强度折减有限元法是当前较为有效的边坡稳定性评价方法,且应用越来越广泛。但影响强度折减有限元法的因素有很多,单元阶次是其中比较重要的一个。通过3个经典算例,这些算例分别是二维地基承载力问题、二维边坡和三维边坡问题,分析了单元阶次的选择对强度折减法的影响。计算结果表明:随着单元的增多,线性单元和二次单元都从大于真实解的一侧来逼近真解;相对于二次单元,由于线性单元过“刚”,因此,会过高地估计安全系数,对于实际工程会偏于危险,且误差大,二次单元的误差是线性单元误差的1/8左右。在采用系统最大位移收敛与否的评判标准的基础上,利用二次单元来进行强度折减分析,则可以弥补这种线性单元的不足,得到更加合理的安全系数。二次单元比线性单元更适合于强度折减有限元法。  相似文献

The discontinuous deformation analysis (DDA) with second‐order displacement functions was derived based on six‐node triangular mesh in order to satisfy the requirement for the accurate calculations in practical applications. The matrices of equilibrium equations for the second‐order DDA were given in detail for program coding. By close comparison with widely used finite element method and closed form solutions, the advantages of the modified DDA were illustrated. The program coding was carried out in C++ environment and the new code applied to three examples with known analytical solutions. A very good agreement was achieved between the analytical and numerical results produced by the modified DDA code. Copyright © 2006 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The formulation of the poroelastoplastic constitutive equations at large strains of a fully saturated material is performed focusing on the usually ignored influence of large strain plasticity on the poroelastic properties. A micromechanics approach allows to take into account the evolution of the microstructure geometry which in turn induces a coupling between elasticity and plasticity. Such a coupling results in an additional term in the macroscopic Cauchy stress rate equation derived from inclusion‐based estimates that leads to a modified Jaumann derivative. The pressure rate equation is also analysed. The finite element discretization of finite poroplasticity is then presented taking into account the elasticity–plasticity coupling. Application to the consolidation situation shows that the coupling may lead to non‐negligible effects. Copyright © 2002 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Many of the existing pore pressure models for FEM analysis are limited either to cases where the pore pressure component produced by the shearing stress is neglected (usually restricted to static analysis) or where the component produced by the mean confining stress is disregarded (usually restricted to cyclic loading, as in earthquake and offshore engineering). A pore pressure model including the simultaneous effects of shear and mean confining stresses is presented in this paper. The model is simple and applicable to static as well as cyclic loading. The conceptual relationship between strains and pore pressure is well recognized in soil mechanics; however, it is difficult to determine the strains by FEM with the necessary accuracy to ensure satisfactory pore pressure predictions, mainly in the range of strains where the concepts of stress path are best applicable. To overcome this limitation, the proposed technique introduces a pore pressure function, to be coupled to a potential and a loading function in an elastic—plastic constitutive model. For simplicity, it is assumed that the pore pressure response can be satisfactorily represented by a path dependent calibrating function determined to fit experiments over a given range of confining pressures. This procedure allows the independent determination of the pore pressure increment before the iterative elastic—plastic procedure is activated, thus supplying the constitutive model directly with the appropriate direction and magnitude of the effective stress increment. The advantages of this procedure during undrained loading are presented in the text.  相似文献

In this note the accuracy of the elastic standard 4-node plane-strain finite element is investigated by comparing numerically calculated eigenvalues of the element stiffness matrix to those according to higher-order algebraic approximations. From this study it may be concluded that the ‘hourglass’ eigenmodes are the only inaccurate ones. For selective reduced numerical integration the hourglass eigenvalues may be expected to be of the order of 1/2 to 2/3 of the analytical values.  相似文献

A coupling scheme for boundary and finite elements using joint elements is proposed which includes the consideration of body forces. In this scheme the boundary and joint elements are formulated in a similar way as finite elements (i.e., the equivalent FE procedure). These joint elements are efficiently used to combine different BE regions. For the evaluation of a body forces, two methods are compared on computational efficiency and it is found that the method using Galerkin tensor is more efficient than the method dividing the problem domain into several internal cells. Two main geotechnical problems considering self weight are numerically examined using this coupling procedure.  相似文献

基于有限元强度折减法,进行了边坡的弹塑性材料非线性及大变形几何非线性分析,并考虑了边坡的三维变形情况。在有限元分析中采用的是莫尔-库仑理想弹塑性模型,大变形分析采用的是更新的拉格朗日法。均质边坡的算例分析表明,有限元法与简化的毕肖普法的安全系数计算结果具有相同的规律,即安全系数都随着黏聚力及内摩擦角的增加而增加,随着重度的增加而减小,但是,各种有限元法的计算结果都比相应的毕肖普法的解要大,亦即毕肖普法偏于安全。各种方法对应的安全系数由大到小的顺序依次是:三维小变形有限元分析、二维大变形有限元分析、二维小变形有限元分析,简化的毕肖普法,前二者能更好地反映实际的边坡变形情况,二者的安全系数值也十分接近,因而是较好的方法。  相似文献

The probable locations and the times of occurrence of earthquakes can be suggested if a reasonably accurate finite element model of the area is available. This can be done by determining the unstable regions of the model and studying their evolution in time. Instability of a particular area depends on how close such a region is to a limiting strength and this closeness can be interpreted statistically.  相似文献

This paper presents a numerical technique for the analysis of the cone penetration test by means of the commercial finite element code ABAQUS. The von Mises yield criterion with its associated flow rule is assumed to model the plastic behaviour of elastoplastic undrained clays. An explicit finite element scheme is used to efficiently perform a large number of loading increments and to simplify the treatment of contact. An Arbitrary Langrangian–Eulerian (ALE) scheme is adopted to preserve the quality of mesh throughout the numerical simulation. A volumetric weighting algorithm adjusts the relative positions of nodes after each loading increment. This prevents mesh over distortion and allows the simulation to run continuously. The variation of the cone resistance is examined in relation to various parameters such as the in situ stress state, shaft and cone face roughness, and the material strength when steady state conditions have been reached. The trends of these variations are highlighted and compared with those found by other researchers. This technique can be extended to analyse the plastic behaviour of elastoplastic sands often modelled using either the Drucker–Prager yield criterion or a critical state model.  相似文献

利用地质、地球物理成果,建立了横跨天山,包含准噶尔和塔里木盆地等构造单元的二维离散模型.模拟在5种不同边界条件下,整个天山构造带的应力应变和位移,结果表明:天山地区构造应力场以近NS向为主,主要动力源来自南部塔里木地块的向北推挤,北部准噶尔地块向南的推挤作用要弱于南部塔里木地块.主压应力多分布在天山地区下地壳及上地幔,主干断裂带附近也有集中,剪应力集中区分布在断裂带及其与地壳内界面相交处,总应变集中在天山下地壳及其上地幔部分,断裂带附近更为集中,尤其是边界断裂.剪应变主要集中在断裂带上,特别是边界断裂,位移以水平位移为主,在天山两侧山前最大,内部相对较小且以垂直位移为主.  相似文献

针对上覆岩体结构的复杂性,将节理、裂隙及正交各向异性岩体视为损伤岩体,建立了裂隙损伤岩体三维动态有限元分析模型,给出了较详细的三维仿真模拟有限元实施格式,完成了可考虑多种工程因素且能在WINDOWS下运行的三维模拟软件。分析模拟结果显示,对岩体结构复杂性的处理方式是可行的,所研制软件是有效的。  相似文献

将桩身视为空间受力的梁单元,利用更新的拉格朗日坐标体系考虑梁单元的几何非线性;并采用弧长控制法求解有限元非线性方程组,进行基桩屈曲的几何非线性有限元分析。利用Matlab语言编制了相应的计算程序,将某现场木桩压屈试验实测屈曲临界荷载与理论分析比较,吻合良好。大量计算分析表明,桩周土地基系数、基桩埋入比、桩身材料和基桩长细比是影响基桩屈曲荷载大小的重要因素,在设计和施工中都应重视和考虑。  相似文献

In this paper a typical soil–structure interaction problem is considered, the case of a vertical pile installed in sand and submitted to an axial compression loading. Results from two full scale pile tests are analysed and the tests are reproduced by numerical simulations via finite elements method (FEM). The choice of the mechanical parameters for the soil and the sand–pile interface and the modelling approach are first described. A new numerical strategy is outlined to account for pile installation effects due to jacking and driving via FEM. The proposed approach is based on the application of existing empirical correlations available for the quantification of residual radial and shear stresses along the pile shaft as well as residual pressures around the pile base after the installation. This approach is proposed as an alternative to more complex methods based on the numerical modelling of the pile penetration problem. The role of the constitutive modelling of the interface is also discussed. Finally, comparative analyses of pile loading tests using FEM are provided and the comparisons between numerical and experimental results are presented and discussed.  相似文献

Finite Element (FE) pseudo-static analysis can provide a good compromise between simplified methods of dynamic analysis and time domain analysis. The pseudo-static FE approach can accurately model the in situ, stresses prior to seismic loading (when it follows a static analysis simulating the construction sequence) is relatively simple and not as computationally expensive as the time domain approach. However this method should be used with caution as the results can be sensitive to the choice of the mesh dimensions. In this paper two simple examples of pseudo-static finite element analysis are examined parametrically, a homogeneous slope and a cantilever retaining wall, exploring the sensitivity of the pseudo-static analysis results on the adopted mesh size. The mesh dependence was found to be more pronounced for problems with high critical seismic coefficients values (e.g. gentle slopes or small walls), as in these cases a generalised layer failure mechanism is developed simultaneously with the slope or wall mechanism. In general the mesh width was found not to affect notably the predicted value of critical seismic coefficient but to have a major impact on the predicted movements.  相似文献

下限分析有限单元法将下限定理这一数学变分问题转化为一个数学规划问题,克服了人为构造可静应力场的困难,在实际工程中具有广阔的应用前景。通过有限元离散得到的非线性下限规划模型中包含大量的优化变量与约束条件,常规优化算法难以求解。为此,在分析非线性下限规划模型自身特点的基础上,引入可行弧技术和Wolfe非精确搜索技术改进其优化求解效率。算例分析表明,基于可行弧技术和Wolfe非精确搜索技术,下限分析有限单元法优化求解程序的收敛速度和步长搜索效率得到明显的提升,并且其数值稳定性良好、计算精度较高,可以较好地适应实际工程问题的计算。  相似文献

扩展有限元法是一种在常规有限元框架内求解强和弱不连续问题的新型数值方法,其原理是在裂尖附近用一些奇异函数和沿裂纹面用阶跃函数加强传统有限元的基,以考虑跨过裂纹的位移场的不连续,该加强策略允许计算网格独立于不连续体几何。讨论了扩展有限元法的一些数值方面,主要包括:水平集法确定界面和加强节点与加强方式、裂尖加强范围的选择、J积分区域的确定和积分方案等。  相似文献
