大理地区存在较完整的新元古代泛非期构造-热事件记录,海东挖色花岗闪长岩、花岗岩中获得黑云母K-Ar年龄799Ma、锆石U-Pb年龄667Ma,苍山云弄峰黑云母二长花岗岩中获得锆石U-Pb年龄748Ma,大沟箐角闪辉长岩中获得K-Ar年龄892.3Ma。新元古代挖色花岗岩和云弄峰花岗岩与奥陶系大成村组沉积接触。大成村组粉砂岩中产腕足类、腹足类化石,顶部与中志留统阴阳山组假整合接触,缺失下志留统。向阳村奥陶系—志留系发育较好,产丰富的三叶虫、笔石化石,其中不乏早奥陶世的标准分子。大理地区的地层构造与丽江地区差异较大,不能对比,但可以同青海南部及藏东对比。古中元界苍山群相当于宁多群,新元古界罗平山岩组相当于草曲群,缺失震旦系—寒武系。下奥陶统向阳组、迎凤村组相当于青泥洞组和曾子顶组。因此,大理地区板坱构造划分应归属西藏-三江造山系中的扬子西缘多岛-弧-盆系。西藏-三江造山系与扬子-华南陆块区的界线应移至红河-程海断裂上。  相似文献

断距纵剖面图 (T H图)是指以断层的垂直断距为横轴、以地层或地质年龄为纵轴所绘制的随地层或地质年龄所变化的断距分布图。断距纵剖面图为确定正断层类型、断层形成时间和断层的纵向演化史提供了一个简单迅捷的工具。概念模型表明,断距纵剖面图可以明确无误地区分出简单后沉积型正断层、后沉积拱顶拉张型正断层、同沉积生长型正断层及其复合型正断层。简单后沉积型正断层的断距不随地层年龄的变化而变化, 其断距纵剖面图为一垂直线段。后沉积拱顶拉张型正断层的断距随地层年龄的增大而减小并趋向零值,同沉积生长型正断层的断距随地层年龄的增大而增大,复合型正断层则具其组合型断距纵剖面形态。除简单后沉积型正断层外,断距纵剖面图中的最大断距点代表了该断层的起始形成年代。  相似文献

从塔中顺2井、中12井、顺8井岩心中识别出奥陶系及志留系古地震记录。其中志留系中地震触发沉积物变形记录最强烈,并且出现的变形层也较密集。志留系的软沉积物变形类型有:负载构造、液化砂岩脉、液化角砾岩、碟状构造、液化底劈及混滑层。卡塔克隆起演化受断裂控制,北缘为塔中1号断裂,中部为塔中10号、2号断裂,塔中2号断裂位于隆起的顶部。顺2井位于塔中1号断裂末端、中12井位于塔中10号断裂旁。断裂活动诱发地震,志留系频繁的古地震记录表明塔中地区是一个加里东期断裂与构造隆起地带。塔里木板块内部加里东运动特点是:断裂活动、强地震、隆起与坳陷。  相似文献

东秦岭中部晚奥陶世和早志留世地层分布较广,化石较丰富,尤其是腕足类,分为寺岗组、石燕河组、刘家坡组和张湾组。曾庆銮等(1993)根据腕足类及其群落的更替,把石燕河组和刘家坡组归於早志留世,因而引起较大争论。本文据岩性将寺岗组和石燕河组分别改称为石燕河组下段和上段,并据腕足类化石认为石燕河组和刘家坡组应归於晚奥陶世、张湾组为早志留世;另据上述地层生物群落的特征及群落的更替,认为从石燕河组到刘家坡组,以及刘家坡组至张湾组恰好反映了全球冰期引起的晚奥陶世海退和早志留世冰期结束引起的海侵,故本区奥陶系-志留系界线宜划在刘家坡组和张湾组之间。  相似文献

中国多旋回盆地超深层海相碳酸盐岩储层成因具有多因素联合控制与多阶段复合成因的总体特点。塔里木盆地阿满过渡带北部地区超深层奥陶系鹰山组、一间房组之上存在相对完整的上奥陶统、志留系,几期不整合没有叠加且暴露时间相对较短,储层发育受控于沿断裂发生的深循环岩溶作用,主要沿断裂带分布。阿满过渡带南部地区奥陶系超深层储层发育受控于走滑断裂活动强度、分段性及热液流体改造,分别形成了热液白云岩储层(古城墟隆起鹰山组下段)、热液流体交代形成的硅化岩储层(顺南斜坡区鹰山组上段)、热液流体改造形成的微生物岩储层(顺托顺南地区一间房组)。基于断裂流体主控型碳酸盐岩储层发育地质模式和针对性的地震采集、处理工作,通过叠前各向异性裂缝反演、多参数定量雕刻与叠后储层、裂缝预测技术及与应力场模拟的结合,可预测储层空间分布。  相似文献

The Carys Mills Formation of NE Maine represents the SW extension of the Matapedia Group and the White Head Formation of southern Gaspé, Quebec. This formation has yielded two main collections, one hitherto considered of Middle Ordovician age (zone 13 of Berry's 1960 Marathon, Texas, zonation) with 7 species referred to 4 genera, and one of the Early Silurian age. A revision of the supposed Middle Ordovician collections reveals that the graptolites are basal Silurian and consist of only one species, Glyptograptus? persculptus. Several hundred specimens, preserved both flattened and in three dimensions, the latter in iron pyrites, allow an analysis of both the rhabdosome changes wrought by diagenetic flattening and those caused by severe tectonic deformation. It is shown that those specimens lying parallel to the bedding plane lineation caused by a high-angle main cleavage have a silhouette appearance close to Glyptograptus tamariscus (Nicholson), whilst those at right angles to this direction superficially resemble robust Amplexograptus spp., or Diplograptus s.s., or Diplograptus s.l. spp., thus explaining the stratigraphic assignment of earlier workers. An analogue video reshaper confirms the above conclusions. This determination assigns the whole Carys Mills Formation to the Lower Silurian, but the possibility that part of the formation is of Late Ordovician age cannot be excluded. This much is suggested by the Matapedia Group and the White Head Formation which are of Late Ordovician to Early Silurian age, and the Honorat Group, which has yielded graptolites of late Middle Ordovician age.  相似文献

重庆綦江奥陶系五峰组中—下部的黑色页岩中发育有一系列主要由阶梯状断层和其间的小型褶皱构成的同生变形构造(contemporaneous deformed structures),并可大致分为3个构造层段。沉积后—固结成岩前所形成的同生变形构造层之上为正常沉积的黑色页岩层。另外,在贵州桐梓五峰组距底部2.3m左右的黑色页岩中也发育有与綦江地区相似的、以小型褶皱为主的同生变形构造层,且此同生变形构造层上下为斑脱岩层。同生变形构造的发现,表明渝南—黔北地区奥陶纪晚期(五峰期)的沉积盆地为非平坦的古地貌,且曾发生过多期可能与火山运动相关的构造运动。  相似文献

Fossils from the Cambrian to Devonian rocks of southern Thailand, the Langkawi Islands, mainland Kedah, Perlis, north Perak and central West Peninsular Malaysia are listed and reviewed, and their stratigraphy and correlation reassessed. The hitherto anomalous record of the trilobite Dalmanitina from Malaysia is reviewed and found to be of latest Ordovician (Hirnantian) age, rather than Lower Silurian age as previously reported, and is considered a probable synonym of the widespread Mucronaspis mucronata. A new stratigraphical nomenclature is erected for part of the Langkawi, mainland Kedah and Perlis area successions, in which the term Setul Limestone (which stretched from the Ordovician to the Devonian) is abandoned and replaced by the Middle Ordovician Kaki Bukit Limestone, the late Ordovician and early Silurian Tanjong Dendang Formation, the Silurian Mempelam Limestone, and the early Devonian Timah Tasoh Formation, all underlying the paraconformity with the late Devonian Langgun Red Beds. There was a single depositional basin in the generally shallow-water and cratonic areas of southern Thailand, Langkawi, and mainland Kedah and Perlis, in contrast to the deeper-water basin of north Perak. Only Silurian rocks are dated with certainty within another basin in central West Malaysia, near Kuala Lumpur, which were also cratonic and shallow-water, although to the east in west Pahang there are basal Devonian deeper-water sediments with graptolites. The area is reviewed in its position within the Sibumasu Terrane, which, in the Palaeozoic, also included central and northern Thailand, Burma (Myanmar) and southwest China (part of Yunnan Province).  相似文献

扬子板块东南缘思南地区上奥陶统顶部—下志留统底部地层中普遍发育一层斑脱岩。选取思南县罗湾沱上奥陶统五峰组剖面进行LA-ICP-MS锆石U-Pb测年,获得其年龄加权平均值为449±11Ma,限定了该区域奥陶系—志留系地层沉积年龄,为扬子板块东南缘思南地区奥陶系—志留系界线附近的火山喷发事件、地层年代学研究提供了较可靠的证据。449±11Ma的年龄与扬子板块北西大巴山一带的年龄数据高度吻合,但略晚于华北克拉通西南缘奥陶系顶部斑脱岩的年龄(449.0~465.8Ma)。其所代表的火山活动可能与华夏板块向扬子板块俯冲有关。晚奥陶世—早志留世晚期,多期次的火山喷发事件影响了当时的海洋化学条件、生态圈环境,造成中—晚奥陶世以来的生物灭绝事件及冰川启动。  相似文献

ABSTRACT

The intraplate Kwangsian Orogeny is a key orogenic event in South China in the mid-Paleozoic. We re-examined the evidence for the Yichang Uplift, an inferred geographic feature during the Kwangsian Orogeny, to evaluate its timing and nature. Field, sedimentological, mineralogical and geochronological data were collected from the Late Ordovician-Early Silurian Xiaohe section, Hunan-Hubei area. Results suggest that the Xiaohe section is composed of the Late Ordovician Wufeng Formation black shale in the lower part and the Early Silurian Longmaxi Formation black shale in the upper part. We found that the clay layers interbedded in the Wufeng Formation are altered rhyolitic tuffs instead of parts of a subaerial wreathing crust. LA-ICP-MS U-Pb dating of zircons in the top tuff layer of the Wufeng Formation yielded an age of 447.0 + 1.4/- 2.2 Ma, consistent with biostratigraphic data, providing a radiometric constraint for the sedimentary break existed between the Wufeng and Longmaxi formations and confirming the absence of the Hirnantian (latest Ordovician) Guanyinqiao Formation in the study area. Our data support that the Yichang Uplift was a submarine highland possibly initiated by the reactivation of the inherited Jianshi-Enshi Fault in the Hunan-Hubei area during the Kwangsian Orogeny.  相似文献

Thick turbidites accumulated along the northern margin of the Iapetus Ocean in Britain from mid-Ordovician to late Silurian times. Recent plate tectonic reconstructions hold that, during subduction, packets of these sediments, together with the underlying pelagic facies and thin portions of the uppermost ocean crust, were stripped from the descending plate and accreted to the inner trench wall on the Laurentian (North American) continental margin. The resulting accretionary prism is represented today by the Ordovician and Silurian rocks of the Southern Uplands of Scotland and the Longford-Down massif of Ireland. In these areas major reverse faults separate tracts of steeply dipping greywackes and mudstones with minor amounts of cherts and basalts. These tracts are up to several kilometres wide; their constituent beds face predominantly to the northwest, away from the site of the ancient ocean, while becoming progressively younger in each major fault slice towards the Iapetus suture in the southeast. From the stratigraphic sequences in these fault slices the sedimentary history of a portion of the Iapetus Ocean, and the British sector of its northern margin, can be reconstructed. In the Southern Uplands the earliest turbidites (mid- and late-Ordovician) are preserved in the northernmost fault slices. Regional facies trends, and vertical facies analysis, suggest that they accumulated in a trench dominated by a series of relatively small lower trench slope-derived fans. Pelagic sediments of the same age are found in the fault slices to the south, suggesting that the Ordovician turbidites were confined to the trench. During the lower and middle Llandovery, volcaniclastic trench turbidites were separated from quartz-rich ocean-floor turbidites (represented in the southern fault slices) by an elongate rise, on which pelagic deposits accumulated. This is interpreted as the outer trench high. In late Llandovery times the rise was overwhelmed, and thick laterally derived quartzose turbidites blanketed both the trench and the ocean floor. Sedimentation was strongly influenced by the evolution of the accretionary prism. By Llandovery times a trench slope break had emerged, supplying sediment both south to the trench and north to an upper slope basin in the Midland Valley of Scotland. In this basin early Silurian turbidites were followed by shallow-water and terrestrial sediments. Most of the sediment was derived from the emergent trench slope break: the volcanic arc and the Grampian orogenic belt to the north provided little or no detritus. Throughout the Ordovician and Silurian, sediment in the trench and on the ocean floor was derived from the volcanic arc, from the lower trench slope/trench slope break, from a degrading plutonic/metamorphic terrain (the Grampian Orogen), and locally by a minor amount of submarine sliding from carbonate-capped volcanic seamounts. Progressive elevation of the trench slope break in Silurian (and perhaps late Ordovician) times indicates that sediment from the arc-orogen hinterland must have bypassed the upper slope in the unexposed section of the margin to the northeast of the Southern Uplands, and travelled into the area axially along the trench floor.  相似文献

新汶矿业集团良庄煤矿51101W工作面因底板突水导致工作面被淹。通过水质分析,判定突水水源是奥陶系灰岩岩溶水。根据工作面附近的地质构造推断,突水通道为延伸到奥陶系与石炭系不整合面的铲状滑动断层(该断层最大落差只有7 m左右)。结合工程实践指出,在该矿,根据断层落差来判断断层导水性的观点并不正确,并提出了“用断层落差(H)与其倾角(α)之比值(S)来说明断层对突水影响程度”的观点。   相似文献

以东海陆架盆地某凹陷西部斜坡带P井区7口井的岩心详细观察与描述资料为基础,综合利用测井、分析化验数据及地震等资料,研究平湖组沉积微相及沉积模式.结果表明:P井区平湖组发育一套海陆过渡沉积体系,主要为潮汐影响的三角洲-潮坪相沉积,沉积亚相主要包括三角洲前缘、前三角洲和潮间带.进一步识别出了水下分流河道、河口沙坝、分流间湾、潮汐水道等7种沉积微相.同生断层对沉积微相平面分布影响明显.断距较小时,随着物源与断层走向夹角的增大,水下分流河道会出现改道等现象;断距较大时,水下分流河道沉积物仅在同生断层上盘低部位沉积,向盆地中心推进有限.在沉积体系分析的基础上,建立了研究区潮汐影响三角洲前缘的沉积模式.  相似文献

Exposed Silurian deposits in Arabia are represented by the Qalibah Group, the Qusaiba and Sharawra formations. The Qusaiba Formation is composed of dark-gray claystones and siltstones. It is disconformably underlain by the Late Ordovician–Early Silurian? Uqlah Formation or unconformably underlain by the Late Ordovician Zarqa or Sarah formations. It is disconformably overlain by the Sharawra Formation. The Early Rhuddanian basal “hot shale” of the Qusaiba Formation represents the early stage of the early Silurian marine transgression over the Gondwana broad shelf. It is a regional marker used to outline the structural configuration of the area prior to the Silurian time. The Sharawra Formation is composed of siltstone and sandstone. It is unconformably overlain by the Late Silurian?–Early Devonian Tawil Formation. Silurian deposits show a pronounced thinning from 992 m in the Tabuk area in the west and are completely missing in the northern part of the Qusayba depression in the east. The thinning of the Qusaiba shale and Sharawra sandstone is interpreted as due to depositional and erosional features, respectively. Thinning and distribution of the Early Rhuddanian shale “hot shale” is depositional which is affected by preexisting Late Ordovician paleo-highs in central Arabia. Thinning of the Sharawra sandstones is erosional which is attributed to Late Silurian tectonic movements synchronous with the Acadian uplift phase of the Caledonian tectonic movements. The main structural elements in central Arabia are represented by the north–south trending and northerly plunging Hail arch and to a much lesser extent the northwest–southeast trending and southerly plunging Qusayba high.  相似文献

The tectonically isolated Farnacht Formation consists of calc-alkaline dacitic-andesitic lavas of volcanic arc affinity. It is situated immediately to the south of the Clew Bay Fault Zone (western continuation of the Highland Boundary Fault Zone of Scotland) in the northeast corner of the Lower Palaeozoic South Mayo Trough in northwest Ireland. It has been metamorphosed to biotite grade greenschist facies following the development of a pervasive, c-s composite muscovite, quartz, and feldspar schistosity. The Farnacht Formation may comprise a terrane that is directly unrelated to nearby Ordovician and Silurian rocks; its present position was fixed largely by Wenlock times. The age of the Farnacht Formation and the deformational event(s) that produced the schistosity are not known. 40Ar/39 Ar step heating from four specimens have dated the crystallization of biotite at from 422 ± 2 to 405 ± 14 Ma with a mean age of 413 Ma. These ages date either the post-D2, pre-D3 metamorphic peak, or a hornfelsing of the same structural age related to an unseen thermal source, and provide a minimum age for the end Silurian - early Devonian Caledonian tectonothermal activity in the northeast part of the South Mayo Trough.  相似文献

为响应国际地层委员会奥陶系分会的要求,实现扬子区与江南区奥陶纪晚期—志留纪早期生物地层精时对比,选取位于江南斜坡带的湖南益阳南坝剖面作为研究对象,对志留系底部Parakidograptus acuminatus带笔石进行了系统的研究。剖面内五峰组岩性为黑色页岩,与上覆周家溪群下组整合接触,地层连续无沉积间断。通过连续不间断采集笔石标本,在研究剖面共识别出笔石6属8种,包括:Parakidograptus acuminatus,Normalograptus elegantulus,Nor. mirnyensis,Metabolograptus persculptus,Neodiplograptus parajanus,Neo. guantangyuanensis,Petalithus hamus,Streptograptus cyclodontus。依据获取的笔石标本,初步识别出Metabolograptus persculptus带和Parakidograptus acuminatus带,确定研究剖面时代为晚奥陶世赫南特期—早志留世鲁丹期。  相似文献

在北羌塘三岔口一带采获丰富的腕足类:汉伯矮正形贝及比较种Nanorthiscf.hamburgensis(Walcott)。建立了早奥陶世岩石地层单位——三岔口组,是羌塘地区目前有化石控制的最低层位。中、晚泥盆世拉竹龙组与下伏志留系、奥陶系不整合接触关系的进一步确定,证明了羌北-昌都板块与扬子板块的亲缘性,为羌北-昌都板块属性的确定提供了重要证据。  相似文献

以碳同位素值的波动变化与沉积环境、海平面升降及地层界面突变等地质事件相对应为理论依据,开展碳同位素地层研究,建立了各组值域划分标准,解决碳酸盐岩地层缺乏标准生物化石情况下,地层归属难确定的问题。指出奥陶系自下而上碳同位素曲线呈现稳定-上升-正漂移的过程。其中,下统蓬莱坝组—鹰山组δ~(13)C值范围为(-4.2~-0.2)×10~(-3),始终为负值;中统一间房组δ~(13)C值范围为(-0.4~0.6)×10~(-3),以分布在零值附近为特征;上统恰尔巴克组—良里塔格组δ~(13)C值范围(0.7~3.1)×10~(-3),均为正值。在此基础上,开展了巴楚典型露头剖面与麦盖提斜坡井下奥陶系碳同位素地层与岩石地层对比研究,提出麦盖提斜坡中部及东部断洼区发育上奥陶统,除东部断裂带外,普遍残存下奥陶统顶部泥晶灰岩段。  相似文献

Structural, lithological and biostratigraphic evidence does not support the existence of the postulated Bronnant Fault previously considered to bound and have had depositional control over the Aberystwyth Grits to the east. The Adail Mudstones Formation is a synonym of the Borth Mudstones Formation; the latter name has priority. Both the type Borth Mudstones Formation and the ‘Adail Mudstones Formation’ in part underlie and in part are lateral equivalents of the lower part of the Aberystwyth Grits Formation. Deposition of the Aberystwyth Grits Formation was confined on its eastern side by a slope enhanced by the prior, and partially contemporaneous, deposition of the Devil's Bridge Formation (largely a slope apron). © 1997 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献
