反射地震方法一般用于地下地质结构的探测.本文采用南海东北部的一条地震测线记录,通过对水体反射信号的处理,获取了该测线上海水的声速剖面,并获得了海水水体结构的直观图像.在反射地震剖面上,可以看出南海东北部上层海水结构较为稳定,没有明显的水体侵入痕迹,但中、深层海水中内波较为发育,这与物理海洋学上的研究结果是一致的.本文通过设计合理的数据模型说明了地震海洋学这种方法的可行性,并对地震海洋学的工作方法和方向上提出了一些意见和建议.  相似文献

2008年5月12日汶川发生里氏8.0级地震的发震机制与龙门山断裂带的构造特征紧密相关,应用反射地震探测方法精细探测发震构造内部的结构特征,对研究汶川地震的发震机理有重要意义.5.12地震后在地表错断最剧烈的区域之一虹口乡白庙村穿过发震构造和深钻科研井WSFD-1和WSFD-2布置了兼顾浅中深层信息的反射地震探测剖面,该区域断裂带硬岩出露,地形地貌复杂多变,起伏剧烈,只能采取弯线地震测线布设方式采集二维反射地震数据,而且弯曲度大,造成CDP点分散严重.区域内构造复杂,褶皱逆推构造发育,地层和构造倾角大,采用常规二维地震数据处理方法进行叠加处理时,易将不同地层的反射信息叠加到同一反射层.弯线叠加剖面上侧面波,混波干扰严重,会显著地降低原本低信噪比数据的分辨率,或剖面可靠性低,容易在二维剖面中造成解释陷阱.本文利用弯线地震采集的三维特性,用拟三维地震叠加技术处理汶川地震科学钻井附近横跨北川-映秀断裂带的二维弯线地震数据,弥补常规二维弯线地震数据处理技术的不足,将不同地层的反射信息分离归位到不同的三维叠加剖面上,解决二维弯线地震数据处理时混波干扰严重的难题.通过理论分析和实验选取合适的共中心点面元,获得了高分辨率的三维叠加剖面.相比于二维弯线叠加剖面,三维叠加剖面切片成像更真实,剔除了不同地层反射信息混叠的影响,能得到更准确的断点信息,并可以获得沿断层走向横向的信息,显著提高了构造解释的可靠性和精度.应用拟三维地震数据处理方法处理龙门山断裂带的二维弯线地震数据,获取高分辨率的构造信息,有利于断裂带内汶川地震发震机制和龙门山隆起机制的解释.  相似文献

我国每天有数千趟高铁列车运行在两万多公里的高铁线路上,不但会引起高铁路基的振动,还会激发出地震波.地震检波器所接收到的数据中不仅包含窄带分立谱特性的高铁震源地震信号,还包含宽频带特性的背景信号.如何实现从检波器所接收到的高铁震源地震数据中分离出高铁震源地震信号和宽频带背景信号是准确利用该类信号的关键.考虑到高铁震源地震信号与宽频带信号在频率域明显的形态特征差异,本文首次将形态成分分析这种信号分离手段引入到高铁震源地震信号处理中,实现高铁震源地震信号的稀疏化建模并进而实现从接收数据中分离出高铁震源地震信号以及宽频带背景信号.对北京大学在中国南方某高铁沿线采集到的大量高铁震源地震数据进行处理,结果表明:采用形态成分分析并结合分块坐标松弛算法,能够实现实际采集高铁震源地震数据中的高铁震源地震信号和宽频带信号的分离.  相似文献

For 3‐D shallow‐water seismic surveys offshore Abu Dhabi, imaging the target reflectors requires high resolution. Characterization and monitoring of hydrocarbon reservoirs by seismic amplitude‐versus‐offset techniques demands high pre‐stack amplitude fidelity. In this region, however, it still was not clear how the survey parameters should be chosen to satisfy the required data quality. To answer this question, we applied the focal‐beam method to survey evaluation and design. This subsurface‐ and target‐oriented approach enables quantitative analysis of attributes such as the best achievable resolution and pre‐stack amplitude fidelity at a fixed grid point in the subsurface for a given acquisition geometry at the surface. This method offers an efficient way to optimize the acquisition geometry for maximum resolution and minimum amplitude‐versus‐offset imprint. We applied it to several acquisition geometries in order to understand the effects of survey parameters such as the four spatial sampling intervals and apertures of the template geometry. The results led to a good understanding of the relationship between the survey parameters and the resulting data quality and identification of the survey parameters for reflection imaging and amplitude‐versus‐offset applications.  相似文献

三维复杂山地条件下的各种地震波型的走时计算技术,可以直接用于复杂山地区域地震波运动学特性的分析、地震数据采集观测系统的设计以及直接基于三维复杂地表的地震数据处理技术的研发.为了在三维复杂地表条件下准确、灵活且稳定地计算各种地震波型的走时,提出一种多级次群推进迎风混合法.该算法利用不等距迎风差分法简洁稳定地处理三维复杂地表及附近的局部走时计算问题,利用计算精度不错的迎风双线性插值法处理绝大部分均匀正方体网格中的局部走时计算问题,利用群推进法模拟三维复杂地表条件下地震波前的扩展问题,利用多级次算法处理各种类型的地震波的走时计算问题.算法分析和计算实例表明:新方法具有很好的计算精度与效率,且能灵活稳定地处理三维复杂地表复杂介质条件下的多波型走时计算问题.  相似文献

本研究主要利用张衡一号电磁卫星(CSES)记录的电磁场波形数据,研发了电磁波波矢量分析工具,该工具包提供电磁波形频谱变换、奇异值分解(SVD)方法以及坡印廷能流计算功能.选取了张衡一号卫星在ULF/ELF/VLF频段观测到的哨声波、准周期辐射、电离层嘶声波等典型波动事件,开展了频谱分析和波矢量分析.通过与DEMETER卫星的对比观测研究,验证了算法的正确性,并且初步探讨了这些波动的传播特征,其结果也验证了张衡一号卫星在电磁场观测方面具有良好的性能.本研究研发的波矢量分析工具包可直接运用到张衡一号卫星的常规数据处理和科学分析应用中.  相似文献

Improving Seismic Resolution Through Array Processing Techniques   总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4  
Seismic arrays, first introduced in the late 1950s to detect underground nuclear explosions, have helped to improve our knowledge about the structure of the Earth for the last 40 years. During these years, numerous array processing methods have been developed that use the high signal coherence and accurate timing of array data to generate high-resolution images of Earth structure. Here, we present an overview of resolution issues related to seismic array studies of Earth structure by first introducing basic array processing techniques and then discussing more advanced techniques applied to array data recently. The increase of seismic stations deployed in experiments or permanently in many regions of the globe allows a much denser sampling of the seismic wavefield. This dense sampling enables the adaptation of controlled source analysis techniques for the study of Earth structure using earthquakes with higher resolution than previously possible. Here we will discuss different migration methods of teleseismic data that use the incidence angle information of scattered arrivals to obtain images of Earth structure. Finally, we show data examples how these methods can be used to increase our knowledge of the structure of the Earth’s deep interior.  相似文献

In the field of seismic interferometry, researchers have retrieved surface waves and body waves by cross‐correlating recordings of uncorrelated noise sources to extract useful subsurface information. The retrieved wavefields in most applications are between receivers. When the positions of the noise sources are known, inter‐source interferometry can be applied to retrieve the wavefields between sources, thus turning sources into virtual receivers. Previous applications of this form of interferometry assume impulsive point sources or transient sources with similar signatures. We investigate the requirements of applying inter‐source seismic interferometry using non‐transient noise sources with known positions to retrieve reflection responses at those positions and show the results using synthetic drilling noise as source. We show that, if pilot signals (estimates of the drill‐bit signals) are not available, it is required that the drill‐bit signals are the same and that the phases of the virtual reflections at drill‐bit positions can be retrieved by deconvolution interferometry or by cross‐coherence interferometry. Further, for this case, classic interferometry by cross‐correlation can be used if the source power spectrum can be estimated. If pilot signals are available, virtual reflection responses can be obtained by first using standard seismic‐while‐drilling processing techniques such as pilot cross‐correlation and pilot deconvolution to remove the drill‐bit signatures in the data and then applying cross‐correlation interferometry. Therefore, provided that pilot signals are reliable, drill‐bit data can be redatumed from surface to borehole depths using this inter‐source interferometry approach without any velocity information of the medium, and we show that a well‐positioned image below the borehole can be obtained using interferometrically redatumed reflection responses with just a simple velocity model. We discuss some of the practical hurdles that restrict the application of the proposed method offshore.  相似文献

In seismic exploration for coal data resolution is a fundamental problem. Modeling helps to understand those details of the geology that can be interpreted from the seismic image. For single seam exploration, the vertical resolution of a seismic section is defined by the bandwidth of the signals. If there are several seams, each seam acts as a high-pass filter for reflections and as a low-pass filter for transmitted waves. Synthetic seismograms show that reflections from deep seams have a low frequency content. Within a layered sequence of coal seams, many multiples are generated which disturb later primary reflections. The ratio of primaries to multiples depends on the frequency content of the seismic data and on the number of overlying seams. The multiple problem is more severe with high frequencies. Primary reflections from deep coal seams within a sequence can be detected only if low-frequency signals are used. However, the use of low-frequency signals reduces the resolution of the deeper data.  相似文献

Migration techniques, currently used in seismic exploration, are still scarcely applied in earthquake seismology due to the poor source knowledge and sparse, irregular acquisition geometries. At the crustal scale, classical seismological studies often perform inversions based on the arrival time of primary phases (P- and S-waves) but seldom exploit other information included in seismic records. Here we show how migration techniques can be adapted to earthquake seismology for converted wave analysis. As an example, we used data recorded by a dense local seismic network during the 2002 Molise aftershock sequence. In October and November 2002, two moderate magnitude earthquakes struck the Molise region (southern Italy), followed by an aftershock sequence lasting for about one month. Local earthquake tomography has provided earthquake hypocenter locations and three-dimensional models of P and S velocity fields. Strong secondary signals have been detected between first-arrivals of P- and S-waves and identified as SP transmitted waves. In order to analyse these waves, we apply a prestack depth migration scheme based on the Kirchhoff summation technique. Since source parameters are unknown, seismograms are equalized and only kinematic aspects of the migration process are considered. Converted wave traveltimes are calculated in the three-dimensional (3D) tomographic models using a finite-difference eikonal solver and back ray tracing. In the migrated images, the area of dominant energy conversion corresponds to a strong seismic horizon that we interpreted as the top of the Apulia Carbonate Platform and whose geometry and position at depth is consistent with current structural models from existing commercial seismic profiles, gravimetric and well data.  相似文献

We have developed a new stacking technique in ambient noise tomography to obtain high-quality dispersion curves of Rayleigh waves.This technique is used to stack the vertical components of the Estimated Green Functions(EGFs) obtained respectively from cross correlation of the ambient noise data recorded by a remote seismic station and one of the short distance seismic stations of a seismic array.It is based on a phase-matched filter and is implemented by a four-step iterative process:signal compression,stacking,signal extraction and signal decompression.The iterative process ends and gives the dispersion curve of Rayleigh wave when the predicted one and the processing result converge.We have tested the method using the vertical components of synthetic Rayleigh wave records.Results show that this new stacking method is stable and it can improve the quality of dispersion curves.In addition,we have applied this method to real data.We see that the results given by our new technique are obviously better than the ones employing the traditional method which is a three-step process:signal compression,signal extraction and signal decompression.In conclusion,the new method proposed in this paper can improve the signal to noise ratio of EGFs,and can therefore potentially improve the resolution of ambient noise tomography.  相似文献

Analyses of the POGO satellite magnetometer data have demonstrated the basic utility of such measurements to solid earth studies and provided the basis for Magsat, a new satellite specifically designed for such studies. Such data can play a useful role in the compilation, reduction, and analysis of magnetic survey data, especially at regional scales, and are complementary to those obtained in such surveys. However, the reduction and interpretation techniques for satellite magnetometer measurements differ significantly from the techniques routinely applied to conventional data. Although the unequal spacing, in three dimensions, of the satellite data and the variation in the direction and intensity of the main geomagnetic field pose some interpretation problems, these problems can be suitably handled by using modifications of several standard techniques. The variation in altitude of the satellite measurements can also be used to advantage in some analyses.  相似文献

The fast developing remote sensing techniques play an increasingly important role in earthquake emergency response, disaster survey and loss estimation. As there is a lack of quantitative studies on seismic damage based on remote sensing, its practicality in seismic disaster management has usually been questioned. The paper introduces the essential quantitative study idea, the concept of the remote sensing seismic damage index (DRS_I RS) and analysis models, demonstrates the seismic damage indices (DG_IC) of buildings obtained from ground surveying and its quantitative relation to DRS_I RS in Dujiangyan city, Sichuan Province, which was destroyed by the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake with M_S8.0. The primary results show that an obvious relationship exists between the DRS_I RS of buildings obtained from the high resolution satellite or aerial remote sensing images and DG_I C or the building collapse ratio obtained through ground survey, which suggests that the quantitative study on seismic damage based on remote sensing will provide an effective method for seismic damage survey and loss estimation.  相似文献

深反射地震是了解深部地质结构的主要手段,获取高品质的数据是给出合理地质解释的基础.在结晶岩地区,由于地层成层性差、非均质性严重,地震散射效应明显,导致地震波场复杂,同时结晶岩为非理想弹性体,不利于地震波能量转换,有效反射能量弱,信噪比低.加之深反射地震的目标层较深且受环境噪声干扰严重,高频信号衰减快,地震资料主频较低.这些因素使得在结晶岩区难以获得高品质的地震资料,为探索提高该类地区深反射地震资料质量的方法和技术,本文依托长江中下游成矿带2009—2014年深反射地震数据采集工作,在精细设计、严格施工的基础上,从激发和接收入手,开展了"轴向不耦合激发"、"宽频接收"和"宽线观测"等技术方法试验研究.结果表明,这些方法技术措施提高了下传弹性波能量,展宽了接收地震信号的频带,提高了覆盖次数和信噪比,有效改善了地震原始资料的品质和成像效果.研究结果对今后结晶岩地区深地震反射数据采集工作具有重要的实用价值和参考意义.  相似文献

浅层反射地震方法是城市活断层探测常用的技术,但在基岩埋深比较浅的地区,往往只能识别出基岩顶面的反射波,而仅根据反射地震剖面上单个同相轴的变化很难准确判定断层是否存在.浅层地层的错断往往会引起速度的横向变化,利用高分辨折射地震方法采集的数据,应用层析成像方法获得的速度剖面,能够反映地下速度结构的变化,可以从另一方面揭示浅层断层存在的可能性.在四川某地,将这两种方法同时应用于活断层浅层地震勘探中.结果表明,两种方法联合应用可在一定程度上弥补浅层反射地震勘探方法在基岩埋深较浅地区的不足.  相似文献

Seismic noise is a fundamental part of seismic data which cannot be avoided when conducting any seismic survey. It consists of coherent and random noise. Noise removal or filtering is one of the major concerns in the field of seismic processing. In this paper, we introduce an image filtering technique based on a detection-estimation algorithm for Gaussian and random noise removal in seismic data, namely the trilateral filter, based on a statistic called rank-ordered absolute differences. The non-linear and adaptive behaviour of this filter makes it very robust in the presence of random and coherent noise, in addition to its computational simplicity and its ability to automatically identify noise in data. We have modified the strategy of trilateral filtering by adapting the rank-ordered absolute differences formula in order to extract the signal component. We have successfully used this filter for the removal of surface waves and random spiky noise from synthetic and field data. Results are very encouraging and show the superiority of this filter compared with other filters, particularly when used recursively.  相似文献

高斯束逆时偏移结合了射线类偏移的高计算效率和波动方程逆时偏移的高精度,能很好地处理焦散点、大倾角成像问题,并且具有面向目标成像的能力.多分量地震资料的偏移技术可以对地下复杂构造进行更准确的成像,由于实际地下介质具有黏滞性,研究黏弹性叠前逆时偏移具有一定的现实意义.本文采用高斯束逆时偏移方法对多分量地震数据进行吸收衰减补偿,首先分别给出纵波和转换波共炮域高斯束叠前逆时偏移方法原理,在此基础上推导补偿吸收衰减的表达式,校正Q引起的振幅衰减和相位畸变,实现基于吸收衰减补偿的多分量高斯束叠前逆时偏移.数值模型的测试结果显示,在考虑地下介质的黏滞性时,本文方法具有更高的成像分辨率.  相似文献

Three-component seismic and geoelectrical in-mine surveys were carried out in Lyukobanya colliery near Miskolc, Hungary to determine the in situ petrophysical parameter distributions and to detect inhomogeneities in the coal seam. The seismic measurements comprise an underground vertical seismic profile, using body waves, and an in-seam seismic amplitude-depth distribution and transmission survey, using channel waves. The geoelectrical measurements are based on the drift- and seam-sounding method. Interval traveltime-, amplitude-, multiple-filter- and polarization analysis methods are applied to the seismic data. They lead to a five-layer model for the strata including the coal seam. The coal seam and two underlying beds act as a seismic waveguide. The layer sequence supports the propagation of both normal and leaky mode channel waves of the Love- and Rayleigh type. A calculation of the total reflected energy for each interface using Knott's energy coefficients shows that the velocity ranges of high reflection energy and of normal and leaky mode wavegroups coincide. The excitation of wavegroups strongly depends on the seismic source. A simultaneous inversion of a geoelectrical drift- and seam-sounding survey prevents misinterpretations of the seismic data by clearly identifying the low-velocity coal seam as a high-resistivity bed. Calculations of dispersion and sounding curves improve the resolution of the slowness and resistivity in each layer. Both diminished amplitudes and distortions in the polarization of transmission seismo-grams and decreasing resistivities in a geoelectrical pseudosection of the coal seam are related to an inhomogeneity. A calculation of synthetic seismograms for Love and Rayleigh channel waves with the finite-difference and the Alekseev-Mikhailenko method agrees well with the field data for the main features, i.e., particular arrivals in the wave train, wavegroups, velocities and symmetries or asymmetries. This in-mine experiment demonstrates that the simultaneous acquisition, processing and interpretation of seismic and geoelectrical data improve the lithological interpretation of petrophysical parameter distributions. Coal seam inhomogeneities can also be detected more reliably by the two independent surveys than by one alone.  相似文献

在海底地震仪(OBS,Ocean Bottom Seismometer)广角地震探测中,经常可以见到能量很强、连续性很好的多次波震相,但对于如何确定这些多次波的属性以及怎样充分利用它们来约束地下的结构特征,至今还缺乏详细的研究.本文利用南海北部已获取的OBS探测数据,对与地壳折射Pg震相近乎平行并紧随其后的二次反射Pg震相进行了系统分析研究,发现在实测OBS地震记录剖面上,二次反射Pg震相具有连续、清晰、可追踪偏移距较远(约60km以上)等特点,其地震波形和粒子运动轨迹与初至Pg震相相似,但二次反射Pg震相波形最大振幅值和粒子震动能量明显比初至Pg震相大.通过理论模型模拟以及对实测地震剖面三种不同反射层路径的走时计算,确定了二次反射Pg震相主要来自沉积层的反射.在此基础上,对二次反射Pg震相在地壳结构成像中的作用进行分析,发现加入二次反射Pg震相前后,由于反射震相的增加,沉积层界面的约束程度得到极大的提高;另外,通过对理论模型和实测剖面OBS2010地壳结构进行加入二次反射Pg震相前后的分辨率测试,结果发现加入二次反射Pg震相数据后,由于射线密度的增加,沉积层和上地壳结构的成像分辨率有显著改善.  相似文献

Random field cross‐correlation is a new promising technique for seismic exploration, as it bypasses shortcomings of usual active methods. Seismic noise can be considered as a reproducible, stationary in time, natural source. In the present paper we show why and how cross‐correlation of noise records can be used for geophysical imaging. We discuss the theoretical conditions required to observe the emergence of the Green's functions between two receivers from the cross‐correlation of noise records. We present examples of seismic imaging using reconstructed surface waves from regional to local scales. We also show an application using body waves extracted from records of a small‐scale network. We then introduce a new way to achieve surface wave seismic experiments using cross‐correlation of unsynchronized sources. At a laboratory scale, we demonstrate that body wave extraction may also be used to image buried scatterers. These works show the feasibility of passive imaging from noise cross‐correlation at different scales.  相似文献
