中国自然资源学会2006年学术年会于11月1日．2日在福建师范大学隆重召开。本次会议由中国自然资源学会和福建师范大学共同主办．福建师范大学地理科学学院、福建省自然资源学会、福建省亚热带资源与环境重点实验室共同承办。本届年会的主题是“创新资源科技,促进和谐发展”。来自全国各地科研院所、高校和管理部门的360余位代表出席了会议,会议收到学术论文210余篇。

中国自然资源学会2007年学术年会于7月28日-30日在西安举行。本次会议山中国自然资源学会主办,陕西师范大学承办,中国科学院地理科学与资源研究所协办。年会的主题是“推动资源科学创新,促进社会和谐发展”。来自全国各地140多个科研院所、高校和管理部门的500余位代表出席了会议,会议收到学术论文480余篇。这是历次年会规模最大、分会场设置和学术报告人数最多的一次学术盛会。

2007 Annual Meeting of the Geographical Society of China （GSC） was held on November 2-4 in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province of East China. A total of over 1300 geographical researchers and educators from 190 geographical institutions across the country participated in this meeting. More than 800 papers were submitted and discussed during this academic meeting. This meeting was co-sponsored by the GSC, Nanjing Normal University, Nanjing Institute of Geography and Limnology under the Chinese Academy of Sciences （CAS）, Nanjing University, and Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research （IGSNRR） under the CAS.     

中国地理学会2008学术年会在长春召开

The 2008 Annual Meeting of the Geographical Society of China （GSC） was held on July 13-15 in Changchun, Jilin Province of Northeast China. A total of over 1000 geographical researchers and educators from Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Australia participated in this meeting. More than 400 papers were submitted and discussed during this academic meeting. This meeting was co-sponsored by the GSC, Northeast Institute of Geography and Agricultural Ecology （NEIGAE） under the CAS, Northeast Normal University, and Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research （IGSNRR） under the CAS. As an important part of the 2008 annual meeting, the 3rd Annual Academic Conference on Geography for Postgraduates was given a response from more than 200 postgraduates in universities and academic institutions.

2006 Annual Academic Conference of China Society of Natural Resources （CSNR） was held on November 1-2 in Fuzhou, Fujian Province of Southeast China. 资源产业化开发与生态环境建设会议在西安召开

由中国地理学会自然地理专业委员会主持召开的"资源产业化开发与生态环境建设"会议于1998年10月10日～14日在西安召开,来自全国科研和教育单位的69位代表参加了会议.围绕这次会议主题"资源产业化开发与生态环境建设",共收到论文64篇,有31人在大会作了交流.自然地理专业委员会主任郑度研究员就自然地理学的主要研究进展与若干前沿领域作了专题发言,自然地理专业委员会副主任兼秘书长申元村研究员总结了自然地理专业委员会近年的主要工作,并对自然地理专业委员会下一步活动作了安排.代表们探讨了以下4个方面的学科新生长点:     

The Academic Conference and the Status of Women: The Annual Meetings of the Israeli Geographical Society*

The academic conference, a site of possible changes in professional knowledge and hierarchy, is an area of academic life rarely studied. Through three main concerns this article illuminates this point for the first time with respect to the status of women and gender research at the last thirty‐two annual meetings of the Israeli Geographical Society. First, although men still present the majority of the conference papers, women have increased their share and now constitute one‐third of all active participants. Second, women's appearance as chairs of sessions and keynote speakers is significantly lower in proportion to their overall participation in the conference, and they are consistently more involved in its less prestigious aspects. Third, the production of geographic knowledge as reflected in conference papers is gendered, but its pattern differs from that in academia in general. The findings reveal a new facet of the gendered construction of academic life in general, and of Israeli geography in particular, and offer new avenues to revealing the impact of social exclusion on academia.

2014 Annual Meeting of the Geographical Society of China Held in Chengdu,China:The first full mobilization for the 33rd International Geographical Congress

On October 24-26,2014,the annual meeting of the Geographical Society of China (GSC) was held in Chengdu,Southwest China.There were more than 1,700 geographical experts,scholars and graduate students from nearly 400 institutions all over the country participating in the event.The opening ceremony was hosted by Professor Wei DENG,Chairman of the Organizing Committee and Head of the Chengdu Institute of Mountain Hazards and Environment,Chinese Academy of Sciences,where Professor Yanhua LIU,President of GSC and Counselor of the State Council of China,gave an opening speech and Professor Jieming ZHOU,School Board Director of Sichuan Normal University,made a welcoming address.Honorary Presidents of GSC,Academician Changming LIU,Academician Dadao LU,Vice-Presidents of GSC,Academician Bojie FU,Academician Peng CUI,and other GSC leaders attended the meeting.
