高分辨率石笋记录的三峡库区小冰期气候变化

基于重庆水鸣洞石笋(NSM03)7个230Th年代数据和438个δ18O数据建立三峡库区1250~1750 A.D.时段分辨率约为1 a的δ18O记录。分析显示石笋δ18O值在1280 A.D.开始迅速偏重,在1300 A.D.附近偏到近500 a来最重,显示季风迅速减弱,库区进入小冰期。石笋记录显示小冰期存在明显的年代际尺度干湿波动,特别是在1400~1650 A.D.时段石笋δ18O值高频振荡,显示季风降水处于频繁波动期。功率谱分析显示石笋δ18O序列具有显著树轮Δ14C周期和ENSO准周期,揭示太阳活动是小冰期主要驱动因素,同时受到海气耦合作用影响。     

最近500年来福建玉华洞石笋氧同位素记录及气候意义

基于福建将乐玉华洞一支石笋(YH1)4个230Th年龄和370个氧同位素数据,并利用具有年层时标的湖北清江和尚洞石笋氧同位素记录的校正,重建了AD 1530以来1~3 a分辨率的石笋氧同位素序列。与当地现代器测气象资料对比发现,最近60 a来玉华洞石笋δ18O与当地夏半年降水量相关性最为显著(R=-0.35,n=55),而受温度的影响较弱,玉华洞石笋氧同位素较好的指示了当地夏半年降水量变化的信息。最近100 a来,福建玉华洞石笋的氧同位素组成具有逐渐变重的趋势,与其他地区高分辨率石笋δ18O具有相同的变化趋势,而且也与季风指数指示的季风减弱趋势相一致,进一步证实季风区石笋δ18O反映了东亚季风大尺度环流特征;在小冰期中后期(AD 1530~1850),玉华洞石笋δ18O在平均值-5.9‰高频振荡,存在一系列的数十年际尺度的季风增强和减弱事件,与亚洲—太平洋涛动(Asian Pacific Oscillation,APO)指数密切相关,说明玉华洞石笋δ18O所指示的降水信息受APO变化的影响。     

黄土高原东缘晚全新世高精度高分辨率石笋古环境记录

基于山西武乡太行龙洞一支石笋5个230Th年龄和190个氧同位素数据重建4 400~150 a B.P.高分辨率δ18O序列。石笋δ18O值逐渐增加,除最近约600 a外,在千年尺度长期趋势变化上与中国南部其它洞穴记录相一致,表明晚全新世亚洲夏季风强度持续减弱响应于同一驱动机制。一次显著的气候突变事件发生在2 550~2 000 aB.P.,与史料记载的干旱期大致相对应。功率谱分析揭示出106 a周期,与树轮Δ14C太阳活动周期大体一致,说明百年尺度上太阳活动与东亚季风变化有一定关联性。     

基于统计动力反演的东亚亚热带季风变化驱动机制研究

利用观测数据,运用非线性统计-动力学方法,反演系统各因子之间的相互关系,建立了东亚亚热带季风变化的动力方程,为研究东亚亚热带季风的驱动机制提供了量化参考。研究发现：过去2 000 a东亚亚热带季风是多因子通过反馈机制相互作用影响且具有耦合效应的复杂非线性动力系统,其驱动力主要来源于普若岗日冰芯δ¹⁸О代表的青藏高原热力作用强迫、太阳黑子活动、ENSO、温室气体单因子CO₂和CH₄浓度、北极温度和CH₄及北极温度与7月太阳辐射的耦合作用机制;反馈调节作用主要源于7月太阳辐射与太阳黑子活动、CH₄浓度、中国陆地地表温、CH₄与7月太阳辐射以及CO₂和CH₄的耦合调节作用。并通过动力反演机制推论热带西太平洋对亚热带季风有一定驱动作用,但并不是主要驱动力,即驱动亚热带季风变化的主源地并不在热带西太平洋海区,石笋δ¹⁸О指代的也主要是夏季风信息。     

神农架石笋记录的近200年东亚季风变化及其ENSO响应

通过湖北省神农架永兴洞石笋(编号:YX92)230Th年龄和纹层计数年代学研究,建立了1788AD-1956AD时段年际分辨率石笋氧同位素序列。该序列δ18O值变化范围为-9.70‰~-7.87‰,最大振幅约达1.83‰,呈现显著的年代际尺度振荡旋回特征。功率谱分析结果揭示存在显著的60~70年准周期信号。该记录与同区域和尚洞石笋δ18O曲线具有很好的重现性,说明其可能受控于共同的气候因子,指示了东亚夏季风大尺度环流特征。将石笋重建的东亚夏季风指标与全印度夏季降水量指示的印度夏季风指数对比,结果显示两者在年代际旋回特征上具有很好的相似性,但是呈反相位关系。进一步与ENSO指数对比,发现东亚夏季风年代际尺度变化与ENSO存在密切联系,表现为东亚夏季风增强,对应于ENSO暖期,反之亦然。因此,东亚季风与印度季风在年代际尺度上的反相位关系可能源于两者对ENSO机制的不同响应。     

基于EEMD方法的全新世亚洲季风石笋氧碳同位素对比研究

采用集合经验模态分解方法(EEMD),对贵州省董哥洞全新世石笋δ~(18)O、δ~(13)C记录进行多尺度分解,分别获得8、9个本征模分量。在254 a以下尺度上,石笋δ~(13)C和δ~(18)O的本征模分量基本一致,其中254 a和116 a两个周期都类似于大气Δ~(14)C表征的太阳活动周期,表明植被生产力和低纬水汽都受控于太阳活动。同一周期对应的δ~(13)C振幅几乎是δ~(18)O的2倍,说明洞穴地点的土壤生产率放大了太阳活动的初始信号。526 a周期对石笋δ~(13)C贡献最大(~20%),与北大西洋深层水体550 a周期一致,可能的机制是北半球高纬气候通过西风带影响了东亚大陆的环境变化。石笋δ~(13)C的趋势分量变化平稳,明显不同于δ~(18)O的趋势分量,表明洞穴地点的土壤生产率并不直接响应于轨道尺度的太阳辐射变化。     

中全新世7～6 ka东亚季风气候的高分辨率石笋记录

基于神农架青天洞石笋两个²³⁰Th年龄、582条纹层计数和183个氧同位素数据,重建了7～6ka B.P.期间平均3年分辨率的δ¹⁸O变化序列。持续约580年振幅达1.8‰的δ¹⁸O在平均值-9.66‰上下波动,指示了东亚季风降水强度的长期演化趋势和高频振荡信息,大致划分为4个百年尺度旋回。青天洞与阿曼石笋δ¹⁸O记录的对比表明,东亚季风和印度季风在百年或更短时间尺度上同相位变化,可能反映了两地季风气候受统一的印度洋/太平洋大尺度水汽循环控制。功率谱分析揭示出163、81、16和11年的周期,大致与树轮Δ¹⁴C百年至数十年尺度太阳活动变化周期相同。     

基于EEMD的太阳活动对印度夏季风的多尺度胁迫分析

选取10.55~2.7 kaBP Qunf洞的Q5石笋δ¹⁸O记录作为印度夏季风的代用指标,集合经验模态分解（EEMD）多尺度分析结果揭示了印度夏季风的强弱变化和与亚洲季风减弱事件的一致性,进一步讨论了11 kaBP以来印度夏季风的逐渐增强而后减弱的发展态势。选用同时期的古树年轮¹⁴C记录作为太阳活动代用指标,调频、调幅分析结果发现印度夏季风的31 a、70 a和7 860 a尺度分量受太阳活动相应分量的调频胁迫较为显著;同时又揭示出“太阳活动71 a周期-印度夏季风31 a周期”“太阳活动1 379 a周期-印度夏季风142 a周期”和“太阳活动2 376 a周期-印度夏季风733 a周期”三对调幅胁迫。     

年际―年代际尺度上南海北部SST与 东亚夏季风强度的负相关关系

选取南海北部珊瑚带宽-SST分别与甘肃万象洞WX42B石笋和贵州董哥洞DA石笋的δ18O记录在不同时段进行对比,揭示了南海北部SST变化与夏季风强度的关联。结果显示：在年际―年代际尺度上,南海北部珊瑚带宽-SST与石笋δ18O记录的夏季风强度存在负相关关系：南海北部SST升高,石笋δ18O偏重,夏季风强度减弱;反之亦然。南海北部器测SST与万象洞WX42B石笋δ18O记录的对比也证实了这一关系的存在。ENSO活动影响着季风区的降雨量,控制着南海北部的SST变化。ENSO的存在可能是造成这种负相关关系的直接原因。由于ENSO活动与季风区降雨量的关系存在区域性差异,南海北部SST与局部地区夏季风强度之间的关系仍需进一步的研究。     

温室气体强迫与东亚亚热带季风演变耦合效应及动力机制研究

基于主要温室气体（CO₂、CH₄和N₂O）强迫因子和石笋δ¹⁸О观测资料（1~2002 年）,分别利用关联性耦合模型和非线性统计-动力学方法,分析温室气体强迫与东亚亚热带季风演变耦合度的时序规律和定量反演模拟温室气体强迫对近2 000 a东亚亚热带季风演变影响的非线性趋势和相对贡献。研究发现：① 温室气体与季风演变耦合度的高低对应季风的强弱变化,即两者耦合作用越强,东亚亚热带季风越强;反之,两者耦合强度越小,东亚亚热带季风越弱;耦合度峰谷值对应季风极强降水和极端干旱时段。② 时序演变规律为：N₂O和CO₂相互作用与季风演变间耦合效应最强,成为东亚亚热带季风演变的主要驱动力。其次,N₂O一次项和CO₂非线性项对季风演变起主要的负反馈调节机制。③ 时序演变阶段上有所不同：1~180年,CH₄因子对季风演变主要起负反馈调节机制;180~1760年和1760~2002年,对季风演变起主要的驱动和调节机制分别为CO₂因子和N₂O因子;但1900年后N₂O和CO₂相互作用与季风演变的耦合驱动效应近百年来明显增强,耦合度在中等-较强（或极强）之间来回波动转换,耦合作用明显增强,在耦合度由较强（或极强）转弱至中等时,东亚亚热带季风也随之减弱。

Deserts and Aeolian Desertification in China: Book review and some thoughts

Desertification is a global phenomenon that affects about two billion people. It occurs in arid zones where the annual precipitation is below 400 mm, partic- ularly in the marginal areas of the world＇s largest deserts. It is a result of water and wind erosion, over- grazing, global warm-ing, improper soil cultivation, and increased pressure ot population growth, and it causes degradation of soil and natural and agricultural vegetation. The direct result is less food for people and livestock, which influences pop- ulation and animal husbandry fluctuations. Despite ef- forts to combat and reduce desertification, the affected areas are annually increasing.
