古气候分析典型实例的对比.表明中国热带第四纪的气候波动,海域与陆域的差异主要出现在早、中更新世及末次盛冰期,而晚更新世以来直至历史时期,海陆的气候波动基本同步。中国热带万年尺度的气候变化.既受地球轨道参数的驱动,亦受季风环流的影响;千年和百年尺度的气候变化,与太阳常数本身的变化有关。  相似文献

1952年全国高校院系调整后,新建的北京大学地质地理系开始了地貌与第四纪方面的教学和研究,标志着北大地貌第四纪学科的建立。65年来,在新构造活动与构造地貌、气候地貌与沉积、流水地貌与沉积、沉积相与比较沉积学、遥感与地理信息系统、第四纪地层与年代学、第四纪气候与环境变迁、海洋地球化学过程与环境演变、环境考古与古代人地关系研究等方面取得了丰硕成果,在一些领域发挥了创新与引领作用,解决了一系列国家建设中面临的问题,为中国地貌第四纪科学的发展做出了重要贡献。在地理学多元化发展的新形势下,北大地貌第四纪学科发展与科学研究将以地球系统科学的视角,加强地貌学与自然地理学各分支以及地球科学其他领域的交叉与融合,深化不同宏观时空尺度演化与现代过程关联的研究、以及影响地貌演化的地球系统各要素及相互作用研究,系统展开气候变化、环境演变与地貌过程的模拟研究,加强地貌第四纪理论研究和新技术新方法的发展与应用,推动中国地貌第四纪科学向更高水平发展。  相似文献

中国北方沙漠地区全新世气候变化的周期性探讨   总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4  
随着高精度全新世气候变化研究的深入,千、百年尺度上气候波动、周期性变化和气候事件不断被发现。北大西洋深海沉积物中发现的IRD事件、千年尺度上的约1500年周期性气候振荡已经被许多研究者共识,并在陆地湖泊、冰心乃至沙地和沙漠的沉积物中均有发现。百年尺度上的512年、400年、200年等周期性气候振荡还有待深入研究。研究表明,全新世以来,中国北方地区沙漠的扩大与缩小与全球气候的周期性变化具有密切的相关性,尤其是与千年尺度上的1500年的周期性震荡有关;数年-数十年尺度上的周期性气候振荡对我国沙尘暴的发生起着明显的控制作用。  相似文献

极端气候事件是在一定时间尺度上发生的不同于气候系统平均状态的气候突变.早第三纪的最热事件(PETM),第四纪中国黄土高原古土壤S4、S5记录的暖湿事件,砂黄土L9、L15记录的干冷事件等都是在轨道时间尺度上发生的极端气候事件.末次冰消期的YD冷事件、全新世9次冷事件是在千—百年尺度上发生的极端气候事件.这些极端气候事件出现于地球气候系统不同的冷暖背景下,它们的成因机制和表现形式有很多不确定性.20世纪以来发生的干旱、洪水、飓风、雪灾、沙尘暴等极端气候事件,无法用持续增加的温室气体的变化来解释.关于极端气候事件发生频率和强度随"全球变暖"而增加的结论也存在一定程度的不确定性.因此,简单地将现代极端气候事件统统归因于"气候变暖"既不科学也不合理.深入研究各个时间尺度上发生的极端气候事件的波动性、周期性和不确定性特征,有助于科学预测未来气候变化背景下极端气候事件的发展趋势.  相似文献

近40年来,中国北方荒漠化的发展速率为0.81%-1.64%/a,以往人们多侧重于对当代气候因素和人为因素的研究,而忽视第四纪环境演变的影响,分析了20000年来气候,风沙,黄土和第四纪环境的演变过程,采用GIS对干冷-温湿-干冷三个气候时段的荒漠化进行了定量的对比研究,并指出10000年来青藏高原的隆升是促使北方干旱和荒漠化的重要原因,自然因素导致荒漠化的时间尺度为万年或千年,人为因素导致荒漠化的尺度为百年或10年,第四纪环境是形成荒漠化的基础,植被,土被被破坏是当代荒漠化发展的直接原因,近50年来,中国北方的气候有向干,热方向演变的趋势,因此,荒漠化的防治将是21世纪中国的一项重大任务。  相似文献

运用子波分析方法探讨了δ^18O和积累量记录多尺度振荡特征,发现在年代际尺度上近百年来的升温仅是近2000年来的一次正常波动;在百年尺度上的升温是过去1700年来最强烈的一次,小冰期的三次冷期在该时间尺度上表现最明显,而中世纪暖期没有明显的反映。在温度和降水的组合中,无论在年代际尺度,还是在百年尺度和千年尺度上,暖湿、暖干、冷湿和冷干等四种类型的温湿组合气候都出现了。但是,在百年尺度上,以公元800’s为界,气候出现了转型,在此之前为暖干、冷湿,此后呈现暖湿、冷干的气候特征,伴随着气候状态转折的是200左右的周期发生了根本变化,之前该周期不明显,此后该周期的功率很强,达到了95%的信度标准。  相似文献

作为地球环境系统的重要组成部分,沙漠和沙地对气候变化响应敏感。沙漠沙地的环境变化关系到区域的可持续发展,并且通过一系列反馈作用,会影响区域与全球的气候环境。位于中国北方中部的毛乌素沙地是全球中纬度地区的典型沙地,其环境变化与全球其他沙漠沙地具有相似性和同步性。中国学者对毛乌素沙地风沙环境变化的研究开展较早,在国内外有重要的影响。本文系统梳理了该方面的相关研究,围绕“风沙环境变化的过程与机制”这一核心问题,总结学术界在毛乌素沙地晚新生代形成发展、晚第四纪扩张与多旋回变化、全新世中期固定以及晚全新世沙丘再活化等方面取得的重要进展,尤其是获取了毛乌素沙地不同阶段风沙环境变化的关键证据,并据此提出“构造—轨道尺度上沙地形成与变化的全球温度变化驱动”“千年—百年尺度沙丘系统的非线性响应”等新的理论认识。未来应继续加强沉积证据的积累、新测试手段的拓展应用、基于过程分析的精细重建、数值模拟与预测等研究,着力探究风沙环境变化的动力学机制、人与干旱区环境复杂系统的耦合关系以及各圈层的互馈作用,这对于自然地理学学科传承、交叉学科的融合发展以及地球系统科学的理论构建都具有深远意义。  相似文献

根据20多个有关沉积、δ18O、孢粉、石笋等分析实例,并与代表全球变化的气候曲线进行对比,认为中国热带万年尺度气候变化的机制,早更新世为轨道驱动,中更新世为季风环流的非轨道驱动,晚更新世为轨道驱动,这个过程与青藏高原隆起的高度和速率有关.晚更新世的千年尺度变化和小冰期的百年尺度变化,其机制是受太阳常数周期性变化的影响.  相似文献

在地球历史上,发生过气候的多次剧烈变动,仅在第四纪二百多万年的历史中就曾发生过二十余次冰期。每个冰期旋回约十万年,其中还包括众多时间较短、幅度较小的气候波动。同样,在地球历史上,海面也不是固定不变的,它也曾经历过多次的升降运动。引致海面升降的原因十分复杂,主要的原因有气候变化以及构造运动和大地水准面的变化。  相似文献

Desertification is a global phenomenon that affects about two billion people. It occurs in arid zones where the annual precipitation is below 400 mm, partic- ularly in the marginal areas of the world's largest deserts. It is a result of water and wind erosion, over- grazing, global warm-ing, improper soil cultivation, and increased pressure ot population growth, and it causes degradation of soil and natural and agricultural vegetation. The direct result is less food for people and livestock, which influences pop- ulation and animal husbandry fluctuations.
