The Elatsite porphyry copper deposit occurs in an island-arc setting hosted by Late Cretaceous monzonitic-monzodioritic porphyry stocks which were emplaced into Precambrian-Cambrian phyllites. Trace element data of the Late Cretaceous intrusive rocks suggest that they are I-type volcanic arc granitoids. Two main ore mineral assemblages are distinguished: (1) magnetite-bornite-chalcopyrite, and (2) chalcopyrite-pyrite. The first one is linked to potassic-propylitic, and the second to phyllic-argillic alteration. Minor ore minerals are hematite, molybdenite, sphalerite, pyrrhotite, marcasite, hessite, and solid solutions of linnaeite-siegenite-carrollite, tetrahedrite-tennantite, clausthalite-galena, gold-electrum and merenskyite-moncheite. Precious-metal contents are relatively high throughout the deposit but Au, Pd and Pt are concentrated more strongly in the magnetite-bornite-chalcopyrite assemblage. Average grades of Au, Ag, Pd and Pt calculated for the 0.33% Cu ore body are 0.96, 0.19, 0.007 and 0.002 g/t respectively. Analyses of flotation concentrates revealed 25.6% Cu, and Ag, Au, Pd and Pt contents of 33.0, 13.6, 0.72 and 0.15 g/t respectively. The copper mineralisation at Elatsite took place at pressures of 120 to 300 bar, corresponding to depths of formation of 1 to 3 km under hydrostatic conditions. The precious metals were probably transported jointly as chloride complexes in highly saline magmatic-hydrothermal solutions. The fluids had temperatures of 340 to >700 °C and salinities of 28 to 64% NaCl, and mixed with meteoric water.  相似文献

The San Jorge porphyry copper deposit (SJPCD) is hosted by Carboniferous clastic sedimentary rocks and Permian intrusions located within the Permo-Triassic belt of Chile and Argentina. Its hypogene mineralization and alteration are products of superposed orthomagmatic and hydrothermal events that were strongly fault controlled. Copper related to orthomagmatic processes includes disseminated chalcopyrite in the matrix of porphyritic granodiorite and andesite, and chalcopyrite with tourmaline and quartz in breccias, both of which have accompanying potassic alteration. Soon thereafter, disseminated chalcopyrite is associated with a structurally controlled silicification of the sedimentary sequence. Finally, multiple episodes of hydrofracturing, probably driven by a deep-seated intrusion, deposited sulfide minerals in veinlets throughout the sedimentary sequence; the centers of these systems are characterized by potassic alteration. Total sulfides, which include chalcopyrite, pyrite, arsenopyrite, and pyrrhotite, and pyrite:chalcopyrite form a linear NNE trend, parallel to the main faults. Quartz–sericite is the dominant alteration and is ubiquitous. Zones of potassic alteration can be delineated even though phyllic alteration can be superposed. Much of the system evolved under reducing conditions. Despite uplift along a reverse fault during the Tertiary, and subsequent erosion, the system is preserved at high levels. Supergene processes redistributed copper in secondary oxides and sulfides. These processes were more effective where the deposit is covered by unconsolidated alluvial sediments. The unique history of the San Jorge deposit renders it an important variation of porphyry copper-style mineralization.  相似文献

德兴铜矿是中国华南地区重要的大型斑岩铜矿,由朱砂红、铜厂和富家坞3个矿床组成。在系统的钻孔样岩相观察基础上,本文把德兴朱砂红花岗闪长斑岩划分为3种类型蚀变岩(钾化-黑云母化蚀变岩、绿泥石化蚀变岩、石英-绢(白)云母化蚀变岩),其主要标志性蚀变矿物依次为:钾长石(黑云母)→绿泥石→石英+绢(白)云母,且热液蚀变程度依次增强。以Al2O3作为不活动组分,通过Isocon分析法表明:随着热液蚀变作用的持续进行,蚀变程度的逐渐增强,主量元素(P2O5)行为较稳定,Na2O、Sr元素大量活化迁出;高场强元素Hf、Th、U、V、Co、Nb、Ta等表现为弱活动性或不活动性;成矿元素Cu、Pb、W显示出大量带入,表明热液流体和成矿流体可能属于同一流体系统。稀土元素均发生一定程度的活化迁移,其中绿泥石化蚀变岩的LREE、HREE均较原岩亏损,而石英-绢(白)云母化花岗闪长斑岩的LREE、HREE富集/亏损情况因样品而异,相对增量/减量变化幅度较大。各类蚀变花岗闪长斑岩球粒陨石化配分模式表现较一致,均为轻稀土相对于重稀土富集的右倾分布,极弱Eu负异常,曲线左陡右平缓,尾部轻微上翘,形似铲状,反映岩浆源区角闪石的分离结晶作用。蚀变花岗闪长斑岩的Y/Ho比值与球粒陨石的Y/Ho比值基本一致,表明Y-Ho在热液蚀变过程中未发生明显分离。弱蚀变花岗闪长斑岩具有较高Sr/Y比值、La/Sm比值以及中等Sm/Yb比值,暗示源区残留相主要为角闪石±石榴子石。  相似文献

The San Jorge porphyry copper deposit in Mendoza, Argentina in some parts contains breccia pipes that are strongly enriched with tourmaline of the dravite–schorl solid solution series with some quartz, muscovite, orthoclase, kaolinite, Cu sulfides and arsenopyrite. The overall composition of tourmaline is rather homogeneous with an intracrystalline variation of the Fe/Mg ratio reflected by its texture, its core-rim zonation of tourmaline and by the statistical variation of the Fe/Mg ratio. The depth-related intracrystalline changes are best interpreted as a hydrothermal collapse breccia which formed as a result of the reaction of primary hydrothermal B–Fe-enriched fluids with the country rocks enriched in Mg. The chemical composition attests to only small-scale interaction of tourmaline with silicate fragments within the tourmaline breccia itself. Tourmaline as one of the ultrastable heavy minerals in stream sediment offers a potential tool to discriminate between Cu-bearing and barren breccia pipes, using the Fe/Mg ratio of the boron silicate for distinction. Fertile breccias reveal a significantly better correlation between Fe and Mg than barren tourmaline breccias.  相似文献

多宝山斑岩铜矿床位于蒙古—鄂霍茨克(古亚洲)地槽东部。矿区周围出露的地层以中古生界为主,在复背斜核部出露有奥陶系。从多宝山矿区向东南40公里为新开岭隆起,隆起呈北东东走向,上面地层多属下古生界和前古生界,而其东南广大地区地层多属石炭二叠系。多宝山矿区含矿的花岗岩体,经K-Ar法年龄测定,为292百万年,属中石炭世。由此可见,在多宝山矿床形成期间,多宝山矿区应位于正负构造单元接壤处偏隆起一侧。  相似文献

对安徽沙溪斑岩铜矿床流体包裹体进行了详细研究,得到气液包裹体的均一化温度为100 ̄500℃,盐度为2.0wt% ̄60wt%NaCl,并且流体包裹体的成分和温度随时间、空间变化而呈现出一定的变化规律。对热液脉石英及其流体包裹体中H2O、CO2的氧、氢、碳同位素组成分别进行了测定,得到热液δ^18OSMOW为+3.51‰ ̄+5.52‰,δDSMOW为-60‰ ̄-82‰,δ^13CPDB为-3.61‰ ̄  相似文献

德兴铜矿是中国东部重要的大型斑岩铜矿,由朱砂红、铜厂和富家坞等3个矿床组成。在详细的野外脉体填图基础上,文章把德兴铜厂斑岩铜矿的成矿脉体划分为A脉、B脉、D脉和H脉等4种类型。研究发现,A脉的形成与钾化蚀变有关,脉体不规则且不连续,以粒状石英±钾长石±黑云母±磁铁矿±少量黄铁矿±少量黄铜矿的矿物组合为特征;B脉的形成与钾质硅酸盐水解有关,脉体较规则且连续,以石英±辉钼矿±黄铜矿±黄铁矿的矿物组合为特征,石英颗粒呈典型的梳状或长柱状对称于脉壁生长;D脉的形成与石英-绢云母化蚀变有关,以黄铁矿±石英±黄铜矿的矿物组合为特征,脉壁发育绢云母晕;H脉的形成与碳酸盐化有关,以方解石±赤铁矿±黄铁矿±黄铜矿的矿物组合为特征。这4种脉体分别记录了成矿流体演化至不同阶段,热液蚀变作用的特点及其与Cu-Mo硫化物沉淀的关系。脉体的宽度-间距定量统计分析表明,脉体宽度(T)服从于幂次分布定律;脉体间距(S)服从于负指数分布或介于对数正态分布与负指数分布之间。脉体宽度分维值D值(0.91~1.35)普遍>1,反映脉体系统的连通性较差,矿化程度较弱。脉体间距变差系数Cν值(0.49~0.92)均<1,说明脉体簇生聚集程度较低,矿化程度较弱;处于脉体聚集中心的脉体,代表着热液流体运移的通道,制约着其他脉体的展布。  相似文献

普朗斑岩铜矿地处甘孜-理塘结合带西侧德格-中甸陆块东缘,印支期义敦-中甸岛弧带南段。矿区地层为上三叠统图姆沟组,主要出露普朗印支期复式中酸性斑(玢)岩体,构造裂隙发育,岩石蚀变强烈,具典型的“斑岩型”蚀变分带:由中心向外依次为强硅化带→硅化钾化带→绢英岩化带→青磐岩化带。岩浆岩、岩浆侵位的地层、热液蚀变作用、热液运移和矿质沉淀的构造空间控制了本矿床的产出。其成矿作用发生于普朗复式斑岩体内,矿化与蚀变相伴进行,在岩体中心形成由细脉浸染状矿石组成的筒状矿体,岩体边部产出脉状矿体。成矿元素以铜为主,伴有金、银、钼、钯、硫等多种有用组分。矿床规模达到超大型。  相似文献

Soil samples were collected over the North Silver Bell porphyry copper deposit near Tucson, Arizona. Volatile elements and compounds in gases derived from the soils and metallic elements in the soils were analyzed in order: (1) to see which volatile constituents of the soils might be indicative of the ore body or the alteration zones; and (2) to distinguish the ore and alteration zones by comparison of trace elements in the soil.Plots of analytical data on trace elements in soils indicated a typical distribution pattern for metals around a porphyry copper deposit, with copper, molybdenum, and arsenic concentrations higher over the ore body, and zinc, lead, and silver concentrations higher over the alteration zones.Higher than average concentrations of helium, carbon disulfide, and sulfur dioxide adsorbed on soils were found over the ore body, whereas higher concentrations of carbon dioxide and carbonyl sulfide were found over the alteration zones.  相似文献

The North Fork porphyry copper deposit in the Cascade volcanic arc of Washington displays copper mineralization confined to the potassic (biotite) and phyllic (sericite) alteration zones. No secondary potassium feldspars have been found in either alteration zone; moreover, chemical analyses indicate the potassic alteration zone contains a low K2O content. Argillic and propylitic zones are also recognized, but these are barren of hypogene copper mineralization. Biotite-chalcopyrite intergrowths in the deposit have been given a 9.9 K-Ar age. Thus it is not only one of the youngest deposits dated in the western Cordillera, but it is associated with a volcanic arc which has no current Benioff zone seismic array or accompanying trench. The deposit appears to have developed during the period when coupling of the North American and Juan de Fuca plates probably inhibited subduction under the Cascade volcanic arc.  相似文献

The Dexing ore deposit, Jiangxi Province, is the largest porphyry copper deposit in China. Controversies exist regarding the ore-forming source of this deposit. We have conducted Pb isotope analyses of pyrites from the Tongchang and Fujiawu mines. Our results document consistent Pb isotopes from these two orebodies, with 206Pb/204Pb, 207Pb/204Pb, and 208Pb/204Pb ratios of 17.954–18.320, 15.407–15.517, and 37.888–38.153, respectively. These Pb isotope ratios are consistent with those of ore-bearing adakitic porphyries but distinctly different from those of the Neoproterozoic metamorphic wall rocks, which indicates that the metals were derived from the porphyries. Based on previous S and Os isotopic data and comparisons with more than 20 Mo-bearing deposits worldwide, we further attribute the narrow range of δ34S values of sulphide minerals and high Re–187Os concentrations of associated molybdenites to a mantle origin. This large-scale copper deposit was evidently emplaced in a continental arc setting attending westward subduction of the palaeo-Pacific plate. Partial melting of the downgoing oceanic slab generated the adakitic magmas. The associated metals were extracted from the lithospheric mantle by these magmas during ascent through the mantle wedge.  相似文献

At the Bingham Canyon porphyry copper deposit, sulfide mineralization progresses outward from a low-grade core through the following general zones: (1) molybdenite, (2) chalcopyrite-bornite, (3) chalcopyrite-pyrite, (4) pyrite, and (5) sphalerite-galena. The low-grade core and the molybdenite zone are composed of net neutralizing rock and will generally not acidify when exposed to surface weathering conditions. The copper-bearing zones of the orebody and the surrounding pyrite halo are net acid-generating and so will tend to acidify when exposed. Rocks in the lead-zinc halo are typically net neutralizing. In plan view, the distribution of net neutralization potential (NNP) is doughnut-shaped, with a positive (net neutralizing) 1,000-m-diameter core surrounded by a negative (net acid-generating) 3,000-m-diameter ring. Rock exposed in the lower 100 m of the current pit has a positive NNP and is overlain by 500 m of rock with a negative NNP.  相似文献

Lead isotope compositions of nine sulfide concentrates from ore samples from the Sar-Cheshmeh deposit are reported. They range from virtually unaltered granodiorite through varying degrees of potassic alteration to ores showing strong phyllic alteration (sericite veins). The samples without strong phyllic alteration have fairly uniform lead isotope compositions around 206Pb/204Pb=18.6, 207Pb/204Pb=15.6, and 208Pb/204Pb=38.7. Two samples with sericite veins have markedly more radiogenic lead. It is concluded that the fluid responsible for the potassic alteration and the associated mineralization was essentially magmatic, whereas convecting meteoric water from the country rock acted as a mineralizing solution during phyllic alteration. In the context of the plumbotectonics model, the deposit has a typical orogen signature intermediate between primitive and mature island-arc settings.  相似文献

土屋铜矿是新疆地矿局近年在斑岩型铜矿地质找矿方面取得的一项重大突破。矿床产于准噶尔板块南缘石炭纪增生拼贴岛弧带中。矿体赋存于石炭纪闪长玢岩和斜长花岗斑岩岩体内。属细脉浸染状矿化,具有厚度大、矿化均匀、品位低、组分简单、围岩蚀变分带明显的特点。目前初步控制的远景规模可望达大型以上。该矿床的发现不仅对新疆斑岩型铜矿的地质找矿具有重要指导意义,而且对促进新疆今后矿业经济的发展将起到重要作用。  相似文献

Constraints on hypogene distribution of Mo and precious metals (Au and Ag) in the Sar Cheshmeh porphyry copper deposit indicated that much of the metals tend to be concentrated within the Cu-rich potassic core as well as with strongly phyllic alteration. The gradual increase in metal concentrations from weak potassic alteration to strong potassic and phyllic alteration zones is observed that could be related to cumulative effects of the early to the late stages of alteration and mineralization which is increased vein density and metal deposition. Comparison between inter-element relationships in hypogene ore types indicated that precious metals and Cu positively correlate over a wide range of values, indicating a spatial and temporal association of precious metals with Cu sulfides. In contrast, the sympathetic relationship of Mo with Cu and precious metals is only present in low-grade ores which are deposited in weak potassic alteration zone. This suggests contemporaneous deposition of minor Mo with Cu and precious metals during the early stage of mineralization. In the transitional stages of mineralization, significant portion of Mo deposition occurred independent of Cu and precious metals which is supported by negative correlation between Mo and Cu (also with precious metals) in silicified ores. In the late stage of mineralization, where the highest values of the metals had occurred with sericitization, differences in the distribution of the metals and inter-element relationships are significant that could be attributed to the heterogeneous distribution of Mo, Cu, and precious metals during the evolution of the porphyry system. The hypogene metal arrangement indicated that ores with the highest values of Cu and precious metals are not essentially enriched in Mo.  相似文献

位于特提斯成矿域西段塞尔维亚Bor成矿带内的Mali Krivelj铜矿床是一大型斑岩型矿床。为揭示该矿床热液蚀变作用过程及元素迁移规律,文章对新鲜安山岩及不同蚀变带典型样品进行了微量元素分析及元素迁移质量平衡计算。研究结果表明,绢英岩化带及绿泥石-绢云母化带显示类似元素迁移规律,REE、Sr、Ba、Zr、Th、U、Ti、Co、Ni等元素显示一定程度迁出,而Rb、Cs等元素显示一定程度迁入,绿泥石-绢云母化带发育大量磁铁矿,而绢英岩化带则大量出现石英+绢云母+黄铁矿组合,这表明随着流体的持续演化,流体的还原性逐渐增强。青磐岩化带蚀变较弱,其元素迁移程度较低。研究区Cu与Cr、Rb、Ti/Sr、Rb/Ba、Cr/Zn比值等具较好的正相关性,Cu与REE、Ba、Zn、Mn、Sr等元素具有一定的负相关性,表明该矿床全岩元素迁移规律在一定程度上也能作为地球化学勘查指标为寻找斑岩矿化中心提供依据。  相似文献

Ninety rock samples from the La Granja porphyry copper in northern Peru have been analyzed for 30 elements, 10 of which are discussed here. Although intense weathering has produced a leached capping up to 200 m thick, the distribution of Mg, Ca, Na, K, Rb and Sr can still be correlated with different phases of hydrothermal alteration.There has been complete supergene leaching of sulphides; Cu has been depleted 10 to 30 times and Mo up to twice with respect to hypogene ore, Fe has been enriched in some parts of the leached capping, whereas Au remained stable. The coincidence of low Fe, high Mo and high Au contents with a high Cu/Fe ratio in the capping indicates the approximate centre of the underlying orebody. Also, high K, Rb, Mg and low Sr indicate high-grade copper ore.  相似文献

铼(Re)作为关键金属之一,是国家安全和军事战略必不可少的关键矿产,近年来受到世界各国的广泛关注。目前全球90%的Re产出于斑岩型矿床中,由于Re和Mo(钼)的元素性质相近,辉钼矿是Re的主要富集矿物。目前,前人的研究主要集中于含Re辉钼矿多型、辉钼矿中Re的含量、以及微米尺度上Re在辉钼矿中的赋存规律等方面,但纳米尺度上,Re在辉钼矿中的赋存状态研究仍十分薄弱。本次工作以安徽省泾县新发现的湛岭斑岩型钼矿床中的辉钼矿为研究对象,查明矿床中的辉钼矿主要有两种类型:粗粒叶片状辉钼矿(Ⅰ型)和细粒集合体辉钼矿(Ⅱ型)。通过电子探针(EPMA)和激光剥蚀电感耦合等离子质谱仪(LA-ICP-MS)确定了微米尺度上辉钼矿中的Re含量呈较大的不均一性。粗粒叶片状辉钼矿核部的Re含量(90.2×10-6)高于边部(37.6×10-6),细粒集合体辉钼矿中的Re平均含量(89.4×10-6)明显高于粗粒叶片状辉钼矿(50.0×10-6),其中可见多个无规律的局部Re富集区域。在此基础上,对细粒集合体辉钼矿中富Re区域进行聚焦离子束(FIB)原位取样,并运用透射电镜(TEM)分析发现,在纳米尺度上,辉钼矿Re含量也有较大不均一性。在ADF-TEM照片中识别出辉钼矿具有a、b两种不同的表征。表征a的辉钼矿Re含量较高,晶格受到明显干扰,除类质同象替换外,还存在以Re-S吸附的方式赋存的Re;而表征b中的辉钼矿Re含量较低,晶格并未受到明显的干扰,Re主要是以类质同象替换的形式存在。以上研究结果表明,湛岭斑岩型钼矿床中的Re除了类质同象替代Mo进入辉钼矿晶格外,还以Re-S的形式吸附在辉钼矿晶格表面,Re的两种赋存状态是辉钼矿中Re含量不均一性的主要原因。
