银川盆地西大滩隐伏断层晚第四纪活动特征   总被引:2,自引:1,他引:1       下载免费PDF全文
西大滩隐伏断层位于银川盆地北部,是石嘴山市活断层探测项目的目标断层之一。在浅层地震勘探的基础上,通过钻孔联合剖面探测和钻孔样品年龄测试,获得断层上断点埋深、主要标志层断距及沉积年龄等数据,估算了晚第四纪不同时段断层的滑动速率,结合地层变形情况探讨了该断层晚第四纪的活动特征。结果表明,西大滩隐伏断层自12 275±45aB.P.以来没有发生明显活动,属晚更新世末活动断层;晚更新世以来断层活动偏弱,平均滑动速率为0.024mm/a;除断层活动外,伴随着地层倾斜变形;两者均具间歇活动的特点,最小间隔约6 600a,最大间隔期12 275a。  相似文献

库松木楔克山山前断层是位于北天山西段再生造山带北缘一条重要的边界断层,是本次新发现和确定的一条活动断层。断层分为东、中、西三段:东段主要由4条断层斜列组合而成,单条断层长度为9~13 km,在晚更新世~全新世仍在强烈活动,晚更新世以来的垂直错动量为3~4 m,垂直活动速率为0.23~0.33 mm/a,全新世以来的垂直错动量为0.5~0.8 m;中段断层活动错断了中更新世至全新世地貌,形成多级断层陡坎和长约8~10 km的地震形变带,晚更新世以来垂直活动速率为0.5 mm/a;西段自晚更新以来无活动显示。  相似文献

通过航、卫片解译和野外实地踏勘对新疆柴窝堡盆地南缘断层晚第四纪以来的活动特征及活动速率方面有了新的认识:研究认为该断层晚第四纪以来曾有过强烈的活动,断层最新活动在南台子断错乌鲁木齐河Ⅰ级阶地的全新世砂土卵砾石层,形成20~40 cm的垂直断距,在柴窝堡盆地盐湖以南断错冲沟河流Ⅱ级阶地的晚更新世砾石层,垂直断距大于9 m,初步估算晚更新世以来该断层的垂直活动速率为0.09 mm/a,引起的水平缩短速率为0.5 mm/a.作为柴窝堡盆地南缘断层分支的板房沟断层,其最新活动的证据是断错了乌鲁木齐河Ⅰ级阶全新世砾石层.  相似文献

嘉峪关断层是河西走廊盆地内部的一条重要断层,断层走向NNW向,晚第四纪以来新活动特征以挤压逆冲为主兼具有右旋走滑特征。通过野外地质调查,在嘉峪关城楼北关园子山嘉峪关断层大陡坎西侧0.5km处的Ⅲ级阶地面上,新发现一段长约1.6km保存完好的小断层陡坎,坎高0.5~2m,且有冲沟发生右旋位错现象。经探槽开挖和热释光测年确认,嘉峪关断层全新世有古地震活动。据断错地貌的差分GPS测量和测年结果,得到断裂晚第四纪晚期以来的平均滑动速率为0.52~0.56mm/a。  相似文献

五台山北麓断裂位于山西断陷系的北部,是繁代断陷南界的控制断裂,其南峪口附近段落在晚第四纪表现出较强的活动性,在晚第四纪洪积扇上形成了高达20~30m的断层陡坎.近20ka以来,该断裂段的平均滑动速率不小于1.55~2.0mm/a,近6ka以来滑动速率达2.3mm/a,高出其它段落平均滑动速率近1倍.在南峪口段的2个探槽共揭露出6次可能的古地震事件,其参考年代距今分别为7600a以前、6700~7600a、5321~5575a、4400~5400a、4200~4400a和.1600a以来,平均复发间隔约为1400a.其中最新活动事件可能是公元512年的地震.  相似文献

通过野外调查表明,长岭山北麓断裂晚第四纪以来表现出强烈的新活动性.沿断裂年青冲沟以及最新阶地发生水平左旋位移,通过测量及位移量的分组分析并结合相关年代计算得到,该活动断裂晚更新世以来水平滑动速率为5.1mm/a,垂直滑动速率为0.19mm/a;全新世以来水平滑动速率3.53±0.34 mm/a,垂直滑动速率0.29±0.03 mm/a.沿断裂全线进行分析并结合断层剖面得到,小红山一带断层上覆0.4~1.2 m的坡洪积层(底部TL年龄6.1±0.7 kaBP)未被错动,而且Ⅰ级河流阶地及河漫滩相沉积物均未发生变形变位.1927年古浪8.0级地震形成的地表破裂向东抵达下井子沟地区,但未通过陶家山北的明代长城.区域分析表明,长岭山北麓断层构成古浪活动断裂带的东延段,和前人已经确定的天桥沟断层、黄羊川断层一起构成古浪左旋走滑兼逆冲活动断裂带.1927年古浪8.0级地震形成大破裂--贯通型的地震地表破裂带,说明该断裂所在地区为破裂的成熟地段.通过计算,并考虑到古浪大地震的离逝时间以及结合区域资料分析表明,该活动断裂所在地区至少500a内是相对稳定的,1000a的预测时段内发生强、大地震的概率也很低,但是不排除发生中强地震的可能.  相似文献

以2004~2007年开展的乌鲁木齐城市活断层探测与地震危险性评价项目之地震危险性评价专题所取得的新资料为基础,重点对乌鲁木齐西山断层活动性和潜在地震最大震级进行评价.西山断层在中更新世-晚更新世中期曾有强烈的活动,最新的活动错断了距今39~16 ka的地层,晚更新世末期以来活动性减弱,没有错断全新世地层,所以为晚更新世断层.该断层晚更新世的垂直滑动速率为0.05~0.06 mm/a.西山断层具有发生直下型地震的能力,估计其潜在最大地震震级为6.5级.  相似文献

冷龙岭活动断裂是青藏高原东北缘祁连山断裂带的重要组成部分, 位于祁连山断裂带中东段。 根据野外考察结果认为, 该断裂全新世以来活动强烈, 主要表现为左旋走滑运动, 并伴有正倾滑性质, 断错地貌特征明显。 通过高分辨率SPOT卫星数字影像和大比例尺航空照片处理确定断层的位置, 利用断错地貌测图、 热释光(TL)和碳十四(14C)测年方法, 厘定了冷龙岭断裂的晚第四纪滑动速率, 冷龙岭断裂晚更新世以来的平均水平滑动速率为(4.3±0.7)mm/a, 全新世晚期以来的平均水平滑动速率为(3.9±0.36)mm/a。  相似文献

以甘孜-玉树断裂带东南段的地质地貌为研究对象,在遥感解译的基础上,通过对典型地区的详细野外调查和探槽研究对该段晚第四纪活动性进行研究。在断裂沿线的生康乡、仁果乡、错阿乡、日阿乡进行了断错地貌分析和晚第四纪滑动速率计算, 生康区的水平滑动速率为(7.6±0.5)mm/a, 垂直滑动速率为(1.1±0.1)mm/a; 仁果区的水平滑动速率为(8.0±0.3)mm/a,垂直滑动速率为(1.1±0.1)mm/a; 错阿区的水平滑动速率为(10.3±0.4)mm/a; 日阿区的水平滑动速率为(10.8±0.8)mm/a, 垂直滑动速率为(1.1±0.1)mm/a。在仁果乡和错阿乡进行了探槽研究,两处探槽都揭示了多次古地震事件,虽然揭露的断层构造样式有所不同,但总体上都是以走滑为主兼有一定的逆冲分量。综合古地震事件和滑动速率分析表明,甘孜-玉树断裂带东南段晚第四纪尤其是全新世以来活动剧烈。  相似文献

孟连断裂是滇西南地区的1条区域性活动断裂。本文通过地形地貌、断裂剖面及地震活动等对断裂的空间展布及晚第四纪活动性进行分析和研究,获得了断裂活动时代和活动速率等参数。研究表明:孟连断裂晚第四纪期间仍在活动,最新活动时代为全新世,运动性质以左旋走滑为主,晚第四纪以来的平均水平滑动速率为3.8—5.1mm/a;该断裂控制着孟连、勐阿等第四纪盆地的发展及演化,沿断层发生了1995年7月12日中缅边境7.3级地震。  相似文献

利用14C、热释光(TL)样品年代及扩散方程计算结果,结合区域黄土剖面中古土壤年龄,对毛毛山地区晚第四纪各级地貌年龄进行了对比研究。根据毛毛山活动断裂水平位移和垂直位移分布明显的分组特征,求得毛毛山断裂带不同段落不同时段的平均滑动速率。大约自中更新世晚期以来,毛毛山断裂走滑段的平均水平滑动速率为2.3~3.9mm/a,垂直滑动速率为0.07~0.19mm/a;天祝盆地倾滑段垂直滑动速率为0.11~0.86mm/a。沿断裂带滑动速率具明显的非均匀性特点,表现为自东向西水平位移具累积滑动亏损特征,垂直位移则具补偿性  相似文献

在野外实测工作基础上,统计归纳了天景山断裂带上的冲沟左旋错动资料,分析了各类冲沟形成年代,对断裂带晚第四纪以来的水平活动强度分布,分段进行了研究,结果表明,断裂带晚更新以来的总体活动强度不大,但从时间和空间分析,各段活动的差异比较明显,平均滑动速率为0.23~1.62mm/a。晚更新世早,中期,活动中心位于断裂带西段,平均速率为1.40mm/a,晚更新世晚期以来,活动中心东移到中段,平均速率为1.  相似文献

对近几十年(特别是近几年)来多处跨浑河断裂的形变测量等资料的研究表明,浑河断裂的现今活动性不十分显著,抚顺城区段浑河断裂带附近现今矿震活动频繁,数处跨断裂形变测量结果,断裂两侧的水平和垂直运动显示出的拉张、沉陷与断裂关系密切,其运动速度均在每年十几毫米以上(个别的可达300mm/a),对其变形的机理研究认为,煤矿采掘是造成变形的主要原因,而非断裂本身构造活动的结果。  相似文献

Located at the bend of the northeastern margin of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, the Haiyuan fault zone is a boundary fault of the stable Alashan block, the stable Ordos block and the active Tibet block, and is the most significant fault zone for the tectonic deformation and strong earthquake activity. In 1920, a M8.5 earthquake occurred in the eastern segment of the fault, causing a surface rupture zone of about 240km. After that, the segment has been in a state of calmness in seismic activity, and no destructive earthquakes of magnitude 6 or above have occurred. Determining the current activity of the Haiyuan fault zone is very important and necessary for the analysis and assessment of its future seismic hazard. To study activity of the Haiyuan fault zone, the degree of fault coupling and the future seismic hazard, domestic and foreign scholars have carried out a lot of research using geology methods and GPS geodetic techniques, but these methods have certain limitations. The geology method is a traditional classical method of fault activity research, but dislocation measurement can only be performed on a local good fault outcrop. There are a limited number of field measurement points and the observation results are not equally limited depending on the sampling location and sampling method. The distribution of GPS stations is sparse, especially in the near-fault area, there is almost no GPS data. Therefore, the spatial resolution of the deformation field features obtained by GPS is low, and there are certain limitations in the kinematic parameter inversion using this method. In this study, we obtain the average InSAR line-of-sight deformation field from the Maomaoshan section to the mid-1920s earthquake rupture segment of the Haiyuan earthquake in the period from 2003 to 2010 based on the PSInSAR technique. The results show that there are obvious differences between the slip rates of the two walls of the fault in the north and the south, which are consistent with the motion characteristics of left-lateral strike-slip in the Haiyuan fault zone. Through the analysis of the high-density cross-fault deformation rate profile of the Laohushan segment, it is determined that the creep length is about 19km. Based on the two-dimensional arctangent model, the fault depth and deep slip rate of different locations in the Haiyuan fault zone are obtained. The results show that the slip rate and the locking depth of the LHS segment change significantly from west to east, and the slip rate decreases from west to east, decreasing from 7.6mm/a in the west to 4.5mm/a in the easternmost. The western part of the LHS segment and the middle part are in a locked state. The western part has a locking depth of 4.2~4.4km, and the middle part has a deeper locking depth of 6.9km, while the eastern part is less than 1km, that is, the shallow surface is creeping, and the creep rate is 4.5~4.8mm/a. On the whole, the 1920 earthquake's rupture segment of the Haiyuan fault zone is in a locked state, and both the slip rate and the locking depth are gradually increased from west to east. The slip rate is increased from 3.2mm/a in the western segment to 5.4mm/a in the eastern segment, and the locking depth is increased from 4.8km in the western segment to 7.5km in the eastern segment. The results of this study refine the understanding of the slip rate and the locking depth of the different segments of the Haiyuan fault zone, and provide reference information for the investigation of the strain accumulation state and regional seismic hazard assessment of different sections of the fault zone.  相似文献

The Daliangshan fault zone is the eastern branch in the central section of Xianshuihe-Xiaojiang fault system. It has been neglected for a long time, partly because of no destructive earthquake records along this fault zone. On the other hand, it is located on the remote and inaccessible plateau. So far it was excluded as part of the Xianshuihe-Xiaojiang fault system. Based on the interpretation of aerophotographs and field investigations, we document this fault zone in detail, and give an estimation of strike-slip rate about 3 mm/a in Late Quaternary together with age dating data. The results suggest that the Daliangshan fault zone is a newly-generated fault zone resulted from shortcutting in the central section of Xianshuihe-Xiaojiang fault system because of the clockwise rotation of the Southeastern Tibetan Crustal Block, which is bounded by the Xianshuihe-Xiaojiang fault system. Moreover, the shortcutting may make the Daliangshan fault zone replace the Anninghe and Zemuhe fault zones gradually, and finally, the later two fault zones will probably die out with the continuous clockwise rotation.  相似文献

The Anninghe fault is one of the significant earthquake-generating fault zones in the Southwest China. Local his-torical record shows that a M≥7 strong earthquake occurred in the year of 1536. On the basis of the detailed air-photographic interpretation and field investigation, we have acquired the following knowledge: 1 The average sinistral strike-slip rate since the Late Pleistocene is about 3~7 mm/a; 2 There is important reverse faulting along the fault zone besides the main left-lateral strike-slip motion, and the shortening rate across the Anninghe fault zone due to the reverse faulting is about 1.7~4.0 mm/a. If the Xianshuihe fault zone is simply partitioned into the Anninghe and Daliangshan faults, we can also get a slip rate of 3~7 mm/a along the Daliangshan fault zone, which is the same as that on the Anninghe fault zone. Moreover, on the basis of our field investigation and the latest knowledge concerning the active tectonics of Tibetan crust, we create a dynamic model for the Anninghe fault zone.  相似文献

IntroductionLocated in the western part of Sichuan Province, China, the Xianshuihe fault zone is a notable strong earthquake zone in the eastern Tibetan Plateau. At its northwestern end, the Xianshuihe fault zone overlaps the Ganzi-Yushu fault in a left-stepping pattern.
