内容提要:为了更好地理解中国东北及邻区白垩纪各块体的旋转运动模式及其运动量,本文根据最新的地层学进展分早白垩世中期、早白垩世晚期与晚白垩世三个阶段对该区古地磁数据进行了精细分析。通过与华北-华南地块(不包括朝鲜半岛、辽东及胶东半岛)相应时期的古地磁极对比,说明朝鲜半岛及辽东早白垩世中、晚期相对华北-华南地块分别顺时针旋转约11º,晚白垩世以来没有明显的旋转运动。辽西地区则出现了小幅度的逆时针旋转运动。以上旋转运动与太平洋板块俯冲引起的中国东北及邻区强烈岩石圈减薄和伸展作用具有密切联系。  相似文献

Early Cretaceous Tectonics and Evolution of the Tibetan Plateau   总被引:1,自引:1,他引:0  
Selected geological data on Early Cretaceous strata, structures, magmatic plutons and volcanic rocks from the Kunlun to Himalaya Mountains reveal a new view of the Early Cretaceous paleo-tectonics and the related geodynamic movement of the Tibetan Plateau. Two major paleo-oceans, the Mid-Tethys Ocean between the Qiangtang and Lhasa blocks, and the Neo-Tethys Ocean between the Lhasa and Himalayan blocks, existed in the Tibetan region in the Early Cretaceous. The Himalayan Marginal and South Lhasa Seas formed in the southern and northern margins of the Neo-Tethys Ocean, the Central Tibet Sea and the Qiangtang Marginal Sea formed in the southern and northern margins of the Mid-Tethys Ocean, respectively. An arm of the sea extended into the southwestern Tarim basin in the Early Cretaceous. Early Cretaceous intensive thrusting, magmatic emplacement and volcanic eruptions occurred in the central and northern Lhasa Block, while strike-slip formed along the Hoh-Xil and South Kunlun Faults in the northern Tibetan region. Early Cretaceous tectonics together with magmatic K2O geochemistry indicate an Early Cretaceous southward subduction of the Mid-Tethys Oceanic Plate along the Bangoin-Nujiang Suture which was thrust ~87 km southward during the Late Cretaceous-Early Cenozoic. No intensive thrust and magmatic emplacement occurred in the Early Cretaceous in the Himalayan and southern Lhasa Blocks, indicating that the spreading Neo-Tethys Oceanic Plate had not been subducted in the Early Cretaceous. To the north, terrestrial basins of red-beds formed in the Hoh-Xil, Kunlun, Qilian and the northeastern Tarim blocks in Early Cretaceous, and the Qiangtang Marginal Sea disappeared after the Qiangtang Block uplifted in the late Early Cretaceous.  相似文献

新疆乌恰早白垩世孢粉植物群及其环境意义   总被引:9,自引:2,他引:7  
基于新疆乌恰地区下白垩统克孜勒苏群51属77种孢子花粉化石的研究,建立了研究区早白垩世早期和晚期两个孢粉植物群。早期孢粉植物群以裸子植物松柏纲松杉目为主,包括掌鳞杉科、松科、罗汉松科、南美杉科和杉科;晚期孢粉植物群的主要成员与早期孢粉植物群基本一致,不同的是掌鳞杉科植物含量大幅度下降。根据孢粉植物群的特征,探讨了该区早白垩世古生态、古气候、沉积环境及古地理意义。研究结果表明乌恰地区早白垩世气候属于亚热带干燥或半干燥型,早期气候温暖干燥,晚期气候暖热半干燥。孢粉学资料显示乌恰地区早白垩世孢粉植物群成员多样,既有来自山地的松杉目植物,又有生长于沼泽湿地的苔藓植物,反映了当时古地理景观复杂多样、植物群落地理分布有明显的垂直分带现象。  相似文献

胶莱盆地是形成于中生代晚侏罗世的陆相盆地,构造变形较为复杂。在野外断裂构造变形观测的基础上,结合年代学数据和地层沉积序列,确立了胶莱盆地白垩纪的变形演化历史。总体上,胶莱盆地在形成和演化过程中沉积了3套地层,经历了多个构造变形阶段。其中,发生在白垩纪的变形阶段主要有:(1)早白垩世早期,鲁东地区受区域近E—W向引张应力场控制,胶莱盆地发生大规模的火山喷发,喷发间歇期沉积了大盛群;早白垩世晚期,受强烈的区域性NW—SE向挤压,胶莱盆地褶皱回返。(2)晚白垩世早期,在区域近S—N向引张应力作用下,诸城断陷盆地发育,王氏群沉积;晚白垩世晚期,胶莱盆地受区域性NE—SW向挤压,导致王氏群褶皱变形。  相似文献

库车坳陷东部具有丰富的油气资源,其构造变形机制与南天山造山带密切相关。综合采用露头共轭节理及白垩系残余厚度分布,分析了库车坳陷东部晚白垩世古隆起特征及构造应力场属性。吐格尔明、克孜勒努尔沟、库车河、卡普沙良河、吉迪克以及库车河西6条剖面的共轭节理分析表明,库车坳陷东部新生代构造挤压应力为NNW-SSE向,而中生代的构造挤压应力为NE-SW向。原型盆地恢复显示,库车坳陷白垩纪的沉积中心大致位于大北1井―吐北2井―克拉2井一线,且发育秋里塔格―新和―牙哈―提尔根古隆起带,白垩系原始沉积厚度总体上北厚南薄。在晚白垩世区域抬升剥蚀的构造背景下,坳陷东部受压隆升遭受剥蚀,白垩系残余厚度减薄,呈西厚东薄的趋势。位于坳陷东部的吐格尔明背斜在石炭纪―三叠纪为一个长期存在的继承性沉积古隆起,晚白垩世进一步隆升形成构造古隆起,背斜周缘的白垩系残余厚度进一步减薄。吐格尔明背斜和背斜周缘白垩系残余厚度等值线以及库北1井和库车河剖面周缘白垩系残余厚度等值线的长轴方向均为NW-SE向,进一步证实了库车坳陷东部晚白垩世的构造应力为NE-SW向。库车坳陷东部晚白垩世古隆起与构造应力场属性主要与特提斯造山带中地体增生和拼贴作用导致的特提斯北缘盆地群中发生的区域性抬升有关。  相似文献

针对羌塘盆地是否存在早白垩世海相沉积,以那底岗日地区主干剖面为依托,结合胜利河、托纳木、长蛇山等已初步判断为早白垩世的油页岩剖面为辅助剖面,采用古生物化石定年和同位素定年相结合的研究方法,对胜利河-托纳木地区原初步定为晚侏罗世-早白垩世的海相地层时代作了进一步研究,结果表明,其时代为早白垩世。这些海相地层在胜利河-托纳木地区广泛分布,但岩性组合存在一定的差异,在胜利河-长蛇山地区为油页岩,厚度最大,向东逐渐变薄,过渡为页岩沉积,向西过渡为灰岩沉积。区域上该套地层对下伏油气藏的保存具有重要意义。  相似文献

自21世纪以来,中国南方海、陆相白垩系研究有显著进展。依据我国南方大地构造环境和白垩系发育特点,将其白垩系划分为5个地层区和8个地层分区;文中在分析全球年代与生物地层研究进展的基础上,对我国南方海、陆相白垩纪年代地层划分、底界界线层型及陆相白垩系上/下统的界线作了扼要介绍,并指出我国西南特提斯区海相侏罗系/白垩系界线研究已接近国际水平。  相似文献

烃源岩是油气生成的物质基础,白垩系烃源岩以29%的比例居全球各层系之首。通过古地磁与地理信息数据耦合,以及对所有白垩系烃源岩层位数据的统计和对比,恢复了白垩系烃源岩的分布特征,分析了其发育环境。结果表明:(1)白垩系烃源岩主要发育于阿普特阶—土伦阶(占白垩系烃源岩的52 63%)。(2)白垩系烃源岩主要发育于2种构造、沉积环境:陆表海环境(非典型被动陆缘)和裂谷环境。(3)白垩纪早期,烃源岩干酪根以Ⅰ型为主;白垩纪中期,烃源岩干酪根过渡为以Ⅱ型为主,Ⅰ型较少;白垩纪晚期,Ⅲ型干酪根烃源岩迅速增多。(4)白垩纪大陆裂解边缘出现富有机质沉积,上升流促进生物繁盛,高温、干旱的气候使陆表浅海区盐度较高,其还原环境有利于烃源岩的保存。  相似文献

鸡西、勃利盆地白垩纪砂岩骨架矿物成分的模式分析显示:下白垩统城子河组和穆棱组砂岩的源区主要为切割型岛弧,结合古水流方向和砂岩地球化学特征研究,物源区主要为小兴安岭-张广才岭;上白垩统猴石沟组砂岩的源区主要为基底隆升和切割型岛弧。结合古水流方向和砾石的统计结果认为,鸡西、勃利盆地物源区主要为桦南隆起和密山隆起,以及小兴安岭-张广才岭。据白垩纪砂岩物源,晚白垩世砾岩成分,以及区域地质资料分析,下白垩统城子河组和穆棱组时期,鸡西盆地、勃利盆地和黑龙江东部各盆地为统一的原型盆地,早白垩世末期随着桦南隆起和密山隆起的隆升而破坏。并在晚白垩世早期已隆升,并为周缘盆地提供物源,形成现今黑龙江东北部地区的盆岭格局。  相似文献

In northwestern Turkey, the pre-Eocene basement of the Thrace Basin consists of the Strandja-Rhodope metamorphics in the north/northwest, the ?stanbul-Zonguldak Paleozoic sequence in the northeast, a tectonic mixture of the fragments from the Sakarya Continent and pre-Upper Cretaceous ophiolites in the southeast, and the uppermost Cretaceous–Paleocene transgressive sediments. The ophiolites belong to a Dogger-Early Cretaceous oceanic basin (the Northeastern Vardar Ocean) between the Rhodope and Sakarya Continents. The NE-trending oceanic branch closed diachronously during the early Late Malm to the northeast but during latest Early Cretaceous to Late Cretaceous time toward the main Vardar Ocean in the southwest. During the final closure, the suture zone acted as a strike-slip fault zone. The latest Cretaceous–Paleocene transpressional to transtensional activities caused the juxtaposition of different basement types and the development of a tectonic mixed zone (the Biga–Armutlu–Ovacik Zone) between the Rhodope and Sakarya Continents. Under the regional N–S compression, on the plate overlying the north/northeastward-dipping Vardar subduction zone, the southwestward escape of an area of crust bounding by the WNW-trending Balkan-Thrace Dextral Fault Zone to the north and the NE-trending Biga–Armutlu–Ovacik Sinistral Zone to the southeast caused a triangular-shaped and isolated depression area for the deposition of the uppermost Cretaceous–Paleocene transgressive sediments in a transtensional setting. The tectonically bounded depression area constitutes also a necessary accommodation space for the deposition of the initial deposits of Early Eocene age in the Thrace Basin.  相似文献

The marine Cretaceous of China is distributed mainly in southwestern Xinjiang, the West Kunlun Mountains, the Karakorum Mountains and most parts of Xizang (Tibet), with findings even from Taiwan.The marine Cretaceous of China may be divided into three sedimentary belts according to the lithologic and tectonic characters, biological provinces and the different modes of deposition.On the basis of recent research on the Cretaceous marine strata and faunas in China, the lithostratigraphic and biostratigraphic sequences have been preliminarily established and the division and correlation of strata and boundaries between the Jurassic and Cretaceous, Lower Cretaceous and Upper Cretaceous, as well as Cretaceous and Tertiary outlined; the position of the beach line of the Laurasian landmass in China and the events of the tectonic movement and the transgression and regression during the Cretaceous period are discussed.  相似文献

对我国东北、西南和东南沿海地区目前常用的陆相侏罗、白垩系的划分、对比方案的精度及其与海相标准分阶的对比证据进行了扼要分析和述评 ,指出东北地区陆相白垩系序列可以划分出 13个组 ,其精度已赶上了海相白垩系 12个阶的标准 ,而且许多组已找到了将海陆相地层进行对比的联系化石分子 ,亦具备了陆相地层建阶的条件。同时认为我国中生代陆相地层划分对比表中以往很少表现出地层缺失 ,大多数地区似乎从下向上都存在一个完整的沉积序列 ,这是与陆相地层形成的实际不相符的 ,今后要进一步做工作。  相似文献

尼雄地区早白垩世磁铁矿以成矿岩体及矿床研究偏多,忽略围岩时代及其成矿地质背景分析。尼雄早白垩世磁铁矿可分为矽卡岩型和热液脉型,而达及藏布地区热液脉型磁铁矿与基性岩脉密切相关,通过共生辉长岩岩脉锆石U-Pb年龄(120.1±1.7 Ma)限定热液脉型磁铁矿成矿时代约120 Ma,与已经确定成矿时代的矽卡岩型铁矿成矿时代一致,指示尼雄矿田两种类型磁铁矿受控于相同的地质背景。通过尼雄岩体碎屑岩围岩(原上二叠统敌布错组)碎屑锆石测年,获得其沉积时代介于130~120 Ma之间,故将上二叠统敌布错组重新厘定为下白垩统则弄群。结合区域地层及岩浆岩新资料,认为冈底斯中部则弄群火山岩与侵位于其中的岩体构成一个早白垩世火山-侵入杂岩体系,其与尼雄矿田早白垩世磁铁矿密切相关。该早白垩世火山-侵入杂岩地球化学特征及尼雄附近浅表层次构造共同指示冈底斯中部在早白垩世处于伸展构造背景。最后,依据伸展构造背景新认识建立了尼雄地区早白垩世磁铁矿成矿地质模型。  相似文献

白垩系是西昆仑山前地区最重要的储层,受区域构造演化控制,其岩性与分布在纵、横向上均发生变化。下白垩统为冲积扇辫状河相沉积的红色砾岩、砂岩夹泥岩;上白垩统英吉沙群在研究区西部为一套海相碳酸盐岩地层。白垩系在喀什凹陷最厚,往西、往东、往北均逐渐变薄,并发生相变与尖灭,控制储层发育。本文在研究区域首次通过地震相研究,根据白垩系反射特征精细追踪对比其层位,确定尖灭位置,进而确定白垩系分布范围。研究认为,地震相能在区域上宏观地反映白垩系的沉积特征与分布范围,进而指导油气勘探,具有很重要的现实意义。  相似文献

库车坳陷是我国重要的能源基地之一,白垩系是其主要储层。长期以来,该坳陷白垩系的地层划分存在较大争议,其中是否存在上白垩统是争议问题焦点之一。笔者等根据发现的晚白垩世钙质超微化石,证实了库车坳陷巴什基奇克组上部地层属于晚白垩世并存在海相沉积;根据前人在库车坳陷及塔东北井下发现的晚白垩世介形虫、轮藻等化石,证实了这些地区也同样存在上白垩统,古城组是其晚白垩世陆相沉积的代表。若干露头剖面和井下岩芯晚白垩世钙质超微化石的发现,表明特提斯海水曾侵进到该盆地。该坳陷及塔东北地区晚白垩世存在海相和陆相两类沉积体系。  相似文献

Previous authors have related the Late Cretaceous/early Tertiary subsidence of the Mississippi embayment to the opening of the Gulf of Mexico, but the Gulf opened earlier in Triassic/Jurassic time. We offer an alternative hypothesis that development of the embayment was coeval with the passage of the Mississippi Valley graben system over the Bermuda hotspot about 90 Ma. Several lines of evidence of significant uplift of the embayment axis accompanying mid-Cretaceous magmatism and prior to Late Cretaceous subsidence support this proposal.

First, reactivation of the Pascola arch in the northern embayment is recorded by flanking deposits of basal Upper Cretaceous gravel. Second, beneath a regional mid-Cretaceous unconformity, subcrops of Jurassic and Early Cretaceous strata define a pronounced southwest-plunging arch in the southern embayment. This arch is collinear with an arch revealed in Paleozoic rocks after restoration to mid-Cretaceous structural geometries. Third, a deep weathering profile on mid-Cretaceous alkalic plutons along the western embayment margin is nonconformably overlain by Paleocene sediments, and rapid mid-Cretaceous cooling of these intrusions has been interpreted from apatite fission tracks. Moreover, exploratory holes along the embayment axis encountered similar weathered alkalic intrusions nonconformably overlain by basal Upper Cretaceous strata. Fourth, there was an anomalous influx of clastic sediment into the northern Gulf of Mexico during mid-Cretaceous time, and subsequent clastic facies patterns suggest the Mississippi River drainage began to enter the Gulf in the Late Cretaceous.

Passage of the Mississippi Valley graben over the Bermuda hotspot during elevated hotspot activity of Cretaceous time may have significantly weakened the previously rifted lithosphere. Rifted continental margin at Charleston, South Carolina, also passed over this hotspot in latest Cretaceous time. Similarly, the St. Lawrence rift system passed over the Great Meteor hotspot during the Cretaceous. It is important to note that these rift systems are the principal loci of strong seismicity in eastern North America, and thus weakening by increased Cretaceous hotspot activity may be an important common factor for these seismic rift zones.  相似文献

东尼日尔Termit盆地是中西非裂谷系中典型的中—新生代裂谷盆地。在充分应用钻井和地震解释资料的基础上,根据构造、沉积充填及主要区域性不整合面的特征,分析了该盆地的演化过程。盆地内主要发育两类断层,第一类断层形成于早白垩世,于古近纪发生继承性活动,第二类断层为形成于古近纪的新生断层。全盆地普遍存在4个主要区域性不整合面,分别位于下白垩统、上白垩统、古近系、新近系—第四系底部。下白垩统和古近系沉积特征受断层活动控制明显,上白垩统和新近系沉积中心位于盆地中部,在其沉积时构造活动较弱。构造和沉积充填特征表明,Termit盆地经历了白垩纪和古近纪—第四纪两期裂谷旋回叠置的演化过程。下白垩统和古近系沉积于同裂谷期,沉积充填受断层活动控制;上白垩统和新近系—第四系沉积于后裂谷期,以热沉降拗陷作用为主。  相似文献

The western part of the Tarim Basin in Xinjiang is one of the main areas in China where the marineCretaceous is well developed. The Upper Cretaceous Yingjisha Group represented mainly by sediments of lit-toral, near-shore neritic and estuarine facies is divided in ascending order into the Kukebai Formation, theOytak Formation, the Ygezya Formation and the Tuylouk Formation. For about thirty years, the basal beds of the Kukebai Formation had been considered to be the lowermostmarine horizon of the Cretaceous in the western part of the Tarim Basin, which represents the earliest trans-gression of the Cretaceous Sea into this region. Recently. marine trace fossils, Ophiomorpha nodosa, O.tuberosa and Thalassinoides? spp. were found in abundance and fine preservation from the upper subcycle andupper part of the lower subcycle of the Kezlesu Group underlying the Kukebai Formation. The fact indicatesthat the marine transgression there took place earlier than the Kukebaian. Process of transgression and regression and change of environment in the West Tarim Basin during the pe-riod from the late Early Cretaceous to the end of the Cretaceous is also discussed in this paper.  相似文献
