A novel approach is proposed to deal with the problem of wave scattering and diffraction of subsurface cavities embedded in stratified half-space. The subsurface cavity with complex surroundings is treated as a substructure. The continuity condition at the interface between the substructure and the far field of stratified half-space is maintained by applying a free-field approach. As the boundary of the free-field ground is regular, the construction of the dynamic matrices and the evaluation of the wave input on the interface become considerably easier. Based on the previous work with some improvement, a novel approach for evaluation of Green's functions in stratified half-space is presented. The wave equation is decoupled into the one for SV-P wave components and the other one for SH wave component. The precise integration technique ensures high accuracy of the solution of wave equations. The layer merging technique and the dual form equation make it possible to obtain Green's function in closed-form solution of matrix equations. Numerical examples validate accuracy and efficiency of the proposed approach.  相似文献

Ground motion amplification due to shallow cavities in nonlinear soils   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
Subsurface cavities or stiff inclusions represent mechanical discontinuities for seismic waves propagating in soils. They modify the propagation pattern of seismic waves and alter soil response in correspondence to the ground level or building foundations. In the literature, different analytical and numerical solutions have been proposed to account for the effect of underground cavities or inclusions on the motion generated by P, S or R waves. In these former studies, the subsoil was assimilated to a homogeneous, isotropic and linear elastic halfspace containing one or more cavities. In the present study, the effect of subsurface cavities on ground motion amplification has been analysed accounting for soil stiffness degradation and associated damping increase with increasing levels of shear strains, a fundamental aspect of soil behaviour under earthquakes. The analysed model was inspired to a real case represented by the village of Castelnuovo (Italy), which during the 2009 Abruzzo earthquake suffered huge damage. The main shock (6 April 2009) caused the collapse of 50 % of the whole built environment. The historical centre of Castelnuovo rises on a hill. In its subsoil, there are many cavities with roofs 2–3 m below the ground level. The longitudinal NW–SE section of the hill has been investigated by 2D nonlinear site response analyses. A preliminary site response analysis was performed without modelling cavities, to identify ground motion amplification due to mere stratigraphic and topographic factors. The numerical model was later refined inserting: (1) a single cavity below the hilltop, (2) multiple cavities placed below the ground surface of the hill and (3) multiple cavities filled with concrete (inclusions). The performed study highlights the important role exerted by underground cavities on the ground motion computed at the hill surface. This effect should be properly considered for both microzonation studies and the correct determination of the seismic actions on specific buildings.  相似文献

采用复变函数和多极坐标方法,构造了一个能够自动满足水平表面上应力自由边界条件的散射波函数,研究了地下任意形柱状孔洞对任意角度入射的平面SH波的散射及其对地面震动的影响,给出了浅埋孔洞附近地面运动的数值结果。定量分析了入射波长、入射角度、孔洞的形状和埋深等因素对地面运动的影响。研究表明,浅埋孔洞与水平表面存在强烈的相互作用对局部地面运动将起到放大作用,在地面建筑物抗震设计时应考虑地下隧洞的存在对地震动的影响。  相似文献

Determination of the geometry and the dimensions of a cave is an important factor considered for planning geotechnical, archeological, speleological studies, and quarrying activities. In recent years, researchers have raised an increasing number of questions related to the shape and size of cavities using 2D geoelectrical resistivity imaging techniques. The inverse model is valuable in detecting the location and extent of subterranean cavities. In this study, a 2D geoelectrical resistivity imaging technique is employed to determine the geometry of a known subterranean cavity. The results provided valuable information and demonstrated the effectiveness of the technique for exploring the size of cavities.  相似文献

根据饱和土Biot理论,在频域内提出了一种适用于弹性波波动问题的有限元-无限元解法,其中有限单元用于近场介质的模拟,而形函数基于一维解析解答的无限单元则被用于人工边界,它可反映波传递到无限远处的特性;应用该法计算算例,以证明其有效性与正确性。在此基础上,对饱和地基中空沟主动隔振效果进行了详细的数值分析,结果表明,空沟深度是影响隔振效果的主要因素,一般沟深越大,隔振效果越好;当沟深一定时,空沟到振源的距离不宜超过1.5倍饱和土剪切波长;空沟的宽度对隔振效果的影响相对较小。  相似文献

This study uses the seismic refraction and noise measurements to investigate the velocity structure of the subsurface and emphasize the advantage of ambient vibration over the conventional seismic refraction technique. Field measurements were carried out at nine sites in and around Zagazig city. Shallow seismic refraction data were interpreted using the delay time method to obtain the two-dimension ground model at each site. Ambient vibration arrays are used to infer the one-dimensional compressional and shear wave velocity profiles through two main steps. The first step is to derive the dispersion curve from the recorded signals using the frequency-wavenumber method. The second is to invert the dispersion curve to obtain the site velocity profiles. The results of the compressional wave velocities obtained from seismic refraction technique showed that the subsurface consists of a number of layers ranging from two to four layers and give a good agreement with the results of the seismic wave velocities obtained from the ambient vibration arrays. The ambient vibration arrays gave a deeper depth of penetration than the other method, providing more information on the subsurface structure without any disturbance to the environment. This work provides reliable estimates of the seismic velocity structures of both shallow and deep sedimentary layers within the area of interest.  相似文献

青岛港是我国北方一个很重要的港口码头,但由于年久失修,码头的使用出现安全隐患。经多种修补方案比较,最终采用垂直注浆加固方案。为了检测码头高压注浆加固处理效果,采用弹性波CT方法并结合岩芯波速测试及强度试验对其进行检测。本文简要叙述了弹性波CT法的原理与测试方法,探讨了该法在灌浆效果检测中的应用。试验证实,弹性波CT技术在探测水下高压注浆效果检测方面有其独特的效果。  相似文献

利用复变函数法和多极坐标法,研究了饱和土中弹性波在双椭圆孔洞周围的散射及动应力集中的问题。首先通过引入位移势函数,将二维稳态条件下Biot波动方程解耦成势函数所满足的3个Helmholtz方程, 根据分离变量方法即可得Helmholtz方程在柱坐标下势函数的通解。利用土骨架和孔隙水的边界条件,确定波函数展开式中的未知系数,进而得到位移、应力和孔压的表达式。给出了弹性波对2个椭圆形孔洞的动应力集中系数的数值结果,并讨论了波数和孔距变化对动应力集中系数和孔压集中系数的影响。  相似文献

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of using seismic attributes to detect near-surface cavities. The methods used in this study include interpreting dispersion curves and amplitude mapping of the multichannel analysis of surface wave (MASW) technique and interpreting the delay in first arrivals of compressional waves. To test these methods, a seismic survey was conducted above a known near-surface cavity in Al-Suman Area, Saudi Arabia. The cause of the cavity is carbonization in the area; there are many cavities similar to this one. The seismic data were collected using a seismograph system with 48 vertical geophones. Both techniques show a tangible result for detecting the cavity. The 2D section of shear wave velocity, which was obtained by inverting the dispersion curves from the MASW technique, leads us to determine the shape of the cavity, as described by a low-velocity zone. Frequency against relative offset is plotted and shows a significant frequency drop in the presence of the cavity, which also provides an indication to the presence of cavity underneath. This interpretation is matched by the interpretation of observed delays in first arrivals of compressional waves. The integration of both P wave seismic refraction and MASW gives confidence in the result and matches observations of the existing cavity closely.  相似文献

在Biot波动理论的基础上,用单排刚性排桩作为屏障,对全空间饱和土中入射平面SV波进行了隔离分析。采用波函数展开法,将散射波的势函数展开成Fourier-Bessel级数的形式,利用一组可以求解多散射问题的圆柱坐标系统和桩土界面处位移连续的条件,以及刚性桩的动力平衡条件,得到问题的理论解。对影响排桩隔离效果的桩间距和饱和土的渗透系数等参数进行了分析,结果表明,桩间距对饱和土中排桩的隔离效果有较明显影响;与弹性土体中排桩的隔离效果相比,饱和土中排桩的隔离效果有所不同,随着饱和土渗透系数的减小,排桩的隔离效果越好。  相似文献

Numerical simulation of liquefaction-induced lateral spreading in gently sloped sandy layers requires fully coupled dynamic hydro-mechanical analysis of saturated sandy soil subjected to seismic loading. In this study, a fully coupled finite element model utilizing a critical-state two-surface-plasticity constitutive model has been applied to numerically investigate the effects of surface/subsurface geometry on lateral spreading. Using a variable permeability function with respect to excess pore pressure ratio is another distinctive feature of the current study. The developed code has been verified against the results of the well-known VELACS project. Lateral spreading phenomenon has been the focus of an extensive parametric study using the developed code. Numerical modeling of three different geometrical forms of surface and subsurface of liquefiable layer indicates that the amount and direction of lateral spreading are noticeably affected by the geometrical conditions. Also, parametric studies by the developed numerical model show that the effects of layer height, maximum ground acceleration, and loading frequency on the level of lateral spreading are significantly different for the examined geometrical condition.  相似文献

高密度三维地震采用数字检波器单点接收,数字检波器灵敏度高,对信号采取宽频接收,使得更多弱背景噪声和有效信号一起被记录下来。因此,全数字高密度三维地震资料单炮信噪比偏低,需要在叠前采用针对性去噪技术以提高处理效果。以淮北矿区全数字高密度三维地震数据为例,讨论了高密度空间采样的充分性以及高密度三维地震数据中面波、异常振幅与多次波等主要干扰波的特点,结合高密度三维地震数据宽方位、宽频带、高密度等特点,针对性地压制面波、异常振幅与多次波。在纵测线和非纵测线方向上对面波进行十字排列分析,根据面波空间分布规律设计锥形滤波器进行滤除;通过计算多个地震道的包络并设定阈值自动识别后进行单道压制以处理异常振幅。应用抛物Radon变换把CMP道集变换到τ-ρ域剔除多次波。原始数据经过处理后,有效信号得以保留,信噪比得到较大提升,取得了良好的效果,对今后的全数字高密度三维地震数据处理工作有借鉴意义。   相似文献

无限元是一种有效的人工边界,可用于处理弹性波的传播问题。在传统动力无限元的基础上,提出了一种采用分向插值技术的新型动力无限元,详细地推导了这种无限元的形函数,建立了完全解析形式的刚度矩阵,以提高计算效率,采用该无限元边界,计算了弹性介质中的线源Lamb问题,通过对比解析解答的地基表面位移,验证了该无限元的有效性。算例分析表明,采用此类无限元时,有限元单元边长建议取不超过1/8剪切波波长,网格边界到激励源点的距离宜取5倍剪切波波长。无限单元中的幅值衰减系数对计算结果影响甚微,建议取较小值。  相似文献

目前对盾构隧道施工引起的地表下土体变位进行预测分析的研究还相对较少,尤其是缺乏简单实用的工程估算方法。在深埋隧道周围土体弹性位移计算方法及盾构间隙参数研究成果的基础上,通过相应的分析和假设提出了一种预测盾构隧道施工引起地表下土体水平变位的简便估算方法。另外,在已有研究成果基础上,提出了一种新的盾构隧道沉降槽的描述方法,并结合Mair等提出的计算公式对盾构隧道施工引起的地表下土体沉降变位进行预测。通过与有限元计算结果及一些典型盾构隧道监测数据的对比分析,证明提出的估算方法能够较好地预测实际工程中盾构隧道施工引起的地表下土体的变位情况。  相似文献

Geospatial technology is increasing in demand for many applications in geosciences. Spatial variability of the bed/hard rock is vital for many applications in geotechnical and earthquake engineering problems such as design of deep foundations, site amplification, ground response studies, liquefaction, microzonation etc. In this paper, reduced level of rock at Bangalore, India is arrived from the 652 boreholes data in the area covering 220 km2. In the context of prediction of reduced level of rock in the subsurface of Bangalore and to study the spatial variability of the rock depth, Geostatistical model based on Ordinary Kriging technique, Artificial Neural Network (ANN) and Support Vector Machine (SVM) models have been developed. In Ordinary Kriging, the knowledge of the semi-variogram of the reduced level of rock from 652 points in Bangalore is used to predict the reduced level of rock at any point in the subsurface of the Bangalore, where field measurements are not available. A new type of cross-validation analysis developed proves the robustness of the Ordinary Kriging model. ANN model based on multi layer perceptrons (MLPs) that are trained with Levenberg–Marquardt backpropagation algorithm has been adopted to train the model with 90% of the data available. The SVM is a novel type of learning machine based on statistical learning theory, uses regression technique by introducing loss function has been used to predict the reduced level of rock from a large set of data. In this study, a comparative study of three numerical models to predict reduced level of rock has been presented and discussed.  相似文献

The Las Colinas landslide, which was triggered by the 13 January 2001, Mw?=?7.7 El Salvador earthquake, was highly destructive. The local site is composed of pyroclastic flows, brown cinders, soft pyroclastic fall deposits and a thin palaeosol and is characterised by steep slopes. The extremely high ground motions recorded near the landslide location are assumed to be both produced by site effects and responsible for the landslide. To characterise the ground motion amplifications due to site effects in terms of the variation in geometrical and geological settings, parametric studies were conducted with a linear elastic slope model, which was vertically subjected to the scattering SV wave of the Gabor wavelet. The results show that a maximum amplification is obtained when the model slope angle is approximately 30° (similar to the actual slope angle), and the maximum amplification is located approximately 20 m behind the crest, where the actual movement was initiated. Additionally, a slope with a height of approximately 160 m enhances ground motion amplification. The subsurface geology is found to induce a greater effect on amplification than that of the slope topography. In particular, a soft pyroclastic fall deposit is observed to contribute most of the ground motion amplification. According to the numerical results, it can be concluded that the local site conditions induced extremely high ground motions that then contributed to the slope movement. Although the thin, buried layer of palaeosol did not cause any significant amplification, its weak cohesion enhanced movement.  相似文献

秦皇岛-沈阳铁路是国内一条快速客运专线, 2002年由铁道部组织了第2次综合试验,对垂直线路不同距离、不同行车速度下的地面振动进行了现场测试。首先分析了实测地面竖向振动加速度特征,重点讨论列车编组及行车速度对地面振动的影响。将轨道作为弹性地基上的梁,考虑轨枕的离散作用,建立了运行车辆-轨道-地面振动模型。基于薄层法原理,推导了柱坐标系下的二次形函数薄层法,求得分层土体的稳态响应,首次对秦皇岛-沈阳快速客运专线产生的地面振动进行了分析。结果表明:移动轴重作用率对加速度频谱起控制作用;因列车速度远小于地基的瑞利波速,故未出现地面振动放大现象;振动加速度与轮轴荷载呈线性增加趋势。  相似文献

动力响应问题的求解对于地基在外荷载作用下引起的弹性波动问题研究有重要的意义。本文提出了一种求解横观各向同性层状地基在施加时间简谐荷载作用下任意点的应力响应的算法。此算法利用傅里叶变换将广义平面应变问题频率-空间域的动力方程转化到频率-波数域内,结合对偶变量的引入,利用高精度的精细积分算法对状态方程进行求解,在得到频率-波数域内的位移响应的基础上,利用傅里叶逆变换得到任意点的动应力响应。简谐荷载不仅可以施加在地基表面,而且可以施加在地基内部。对比算例验证了本文算法的准确性,同时对地基各向异性特性、激励频率和阻尼比对动应力响应的影响进行了参数分析,为工程实际提供可靠的数值依据。  相似文献

针对我国西部黄土地区特殊的地形地貌、近地表条件和地下浅层目标体,开展了路基下伏地质缺陷地震探测技术的应用研究。为检验不同地震方法的探测能力,设计了一个综合地质地球物理模型,包含凹陷、断层、地裂缝、地下低速体、软弱夹层及滑坡等典型地质缺陷,利用有限差分波场模拟,计算出多分量反射地震记录和面波地震记录,分别进行了反射波成像和高阶面波反演横波速度成像。数值模拟结果表明,反射波成像和高阶面波反演横波速度成像技术对真实模型中的凹陷、断层、浅层低速体、软弱夹层及滑坡等主要地质缺陷均能清晰成像,验证了地震方法探测路基下伏地质缺陷的可行性。数值计算结果表明,不同的地球物理探测方法对地质缺陷的探测效果和适用范围不同。  相似文献

Two-dimensional (2-D) electrical resistivity and three-dimensional (3-D) gravity explorations were undertaken to estimate the 3-D distribution of karst cavities at the area of Yongweol-ri in Korea where ground subsidence has occurred. Although the gravity method is a low-cost way of analyzing a 3-D continuous structure, its vertical resolving power is poor. In contrast, the electrical resistivity method can provide a 2-D and/or 3-D subsurface structure with a much higher lateral and vertical resolution than the gravity method. Accordingly, geostatistical methods and density information were used to enhance the 2-D resistivity structure revealed by the electrical resistivity method into a 3-D structure. The assumptions are, first, that each data set senses the same underlying geological structure in terms of different material properties and, secondly, that two different material properties are correlated locally or globally throughout the entire target area. As a result, the distribution of limestone cavities can be estimated under the assumption that they are mostly filled with groundwater and clayey soils and have abnormally low levels of resistivity and density. The estimated distribution corresponds with the grouting, borehole imaging and monitoring data. In this example, it can be seen that the integration analysis of 2-D electrical resistivity and 3-D gravity methods is a very powerful tool for 3-D subsurface imaging and that the method can provide enhanced imaging capabilities for 3-D cavities.  相似文献
