The orthopteran Allaboilus gigantus Ren and Meng, 2006 (Prophalangopsidae) is reported based on a male forewing from the Middle-Upper Jurassic Haifanggou Formation of Beipiao, western Liaoning, China. This discovery greatly extends the distribution of the species from Daohugou in Inner Mongolia eastwards to Beipiao in western Liaoning. It further provides new evidence for correlation of the Daohugou Beds with the Haifanggou Formation indicating a Callovian-early Oxfordian age for the Daohugou Beds.  相似文献

A new orthopteran species, Ashanga jiuquanensis Wang and Zhang sp. nov., is assigned to the subfamily Chifengiinae of Prophalangopsidae (Insecta: Orthoptera) and is reported based on male and female forewings from the Lower Cretaceous Zhonggou Formation in the Jiuquan Basin, Gansu Province, Northwest China. The discovery of the new species extends not only the age range of the subfamily Chifengiinae, but also the geographical distribution of the genus Ashanga.  相似文献

盔甲鱼类是古生代中期化石无颌类的主要类群,其分布主要限于我国境内以及越南北部。至目前为止,在我国已发现并鉴定的盔甲鱼类计有48属68种,其中志留纪14属19种,遍布川、陕、鄂、湘、皖、浙、赣、新等省;泥盆纪35属49种,遍布宁、川、黔、桂、滇等省(区)。本文不仅对含盔甲鱼类的地层进行了详细的对比研究,而且根据盔甲鱼类在中古生代地层中出现的先后顺序,自下而上划分了9个盔甲鱼化石组合与1个盔甲鱼层,并认为这些化石组合和盔甲鱼层之间的演替与当时环境条件的变化及古地理、古构造的变迁密不可分。另外,通过对盔甲鱼类形态学及古生态学的研究,认为盔甲鱼类应是一类行底栖滤食性生活、运动能力不强的类群,其主要生活环境为靠近古陆边缘的海域。由于其迁移扩散能力有限,宽广的陆地以及宽阔的海洋均成为其迁移、扩散的障碍,因此盔甲鱼类具有重要的古生物地理意义。最后,根据盔甲鱼类在我国的地理分布特征,并结合大地构造学及古地磁学方面的资料,对中古生代我国三大主要板块之间的古地理关系进行了初步的探讨性研究,结果表明:古生代中期中国三大板块具有十分密切的古地理关系,它们彼此相接或相邻,并同属于一个鱼类动物地理区系即泛华夏盔甲鱼类区系。  相似文献

A new species of Elcanidae (Orthoptera: Elcanoidea), Panorpidium yixianensis sp. nov., is described based on two new specimens from the Lower Cretaceous Yixian Formation of northeastern China. It differs from other species in forewing characters and spines on the hind tibiae. In addition, a new specimen Burmelcana sp., is described and figured based on an amber inclusion from the mid-Cretaceous Burmese (Myanmar) amber. P. yixianensis sp. nov. represents the first definite record of Elcanidae in the Early Cretaceous Jehol biota, and Panorpidium is the only genus of Ensifera to be found in the Early Cretaceous faunas of England, Russia and China.  相似文献

首次较系统报道了产于甘肃酒泉盆地下白垩统的植物化石,分为两个植物组合。Athrotaxites-Solenites组合产于赤金堡组上段,有Solenites luanpingensis Wang,Pityocladus cf.i waianus(ishi)Chow,Pityocladus sp.,Athrotaxites berryi Bell等,时代大致为早白垩世早期,反映潮湿或半干旱半潮湿气候。Brachyphyllum-Pseudofrenelopsis组合见于中沟组上部,包括Sphenopterissp.,Pseudofrenelopsis dalatzensis(Chowet Tsao)Cao ex Zhou,Cupressinocladus elegans(Chow)Chow,Cupressinocladus sp.,Pagiophyllumyumenense sp.nov.,Pagiophyllumcompressum sp.nov.,Pagiophyllum sp.,Brachyphyllumningshiaense Chow et Tsao,Brachyphyllumobtusum Chow et Tsao,Elatocladus sp.,Podozamites sp.,Carpolithus sp.等12种,时代为Aptian-Albian期,反映干旱型气候。  相似文献

根据多门类化石古生态和岩相、沉积构造等资料,分析了柴达木盆地北缘侏罗纪的古气候和沉积环境。介形类、轮藻、叶肢介、双壳类和植物等化石在地层中的产出特征反映了当时以湖沼及滨浅湖为主的沉积环境,广泛分布的植物及孢粉化石组合面貌的变化揭示出盆地北缘早、中侏罗世为热带-亚热带温湿气候,早侏罗世晚期和中侏罗世晚期古气候两度明显干热化。陆生植物与湖沼相动物化石的交替出现,反映了盆地北缘侏罗纪湖泊、沼泽与低山相间分布的古地理面貌。早侏罗世湖泊多期发育但规模较小,中侏罗世中晚期湖泊规模最大。  相似文献

湘东南汝城盆地为一早侏罗世—中侏罗世初期的陆相盆地。下侏罗统心田门组和高家田组主要为内陆湖泊—沼泽相碎屑岩沉积,夹有明显受地壳混染并具低钾高钠特征的板内拉斑玄武岩,表明早侏罗世汝城盆地为同造山上隆伸展裂陷盆地。中侏罗统千佛岩组与下伏高家田组为平行不整合接触关系。千佛岩组下部具类磨拉石沉积特征,上部局部含高家田组玄武质火山碎屑,地层呈西倾单斜式,盆地西缘为逆断裂所压覆等,表明中侏罗世初期汝城盆地为挤压收缩盆地,形成于造山构造环境。结合中生代地质构造发展框架及燕山早期晚阶段后造山花岗岩的大量发育等,认为湘东南及湘粤赣边区早侏罗世—中侏罗世初期属陆内同造山构造环境,中侏罗世早期—晚侏罗世为后造山构造环境。汝城盆地性质的确定对深入研究华南地区中生代构造演化具有重要的启示意义。  相似文献

ABSTRACT

The Ediacaran (ca. 635–541 Ma) was a critical period in Earth history, which saw a dramatic transformation in global biological, chemical and climatic conditions, making it one of the most intensively investigated time intervals worldwide. As the first mixed clastic–carbonate succession deposited on the Upper Yangtze Craton, the Ediacaran succession overlies Neoproterozoic continental rifts, and records a complex basin infill history. In this study, we focus on the tectonostratigraphic environment and basin infill process, integrating multiple data sets, including boreholes, outcrops, well correlations, seismic data, isopach maps and the spatial distribution of sedimentary facies. The Ediacaran System includes the Doushantuo Formation and overlying Dengying Formation which can be subdivided into four lithostratigraphic members (D1–D4). The Doushantuo Formation and D3 Member consist of mixed clastic–carbonate sediments, while carbonates predominate in the D1, D2 and D4 members. Intracratonic depressions and continental margin rifts dominated the Upper Yangtze area during the Ediacaran. During deposition of the Doushantuo Formation, the Upper Yangtze area contained a variety of environments, including terrigenous shorefaces, mixed tidal flats, lagoons, shelves, slopes and bathyal seas. A rimmed carbonate platform developed during deposition of the D1 and D2 members. The Deyang–Anyue Trough, which is related to post-rift subsidence in the intracratonic basin, began to develop in this interval. A relatively intense extension during deposition of the D3 Member resulted in intensification of intracratonic and continental margin rifting, creating distinct tidal flat, deep-water shelf, slope and bathyal environments. With the expansion of the Deyang–Anyue Trough during deposition of the D4 Member, the rimmed carbonate platform was divided into two segments. We suggest that the Deyang–Anyue Trough was a structurally controlled intracratonic rift-sag and likely arose from multiple episodes of rifting in the cratonic basement, as well as differential uplifting and exposure caused by the ongoing Tongwan Movement. Our model highlights the role of basement heritage on the structure and evolution of intracratonic rift-sag.  相似文献

志留系在黔西的分布范围很小,已知仅限于赫章县境内。赫章的志留系发育不全,由于缺少古生 物证据,其具体时代长期难以肯定。最近在赫章草子坪志留系中发现腕足动物、三叶虫和双壳类化石群。腕足 类研究结果显示,它应属于小莱采贝动物群(Retziella Fauna) 和新建立的Nikiforovaena Retziella组合。该化石层 下伏紫红色泥岩地层。这段近岸、浅水、杂色碎屑岩层在岩性上与滇东曲靖的关底组类同,可部分对比,推测 其时代为罗德洛世晚期(Late Ludlow),但不宜另立新名,仍称关底组为好。在讨论关底组含义之后,笔者赞同 取消岳家山组的意见。对赫章志留系具体时代的确定使对华南志留纪晚期岩相古地理的传统认识得到修正,罗 德洛世晚期的海侵从滇东的曲靖地区扩大到黔西的赫章一带。  相似文献

中国甘肃省酒泉地区公婆泉盆地下白垩统新民堡群的恐龙化石主要由1992年中日丝绸之路恐龙考察计划和1997~2000年中美马鬃山恐龙考察计划发掘和研究。先后发现的恐龙包括兽脚类、蜥脚类、禽龙类和新角龙类等。这一新的公婆泉恐龙组合的主要特征是同时包含了在晚白垩世占主导地位的几类恐龙的基干分子,如戈壁巨龙(Gobititan)是巨龙型类的基干分子,马鬃龙(Equijubus)是鸭嘴龙型类的基干分子,而古角龙(Archaeoceratops)和黎明角龙(Auroraceratops)是新角龙类的基干分子。公婆泉恐龙组合的另一特征是其某些成员的体型较大,如似鸟龙类和镰刀龙类恐龙是同期同类中最大的。比较研究发现,公婆泉盆地新民堡群的恐龙和辽西热河群的恐龙关系密切,但前者的整体来说要比后者进步。考虑到公婆泉盆地新民堡群的时代(Albian)较辽西热河群(Hauterivian晚期-Aptian早期)晚,公婆泉恐龙组合似应代表中国北方早白垩纪鹦鹉嘴龙恐龙动物群进化过程中较进步的一个阶段。  相似文献

盐源盆地始新世丽江组沉积时期发育了一套具大型高角度交错层理的红色砂岩,其确切成因对于厘定青藏高原东缘古近纪古地理格局、恢复东亚新生代干旱带与古气候演化过程具有重要意义。文中通过对盐源盆地始新统丽江组红色砂岩的沉积特征进行系统分析,证明该套砂岩的岩性、粒度分布、石英颗粒表面特征与沉积构造等明显不同于水成沉积,而与典型风成沙丘相应特征完全一致,表明其为风成沙丘沉积。结合古近纪研究区的古气候条件、大气环流样式与大地构造背景,笔者进一步推断盐源盆地始新世风成沙丘可能沉积于中国古近纪干旱带内的沙漠环境。根据目前相关研究资料,确认青藏高原东缘存在一个厚度稳定的古近纪风成沙丘富集带。  相似文献

Fossil caridean shrimp of Palaemonidae are reasonably common in Cretaceous and Oligocene deposits of Brazil. Reexamination of species assigned to Pseudocaridinella Martins-Neto and Mezzalira, 1991b, indicate that a new genus, Bahiacaris n. gen., must accommodate one of the referred species, Bahiacaris roxoi new combination. Palaemonidae invaded freshwater in South America by the late Early Cretaceous.  相似文献

This work provides the first detailed taxonomic study of ostracod species from the Shenjiatun section (Nenjiang Formation, Songliao Basin, northeast China). Ten species belonging to seven genera are recognized. At the species level, this ostracod fauna shows a high degree of endemicity. The ontogeny of two species is recognized in this study, and sexual dimorphism within Daqingella arca is unequivocally recognized for the first time. The ostracod fauna suggests that this fossil-bearing sedimentary succession should be assigned to members 3–4 (Campanian) of the Nenjiang Formation (mainly Member 3) instead of representing ‘Quaternary sediments’ as previously thought. On the basis of the ostracod fauna, Member 3 of the Nenjiang Formation at Shenjiatun represents a shallow-littoral, lacustrine depositional environment that, at least in the upper part of Member 3, potentially included less stable conditions characterized by smaller, ephemeral waterbodies and increased (non-marine, oligohaline) salinities through evaporation.  相似文献

The attributes of a ‘four-systems-tract’ sequence are at times difficult to identify in outcrop-scale carbonate successions. Poor exposure conditions, variable rates of sediment production, erosion and/or superposition of surfaces that are intrinsic to the nature of carbonate systems frequently conceal or remove its physical features. The late Early–Middle Aptian platform carbonates of the western Maestrat Basin (Iberian Chain, Spain) display facies heterogeneity enabling platform, platform-margin and slope geometries to be identified, and provide a case study that shows all the characteristics of a quintessential four systems tract-based sequence. Five differentiated systems tracts belonging to two distinct depositional sequences can be recognized: the Highstand Systems Tract (HST) and Forced Regressive Wedge Systems Tract (FRWST) of Depositional Sequence A; and the Lowstand Prograding Wedge Systems Tract (LPWST), Transgressive Systems Tract (TST) and subsequent return to a highstand stage of sea-level (HST) of Depositional Sequence B. An extensive carbonate platform of rudists and corals stacked in a prograding pattern marks the first HST. The FRWST is constituted by a detached, slightly cross-bedded calcarenite situated at the toe of the slope in a basinal position. The LPWST is characterized by a small carbonate platform of rudists and corals downlapping over the FRWST and onlapping landwards. The TST exhibits platform backstepping and marly sedimentation. Resumed carbonate production in shelf and slope settings characterizes the second HST. A basal surface of forced regression, a subaerial unconformity, a correlative conformity, a transgressive surface and a maximum flooding surface bound these systems tracts, and are well documented and widely mappable across the platform-to-basin transition area analyzed. Moreover, the sedimentary succession studied is made up of four types of parasequence that constitute stratigraphic units deposited within a higher-frequency sea-level cyclicity. Ten lithofacies associations form these basic accretional units. Each facies assemblage can be ascribed to an inferred depositional environment in terms of bathymetry, hydrodynamic conditions and trophic level. The architecture of the carbonate platform systems reflects a flat-topped non-rimmed depositional profile. Furthermore, these carbonate shelves are interpreted as having been formed in low hydrodynamic conditions. The long-term relative fall in sea-level occurred during the uppermost Early Aptian, which subaerially exposed the carbonate platform established during the first HST and resulted in the deposition of the FRWST, is interpreted as one of global significance. Moreover, a possible relationship between this widespread sea-level drop and glacio-eustasy seems plausible, and could be linked to the cooling event proposed in the literature for the late Early Aptian. Because of the important implications in sequence stratigraphy of this study, the sedimentary succession analyzed herein could serve as an analogue for the application of the four-systems-tract sequence stratigraphic methodology to carbonate systems.  相似文献

The late Middle Anisian Daonella fengshanensis sp. nov. from the upper part of the Lower Member of the Banna Formation near Jinya in northwestern Guangxi, southwestern China, represents the earliest appearance of Daonella in this region. With regard to stratigraphical occurrence as well as morphological features the new species is in a transitional position between Enteropleura and more derived species of Daonella. The new species is an early representative of the genus Daonella and regarded as phylogenetically being near the genus’ origin. It is characterised by a small posterior auricle similar to Enteropleura and flat-topped radial ribs resembling later species of Daonella. Its anterior shell sector is large. The shell sculpture of juvenile stages closely resembles both Daonella and Enteropleura, supporting the hypothesis that Daonella may have evolved from Enteropleura.  相似文献

Mud volcanoes have provided much meaningful information about the deep Earth and the recent crustal and neotectonic movements in an area for over 200 years. However, the triggering mechanisms have puzzled geologists for a long time. This study investigated the factors controlling mud volcano activity and the triggering mechanisms of mud volcano eruptions on the southern margin of the Junggar Basin, NW China. The Baiyanggou, Aiqigou and Dushanzi mud volcanoes are all located along the Dushanzi Anticline, which belongs to the third anticline belt on the southern margin of the basin. The extensive, thick mudstone at depth provides a wealth of material for the formation of mud volcanoes. Simultaneously, the overpressure serves as the driving force for the eruption of the mud volcanoes. The torsional–compressional stress field created by the collision between the Indian and Eurasian plates not only enhanced the abnormal formational pressure in the region but also lead to the development of extensional faults in the core of the Dushanzi Anticline, which served as the conduits for the mud volcanoes. The continuous collision between the Indian and Eurasian plates and the regional torsional–compressional stress field may largely control the cyclical activity of the mud volcanoes and serve as their primary trigger mechanism. 对鹰嘴砬子组层型剖面进行了重新测制,系统采集了古生物化石。研究证明该组所产脊椎动物、无脊椎动物、植物和孢粉化石组合与Eosestheria-Epicharmeropsis-Lycoptera (EEL)组合为代表的热河生物群一致,代表了中国最东部的热河生物群化石产地,地质时代应为早白垩世,而不是前人划归的晚侏罗世。孢粉学和年代地层学研究资料进一步表明,鹰嘴砬子组地质时代应为早白垩世Hauterivian-Barremian期。鹰嘴砬子组区域上可与辽西义县组、冀北大店子组—西瓜园组及龙江盆地光华组对比。  相似文献
