Tourism development surely has social, economic and environmental impacts on tourist destinations. The study on resorts residents‘ attitudes can help understand the nature of tourism development and the extent to which it may influence on tourist destinations. By now, researches on residents‘ perception and attitudes are plenteous in the international circle and achievements are great, yet few are found in developing countries. As a most representative cultural tourist destination, World Cultural Heritage-Xidi and Hong villages in Yi County of Anhui Province, are drawing the attention of both tourists and academic circles. This article, taking Xidi and Hong villages as examples, seeks to analyze ancient village residents‘ attitudes towards tourism impacts and then tries further to explore the connection between tourism development and residents‘ attitudes. Both qualitative and quantitative surveys are applied in the exploratory investigation into local residents‘ attitudes of tourism impacts. Based on abundant face-to-face interviews with the local households, tourism enterprises concerned, local government and tourists from July to August of 2002, we are able to have a better understanding of local residents‘ attitudes to community life, and perception of tourism impacts on society, economy and environment. By this we can promote domestic study on resorts residents‘ attitudes, and provide some theoretical grounds for establishing tourism development planning and perfect community participation system at tourist destinations.  相似文献

Based on the questionnaire investigation, the authors make a comparative study on local residents‘ perception of tourism impacts in Xidi, Zhouzhuang and Jiuhua Mountain. The result shows that residents of the three places tend to have strong and consistent perception of its positive economic, socio-cultural and environmental impacts, but distinctly diverse ones of its negative impacts. Residents in Xidi and Zhouzhuang also have noticeable perception of its negative environmental impacts while those in Jiuhua Mountain have weaker perception of them. The research confirms the fact that residents are more liable to have positive perceptions at the early stage of the life cycle of the tourist places. The authors conclude that there exists a nonlinear relationship between residents‘ perception and tourism development stages, and that tourism socio-cultural impact may appear at an early stage of tourism development instead of being no universal.  相似文献

There are more women than men in Renhe Town, about 40% of women have jobs. Young women under 30 years old are mainly industrial workers. The average years of education for all women over 6 years old are 6.03, but for man they are 7.64. The Women’s Federation of Renhe Town is a vital organization. What it has done plays an active role in raising women/s social status and encouraging women to take part in the community life. In the past, women mainly participated in different collective agricultural labour assigned by their carders. Women had not much chance to show their intelligence and wisdom. Since the policy of ’ reform and open door to the outside world’ was carried out women have had more and more chance to bring their abilities into full play and many women become capable persons of different trades and professions. Now, in Renhe, women are the main force of factories and dispensable part of all kinds of production work done in units of families.  相似文献

The agricultural land resources of China are relatively limited because of its large population. Therefore, balancing the land use for industrialization, urbanization, and food security is a big challenge. In recent years, rural hollowing in China has resulted in numerous of abandoned rural houses, and the areas with abandoned houses need to be restored into agricultural land with effective land consolidation techniques. This study used the method of benefit-cost analysis and the data collected through field surveys conducted in Yucheng City in the northwest of Shandong Province in March 2009,to examine how hollow villages (HVs) to be created and how to solve the problem. The qualitative and quantitative analyses indicate following results.1) The situation of HVs is becoming increasingly severe under rapid industrialization and urbanization in Yucheng City.2) Poor infrastructure in rural areas and incomplete urbanization are the main factors that have led to the rural hollowing in many major rural regions of China.3) In order to resolve the problem caused by HVs and increase agricultural land, reconstructing rural communities in the countryside is necessary.4) A new mechanism in the provision of compensation funds by developed regions to the villages in less-developed regions must be established.  相似文献

Based on Hagget's theory of spatial structure, researches on the nodes and field of tourist origins to Huang-cheng Village in Shanxi Province of China have been explored.Nodal hierarchy structure of tourist origins is analyzed with cluster analysis and the gravity model. And field of tourist origins is analyzed with attraction radius index(R)and geography concentration index(G).In the field analysis,R and G of Huangcheng Village are compared with Xidi Village that is a world heritage located in Huangshan City of Anhui Province in China.According to comparison of loca-tions of two areas, influential factors for field area of Huangcheng Village are identified. It is concluded that:1)cluster analysis and gravity model can be complementary methods to each other for nodal hierarchy structure analysis of tour-ist origins;and 2)as far as location is concerned, the weak intensity effect of tourism resources in the tourist region is a major cause for explaining why tourist origins to Huangcheng Village are mainly its neighboring areas. Moreover,it is suggested that the regional effect of tourist resources should be regarded as a component of destination attractiveness when applying gravity model.  相似文献

Since the 1980’s, two new trends have been emerging in the economic development of the Chinese ‘million’ cities. One is the development disparity, and the other is the industrial restructuring. Firstly, in terms of per capita GDP (Gross Domestic Product), 32 ‘million’ cities are classified into 4 types. The paper thinks there are 3 main causes which bring about the development disparity. Then, the paper approaches the industrial restructuring of the ‘million’ cities. In order to shrink the gap between the coastal ‘million’ cities and the interior ‘million’ cities, the paper thinks that the central government should pay most attention to the economic development of the inland, meanwhile, the interior ‘million’ cities should speed up the economic reform and industrial restructuring.  相似文献

In the development of Pudong, a strategic idea and goal ought to be fully realized, that is: with the development of Pudong as a lead, to further open up the cities along the Changjiang (Yangtze) River, build Shanghai into an international center for economy, finance and trade, thus to spark a new economic take- off in the Changjiang River Delta and the whole Changjiang River Basin. To develop Pudong, the infrastructure construction must be developed first; and the development of primary, secondary and teriary industries must be well coordinated. At present, the stress should be laid on tertiary sectors like finance, foreign trade, comerce, real estate, far-ocean transport, post and telecommunication, information and travelling service and so on. In the secondary industry, export processing and high and new technological industries should be put first, while the original raw-material industry should be improved in processing depth. As to the primary industry, a metropolitan suburban agriculture should be established. In spatial distribution, the present extension has been eastward along the Huangpu River axis. By the end of this century, five districts: Waigaoqiao-Gaoqiao, Qingningsi-Jinqiao, Lujiazui-Huamu, Zhoujiadu-Liuli and Beicai-Zhangjiang, will be developed. Meanwhile, it must be well coordinated between developing Pudong and reforming Puxi.  相似文献
