现今双星演化理论中,以子星的半径等于临界洛希瓣半径,作为双星中发生物质交换过程的判据,仅仅是一个为了将三维计算简化为一维计算而引入的近似判据.它在理论上是不严格的.本文给出了一个理论严格而又能一维计算的判据.并用新的判据和用子星半径等于临界洛希瓣半径的判据,对一个由9M和6M恒星组成的双星系统,进行了情况A的演化计算(即物质交换过程发生在主星中心氢燃烧阶段).结果证明,用新的判据时,双星中发生物质交换过程的起始时间提前,快速物质交换过程变短,平均物质交换率增大,但慢速物质交换过程变长.在物质交换过程结束时,主星和次星的质量、双星系统的轨道周期以及主星在赫罗图中的位置,都与采用子星半径等于相应洛希瓣半径作为判据的计算结果明显不同.这说明,发生物质交换过程的判据是否严格,对于双星演化的影响是不可忽略的.  相似文献

简要介绍和评述了预测RNA折叠结构(主要是RNA二级结构)的理论方法,对以RNA二级结构为基础的RNA三级结构的构建方法和分子力学进行了初步探索和研究。真核细胞前体mRNA中内含子的剪接过程涉及剪接位点(内含子的5′、3′剪接位点和分枝点)的核苷序列与一些小蛋白质分子之间特定的专一相互作用。对大量内含子、外显子-内含子-外显子以及外显子-外显子的核苷酸片段二级结构的分析表明,剪接位点大多位于二级结构的环区。剪接位点的这种结构分布特征与剪接过程的化学反应机制相符合,并可以作为识别剪接位点的一种结构信号。对mRNA和由其编码的蛋白质折叠结构进行比较研究后发现,两者之间存在着相关性:两者的二级结构单元(即mRNA二级结构的发夹,蛋白质中α-螺旋和β-折叠片)数基本上相同;蛋白质转角区域与mRNA二级结构的环区对应;两者的结构元素在空间上的排布相一致等。详细分析密码子在mRNA二级结构中的分布还发现,密码子在RNA二级结构中的分布规律与氨基酸的构象性质有一定联系。这些结果提示,mRNA与蛋白质之间除了存在一维线性遗传关系外,很可能还存在着某种三维结构的遗传关系  相似文献

郭守敬望远镜(Large Sky Area Multi-Object Fiber Spectroscopic Telescope,LAMOST)、斯隆数字巡天(Sloan Digital Sky Survey,SDSS)、英澳望远镜(AngloAustralia Telescope,AAT)等大多数多目标光纤光谱望远镜现用的数据处理流程都是基于一维算法的.以LAMOST为例提出多目标光纤光谱数据处理流程方法.在LAMOST现用数据处理流程中,在预处理过程之后,通过基于一维模型的抽谱算法从二维观测目标光谱数据中得到一维抽谱结果作为中间数据.后续的处理步骤都基于一维模型的算法.然而,这种数据处理流程不符合观测光谱的形成机理.因此,在每个步骤中都引入了不可忽略的误差.为了解决这一问题,提出了一种还未被用于LAMOST及其他望远镜数据处理系统的新颖的数据处理流程.重新设计安排了各个数据处理模块的顺序,各关键步骤算法都是基于二维模型的.核心算法将详细论述.此外,列出了部分实验结果来证明二维算法的有效性和优越性.  相似文献

We study the rotation of the sector structure of the solar magnetic field by using Stanford magnetographic observations from 1975 until 2000 and magnetic synoptic Hα-maps obtained from 1904 until 2000. The two independent series of observations yielded the same rotation periods of the two-sector (26.86 days) and four-sector (13.64 days) structures. We introduce a new index of the solar rotation, SSPM(t). The spectral power density of the sector structure of the magnetic field is shown to exhibit a 22-year cyclicity. The two-and four-sector structures of the magnetic field rotate faster at the maxima of even 11-year sunspot cycles. This phenomenon may be called the Gnevyshev-Ohl rule for the solar rotation. The 11-year sector-structure activity cycles are shown to lead the 11-year sunspot cycles (Wolf numbers) by 5.5 years. A 55-year component with the slowest rotation in the 18th cycle (1945–1955) was distinguished in the sector-structure rotation.  相似文献

An artificial satellite, flying in a purely gravitational field is a natural probe, such that, by a very accurate orbit determination, would allow a perfect estimation of the field. A true satellite experiences a number of perturbational, non-gravitational forces acting on the shell of the spacecraft; these can be revealed and accurately measured by a spaceborne accelerometer. If more accelerometers are flown in the same satellite, they naturally eliminate (to some extent) the common perturbational accelerations and their differences are affected by the second derivatives of the gravity fields only (gradiometry). The mission GOCE is based on this principle. Its peculiar dynamical observation equations are reviewed. The possibility of estimating the gravity field up to some harmonic degree (200) is illustrated.  相似文献

We report in this paper the analysis of the evolution of a magnetic fragment observed in NOAA 9445 on 5 May, 2001. This magnetic fragment emerged laterally to a filament which later split into two parts. The bifurcation site coincided with the magnetic fragment location and the part of the filament which split was later destabilized and a flare occurred. The magnetic flux variations in the magnetic fragment and in the surrounding area were analyzed and, considering their trends and other observational signatures (Hα brightenings and associated plasma motions), we could infer that it was a cancelling magnetic feature (CMF).We determined some geometrical and physical parameters of the CMF (area, magnetic flux variation, cancellation speed and flux cancellation rate) using high resolution magnetograms taken by BBSO. We compared the observed parameters of the CMF with the parameters of low‐lying reconnection current sheets given in the model proposed by Litvinenko (1999) and found good agreement between observed and theoretical values. We present the sunspot ideas and observations of the 18th century Portuguese scholar Teodoro de Almeida (1722 – 1804) and Mexican scientist José Antonio Alzate (1737 – 1799). We describe the implications of dating a single sunspot observation performed by Almeida in the early 1760s, during the maximum of cycle number 1. A possible solar cycle peak in 1760 (instead of 1761) is investigated. We present several observations of sunspots obtained by Alzate during 1769 (partially associated with the Venus and Mercury transits) and also on 20 July 1786. We estimate 100±34 as the Group Sunspot Number for this date. These records were unknown and, therefore, not included in the database compiled by Hoyt and Schatten (1998).  相似文献

Strong ultraviolet radiation from the Sun ionizes the upper atmosphere of Venus, creating a dense ionosphere on the dayside of the planet. In contrast to Earth, the ionosphere of Venus is not protected against the solar wind by a magnetic field. However, the interaction between charged ionospheric particles and the solar wind dynamic and magnetic pressure creates a pseudo-magnetosphere which deflects the solar wind flow around the planet (Schunk and Nagy, 1980). The combination of changing solar radiation and solar wind intensities leads to a highly variable structure and plasma composition of the ionosphere. The instrumentation of the Venus Express spacecraft allows to measure the magnetic field (MAG experiment) as well as the electron energy spectrum and the ion composition (ASPERA-4 experiment) of the upper ionosphere and ionopause. In contrast to the earlier Pioneer Venus Orbiter (PVO) measurements which were conducted during solar maximum, the solar activity was very low in the period 2006-2009. A comparison with PVO allows for an investigation of ionospheric properties under different solar wind and EUV radiation conditions. Observations of MAG and ASPERA have been analyzed to determine the positions of the photoelectron boundary (PEB) and the “magnetopause” and their dependence on the solar zenith angle (SZA). The PEB was determined using the ELS observations of ionospheric photoelectrons, which can be identified by their specific energy range. It is of particular interest to explore the different magnetic states of the ionosphere, since these influence the local plasma conductivity, currents and probably the escape of electrons and ions. The penetration of magnetic fields into the ionosphere depends on the external conditions as well as on the ionospheric properties. By analyzing a large number of orbits, using a combination of two different methods, we define criteria to distinguish between the so-called magnetized and unmagnetized ionospheric states. Furthermore, we confirm that the average magnetic field inside the ionosphere shows a linear dependence on the magnetic field in the region directly above the PEB.  相似文献

We discuss the study of solar magnetic fields based on the photospheric vector magnetograms of solar active regions which were obtained at Huairou Solar Observing Station near Beijing in the period of 22nd and 23th solar cycles. The measurements of the chromospheric magnetic field and the spatial configuration of the field at the lower solar atmosphere inferred by the distribution of the solar photospheric and chromospheric magnetic field. After the analysis on the formation process of delta configuration in some super active regions based on the photospheric vector magnetogram observations, some results are obtained: (1) The analysis of magnetic writhe of whole active regions cannot be limited in the strong field of sunspots, because the contribution of the fraction of decayed magnetic field is non-negligible. (2) The magnetic model of kink magnetic ropes, proposed to be generated in the subatmosphere, is not consistent with the evolution of large-scale twisted photospheric transverse magnetic field and the relationship with magnetic shear in some delta active regions completely. (3) The proposition is that the large-scale delta active regions are formed from contribution by highly sheared non-potential magnetic flux bundles generated in the subatmosphere. We present some results of a study of the magnetic helicity. We also compare these results with other data sets obtained by magnetographs (or Stokes polarimeters) at different observatories, and analyze the basic chirality of the magnetic field in the solar atmosphere.  相似文献

We compare a variety of nonlinear force-free field (NLFFF) extrapolation algorithms, including optimization, magneto-frictional, and Grad – Rubin-like codes, applied to a solar-like reference model. The model used to test the algorithms includes realistic photospheric Lorentz forces and a complex field including a weakly twisted, right helical flux bundle. The codes were applied to both forced “photospheric” and more force-free “chromospheric” vector magnetic field boundary data derived from the model. When applied to the chromospheric boundary data, the codes are able to recover the presence of the flux bundle and the field’s free energy, though some details of the field connectivity are lost. When the codes are applied to the forced photospheric boundary data, the reference model field is not well recovered, indicating that the combination of Lorentz forces and small spatial scale structure at the photosphere severely impact the extrapolation of the field. Preprocessing of the forced photospheric boundary does improve the extrapolations considerably for the layers above the chromosphere, but the extrapolations are sensitive to the details of the numerical codes and neither the field connectivity nor the free magnetic energy in the full volume are well recovered. The magnetic virial theorem gives a rapid measure of the total magnetic energy without extrapolation though, like the NLFFF codes, it is sensitive to the Lorentz forces in the coronal volume. Both the magnetic virial theorem and the Wiegelmann extrapolation, when applied to the preprocessed photospheric boundary, give a magnetic energy which is nearly equivalent to the value derived from the chromospheric boundary, but both underestimate the free energy above the photosphere by at least a factor of two. We discuss the interpretation of the preprocessed field in this context. When applying the NLFFF codes to solar data, the problems associated with Lorentz forces present in the low solar atmosphere must be recognized: the various codes will not necessarily converge to the correct, or even the same, solution. On 07/07/2007, the NLFFF team was saddened by the news that Tom Metcalf had died as the result of an accident. We remain grateful for having had the opportunity to benefit from his unwavering dedication to the problems encountered in attempting to understand the Sun’s magnetic field; Tom had completed this paper several months before his death, leading the team through the many steps described above.  相似文献

Significant discrepancies are often observed among the values of the mean magnetic field (MMF) of the Sun as a star observed by various instruments using various spectral lines. This is conventionally attributed to the measurement errors and “saturation” of a solar magnetograph in fine-structure photospheric elements with a strong magnetic field. Measurements of the longitudinal MMF performed in 1968–2006 at six observatories are compared in this paper. It is shown that the degree of discrepancy (slopes b of linear regression lines) varies significantly over the phase of the 11-year cycle. This gives rise to a paradox: the magnetograph calibration is affected by the state of the Sun itself. The proposed explanation is based on quantum properties of light, namely, nonlocality and “coupling” of photons whose polarization at the telescope-spectrograph output is determined by spacious parts of the solar disk. In this case, the degree of coupling, or “identity,” of photons depends on the field distribution in the photosphere and the instrument design (as Bohr said, “the instrument inevitably affects the result”). The “puzzling” values of slope b are readily explained by the dependence of the coupling on the solar-cycle phase. The very statistical nature of light makes discrepancies unavoidable and requires the simple averaging of data to obtain the best approximation of the actual MMF. A 39-year time series of the MMF absolute value is presented, which is indicative of significant variations in the magnitude of the solar magnetic field with a cycle period of 10.5(7) yr.  相似文献

中国科学院南京天文仪器研制中心在20世纪80年代研制35cm太阳磁场望远镜滤光器取得巨大的成功,其在双折射滤光器领域内的水平,已被国际太阳物理界公认。1989年以来,已向日本和韩国出口了11台复杂而昂贵的Lyot滤光器,并已在有关国立天文台和天文馆投入常规观测。最近,还为国外客户修复3台Lyot滤光器,它们都是德国和法国在30年前生产的。  相似文献
