This paper is a companion to Clark (1988; hereafter Part I) which described the evolution of the Tejeda Magmatic System (TMS), a Miocene caldera complex, Gran Canaria, Spain, based on geochronologic, paleomagnetic and field data. In this study, petrochemical data are used to corroborate the history out-lined in Part I. Geochemical discriminant analysis shows that whereas the Extra-Caldera (EC) Mogan/Fataga volcanics are separated by a composition gap, no composition gap exists within the Intra-Caldera (IC) sequence. IC ignimbrites change rapidly but progressively from pantellerites and comendites to comenditic trachytes and finally to trachytes in a 0.47 Ma time interval. Significantly, the lower pantelleritic part of the IC series is similar to the EC pantellerites (units B, C and D) as expected based on results from Part I. The appearance of a compositional gap in the EC sequence is the result of flows having been trapped within the caldera during the 0.47 Ma Mogan-Fataga transition interval. The transitional IC sequence may be geochemically modelled by mixing of Mogan comendites and Fataga trachytes. The mixing was most probably induced by the high discharge of magma from the compositionally-zoned Tejeda magma body. The rate of change in erupted composition is best explained by imagining a continuous influx of Fataga or parental Fataga magma into a chamber whose previous silicic component (Mogan composition) was no longer being replenished and that the two magmas did not convectively mix prior to eruption. Repose times between successive eruptions in the lower to middle Mogan (from P1/T1 to A) were of order 30 000 a; the upper Mogan pantellerites and comendites/comenditic trachytes (B to F?) erupted once every 125 000 years or so. The longer repose time for the upper units is consistent with their more differentiated character.  相似文献

New gravity and aeromagnetic data from Mt Etna volcano are presented which provide evidence for and constraints on relatively dense, high magnetization bodies at shallow levels below the summit craters. These are modelled and interpreted in terms of dyke/sill complexes, which may be the sites of short-term magma storage. A similar but larger body with high density and high magnetization is modelled below the southern wall of the Valle de Bove and may be the remnant of a prehistoric storage system. This body is close to the Valle del Bove, a major collapse feature, and may have influenced its geometry by buttressing and/or focusing zones of weakness.  相似文献

铟作为支撑新兴高科技产业发展的关键金属,主要应用于电子工业、半导体、焊料合金及航空航天等领域,对国家安全和经济发展至关重要。当前铟的重要来源是与花岗质岩浆有关的锡多金属矿床,其中铟的富集程度远超其他类型矿床。文章在简要概括铟矿床类型的基础上,探讨了铟在岩浆-热液系统各演化阶段的富集过程以及锡、铟同步富集的原因。在岩浆演化过程中,如果有黑云母、角闪石等铟的主要载体矿物发生分离结晶,铟的成矿潜力便会被大大削弱。当铟进入成矿流体后,铟的氯化物、氟化物和氢氧化物对铟的搬运有重要作用,流体的温度、pH值以及金属配体的种类和浓度是控制铟迁移和沉淀的重要因素。而当铟从流体中沉淀时,因四次配位的In3+与贱金属硫化物(闪锌矿、黄铜矿、黝铜矿等矿物)中四次配位的金属离子更相似,造成大量的铟以类质同象替换的方式进入硫化物而与锡发生分离;沉淀后的含铟矿物在后期地质过程中可能经历铟的重新活化、迁移和扩散等过程,导致铟再次富集。铟的富集过程与锡有关,这可能是由于铟和锡具有相似的地球化学性质,二者在表生环境中活动性弱,会滞留在经历化学风化的富黏土的沉积岩中,这样的沉积岩经变质作用会形成大量的云母类矿物,而黑云母作...  相似文献

The partitioning of Zr between clinopyroxenes and hydrous, intermediate magmatic liquids was investigated in a series of experiments at 9–10 kbar and 950°–1000°C. The mean of seven measurements of the clinopyroxene/melt partition coefficient is 0.27, in good agreement with estimates based on phenocryst/ matrix concentration ratios in natural rocks.  相似文献

Melt composition control of Zr/Hf fractionation in magmatic processes   总被引:9,自引:0,他引:9  
Zircon (ZrSiO4) and hafnon (HfSiO4) solubilities in water-saturated granitic melts have been determined as a function of melt composition at 800° and 1035°C at 200 MPa. The solubilities of zircon and hafnon in metaluminous or peraluminous melts are orders of magnitude lower than in strongly peralkaline melt. Moreover, the molar ratio of zircon and hafnon solubility is a function of melt composition. Although the solubilities are nearly identical in peralkaline melts, zircon on a molar basis is up to five times more soluble than hafnon in peraluminous melts. Accordingly, calculated partition coefficients of Zr and Hf between zircon and melt are nearly equal for the peralkaline melts, whereas for metaluminous and peraluminous melts DHf/DZr for zircon is 0.5 to 0.2. Consequently, zircon fractionation will strongly decrease Zr/Hf in some granites, whereas it has little effect on the Zr/Hf ratio in alkaline melts or similar depolymerized melt compositions.The ratio of the molar solubilities of zircon and hafnon for a given melt composition, temperature, and pressure is proportional to the Hf/Zr activity coefficient ratio in the melt. The data imply that this ratio is nearly constant and probably close to unity for a wide range of peralkaline and similar depolymerized melts. However, it changes by a factor of two to five over a relatively small interval of melt compositions when a nearly fully polymerized melt structure is approached. For most ferromagnesian minerals in equilibrium with a depolymerized melt, DHf > DZr. Typical values of DHf/DZr range from 1.5 to 2.5 for clinopyroxene, amphibole, and titanite. Because of the change in the Hf/Zr activity ratio in the melt, the relative fractionation of Zr and Hf by these minerals will disappear or even be reversed when the melt composition approaches that of a metaluminous or peraluminous granite. It is thus not surprising that fractional crystallization of such granitic magmas leads to a decrease in Zr/Hf, whereas fractional crystallization of depolymerized melts tends to increase Zr/Hf. There is no need to invoke fluid metasomatism to explain these effects. Results demonstrate that for ions with identical charge and nearly identical radius, crystal chemistry does not alone determine relative compatibilities. Rather, the effect of changing activity coefficients in the melt may be comparable to or even larger than elastic strain effects in the crystal lattice.  相似文献

Most titanomagnetite in the Khibina alkaline igneous complex, sampled through 500 m of a vertical cross-section, is represented by Ti-rich varieties. The ulvöspinel component is most commonly around 55 mol%, rarely reaching up to 80 mol%.

We calculated an fO2T diagram for magnetite + ilmenite + titanite + clinopyroxene + nepheline + alkali feldspar and magnetite + titanite+ clinopyroxene + nepheline + alkali feldspar phase assemblages at a hedenbergite activity of 0.2. The diagram shows that magnetites with 55 mol% of ulvöspinel crystallized at oxygen fugacities just slightly below the quartz–fayalite–magnetite buffer. More Ti-rich varieties crystallized at higher temperatures and slightly lower ΔQMF values, whereas more Ti-poor magnetites crystallized at or below about 650 °C.

Under the redox conditions estimated for the apatite-bearing intrusion of the Khibina complex (close to the QFM buffer), substantial quantities of methane may only form during cooling below 400 °C in equilibrium with magma. However, even at higher orthomagmatic temperatures and redox conditions corresponding to ΔQMF = 0, the hydrogen content in the early magmatic stage is not negligible. This hydrogen present in the gas phase at magmatic temperatures may migrate to colder parts of a solidifying magma chamber and trigger Fischer-Tropsch-type reactions there. We propose therefore, that methane in peralkaline systems may form in three distinct stages: orthomagmatic and late-magmatic in equilibrium with a melt and — due to Fischer-Tropsch-type reactions — post-magmatic in equilibrium with a local mineral assemblage.  相似文献

The paper presents pioneering data on the composition of pyroxenes and the distribution of trace elements in this mineral in small geological bodies that were formed by single magma injections and their subsequent rapid crystallization: the Niva intrusion and an agpaitic syenite dyke. The pyroxene is highly alkaline and shows continuous compositional trends with an increase in the aegirine concentration. The Ti concentrations of the pyroxene are much higher than in pyroxenes in agpaitic syenites in other alkaline complexes. In spite of the fact that the pyroxene is hosted in small bodies, the evolution of these pyroxenes was similar to that of pyroxenes in the Lovozero and Khibina alkaline massifs.  相似文献

岩浆作用是联系地球深部与表层碳储库的桥梁,是全球碳循环的重要一环。揭示岩浆作用与碳循环之间的关系对理解地球系统演化过程中的环境效应和气候变化有重要意义。本文综述了前人在岩浆系统研究的重要进展,介绍了陆内穿地壳岩浆系统,梳理了从幔源岩浆底侵和地壳熔融,到岩浆上升、累积、混合、分异直至喷出等物理化学过程,构建了地壳岩浆活动的统一框架。岩浆过程同时控制着挥发分行为,岩浆自身的去气作用将地球深部挥发分带到地表,而接触热变质作用可改造围岩并将其中的碳脱出。基于穿地壳岩浆系统,本文系统阐述了岩浆挥发分的来源、组成、行为,及其释放到大气中对气候与环境产生的潜在影响。尤其是针对中国华南地区分布的大量陆内中生代的侵入岩和火山岩,结合同期广泛分布的巨厚碳酸盐岩,介绍和展望了陆内岩浆系统和去气作用的联系及环境效应,提出该时期的岩浆活动及其与碳酸盐岩的反应很可能对局部乃至全球的气候造成了显著的影响,该领域有较大研究潜力。  相似文献

晚二叠世峨眉山地幔柱岩浆作用同时形成了Cu-Ni-PGE硫化物矿床和V-Ti-Fe氧化物矿床等不同类型的岩浆矿床。从硫化物矿床的PGE富集型、Cu-Ni-PGE富集型到Cu-Ni富集型,再到钒钛磁铁矿矿床,成矿基性-超基性岩体中基性岩石比例逐渐增加,PGE含量降低。铜镍铂族硫化物矿床具Nb和Ta负异常,岩浆流体组分含量较高,含有较高的H2;而钒钛磁铁矿矿床具Nb、Ta和Ti正异常,Zr和Hf负异常,岩浆流体组分含量较低,含有较高的H2O、CO2和H2。两类矿床强不相容元素和轻稀土元素(LREE)富集,Sr-Nd同位素组成与峨眉山玄武岩的演化趋势一致。Sr-Nd-Os-C-He同位素组成揭示岩浆上升过程中经历了不同程度的地壳混染,高钛玄武岩和钒钛磁铁矿矿床成矿岩体的地壳混染程度较低,部分低钛玄武岩和铜镍硫化物矿床存在明显的地壳混染。这两类岩浆矿床的形成与峨眉山地幔柱玄武岩浆有关,岩浆介质环境中H2含量较高,V-Ti-Fe 氧化物矿床的形成与分离结晶、高含量的水和氧逸度的升高有关,Cu-Ni-(PGE)硫化物矿床的形成与还原性流体介质、结晶分异和地壳混染作用有关。  相似文献

This study demonstrates that the base of the Archean deep-seated granulite complexes within the Siberian craton consists of a metabasite-enderbite association. The major and trace element distribution patterns revealed that the protoliths of this association are represented by calc-alkaline andesites and dacites, containing several minor sequences of komatiitic-tholeiitic volcanic rocks. The origin of the primary volcanic rocks of the metabasite-enderbite association is inferred on the basis of a model of mantle plume magmatism, which postulates that both andesitic and dacitic melts were derived from the primary basitic crust at the expense of heat generated by ascending mantle plumes. The formation of the protoliths of the Archen metabasite-enderbite association of the Siberian craton began at 3.4 Ga and continued until the late Archean.  相似文献

This study documents the chemical and textural responses of zircon in the Elba igneous complex, with particular reference to the 7- to 7.8-Ma-old Monte Capanne pluton in relation to its coeval volcanic counterpart (Capraia), using BSE imaging and quantitative electron microprobe analyses. The Monte Capanne pluton displays multiple field and geochemical evidence for magma mixing. The samples we have investigated (including monzogranitic, mafic enclave and dyke samples) display similar zircon textures and are associated with an extremely large range of trace and minor element (Hf, Y, HREE, Th, U) compositions, which contrast with relatively simple textures and zoning patterns in zircons from a Capraia dacite. We have used a relatively simple textural classification (patchy zoning, homogenous cores, oscillatory zoning and unzoned zircon) as the basis for discussing the chemical composition and chemical variation within zircons from the Monte Capanne pluton. Based on these data and other works (Dini et al. 2004 in Lithos 78:101–118, 2004) , it is inferred that mixing between metaluminous and peraluminous melts occurred early in the evolution of the Monte Capanne magma chamber. In particular, mixing was responsible for the development of the patchy-zoning texture in the zircon cores, which was associated with reactions between other accessory phases (including monazite, apatite, allanite), which we infer to have significantly affected the Th distribution in zircon. Zircons from the MC pluton displaying “homogeneous cores” have chemical affinities with zircons in the coeval Capraia volcanic system, consistent with the participation of a Capraia-like mantle end-member during mixing. Further zircon growth in the MC pluton produced the oscillatory zoning texture, which records both long-term (crystal fractionation) and transient (recharge with both silicic and mafic magmas) events in a hybrid magma chamber. It is inferred that Hf and the Th/U ratio cannot be used alone to infer magmatic processes due to their dependency on temperature, nor are they a diagnostic feature of xenocrystic grains. This study shows that zircon chemistry coupled with detailed textural analysis can provide a powerful tool to elucidate the complex evolution of a magma system.  相似文献

Based on a review of the available petrological and petrochemical data on magmatic rocks in a certain region in China, the average chemical composition of them has been calculated, and the frequency distribution of elements in the rocks, the mineralization of rock bodies and the regional geochemical characteristics have been discussed. In response to temporal and spatial variations during the evolutionary process of magmatic activity, a systematic variation is obvious from this study in the chemical composition of magmatic rocks, the frequency distribution patterns of elements, the concentration levels of various elements and the calc-alkali index of the rocks as well as in the average atomic weight and average atomic valence. Particularly, different geochemical indicators have been established for mineralized and barren rock bodies, respectively. Crystallization-differentiation and post-magmatic metasomatism constitute the most important mechanism controlling mineralization.  相似文献

大型-超大型岩浆硫化物矿床的形成需要满足3个基本条件:(1)大量幔源岩浆参与成矿;(2)岩浆演化导致硫化物熔离;(3)硫化物在有限空间聚集。然而,除Sudbury矿床外,全球与镁铁质岩浆有关的超大型铜镍硫化物矿床都发现于小的镁铁-超镁铁岩体中。近10年来的研究表明这些含矿岩体实际上都是岩浆通道系统的一部分,中国金川、杨柳坪、喀拉通克、红旗岭等大型和超大型Ni-Cu-(PGE)硫化物矿床都形成于岩浆通道系统中,正是岩浆通道这样特殊的开放系统为大规模岩浆硫化物矿床提供了成矿条件。总结国内外最新研究结果,可以发现与成矿有关的岩浆通道系统都分布在深大断裂附近,大规模的幔源岩浆补充与地幔柱、大陆裂谷、碰撞造山后伸展等地质事件有密切的关系。尽管研究证明硫化物熔离都与地壳物质的混染有关,但矿石各种元素的品位却受母岩浆性质、硫化物熔离强度、与新注入镁铁质岩浆反应、以及硫化物本身结晶分异等多重因素的影响;含矿岩体和硫化物矿体的形态和大小都强烈地受围岩地质特征的控制。进一步明确这类矿床的地质特征、形成机制、成矿背景和成矿标志,对未来的研究和找矿工作都是非常必要的。  相似文献

Piston-cylinder experiments on a Pleistocene adakite from Mindanao in the Philippines have been used to establish near-liquidus and sub-liquidus phase relationships relevant to conditions in the East Philippines subduction zone. The experimental starting material belongs to a consanguineous suite of adakitic andesites. Experiments were conducted at pressures from 0.5 to 2 GPa and temperatures from 950 to 1,150°C. With 5 wt. % of dissolved H2O in the starting mix, garnet, clinopyroxene and orthopyroxene are liquidus phases at pressures above 1.5 GPa, whereas clinopyroxene and orthopyroxene are liquidus (or near-liquidus) phases at pressures <1.5 GPa. Although amphibole is not a liquidus phase under any of the conditions examined, it is stable under sub-liquidus conditions at temperature ≤1,050°C and pressures up to 1.5 GPa. When combined with petrographic observations and bulk rock chemical data for the Mindanao adakites, these findings are consistent with polybaric fractionation that initially involved garnet (at pressures >1.5 GPa) and subsequently involved the lower pressure fractionation of amphibole, plagioclase and subordinate clinopyroxene. Thus, the distinctive Y and HREE depletions of the andesitic adakites (which distinguish them from associated non-adakitic andesites) must be established relatively early in the fractionation process. Our experiments show that this early fractionation must have occurred at pressures >1.5 GPa and, thus, deeper than the Mindanao Moho. Published thermal models of the Philippine Sea Plate preclude a direct origin by melting of the subducting ocean crust. Thus, our results favour a model whereby basaltic arc melt underwent high-pressure crystal fractionation while stalled beneath immature arc lithosphere. This produced residual magma of adakitic character which underwent further fractionation at relatively low (i.e. crustal) pressures before being erupted.  相似文献

Summary Analytical data on the composition of plagioclase from the lower part of the Upper Zone in the eastern Bushveld Complex is presented. Detailed electron microprobe investigations failed to establish any cyclic variation through that sequence but revealed similar variations in An content, potassium and iron concentrations below and above magnetite layers. These findings can be attributed to the heterogeneous nature of the plagioclase both within individual grains and within a given sample, which would mask any possible trends of cryptic variation. The Sr concentration and Sr/Al2O3 ratio of plagioclase, determined by XRF on plagioclase separates, however change slightly at the level of the Main Magnetite Layer, which can possibly be related to the breakdown of density stratified liquid layers within the resident magma. Analyses of plagioclase separates are thus considered to be more suitable to indicate magmatic processes than plagioclase compositions determined by electron microprobe.

Zusammenfassung Analytische Daten von Plagioklasen aus dem unteren Teil der Upper Zone im östlichen Bushveld Komplex werden präsentiert. Detaillierte Untersuchungen mittels Elektronen-strahl-Mikrosonde ergaben keine Hinweise auf eine zyklische Variation in dieser Abfolge, zeigten aber eine dänliche Variation des An-Gehaltes, Bowie der Kalium- und Eisengehalte im Liegenden und Hangenden von Magnetitlagen. Dies läßt sich mit der heterogenen Natur der Plagioklase, sowohl in Einzelkörnern, als auch innerhalb einer Probe erklären, die jeden möglichen verborgenen Variationstrend verdecken würden. Der mittels XRF Analytik an separierten Plagioklasen bestimmte Gehalt an Sr und das Sr/Al2O3 Verhältnis dndern sich allerdings geringfügig im Bereich des Main Magnetite Layer. Dies wird möglicherweise mit derv Zusammenbruch von dichtegeschichteten Schmelzlagen im Magma in Beziehung gebracht. Die Analyse von Plagioklaskonzentraten scheint daher geeigneter zu sein magmatische Prozesse anzuzeigen als Mikrosondenuntersuchungen.

图拉尔根、香山和天宇、白石泉岩浆铜镍硫化物矿床分别位于新疆东天山的觉罗塔格构造带和中天山地块,角闪石在这些矿床中均以贯通矿物产出。本研究通过这些矿床角闪石的主量和微量元素含量,讨论两个构造单元成矿岩浆的性质和演化过程。四个矿床的角闪石种属主要为韭闪石、镁绿钙闪石、浅闪石、钛闪石、钙镁闪石和镁闪石,结晶温度区间为940~1080℃,压力区间为250~450MPa,相当于11~15km的深度。图拉尔根和香山矿床的角闪石结晶温度和压力均相对较低(平均分别为1027℃、318MPa和1013℃、313MPa),可能与其所处的觉罗塔格构造带断裂发育,成矿母岩浆易于侵位到较浅处结晶有关。四个矿床角闪石结晶时岩浆的含水量均较高(4%左右),可能是俯冲交代作用导致的地幔源区本身水含量较高以及角闪石结晶较晚共同作用的结果。相较于觉罗塔格构造带的图拉尔根和香山矿床(0 ΔNNO 1. 7),角闪石氧逸度计指示中天山地块天宇和白石泉矿床的氧逸度变化范围大且偏低(分别是-0. 6 ΔNNO 1. 7和-0. 4 ΔNNO 1. 8)。中天山铜镍矿床的氧逸度特征及相对觉罗塔格构造带较低的微量元素Ce/Pb比值指示其岩浆侵位过程中受到的古老地块的混染作用较强。以上研究表明角闪石虽是玄武质岩浆中较晚结晶的矿物,但能为示踪铜镍矿床岩浆演化提供重要线索。  相似文献

The present day Taupo-Hikurangi subduction system is a southward extension of the Tonga-Kermadec Arc system into a sediment-rich continental margin environment. It consists of a shallow structural trench (the Hikurangi Trough), a 150 km wide, imbricate thrust controlled accretionary borderland (the continental slope, shelf, and coastal hills of eastern North Island), a frontal ridge (the main “greywacke” ranges of North Island), and a volcanic arc and marginal basin (the Taupo Volcanic Zone).Structural elements become progressively more elevated and subduction more oblique towards the south. The whole NNE-trending system is truncated at a largely strike-slip, transform boundary that extends along the southwestern part of the Hikurangi Trough and the Hope fault of South Island to the main Alpine Fault.The volcanic arc is 200–270 km from the structural trench and comprises a NNE trending chain of andesite-dacite volcanoes extending along the eastern side of the Taupo Volcanic Zone. Most of the andesites are olivine-bearing and have been erupted within the last 50,000 years.It is suggested the Taupo-Hikurangi margin has evolved by rotation of accretionary elements, from an original NW-trending subduction system north of New Zealand. The older elements of the prism were associated with subduction of a re-entrant of the Pacific Plate (and perhaps the South Fiji Basin) in Mid Tertiary times. They subsequently became separated from their NW-trending volcanic arc by dextral strike-slip movement along curved faults east of the main “greywacke” ranges. During the Plio-Pleistocene, oblique subduction and accretion intensified as the Taupo-Hikurangi margin rotated into line with the NNE-trending Kermadec system and a marginal basin was developed along a similar trend to form the Taupo Volcanic Zone. Within the last 50,000 years olivine-bearing andesite volcanism has commenced along the eastern side of the Taupo Volcanic Zone.  相似文献

Mingling in the magmatic system of ischia (Italy) in the past 5 ka   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
Summary In the past 5 ka volcanism has been very intense at Ischia, a densely populated and still active volcanic island in the Gulf of Napoli. Mineralogical, geochemical and isotopic investigations have been carried out on the pyroclastic deposits and lava flows of the historical eruptions of Fiaiano (530–960 A. D.) and Arso (1302 A. D.). These products are characterized by strong petro-chemical disequilibria. Mineralogical disequilibria are shown by the occurrence of resorbed and reversely zoned phenocrysts, and by the coexistence of phenocrysts and microlites with variable composition. Chemical inhomogeneity characterizes the glass of the juvenile fragments. Isotopic disequilibria have been detected among all separated mineral phases and whole-host rock. The detected disequilibria are interpreted as the result of a physical mixing process between variable fractionated and isotopically distinct batches of magmas.Petrochemical data suggest that mingling occurred between a highly crystallized alkali-trachytic and an isotopically distinct latitic to trachytic magmas, for both the eruptions. The pre-eruptive scenario proposed is the uprising of a latitic-to-trachytic magma (characterized by a Sr-isotope ratio of about 0.7068) from a deep reservoir and successive mingling with batches of more viscous, highly crystallized alkali-trachytic magma (with a Sr-isotope composition of about 0.7061) at shallow depth.

Mineralogische, geochemische und Isotopen-Untersuchungen wurden an pyroklastischen Lagen und Lavaergüssen der historischen Eruptionen von Viaino (530–960 n.Chr.) und Arso (1302 n.Chr.) durchgeführt. Diese vulkanischen Produkte sind durch starke petro-chemische Ungleichgewichte charakterisiert. Mineralogische Ungleichgewichte sind in Vorkommen von resorbierten und invers zonierten Phänokristallen und in der Koexistenz von Phänokristallen und Mikroliten verschiedener Zusammensetzung zu erkennen. Chemische Inhomogenität charakterisiert das Glas der juvenilen Fragmente. Isotopisches Ungleichgewicht konnte in allen abgetrennten Mineralphasen und in Gesamtgesteinsproben nachgewiesen werden. Diese Ungleichgewichte werden als das Ergebnis eines physikalischen Mischprozesses zwischen verschieden fraktionierten und isotopisch charakterisierten Magmaschüben interpretiert.Petrochemische Daten zeigen, dass Mingling zwischen einem stark kristallisierten Alkali-trachytischen und einem isotopisch anders zusammengesetzten latitischen bis trachytischen Magma in beiden Eruptionen stattgefunden hat. Als Szenario vor der Eruption ist der Aufstieg eines latitischen bis trachytischen Magmas (charakterisiert durch ein Sr-Isotopenverhältnis von ungefähr 0,7068) aus einem tiefen Reservoir und darauf folgendes Mingling mit Schüben von mehr viskosem, stark kristallisiertem Alkali-trachytischem Magma (mit einer Strontium Isotopen Zusammensetzung von 0,7061) in geringer Tiefe zu sehen.

We present results of investigation of the trace-element (REE, HFSE) and Hf isotope compositions and U-Pb age of single zircons crystallized from alkaline-carbonatite magmas of the Ilmeny-Vishnevogorsky complex (IVC) (Urals, Russia). It has been established that the geochemical characteristics of the early zircon (U-Pb age of 430-410 Ma) from alkaline rocks and carbonatites of this complex are determined mainly by the magmatic evolution of parental fluid-saturated alkaline-carbonatite melts and are highly associated with the cocrystallization of zircon and uranium-containing rare-metal minerals (gatchettolite and pyrochlore) at the final stages of the magmatic-system activity. The early zircons have a moderately depleted Hf isotope composition (eHf from + 11.3 to + 4.7), confirming the mantle nature of the magma source and indicating the participation of DM-like and enriched-source (probably, lower-crust component) substances in the magma generation. The considerable variations in the initial Hf isotope composition of the early zircons testify to the multistage zircon crystallization involving new portions of melts with different isotope compositions controlled by mixing of substances at their source. Late IVC zircons (250-350 Ma) have strongly disturbed “rejuvenated” isotope systems and a geochemical composition different from that of the magmatic zircons. They formed apparently at the metamorphic stage of the IVC evolution without a significant input of additional material.  相似文献

橄榄石是与镁铁-超镁铁质岩浆有关的铜镍硫化物矿床中最主要的造岩矿物之一,其成分记录了丰富的镍成矿信息,并可反映母岩浆成分组成、结晶分异过程及后期物质交换等。东昆仑夏日哈木镍钴矿床是全球铜镍硫化物矿床勘查20余年来最为重要的找矿发现之一,将逐步成为中国重要的镍钴资源基地。本文在大量镜下岩相学观察的基础上,对夏日哈木矿床橄榄石进行系统电子探针分析。分析数据表明,夏日哈木橄榄石Fo值为83.01~90.12;Ni含量为676×10-6 ~2845×10-6,Mn、Ca含量均较低,最大值分别为2457×10-6和650×10-6。“巨型”斜方辉石包裹的橄榄石成分自核心到边部Fo值和NiO含量均增高,表明含矿岩相形成时存在新鲜岩浆的补充,至少存在2次岩浆活动。橄榄石最高Fo值为90.12,反映夏日哈木镍钴矿床的母岩浆是Mg#值为0.73的高镁玄武质岩浆。硫饱和始于深部岩浆房母岩浆中少量橄榄石的结晶分异,早期熔离量较小,估算的橄榄石与硫化物熔体质量比大致为20:1。本次研究利用橄榄石成分约束了夏日哈木矿床岩浆的多期次活动,限定了母岩浆的成分性质与硫化物的熔离时机,可为矿床成因研究提供借鉴。  相似文献
