 2013 throughout the world according to the China Seismic Network （ Table 1） . The strongest earthquake was in the Sea of Okhotsk, measuring Ms8.2 on May 24 （ Fig. 1） . Earthquakes oeeurred mainly in the western part of the cireum--Pacifie seismie belt. Compared with the seismieity in 2012, the frequeney increased significantly and the energy release of earthquakes was obviously low. Features of global seismicity of Ms ≥7.0 are as follows：

<正>1全球地震活动概况据中国地震台网测定,2022年1月1日—12月31日,全球共发生6级以上地震112次,其中7级以上地震7次,最大地震为9月11日巴布亚新几内亚7.6级地震(图1)。1.1全球7级以上大震活动明显偏弱2022年全球共发生7级以上地震7次,最大地震为9月11日巴布亚新几内亚7.6级地震。全球7级以上地震强度较2021年有所降低,频次显著低于1900年以来年均20次的活动水平,且显著低于2021年(解孟雨等,2021;马亚伟等,2022),2022年全球7级以上地震频次为1900年以来最低水平(图2)。     

A Review of Seismicity in 2006
