The general picture of wetting the East European Plain in 1966–1985 is established by studying the trajectories of more than 5000 cyclones in the Northern Hemisphere. The role of the Arctic High as a regulator of the paths of the Atlantic cyclones is established. Large-scale ancient seismic dislocations represented by faults, landslides, and rockavalanches were discovered by remote sensing on the southeastern slope of the Andian Ridge in Dagestan. As a result of the strongest of these land- and rock-slides, dammed Lake Kezenoy-Am was formed. Essential structural features of the ruptures provide undoubted evidence of the seismotectonic origin of the latter. The kinematics of the ruptures (left-lateral strike-slip and thrust) is in conformity with geological data on neotectonic displacements in the Andian deep-seated fault zone. The acquired data allow considering this deep fault to be a major seismogenic structure and confirm the presence of a potential earthquake focus with M max = 7.0 disclosed previously in the Andian fault zone.  相似文献

The remote sensing observational study for infrared radiation of rocks was proceeded during the loading on rocks until failure. The major instruments used in experiments were transient spectrum apparatus, intelligent spectrum apparatus, infrared radiation thermometer, infrared spectrum radiometer, and infrared thermal imaging system. The experiments for 26 kinds of rocks were made. The studies show that infrared radiation temperature of rocks increases along with increasing of stress. The amplitude of infrared radiation spectrum of rocks also increases along with increasing of stress. The observational results of infrared thermal imaging of rocks are consistent with infrared radiation temperature. Before formation of major faults for some rocks, the belt-shape thermal imaging of temperature anomaly displaies in position of future major faults. This study has led the new technology of remote sensing into rock mechanics and tend to establish a new field in rock mechanics — remote sensing rock mechanics (or remote sensing rock physics). The application of remote sensing rock mechanics in prediction of earthquake and rock burst, and in measurement of stress field in rock mass is expected. In this paper, we show that to retrieve specified objects in massive remote sensing data set is very important in both practice and theory. An algorithm-based content retrieval in the massive data set is studied. To avoid the loss of information, the algorithm based on the Support Vector Machine classification is proposed. The nearly EW-trending East Kunlun fault zone is the north boundary of the Bayan Har block.The activity characteristics and the position of the eastern end of its eastward extension are of great significance to probing into the dynamic mechanism of formation of the east edge of the Tibetan Plateau,and also lay the foundation for seismic risk assessment of the fault zone.The following results are obtained by analysis based on satellite image interpretation of landforms,surface rupture survey,terrace scarp deformation survey,and terrace dating data on the eastern part of the East Kunlun fault zone:(1)the Luocha segment is a Holocene active fault,where a reverse L-shape paleoearthquake surface rupture zone of about 50 km long is located;(2)the Luocha segment is characterized by left-lateral slip movement under the compression-shear condition since the later period of the Late Pleistocene,with a rate of 7.68–9.37 mm/a and a vertical slip rate of 0.7–0.9 mm/a,which are basically in accord with the activity rate of segments on its west side.The results indicate that it is a part of eastward extension of the East Kunlun fault zone;(3)the high-speed linear horizontal slip of the nearly EW-trending East Kunlun fault zone is blocked by the South China block at east,and transforms into the vertical movement of the nearly SN-NNE trending Minjiang fault zone and the Longmenshan fault zone,and the uplift of Longmenshan and Minjiang.The area where transform of the two tectonic systems occurred confines the position of the east end;(4)Luocha segment and Maqu segment constitute the"Maqu seismic gap",so,seismic risk at Maqu segment is higher than that at Luocha segment,which should attract more attention.  相似文献

The Kamchatka Branch of the Geophysical Service (KB GS) of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) has been observing the activity of Kamchatka volcanoes since 2000 in near real time using three methods: (1) seismicity monitoring (2) visual and video observations, and (3) satellite monitoring of thermal anomalies and ash discharges. The joint use of these data provides objective information on the state of the volcanoes from which to predict possible eruptions. During the period of time investigated, which culminated in the eruptions of March 10, 2003 to February 27, 2004 and January 12, 2005 to April 28, 2005, two active periods of Klyuchevskoi Volcano were identified. The results from our study of the first of these periods helped define an approximate scenario for the activity of the volcano before a summit eruption. The use of this experience in combination with an analysis of the literature enabled us to produce a successful short-term forecast of the January 2005 eruption.  相似文献

Bathymetric maps produced from remotely sensed imagery are increasingly common. However, when this method is applied to fluvial environments, changing scenes and illumination variations severely hinder the application of well established empirical calibration methods used to obtain predictive depth–colour relationships. In this paper, illumination variations are corrected with feature based image processing, which is used to identify areas in an image with a near‐zero water depth. This information can then be included in the depth–colour calibration process, which results in an improved prediction quality. The end product is an automated bathymetric mapping method capable of a 4 m2 spatial resolution with a precision of ±15 cm, which allows for a more widespread application of bathymetric mapping. The orbit perturbation of meteorologic satellite is used for the inversion of stress drop dynamic field of regional crustal structure. Rapid scanning over vast area is carried out to obtain short term earthquake-generating precursor field of seismic source and near-source districts in order to predict the three earthquake elements: epicenter, magnitude and commencement time of earthquake with the same effect as weather forecast. Taking the strong earthquakes that occurred in recent years in the NW of Yunnan as examples, direct deduction has been made for Lijiang and Wuding earthquakes, and curves of dynamic characteristics of stress drop before and after earthquakes as well as abnormal fluctuations of precursor stress drop and commencement time of earthquake have been plotted.  相似文献

Determination of source parameters of small earthquakes from amplitude ratios of and is studied in this paper when the distribution of the regional seismic network is skew to the earthquakes. The distribution of stations of the seismic network was to one side of the 17 earthquakes chosen from among 39 earthquakes in the east part of Guangdong and south part of Fujiang Province. The distribution of stations was classified into three types according to their relative positions with respect to the chosen earthquakes and the experiments of artificial data were done. Excellent results were also presented in various unfavourable conditions by using the method. As to the 39 small earthquakes recorded by the network in east Guangdong and south Fujian Province from 1982 to 1986, the results can be summarized as follows: Most of the fault planes of the earthquakes apear to be steep. Most of the principal compression stressesP and tensile stressesT are nearly horizontal, concentrating in the WNW-ESE direction. 基于遥感提取地震灾情信息,需要处理高分辨率的大数据量遥感影像。采用数据库的方式,对系统处理过程中可能用到的图像文件、典型震害样本文件、系统特征模型库文件、GIS文件以及以往地震处理实例等文件进行管理,将系统各种资源融为一体,将提高地震应急震害遥感评估的效率,提高应急的速度。文中针对IDL在数据库管理方面的不足,提出了利用IDL与VB联合开发遥感图像数据库的解决方案,并具体介绍了图像数据库的实现方式。  相似文献

太湖真光层深度的计算及遥感反演   总被引:1,自引:3,他引:1  
真光层是浮游植物进行光合作用的水层,真光层反演有利于初级生产力的进一步估算.利用2007-01-07和2006-084-01两期陆地卫星TM数据与同步水质参数数据,建立太湖水体非色素颗粒物浓度和叶绿素a浓度的反演模型,反演出太湖冬、夏两季的非色素颗粒物、叶绿素a浓度.然后根据在太湖建立的真光层深度与非色素颗粒物、叶绿素a浓度之间的关系模型,计算得到太湖冬、夏两季真光层深度空间分布.结果表明,就整个湖区而言,冬季真光层深度变化范围为0.27-2.28m,均值为0056±0.22m,夏季真光层深度变化范围为0.21-2.03m,均值为0.98±0.24m.从空间上看,冬季时真光层深度的变化规律为:南太湖<西部沿岸<湖心区<胥口湾<贡湖湾<梅梁湾<东太湖<竺山湾;夏季时的变化规律为:西部沿岸<梅梁湾<东太湖<湖心区<贡湖湾<竺山湾<南太湖<胥口湾.从季节上看,夏季真光层深度显著大于冬季,但不同湖区真光层深度季节变化也存在一定差异,其中梅梁湾、贡湖湾、西部沿岸、湖心区、胥口湾、南太湖夏季真光层深度大于冬季,而竺山湾和东太湖夏冬变化则不是很明显.  相似文献

利用1993~2004年SSM/I被动微波辐射仪反演的雪深资料,1996~2004年NOAA/AVHRR可见光和红外反演的积雪覆盖面积资料,1966~2003年藏北地区6个地面台站的积雪观测资料来检验卫星资料的可用性,并研究近年来藏北积雪的时空分布和影响因素.结果表明,SSM/I, NOAA/AVHRR和实际观测的积雪资料具一致性.从积雪时间变化看:季节尺度上,藏北地区秋冬季积雪迅速增加,但春季(3~5月)融雪速度不快,呈现正反馈特征;年际尺度上,藏北地区20世纪60年代末期起积雪开始减少,80年代积雪增加,90年代起到2003年积雪总体上减少,呈现出减少—增加—减少趋势.采用小波分析发现积雪振荡周期存在着一个准2~3年,准9年和13年的周期,从20世纪70年代初到90年代中期还有一个5年的周期.积雪空间上看,藏北地区积雪主要集中在东部地区,该区每个冬春年积雪覆盖旬数超过15旬,显著高于西部少雪区,大部分积雪集中在4900~5600 m的高度左右;藏北高原积雪变动的显著区位于藏北中东部的安多和聂荣地区.利用藏北地区1966~2003年的地面温度和降水资料建立回归方程模拟年累积雪日,结果表明模拟值与实测值之间的相关系数达0.74.积雪时空分布受温度、降水等因子影响明显.1998~2003年藏北积雪的减少与全球变暖有关,但降水的减少可能是导致近年来藏北积雪减少的更主要因素.  相似文献

为了研究华南东部地区岩浆活动的深部构造背景,对吉安-福州宽频大地电磁测深剖面数据进行了系统的分析和处理,并利用非线性共轭梯度法进行二维反演,得到了武夷隆起带及周缘地区的岩石圈电性结构;结合区域重磁资料,详细分析了研究区内地壳、上地幔电性结构特征及地质含义.结果表明:华南东部地区岩石圈电性结构存在明显的分区性,并且壳内普遍发育不同成因的高导层,揭示出华南东部地区不同构造单元内的岩浆活动具有不同的成岩构造背景.其中,东南沿海褶皱带深部热侵蚀活跃,岩石圈物质和结构被强烈改造,电阻率普遍较低,软流圈上涌并伴随玄武岩浆底侵,导致岩石圈、地壳剧烈减薄;而武夷隆起带岩石圈电阻率相对较高,印支-燕山早期陆内挤压变形的构造形迹明显,晚中生代岩石圈拉张伸展作用对该地区岩石圈的物质结构有一定的改造.
