Salt rocks are commonly used as geologic host rocks for storage of gas and crude oil, and are being considered for the disposal of radioactive waste. Different from the salt rock domes in many countries, the salt rock formations in China are usually laminar with many alternating layers, i.e. rock salt, anhydrite, and/or mudstone. Considering the unique stratigraphic characteristics of these salt rocks, a new Cosserat-like medium constitutive model is proposed in order to facilitate efficient modeling of the mechanical behavior of these formations. In this model, a new representative volume element, containing two different layers, is employed to simulate the compatibility of the meso-displacement between two different layers and also the bending effect. A new method for the deformation and failure analysis of bedded salt rocks is derived therefrom. Having the macro-average stresses, the conventional stresses in the different layers can be obtained in sequence. The conventional stresses can then be utilized in a routine way for the strength and failure analysis. For the initial numerical modeling, the new Cosserat-like medium is reduced to a transversely isotropic one. The simplified constitutive model for layered media is then implemented into FLAC3D codes. A test sample validates that the results by using the numerical model are in good agreement with that by using the built-in model, and the mesh size for the new model is reduced greatly. Finally, an application for the stability of oil storage caverns in deep thinly bedded salt rocks is carried out. The effects on convergence of storage caverns and on the failure of surrounding rock due to the presence of the mudstone interlayers (hard phase) are discussed in detail. 考虑到深部地下岩土工程一般是较复杂的三维问题,在层状盐岩体二维Cosserat介质扩展本构模型基础上,针对不同岩层交替而成的互层盐岩体,建立了宏观平均意义下考虑细观弯曲效应的三维Cosserat介质扩展本构模型,并给出了模型的初步试验验证。该模型既能分析硬(软)夹层对层状盐岩体刚度的强化(弱化)作用,又能考虑由于夹层的存在而导致的层状盐岩构造体宏观意义下力学特性的各向异性,为层状盐岩体及其他层状介质变形和破损分析提供了一种新的思路和方法。该模型可直接推广到非线性问题。结合数值分析软件可进行层状介质体内复杂洞室稳定性分析。  相似文献

在非牛顿流体黏滞阻尼元件的基础上提出了分数阶非线性黏壶元件。基于分数阶导数的定义,得到了该元件的理论表达式,其表达式与Abel黏壶的表达式相一致,进一步比较发现该元件能反映蠕变曲线的非线性加速特征。通过引入该元件建立了新的非线性蠕变本构模型。基于蠕变试验数据,对该模型进行了拟合分析。结果表明,非线性蠕变本构模型与试验数据吻合的较好,并且能很好地反映全过程蠕变曲线的特征,尤其是非线性加速蠕变阶段。  相似文献

唯象学本构模型不能很好解决诸如夹杂含量、温度、应变速率等对盐岩力学性质的影响,更难以解释盐岩变形机制。盐岩为石岩晶体组成,其变形机制主要由多晶结构所控制,故基于固体位错理论研究方法建立的盐岩塑性本构模型更能反映盐岩的变形机制。研究表明,盐岩的塑性-蠕变交互作用机制是(亚)晶粒内部位错的滑移与(亚)晶界及其干涉面内位错的攀移运动之间的耦合。基于此,可确定亚晶(或晶粒)平均尺寸与流动应力之间的关系、(亚)晶内的位错平均密度;建立微观参量(位错、亚晶直径、亚晶界宽度等)演化模式;根据Orowan定律建立盐岩微观-宏观变形联系,从而导出盐岩塑性本构方程。导出的本构方程体现了盐岩塑性-蠕变变形的物理机制,相对于传统的塑性本构方程具有更好的物理意义。  相似文献

深入研究盐岩受力变形、破坏机制及力学模型,对于保证油气地下储库的安全和稳定具有十分重要的意义。以盐岩在多组围压下的三轴试验为基础,由热力学定律出发,将损伤引入到改进的摩尔-库仑(Mohr-Coulomb)准则中,提出了与围压相关的损伤准则和塑性硬化函数,建立了一种能够描述盐岩力学特性的弹塑性损伤模型,该模型能够反映盐岩的塑性与损伤耦合、应变硬化-软化和围压影响。将研究成果与ABAQUS软件相结合,通过二次开发,编制了相应的计算程序。通过模拟盐岩室内三轴压缩试验表明,数值模拟曲线与试验曲线吻合较好,所建立的力学模型可以较好地描述盐岩在不同围压状态下的力学损伤发展、应变硬化-软化以及脆-塑性转换的力学特征。  相似文献

This paper presents a new constitutive model for clays. The model is developed on the basis of generalized hypoplasticity principles, which are combined with traditional critical state soil mechanics. The positions of the isotropic normal compression line and the critical state line correspond to the Modified Cam clay model, the Matsuoka–Nakai failure surface is taken as the limit stress criterion and the non‐linear behaviour of soils with different overconsolidation ratios is governed by the generalized hypoplastic formulation. The model requires five constitutive parameters, which correspond to the parameters of the Modified Cam clay model and are simple to calibrate on the basis of standard laboratory experiments. This makes the model particularly suitable for practical applications. The basic model may be simply enhanced by the intergranular strain concept, which allows reproducing the behaviour at very small strains. The model is evaluated on the basis of high quality laboratory experiments on reconstituted London clay. Contrary to a reference hypoplastic relation, the proposed model may be applied to highly overconsolidated clays. Improvement of predictions in the small strain range at different stress levels is also demonstrated. Copyright © 2005 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

借助盐岩单轴流变-声发射试验,分析了流变3个特征阶段与声发射事件数的对应关系,并基于Weibull分布构建了声发射事件数随加载时间的关系式,进而获得了损伤变量的演化关系式。对盐岩流变-声发射试验及流变-超声波试验数据拟合分析表明,该损伤变量表达式具有很好的适用性。进一步对损伤表达式中的参数进行了敏感性分析,揭示了形状参数、尺度参数对损伤值的影响规律。引入分数阶微积分理论及损伤理论,构建了基于损伤的Abel黏壶本构关系,通过替代西原模型中Newton黏壶的方法,求解获得了盐岩分数阶流变本构模型。由盐岩单轴流变试验曲线拟合分析可知,分数阶流变模型能很好地描述盐岩流变的3个特征阶段,尤其是加速流变阶段,且验证了西原模型为分数阶流变模型的一种特殊形式。  相似文献

在Carter流变模型基础上,引进损伤,提出了“损伤增速界限”的概念,从而,建立了一种盐岩流变损伤模型,并根据实验数据验证了模型的正确性。研究表明,这种盐岩流变损伤模型,不但能很好地反映高应力水平下盐岩的流变损伤特性,而且,也能真实地描述低应力水平下盐岩的初始蠕变损伤和稳态蠕变损伤。 损伤增速界限对损伤演化和蠕变发展影响很大,关系着加速蠕变的发生与否。研究还表明,不同产地、不同实验条件下表述盐岩损伤的参数离散性不大,该模型的应用范围较广。  相似文献

Debris flow is a very common and destructive natural hazard in mountainous regions. Pore water pressure is the major triggering factor in the initiation of debris flow. Excessive pore water pressure is also observed during the runout and deposition of debris flow. Debris materials are normally treated as solid particle–viscous fluid mixture in the constitutive modeling. A suitable constitutive model which can capture the solid-like and fluid-like behavior of solid–fluid mixture should have the capability to describe the developing of pore water pressure (or effective stresses) in the initiation stage and determine the residual effective stresses exactly. In this paper, a constitutive model of debris materials is developed based on a framework where a static portion for the frictional behavior and a dynamic portion for the viscous behavior are combined. The frictional behavior is described by a hypoplastic model with critical state for granular materials. The model performance is demonstrated by simulating undrained simple shear tests of saturated sand, which are particularly relevant for the initiation of debris flows. The partial and full liquefaction of saturated granular material under undrained condition is reproduced by the hypoplastic model. The viscous behavior is described by the tensor form of a modified Bagnold’s theory for solid–fluid suspension, in which the drag force of the interstitial fluid and the particle collisions are considered. The complete model by combining the static and dynamic parts is used to simulate two annular shear tests. The predicted residual strength in the quasi-static stage combined with the stresses in the flowing stage agrees well with the experimental data. The non-quadratic dependence between the stresses and the shear rate in the slow shear stage for the relatively dense specimens is captured.  相似文献

An elastoplastic-viscoplastic constitutive model for soils is presented in this study, based on an original approach concerning viscous modelling. In this approach, the viscous behaviour is defined by internal viscous variables and a viscous yield surface. The model has been developed from a basic elastoplastic model (CJS model) by considering an additional viscous mechanism. The evolution of the viscous yield surface is governed by a particular hardening called ‘viscous hardening’. This model is able to explain the time-dependent behaviour of soils such as creep (primary, secondary and un-drained creep rupture), stress relaxation and strain rate effects in static and cyclic loadings. The existing problems in the classical elasto-viscoplastic models related to the plasticity failure, the rapid loading and the cyclic loading are solved in the proposed model. The physical meanings and the identification strategy of model parameters are clearly given. The validation on certain triaxial test results and the simulation of cyclic triaxial test indicate the capacity of this model in prediction of time-dependent behaviour of clayey soils.  相似文献

A constitutive model based on the disturbed state concept is presented to describe the behavior of interfaces in unsaturated soil. The model is an extension of an existing model developed for a sand–steel interface. As opposed to the original model, the modified model incorporates two independent stress variables, which are the net normal stress and matric suction. The saturated and dry state of the interface can be modeled as a special case using the constitutive model presented in this paper. The modified model is capable of capturing the main features of unsaturated interfaces observed during laboratory testing, including increasing shear strength and strain softening with increasing suction and net normal stress and increasing dilatancy with increasing suction. Laboratory tests were carried out on unsaturated interfaces in a modified direct shear test apparatus. 在描述重塑土的统一硬化模型(UH模型)基础上,以动态地移动正常固结线(MNCL)代替静态的正常固结线(NCL)作为参考线来确定参考应力,将土的结构性衰减体现在MNCL的演化中,从而把UH模型扩展为可考虑土结构性的结构性土UH模型。结构性土UH模型可以合理地并连续光滑地描述结构性土的等向压缩规律、应变硬化、应变软化、剪切体积收缩、剪切体积膨胀、不排水剪切减压软化以及结构性和密度耦合影响等力学特性。相比于UH模型,结构性土UH模型新增3个参数,分别用于描述结构性的程度、衰减速度、以及塑性流动规律。通过3种天然土的试验结果与模型预测对比验证了结构性土UH 模型的合理性。  相似文献

The paper presents a hypoplastic constitutive model for the three-dimensional non-linear stress–strain and dilatant volume change behaviour of sand. The model is developed without recourse to the concept in elastoplasticity theory such as yield surface, plastic potential and decomposition into elastic and plastic parts. Benefited from the non-linear tensorial functions available from the representation theorem the model possesses simple mathematical formulation and contains only four material parameters, which can be easily identified with triaxial compression tests. Comparison of the predictions with the experimental results shows that the model is capable of capturing the salient behaviour of sand under monotonic loading and is applicable to both drained and undrained conditions.  相似文献

对于涉及需要单独考虑岩体结构面的工程岩体结构分析,采用能反映岩体结构面主要力学特性的合理的本构模型是取得合理解答的关键问题之一。针对在经典连续介质力学理论框架内建立岩体结构面本构模型的缺点,基于岩体结构面的实际受力变形特性,采用直接法建立了一种新型岩体结构面本构模型。所建立的模型依据岩体结构面切向应力变形曲线及剪胀曲线的实际特征,将其分为峰前线性段、峰前非线性段以及峰后软化段,并分别给出了用于描述岩体结构面变形和强度等主要力学特性的数学模型,进而推导建立了结构面各变形阶段的增量型本构模型。最后,编写相关计算程序,采用所建立的新型本构模型以及被广泛采用的Plesha模型对经典的岩体结构面直剪试验成果进行拟合分析。结果表明,所建立的新型本构模型能更为合理的描述岩体结构面的主要力学特性,且模拟能力优于Plesha模型  相似文献

The structural deformation in clays results from microscopic phenomena involving the mechanical contact-stress change, the physico-chemical variation of repulsive forces in expansive clays, and thermal dilatancy of macropores. These textural strains are associated to three plastic mechanisms represented by respectively the yield surfacesfTm, fR-A andfT. Under a thermal cycle, the sizes of interlamellar spaces between clay platelets are not modified, hence the temperature cycle is expected to have no effect on repulsive forces and thus the second mechanism is not affected by temperature changes.

This paper suggests a formulation of a model of thermo-elasto-plastic behaviour of non-expansive saturated clays characterised by two plastic mechanisms. The mechanical yield surfacefTm of the contact-stress mechanism is based on a modified cam-clay model; the thermal softening yield surfacefT is a plane separating two thermal domains. In normally consolidated conditions, the resulting response to an increase of temperature is compressive. However, in highly overconsolidated conditions, a small irreversible dilative volumetric strain is observed when the temperature is above a threshold value. In intermediate conditions, the material starts with an expansion and tends to a compression.

The constitutive model combines thermo-mechanical hardening, predominant in normally consolidated states (NCS) and absent in overconsolidated states (OCS) where the thermal softening occurs. The characterisation of the model requires information about rheological parameters obtained from oedometric and triaxial paths. Lastly, some numerical simulations of thermo-mechanical tests onremoulded Boom, ‘Bassin Parisien’ andPontida clays are presented, which show satisfactory agreement between experiments and model predictions.  相似文献

Hypoplastic constitutive models are based on nonlinear tensor functions and are characterized by simple formulation and few parameters. In its early stage, mainly basic hypoplastic constitutive equations were concerned, where the stress tensor is assumed as the only state variable. There followed some enhanced models based on the basic constitutive equation by including void ratio as an additional state variable. In this paper, we first show that the widely used hypoplastic model by Wolffersdorff is seriously flawed because the underlying basic equation does not perform properly. We proceed to develop a basic hypoplastic constitutive equation by introducing a new tensorial term, which preserves the critical state at large strain. The model performance is demonstrated by parameter study for some element tests. This simple and robust basic equation is well suited to build more sophisticated models.  相似文献
