The study quantifies the environmental risk factors for two diseases with different vectors and cycles of transmission: malaria and Chagas' disease in N.W. Argentina near the Bolivian border. This is the area within Argentina where malaria is still a serious health problem. Chagas' disease is to some extent present in many parts of the country. The field work for the study concerned 5903 people in 1466 dwellings. The study resulted in detailed maps of risk factors: particularly water quality and contacts with migrants from Bolivia in the case of malaria; and thatched roofs and dogs in the case of Chagas' disease. 采用1960-2002年新疆11个探空站逐日观测资料,按气候特点和径流情况把新疆划分为阿尔泰山西坡,天山北坡,天山南坡,昆仑山北坡,北疆西部5个区域,分析了43a来新疆夏季0℃层平均高度变化趋势和空间分布差异.结果表明:新疆夏季0℃层平均高度43a来总体呈上升趋势,20世纪60年代经历了一个明显下降的阶段,70年代变化相对平缓,80年代初开始上升,90年代初以后上升明显,表现为突升,但均未发生显著气候突变.新疆除了昆仑山北坡0℃层下降外,其余均为明显升高;升幅从南向北、从西向东增加.尽管各地变化不尽相同,但80年代初至今的上升趋势和90年代初期开始的涌升现象较为一致.0℃层高度的上升意味着高空中低层大气气温在升高,说明新疆近年来不仅近地面气温在升高,高空同样气温在变暖.  相似文献

The connections between malaria incidence and climate variability have been studied in recent time using some mathematical and statistical models. Many of the statistical models in literature focused on time series approach based on Box–Jenkins methodology. However, fitting time series model based on the Box–Jenkins methodology may be challenging. Most malaria incidence data are count and are over-dispersed. In this study, negative binomial models were formulated for fitting malaria incidence in Akure—one of the epidemic cities in Nigeria. In particular, negative binomial models were formulated for each of the number of outpatient individuals, number of inpatient individuals and mortality count as a function of some climate variables. It was found that an increase in minimum temperature and relative humidity at lag 1 significantly increased the chance of malaria transmission and thereby leads to an increase in the number of inpatient and outpatient individuals, as well as the total number of malaria cases. The minimum temperature, rainfall amount and relative humidity of the study area have a significant impact on the increase of number of inpatient and outpatient individuals while mortality count depends on the total number of reported malaria cases. The findings from this study is to offer in-depth understanding on climate-malaria incidence linkages in Akure, Nigeria.

位于现代季风区边缘的沙漠-黄土边界带,具有高度不稳定性。末次间冰期以来历经多次北进南退移动和暖湿、冷干变化。依据古风成砂-黄土-古土壤叠覆更替的沉积序列和磁化率等气候代用指标分析,对末次间冰期以来,尤其是特征时期边界带的位置进行了讨论。其中,盛冰期时移动幅度最大,南界可能达30°N左右;末次间冰期和全新世气候鼎盛期最靠西北,南界在古长城以北。全球冰期-间冰期波动导致的气候变化以及东亚冬夏季风强弱变化是控制边界带移动和气候变化的根本因素。  相似文献

根据陕西省2001和2002年两期的GPS测站的观测资料,给出了渭河盆地及周邻地区地壳运动速度场和该区现今地壳水平应变场,结果表明:(1)渭河盆地及邻区的运动速率呈现较明显的北东向条带状变化特征,该区有整体不连续性逆时针旋转运动的特征;(2)渭河盆地中部的彬县—西安—蓝田一线存在一个左旋剪切带(东侧),该左旋剪切带的北部区域与铜川—泾阳—临潼小发震带恰好对应;(3)渭河盆地中部与北部以压应变为主,南部以张应变为主,高值区主要分布在该区主要断裂带的附近,尤其是在宝鸡一太白、渭南—蓝田和合阳—韩城附近分别形成应变高值区,并且应变梯度也较大;该区渭河断裂以北大部分地区以面收缩为主,以南则以面膨胀为主,面应变高值区与压应变高值区以及最大剪应变高值区有着较好的对应关系。  相似文献

Identifying and/or predicting the geography of malaria will help decision makers locate the particular area with the health problem, and to design area-specific interventions. Using GIS (ArcMap 10.1), a spatial analysis of environmental factors that contribute to the spread of malaria vector was conducted to develop a malaria susceptibility model that could be used in effective malaria control planning. The study first determined malaria susceptibility index and combined it with geospatial modelling to predict malaria susceptibility. Clinical malaria cases were then geocoded and tested to determine the accuracy of the prediction. The results show that 72.3, 24.5, 3.1 and 0.1 % of the clinical malaria incidence were found in areas that were predicted to have very high, high, low and very low susceptibility levels. Hence, the model, to a large extent, predicted malaria occurrences. The conclusion is that modelling such as this can help determine spatio-temporal prediction and mapping of malaria incidence to aid in the design and administration of appropriate interventions.  相似文献

东亚原特提斯洋(Ⅰ):南北边界和俯冲极性   总被引:1,自引:1,他引:0  
原特提斯洋是从新元古代Rodinia裂解到早古生代发育于滇缅泰/保山微陆块以北、塔里木-华北陆块以南的一个复杂成因的洋盆。长期以来对原特提斯洋的南、北边界及其早古生代末俯冲极性还存在争论,而这是恢复重建Pangea超大陆聚合前构造背景的关键。本文综合利用野外地质、构造、岩浆、沉积学、地球化学、构造年代学和层析成像等最新成果,以期界定原特提斯域的南、北边界位置,确定原特提斯洋边界俯冲极性。集成分析结果表明,北界为古洛南-栾川缝合线(或宽坪缝合线)及其直至西昆仑的西延部分;南界为龙木措-双湖-昌宁-孟连缝合线。原特提斯洋北部在华北-阿拉善-塔里木陆块泥盆纪向南俯冲并与冈瓦纳大陆北缘拼合过程中,形成了一个巨型弯山构造,现保存在祁连-阿尔金-柴达木地区的中国中央造山带内。原特提斯洋南部分支也可能在泥盆纪闭合,使得包括羌北、若尔盖、扬子、华夏、布列亚-佳木斯等在内的大华南陆块、印支陆块等也向南俯冲与冈瓦纳北缘发生了聚合。  相似文献

We discuss main tectonic features of the Little Qinling gold belt in Central China, located along the northern border of the eastern Qinling E-W tectonic zone, which hosts hydrothermal lode gold deposits. The distribution of deposits and the strike of ore bodies are controlled by the Dayueping-Jinluoban anticlinorium and the related faults, namely large ductile-shear faults on its flanks striking parallel to the uplift axis and some large faults in the north and south. Mineralization is associated with smaller-scale mylonite zones of brittle-ductile deformation. The Dayueping-Jinluoban dome went through several stages of tectonic evolution (compression → folding → doming → strike-slip faulting → extensional faulting → reshearing) accompanied by regional deformation, metamorphism, migmatizition and mineralization.  相似文献

The eastern Tunisian Atlas shows major subsurface faults: the Kairouan–Sousse Fault (FKS), to the north, and the El Hdadja fault (FEH), to the south. The FKS is an inherited structural trend active since Late Cretaceous times. This fault is an eastern splay of the Chérichira–Labeïd fault. It separates a large northern diapiric structure (Ktifa Diapir) from a subsident domain (the Kairouan–El Hdadja rim-syncline), with a pull-apart configuration to the south. The latter area, which appears to be an inherited weakness zone at the range border, has recorded a series of tectonic events that characterizes the Alpine structural development in Tunisia. 徽县-成县(徽成)盆地是西秦岭造山带内一个具有代表性的早白垩世走滑拉分盆地。沉积相分析结果显示,盆地内部发育不同的沉积相组合,且呈现明显的时空变化特征。盆地充填序列分析表明,徽成盆地的沉积演化可划分为4个阶段:田家坝组沉积时期、周家湾组沉积时期、鸡山组沉积早期和鸡山组沉积晚期。田家坝组沉积时期,盆地南部以冲积扇砾岩和辫状河砂、砾岩沉积组合为主;周家湾组沉积时期,盆地西部以冲积扇砾岩和辫状河砂、砾岩沉积组合为主;鸡山组沉积时期,盆地北部和南部以冲积扇砾岩和辫状河砂、砾岩沉积为主。在整个沉积过程中,盆地中心表现为湖泊(前三角洲)相细粒沉积,而河流和三角洲体系则分布于冲积扇和深水湖泊(前三角洲)沉积之间。古流向和物源恢复结果证明,盆地沉积物主体来自于盆地北部、南部的花岗岩和前侏罗纪地层。盆地构造沉降和沉积充填过程主要受控于盆地北缘徽凤断裂,盆地南部抬升与盆地边界断层的活动密切相关,是盆地的主要物源区。  相似文献

The trends of global warming are increasingly significant, especially in the middle and high latitude regions of the northern hemisphere, where the impact of climate change on extreme events is becoming more noticeable. Northeast China is located in a high latitude region and is sensitive to climate change. Extreme minimum temperatures causing cold damage during the warm season is a major type of agro-meteorological disaster in Northeast China, which causes serious reductions in crop yield. In this paper, we analyzed the temporal and spatial trends in the frequency of extreme minimum temperatures during the warm season (from May to September) during 1956–2005 in Northeast China. Abrupt climatic changes were identified using the Mann–Kendall test. The results show that the frequency of extreme minimum temperature days during the warm season in Northeast China decreases significantly from 1956 to 2005 with a background of climate warming. The highest number of extreme minimum temperature days occurred in the 1970s and 1980s, and there was an abrupt climatic change in 1993. The spatial analysis identified that the north and southeast of the region experienced a larger decrease in the number of extreme low temperature days than the west and south of the region. Rice, sorghum, corn, and soybeans are most vulnerable to cold damage. In severe low temperature years, the average crop yield was reduced by 15.2% in Northeast China.  相似文献

The northern part of the auriferous Bendigo Zone is obscured by thick Cenozoic sediments of the Murray Basin, and as such remains poorly explored. Consequently, in addition to the 2006 deep seismic line obtained in Central Victoria, a magnetotelluric (MT) survey was completed to provide a signature for the major structures previously defined in the Bendigo area. Based on these correlations a second MT line, which we present here, was completed some 50 km to the north of the original line in an attempt to trace the deep structural trends extending north to the Victorian/NSW border. Extending some 155 km across the central north of the state, data were collected at 52 sites along an east–west profile. The new electrical conductivity model generated correlates well with the results from the southern transect; it confirms previously identified structural trends to the north and identifies additional unknown deep structures, thus adding to the understanding of the geology of the covered region and to its gold-bearing potential.  相似文献

近年来地震层析成像揭示出可可西里-西昆仑中新世-第四纪钾质火山岩带下方存在一个深达900km的巨型地幔低速体,空间上与新特提斯洋和印度大陆俯冲断离板片沉降形成的冷地幔下降流共存(Replumaz et al.,2010a,b),两者构成统一的地幔对流体系。研究表明,羌塘古近纪(60~34Ma)钠质玄武岩和高钾钙碱性玄武岩均以富含Ti O2、P2O5和大离子亲石元素为特征,主体具有与OIB相近的微量元素组成和弱亏损的Sr、Nd同位素特征,指示岩浆起源于软流圈的上涌熔融,但Nb、Ta的弱亏损表明岩浆源区有岩石圈地幔熔融组分的贡献。羌塘(32~26Ma)碱性钾质玄武岩与可可西里和西昆仑中新世以来喷发的钾质玄武岩的地球化学性质相近,不相容元素比值和Sr、Nd同位素组成指示岩浆起源于古俯冲地幔楔的低程度熔融。这些特征表明藏北软流圈上涌作用始于古近纪,初始上涌中心位于羌塘地体之下。计算表明藏北古近纪火山岩距离当时的印度大陆北缘的最大和最小距离约为1250km和700km,与现今可可西里地幔低速体的南、北边界与印度大陆北缘的距离相近,支持羌塘古近纪地幔上涌作用也是受藏南冷地幔下降流所驱动。青藏高原在南北缩短过程中不仅表现为软流圈自西向东挤出流动,地幔垂向对流也是其重要的运动形式,在地幔上升流形成的藏北热幔区内,地壳的水平缩短增厚与岩石圈地幔的伸展减薄呈脉动式共存。藏南冷地幔下降流和藏北热地幔上升流的持续北移是导致藏北后碰撞火山岩时空迁移的主要控制因素。  相似文献

桂南-粤西的云开地块,位于特提斯构造带和环太平洋构造带的交汇处。其变质基底仅出露于两广边境的云开大山地区,但古生代海相沉积盖层分布广泛,甚至跨越北部湾。地块北缘的古生代深水沉积带,也延展到越南东北沿海地区。云开地块的范围,可能西起红河三角洲,东达珠江三角洲。晚古生代时,它可能为地处南纬低纬度海域的碳酸盐台地。古南海于中晚二叠世开始张开,使云开地块北移,与大明山地体碰撞,形成云开北缘的造山带。中晚三叠世,古南海的进一步扩张和桂西-越北的古特提斯向南消减,又形成晚二叠世造山带以北的印支期岩浆弧和磨拉石。也是东古特提斯闭合过程的重要部分。新生代早期南海张开前,古南海北侧的南沙地块可能和云开地块相接,总面积可能超过50万km2,在东南亚地质演化中起重要作用。  相似文献

Remote sensing images of AD 1991–2011 and field observations help evaluate shoreline changes (erosion and accretion) in Puducherry and Tamil Nadu states of southeastern India. A minor harbor was constructed during AD 1986–1989 in the coast of Puducherry, and it initiated the gradual process of shoreline modification. In the subsequent years, beaches located toward the north of the harbor suffered erosion (?0.12–?4.19 m/year) and there was accretion (0.27–7.25 m/year) in the southern beaches. However, the man-made structures (seawall and groin) have reduced the shoreline changes after AD 2004. In the last two decades, the rate of erosion area-wise gradually decreased (0.24–0.013 km2/year) and accretion remained constant (0.019 km2/year). Our results suggest that accretion happened in the southern side of the breakwaters and erosion occurred in the northern part. Presence of groins structures in the region in the northern part has also provoked accretion in the south and erosion in the northern side close to the State of Tamil Nadu.

The groundwater resources in China and especially the northern part represent a vital water resource. Both the shallow and deep aquifers are highly overexploited in a large area of north China. The heavy overexploitation of groundwater resources is causing major environmental damage. To protect groundwater resources, several technical feasibility studies were performed. Artificial recharge using floodwater and wastewater was tried. Surface spreading systems are applicable in many areas of the Yellow River basin and Hai River basin. Deep aquifer injections were undertaken in the urban area. A far better strategy is to reduce the extraction of groundwater, especially to stop or slow down land subsidence and seawater intrusion. To address the problem of falling groundwater levels and aquifer recovery, there is a need reduce groundwater extraction and artificial recharge.  相似文献

依据岩性岩相研究、孔隙度研究、物探测井解译等成果,对鄂尔多斯白垩系盆地含水层系统的结构进行了划分与研究。结果表明:盆地北部沙漠高原区为单一结构,表现为强富水与中等富水含水层在垂向上叠置与组合,无区域性连续稳定的隔水层,由下到上构成含水统一体;南部黄土高原区为多层结构,表现为含水层与隔水层上下叠置,垂向水文地质分层明显;盆地南、北含水层结构的结构类型明显不同。利用孔隙度、渗透系数、单位涌水量3个参数,对含水层的富水性级别进行了划分,盆地中共划分出7个强富水含水层、7个中等富水含水层和2个弱富水含水层。盆地南、北比较,北部含水层孔隙度大,富水性强,地下水主要富集于盆地北部地区。垂向上比较,盆地北部由上到下,孔隙度由大变小,富水性由强变弱,地下水主要富集于浅层和中层;南部上部罗汉洞组和下部洛河组孔隙度较大,富水性好,中部环河组相对较差,地下水主要富集于罗汉洞组和洛河组。  相似文献

鄂尔多斯西缘逆冲褶皱带构造特征及其南北差异的形成机制   总被引:24,自引:8,他引:24  
研究表明鄂尔多斯西缘构造带经历了多次的逆冲推覆作用 ,广义上该构造带是一个大型的双冲构造系统 ,由下古生界和中生界两套变形组成。同时明确了狭义的鄂尔多斯西缘构造带南北两分的构造特征以及南北两部分的形成机制 ,南北两部分具有各自相对独立的形成机制与过程。北段主要包括桌子山段、贺兰山中、北部、银川地堑地区和横山堡段 ;南段主要包括贺兰山南部、马家滩段以及沙井子段。确认了在鄂尔多斯西缘构造带南北两部分之间存在着一个较大的侧断坡。它的存在导致了鄂尔多斯西缘构造带南北两部分之间的分化 ;该构造带在平面上的凹凸展布也反映了这种分化。而且在中生代狭义的鄂尔多斯西缘构造带南北两部分形成时间以及持续时间也不同。北段活动时间短 ,主要形成于晚侏罗世 ;而南段活动时间长 ,在晚三叠世就已经开始活动。  相似文献

滦平盆地是燕山构造带内一个具有代表性的早白垩世伸展盆地。对盆地内沉积岩相和相组合的详细分析结果显示,盆地内部发育不同的沉积相带并显示明显的空间变化。盆地北部和西部边缘以冲积扇砾岩和扇三角洲砂岩、砾岩沉积为主,盆地中心为湖泊细粒沉积。河流相砂岩和砾岩主要分布于盆地的东南部。古流向和物源恢复结果证明,盆地沉积物主体来自于北部和西部老变质岩基底,仅少部分沉积物来自盆地的东南缘。盆地构造沉降和沉积充填过程主要受北缘和西缘张性断层的控制,断层下盘基底岩石的抬升与盆地边界正断层活动相关,从而成为盆地主要的物源区。滦平盆地的演化可划分为三个阶段:即早期火山喷发阶段、中期强烈断陷阶段和晚期填平阶段。滦平盆地代表了早白垩世燕山构造带其它同类盆地的发展过程,它们皆以小型独立的盆地发育为特征。  相似文献
