新疆地区最大连续降水事件时空变化特征

基于新疆51 个站点1960-2005 年的日降水资料,从最大连续降水事件出发,以年、夏、冬为研究时期,定义描绘最大连续降水事件的日数、降水量和降水强度的9 个极端降水指标,研究最大连续降水事件的时空概率特征。本文应用改进的Mann-Kendall 法对各指标变化趋势进行检验,采用基于F 检验的线形分析计算其变化率。研究结果表明:(1) 年和夏季最容易发生2 天的最大连续降水天数,最大连续降水事件日数越长,降水强度越低;冬季易发生1 天的最大连续降水天数,随最大连续降水事件日数的增加,降水强度增加;(2) 近年来,日数短的连续降水天数事件频率减少,而随降水日数的增加;降水量有增加趋势;因此,新疆降水有极端化的趋势;(3) 新疆有湿润化趋势,而南疆在夏季的湿润趋势比北疆明显,北疆在冬季比南疆显著。     

1960—2017年中国北方气候干湿变化及其与ENSO的关系

基于中国北方424个气象站实测数据,应用FAO Penman-Monteith模型计算潜在蒸散（Potential evapotranspiration,ET₀）,使用降水和潜在蒸散数据计算得到标准化降水蒸散发指数（SPEI）,以此研究了1960—2017年中国北方干湿时空变化特征,分析了ENSO对北方气候干湿变化的影响。结果表明：中国北方干湿变化的线性趋势总体不显著,四季中春季和冬季变湿趋势明显。空间上,西北西部存在明显的变湿趋势,干旱化趋势主要发生在黄土高原、内蒙古东部和东北东部地区。全区各级干旱事件呈减少趋势,各级湿润事件呈增加趋势,其中以中等干旱的减少最为显著。西北西部中等干旱和极端干旱明显减少,东北北部和新疆部分地区极端湿润明显增加。全区四季3类干旱事件均表现为减少的趋势,3类湿润事件均表现为增加的趋势,西北西部四季3类干旱事件均呈减少趋势。ENSO对北方干湿的影响存在一定程度的滞后性。El Ni?o翌年气候湿润,La Nina翌年气候干旱。在年际和春季2个尺度上,SSTA与翌年SPEI存在显著的正相关关系。     

基于标准化降水蒸散指数（SPEI）的毛乌素沙地1981—2020年干旱特征研究

大气干旱是影响半干旱沙区植被建设、生态恢复及社会经济可持续发展的重要因素。基于1981—2020年毛乌素沙地10个气象站点的逐月气象资料,计算了月、季和年尺度的标准化降水蒸散指数（SPEI）,分析了该沙区近40年降水和气温的变化趋势、干旱事件及其频率的时空特征。结果表明：（1）毛乌素沙地近40年降水量和气温均呈现显著的上升趋势（P<0.05）;秋季和冬季降水量呈现显著的上升趋势（P<0.05）,四季气温均呈现显著的上升趋势（P<0.05）。（2）毛乌素沙地总体上呈现出不显著的湿润化趋势（P>0.05）,但秋季呈显著的湿润化趋势（P<0.05）;中、西部地区呈现出湿润化趋势,而东部地区则呈现干旱化趋势。（3）近40年毛乌素沙地的月尺度下干旱总频率达32.71%,各等级发生频率为轻旱>中旱>重旱>特旱,季节发生频次为冬季>夏季、秋季>春季;轻旱主要发生在毛乌素沙地的北部、中部、东南和西南部,中旱在东部、北部和西部边缘,重旱在东部、中部以及南部地区,特旱在西北部、南部和东南部区域。     

新疆不同季节降水气候分区及变化趋势

利用新疆88个测站1961—2006年逐日降水量资料,采用EOF（主成分分析）、REOF（旋转主成分分析）、线性趋势、kendall-τ检验以及累积距平、t检验、信噪比相结合等方法,对新疆四季降水量的空间特征、变化趋势以及突变时间等进行了对比诊断分析\.结果表明,新疆四季降水量EOF的前3个载荷向量场均表现为全疆一致的降水偏多或偏少型、南北疆反变化的南多（少）北少（多）型以及东西反向的东多（少）西少（多）型等3大整体异常结构;在同一约束条件下,不同季节REOF分析所揭示的降水气候分区不同,冬季大致可划分为3个区,春季6个区,夏季7个区,秋季5个区;除南疆偏西地区冬季降水量未出现显著突变增加趋势外,新疆大部地区于1986年前后冬夏降水量同时显著突变增多,与其上空大气可降水量(APW)的增加有关;北疆春季降水量既没有显著的增加趋势,也未发生过突变;南疆大部地区春季降水量曾出现过显著突变增加,但突变时间早晚不一;从长期变化趋势看,北疆北部、中天山两侧及其以东地区秋季降水量虽增加不显著,但在1978年前后出现过突变增加,是季降水量突变最早区域;北疆西部冬、夏、秋降水量均显著增加,是新疆降水量增加最敏感区域,但秋季降水量的突变增加是从1997年开始的,比冬夏突变晚11 a左右,比其东部地区偏晚30 a左右。     

基于MODIS数据新疆土壤干旱特征分析

干旱是一种常见的自然灾害,严重影响着新疆的农业生产。利用中分辨率成像光谱仪MODIS影像MOD11A2数据和MOD13A2数据,数字高程模型(DEM)对Ts进行了纠正,提取归一化植被指数(NDVI)和地表温度(Ts)构建NDVI-Ts特征空间,并依据特征空间计算的温度植被干旱指数(TVDI)作为监测土壤湿度指标,反演了新疆2013年5、6、7三个月每16 d的土壤湿度。较好地反映地表图层土壤湿度,分析了新疆土壤湿度的时空分布特征,新疆北部地区土壤湿度高于南部,西部的土壤湿度高于东部,且土壤湿度由西北向东南逐步减小,依次表现为湿润>正常>轻旱>中旱>重旱>极旱;由5月到7月土壤湿度不断增大,这与新疆降水量分布和实地土壤含水率十分吻合,监测结果可信,能够为决策部门防旱抗旱提供有力的信息支持。     

1981—2001年中国西北干旱区NDVI变化分析

采用1981-2001年连续21年的NOAA/AVHRR的NDVI植被覆盖指数,空间分辨率为8km×8 km,时间分辨率是"准半月",分析了中国西北干旱区四个地区(新疆的南疆地区、北疆地区、甘肃内蒙古河西走廊地区和青海柴达木地区)1981-2001年连续21年的NDVI变化.结果显示:1981-2001年中国西北干旱区四个地区的NDVI虽然普遍不高(小于0.3),但是其在新疆的南、北疆处于增大的趋势,北疆1991-2001年的平均NDVI值比1981-1990年的平均值增加了2.48%,南疆的相应增幅较大为8.95%;甘肃内蒙古河西走廊地区的NDVI值年际变化不明显;青海的柴达木地区NDVI值则有减小的趋势,其1991-2001年的平均NDVI值比1981-1990年的平均值减少了2.76%.新疆植被覆盖的增加可能与大面积开荒等人为活动以及这一段时间新疆地区"增温"和"增湿"的自然气候变化有关,而青海柴达木地区植被覆盖的减少则可能存在更复杂的自然和人类活动等多方面的驱动因素.     

近40a新疆输沙势的分析

利用新疆100个气象站近40a来风的观测资料分析了南北疆合成输沙势的时空分布。分析表明: ①新疆风能高能地区较多, 其东部、北疆西部、西北部合成输沙势(RDP)较高, 南疆西部、西南部RDP较低, 北疆比南疆高。②北疆四季、年RDP从20世纪70年代以来波动减小, 南疆四季、年RDP在60、70年代达到最大, 之后到1998年振荡减小, 1998年后却陡然增大。南北疆RDP在春季最大, 夏季次之, 冬季最小, 在60年代较大, 70年代最大, 90年代最小。③南疆东部、西南、西北部RDP/DP(方向变率指数)较大, 中部、西部较小; 从东部到西部方向逐渐由偏西、西南向偏东、东南转变。北疆东部RDP/DP较大, 中部、天山中部和北麓平原一带在0.6~0.7之间, 西部、西北部有两个低值中心, 东北部在0.7~0.8之间; 方向以偏东南、东居多。     

青海高原干旱时空分异特征及发生风险研究

青海省干旱灾害具有发生频繁、影响范围大、持续时间长的特点,严重影响本省农牧业生产,对其发生、分布及出现风险进行研究,成果对降低农业生产风险、水利工程布局建设有很好的参考作用。本文通过修正Penman公式中辐射计算模型,定义青海省干燥度干旱指标,将干旱划分为重旱、中旱、轻旱、无旱四级,对青海省1960—2010年的干旱年际变化趋势及空间分布特征进行分析。构造月干旱发生风险指数,以5月份为例对青海省月干旱发生风险进行了评估。主要结论如下:(1)1961—2010年,青海省年干旱程度以重旱与中旱为主,50年来重旱次数呈现极显著减少趋势;无旱次数呈显著的增加趋势;轻旱与中旱次数无明显变化趋势。冬季干旱以重旱为主;春季重旱减弱,轻旱增加;夏季重旱显著减少,无旱次数显著增加;秋季重旱趋稳。(2)柴达木盆地为重旱高发区;青海省东南部久治、河南、班玛等地为无旱或轻旱主要影响区;祁连山区、东部农业区及青南称多、玉树等地受轻、中旱影响较大。(3)5月份,重旱在三江源的东南部、祁连山区、环青海湖区、东部农业区出现可能性低;中旱高风险区位于柴达木的大柴旦、德令哈、乌兰、都兰及小唐古拉山、治多区域;轻旱高风险区域包括天峻、祁连、环湖区域大部分、东部农业区大部分地区及三江源的杂多、玉树、兴海等地。     

新疆北部的降水量线性变化趋势特征分析

应用新疆北疆地区以及天山山区26个气象站1961-2005年的月降水量资料,分析了新疆北部地区、天山山区、北疆沿天山经济带、北疆平原、北疆北部流域、北疆西部流域6个区域的年、暖季(5-10月)、冷季(11-4月)以及各月的降水量线性趋势特征。结果显示:6个区域及26个气象站的年降水量45a年来均呈线性增加趋势;暖季降水量6个区域均呈线性增加趋势,北疆区、天山山区最显著;冷季降水量6个区域全部呈明显的线性增加趋势;月降水线性趋势变化较显著的月份为1、2、7、11、12月,其它各月没有通过0.10显著性水平检验,12个月中增湿趋势站数明显占优势的月份可占80%左右,3、9月呈下降趋势的站数较多。增湿结果已给新疆带来风吹雪、雪崩、畜牧业雪灾、洪水、融雪性洪水、泥石流、滑坡等灾害。     

新疆农业气象灾害成因及其风险分析

基于新疆54个气象站点以及1949-2014年气象灾害数据,分析了新疆过去半个多世纪气象灾害的发生特点及成因。运用信息扩散方法对新疆洪水、干旱、大风、冰雹等灾害进行了风险评估,结果显示:(1)新疆降水量的增长是降雨频率和降雨强度共同增加的结果,这是导致暴雨洪水增加的重要原因;在灾害损失方面,洪水、干旱、风雹、低温等4种灾害的受灾面积均存在显著增长趋势,在空间分布上,天山北坡、伊犁河谷的洪水灾害频次最高,北疆旱灾频次多于南疆,东疆、南疆风灾较多,西天山、伊犁河谷、天山南坡西段冰雹较多。(2)在灾害风险方面,旱灾是新疆受灾风险最大的灾害,其次是洪水、大风,而冰雹风险最大的区域位于天山南坡以西以及天山北坡的中部到西部。(3)Morlet小波分析显示,自2000年以来,各灾害10 a左右的周期振荡都有增强趋势。极端气候事件的频率增加和强度加大,对近期旱灾加重和农田受灾面积增加具有一定作用。此外,通过与环流因子的遥相关分析,得到北半球极涡面积指数(VPA)和青藏高原高压指数(XZH)对新疆的气象灾害发生强度有显著影响。

Deserts and Aeolian Desertification in China: Book review and some thoughts

Desertification is a global phenomenon that affects about two billion people. It occurs in arid zones where the annual precipitation is below 400 mm, partic- ularly in the marginal areas of the world＇s largest deserts. It is a result of water and wind erosion, over- grazing, global warm-ing, improper soil cultivation, and increased pressure ot population growth, and it causes degradation of soil and natural and agricultural vegetation. The direct result is less food for people and livestock, which influences pop- ulation and animal husbandry fluctuations. Despite ef- forts to combat and reduce desertification, the affected areas are annually increasing.
