关于建立长江流域生态安全体系的初步探讨

阐述了生态安全与生态安全体系的基本概念，提出了生态安全体系由生态安全组织管理系统，规划、决策与建设管理系统，政策与法律配套系统，信息管理系统，监测、预警、监督与评估系统和资金保证系统等组成；最后分析了长江流域生态环境问题现状，认为建立长江流域生态安体系非常紧迫，并勾画了这一体系的基本框架。     

可持续发展与自然灾害类型的分析研究

在人口与经济快速增长的条件下，人与自然关系的不协调发展导致了自然灾害频繁发生。为了协调环境与资源的关系，拓展并良化人类生存空间，作者根据多年来收集的自然灾害资料与研究成果，对自然灾害的分类与危害进行了系统分析，在采用边缘科学相互交叉的基础上，从社会经济可持续发展的战略角度出发，总结了国内外防灾工作的经验，提出了防御自然灾害的减免措施。     

太湖水环境污染的社会经济因子分析

文章通过一系列的调研数据揭示了太湖目前的水环境问题，并使用了偏相关分析方法探讨了影响水环境的社会经济因子，如COD的排放量，工业产值，耦地面积和人口等，结果表明，COD的排放主要受农业与人口的影响，TP受人口与工业的影响，TN受人口与耕地的影响。最后，提出了实行环境规划和社会经济规划，健全一环保机构，推广污水治理技术等环境治理措施。     

国内外GIS课程内容的对比与启示

介绍了作为全球性GIS教材范本的美国国家地理信息与分析中心（NCGIA）研究生用“地理信息科学核心教程”的内容体系和结构，介绍了被誉为GIS经典的《地理信息系统原理，技术，管理与应用》一书的内容体系，作为对比，介绍了我国最新出版的被誉为“迎接新进展空间时代与信息社会的好教材”的《地理信息系统-原理，方法与应用》一书的主要内容；对比国内外教材，分析探讨了我国GIS教育、教材与人才培养中的成功与不足；针对当前GIS学科发展迅速、人才培养中教材体系庞杂的特点，提出了适应研究生教育的教材体系框架，旨在为我国跨世纪GIS教育与人才培养提供一些借鉴。     

试析湖北丹江口库区产业结构调整

随着我国南水北调中线工程的实施，丹江口库区的经济，社会发展进入了一个新的历史时期，通过对该库区20世纪90年代以来推行大农业及产业化发展实践的研究，寻找其产业构成与调整的规律性特征，从而为构建适宜的库区产业发展机制提供一定的理论依据。在研究过程中，主要运用了定性与定量分析相结合，纵向比较与横向比较相结合，实地调查与文献查考相结合的方法，通过研究，归纳出了库区产业结构调整的共时性，基础性，协调性和脆弱性四大特征，进而概括出了构建库区产业结构调整的三点启示。     

华南地区凉果加工业与凉果资源的匹配关系分析——以广东省新兴县为例

文章以广东省新兴县为例，从凉果资源分布与加工能力的匹配关系角度对华南地区凉果资源的分布，凉果加工业的分布与布局，凉果市场分布与竞争力，凉果加工业与资源的匹配关系等进行了分析，并针对华南地区凉果加工业面临的主要问题提供了一些建议。     

魔芋资源研究与开发利用综述

本文以魔芋资源的分布，资源量，特性及其经济价值进行了综述，对国内外魔芋资源与研究与开发利用的历史，发展及其现状进行了调查研究，并探讨了魔芋资源开发利用趋势和前景。．     

东北地区地域组织创新研究

目前，尚无对地域组织及其创新内涵的统一认识。作者认为，地域组织创新是一个地域制度创新的必然产物，也是我国地方经济发展的客观要求。本文在对地域组织创新的基本认识基础上，总结与评述了建国后东北地区地域组织的发展历程与创新形式，分析了东北地区在地域组织创新中存在的关键性问题与障碍因素，最后对东北地区地域组织创新的宏观背景与基本依据进行了探讨，提出了东北地区未来地域组织的创新方向与形式。     

大都市空间集散的景观、机制与规律——南京大都市的实证研究

集聚与扩散是研究大都市空间演化的基本视角，该文以南京为实证，着重从人口与就业的密度分布以及办公与商务的空间分布等方面，运用大量第一手的调查资料，探讨了南京大都市空间演化过程中要素集散的现象，机制与有关问题，并提炼了一些规律性的结论。

Deserts and Aeolian Desertification in China: Book review and some thoughts

Desertification is a global phenomenon that affects about two billion people. It occurs in arid zones where the annual precipitation is below 400 mm, partic- ularly in the marginal areas of the world＇s largest deserts. It is a result of water and wind erosion, over- grazing, global warm-ing, improper soil cultivation, and increased pressure ot population growth, and it causes degradation of soil and natural and agricultural vegetation. The direct result is less food for people and livestock, which influences pop- ulation and animal husbandry fluctuations. Despite ef- forts to combat and reduce desertification, the affected areas are annually increasing.
