Chinese tamarisk (saltcedar) is a deciduous shrub that occurs widely across the Yellow River Delta in China. The spatial structure of Chinese tamarisk is believed to have an influence on the landscape and habitats of rare birds. In this study, first, Chinese tamarisk is detected using Canny edge detector and mathematical morphological operators based on SPOT 5 fusion-ready imagery. Then the numbers, areas, locations, and patch spacing of Chinese tamarisk patches are calculated. The experiments show that the detection accuracy of Chinese tamarisk patches is about 93.4% after the disconnection of connected patches. The distribution orientation of about 70% of the patches is approximately south–north. About 91% of the minimum distances among the patches are between 12.5 and 57.5 m. The rose graph indicates that the main azimuth between patches is north–northwest, and the second is northeast and southeast. The present study indicates that the integrating Canny edge detector with the algorithms for extracting circular and elliptical objects based on mathematical morphology is simple and effective for detecting Chinese tamarisk patches and is easy to identify the spatial structure of Chinese tamarisk patches, which reduces the time and labor for the visual interpretation of Chinese tamarisk patches.  相似文献

The most common mass transit modes in metropolitan cities include buses, subways, and taxicabs, each of which contribute to an interconnected complex network that delivers urban dwellers to their destinations. Understanding the intertwined usages of these three transit modes at different places and time allows for better sensing of urban mobility and the built environment. In this article, we leverage a comprehensive data collection of bus, metro, and taxicab ridership from Shenzhen, China to unveil the spatio‐temporal interplay between different mass transit modes. To achieve this goal, we develop a novel spectral clustering framework that imposes spatio‐temporal similarities between mass transit mode usage in urban space and differentiates urban spaces associated with distinct ridership patterns of mass transit modes. Five resulting categories of urban spaces are identified and interpreted with auxiliary knowledge of the city's metro network and land‐use functionality. In general, different categorized urban spaces are associated with different accessibility levels (such as high‐, medium‐, and low‐ranked) and different urban functionalities (such as residential, commercial, leisure‐dominant, and home–work balanced). The results indicate that different mass transit modes cooperate or compete based on demographic and socioeconomic attributes of the underlying urban environments. Our proposed analytical framework provides a novel and effective way to explore the mass transit system and the functional heterogeneity in cities. It demonstrates great potential for assisting policymakers and municipal managers in optimizing public transportation facility allocation and city‐wide daily commuting distribution.  相似文献

The spread of communicable diseases through a population is an intrinsic spatial and temporal process. This paper presents an individual‐based analytical framework for modeling the spatial and temporal heterogeneity in the disease transmission. The framework specifies a network model structure and six associated parameters. These parameters describe the properties of nodes, the properties of links, and the topology of the network. Through this model structure and associated parameters, this framework allows the representation of discrete individuals, individualized interactions, and interaction patterns in a network of human contact. The explicit representation of the spatial distribution and mobility of individuals in particular facilitates the modeling of spatial heterogeneity in the disease transmission.  相似文献

为深入分析并研究鄂尔多斯块体东北缘近期的地壳垂直形变趋势,基于区域中10条国家一等水准测量路线的共用水准点,通过分段平差计算其相应的高程平差值及垂直形变量,进而利用三角网法提取该地区的垂直形变速率等值线。通过效果图对比可知,近期鄂尔多斯块体东北缘呈现下沉的趋势,两个V型漏斗区分布于整个研究区域中部的南北两侧,南侧漏斗区的下沉速率较北侧偏大,这在一定程度上与该地区北高南低的地形走向大体一致。但对于V型漏斗区形成的具体原因还有待进一步研究并确认。  相似文献

井下平面控制测量网只能以基于支导线的形式沿巷道布设,针对矿山重大贯通工程测量所用的支导线精度满足不了贯通允许偏差的情况,采用陀螺定向技术,研究了井下支导线升级改造的3个方案。首先,加测一条陀螺定向边方案,导线总边数不超过5条时,定向边加测在末边上;否则,定向边由末边开始上移至总边数1/3的位置;其次,加测多条陀螺定向边的多节导线方案,以等距离间隔加测3~4条陀螺定向边为宜;最后,陀螺定向—光电测距导线方案,仅在超长距离或超高精度的矿山贯通工程测量中应用。结合实例计算,升级改造的3个方案与原有支导线比较,导线终点点位精度可依次提高0.5~1.5倍,1.6~4.5倍,3~8倍。  相似文献

An intense process of urbanization, witnessed particularly in the last decade, has stressed the need to comprehend human mobility behavior in urban settings. Although the emergence of contributed geospatial data (i.e., pervasive activity‐based data) has contributed to substantial progress toward understanding human activity, the relationship between human‐crowd mobility and the functional structure of a city is not yet well understood. In this context, the present research focuses on the intra‐urban origin–destination matrix modeling founded on a combination of two major crowdsourced datasets as well as the inclusion of urban communities’ structure. Specifically, the well‐known “radiation” and “PWO” models were modified through first, identifying the communities embedded in the cyberspace network then employing the identified hierarchical structure of the spatial‐interaction network for the formulation of the users’ movement network and second, imposing proper input variables including the telecommunication activity volume and check‐in frequency. The results obtained by various empirical analyses suggest that the modified community‐constrained origin–destination flow estimation models exhibit better performance levels than those of alternative conventional mobility models.  相似文献

以中国大陆及周边10年来近400个GPS测站的复测资料为基础,获取并绘制了现今地壳水平运动与变形图像,结果表明:青藏块体内西半部南北向只存在微弱的缩短变化(5mm/a左右),东半部南北向则没有缩短的迹象,南北缩短的区域主要位于青藏块体南缘的喜马拉雅条带(约15mm/a),北缘中部的柴达木西区(约15mm/a)和青藏块体北面的天山块体及周围地区(约15mm/a);青藏块体大约有10mm/a的东西拉张,但不均匀,自西向东经历了由弱到强再有所减弱的过程,整个西部地区东边缘的东向运动表现为南强北弱的左旋特征;川滇菱形块体不是逃逸块体而是变形块体;青藏块体东缘及附近地区是东向运动的消减区带,面应变结果显示,青藏块体周边以面收缩为主,内部则以面膨胀为主;其以北的地区以面收缩为主(但压中有张),面应变的量级为10^-8/a。这样的变形结果,若只靠来处于印度板块的北向挤压是无法解释的。由此并结合最新的地球物理研究成果可推断或证实,地壳下部来自南向的物质涌入是控制青藏块体乃至中国大陆形变的另一大动力源,甚至可能是主导动力源;或者具有深、浅立体活动的某种协同性。  相似文献

本文首先分析了绵阳市基础控制网的相关精度和地震前后同一控制点坐标差的限差要求,然后根据地震前后绵阳市GPS控制网的坐标变化,得出了地震对GPS控制网覆盖范围区域的地形影响:该区域地形向东南方向分别移动的平均值为27.4cm和11.6cm同时,越往西北方向,坐标点位差值越大,最大值为79.2cm.由于不是均匀平移,从而推断地震可能导致该区域部分地形隆起或下降。  相似文献

Web‐scale knowledge graphs such as the global Linked Data cloud consist of billions of individual statements about millions of entities. In recent years, this has fueled the interest in knowledge graph summarization techniques that compute representative subgraphs for a given collection of nodes. In addition, many of the most densely connected entities in knowledge graphs are places and regions, often characterized by thousands of incoming and outgoing relationships to other places, actors, events, and objects. In this article, we propose a novel summarization method that incorporates spatially explicit components into a reinforcement learning framework in order to help summarize geographic knowledge graphs, a topic that has not been considered in previous work. Our model considers the intrinsic graph structure as well as the extrinsic information to gain a more comprehensive and holistic view of the summarization task. By collecting a standard data set and evaluating our proposed models, we demonstrate that the spatially explicit model yields better results than non‐spatial models, thereby demonstrating that spatial is indeed special as far as summarization is concerned.  相似文献

针对地图符号模型与异构地图符号资源不兼容,难以实现在网络环境下多源异构地图符号的集成与互操作的问题,提出了一种基于本体的地图符号概念模型。通过定义符号的类、属性、关系和约束条件,该模型实现了对符号概念及关系的形式化表达和符号本体的构建。在此基础上,采用SOA软件架构思想,建立了基于Web服务的地图符号分布式共享框架结构,实现了符号的跨平台调用。本研究基于XML Web Services的地图符号与ArcGIS Engine之间的跨平台调用,进行了本符号共享方法的可行性试验。试验结果表明,该方法可以实现网络环境下多源异构地图符号的灵活开放集成和互操作,并且有效地保留了地图符号的语义信息。  相似文献

Semantic information in 3D building models is of vital importance for various applications in terms of smart cities. To infer the semantic information and localize the components on building facades, this article proposes a novel approach to model facades with semantics by constructing hierarchical topological graphs. This method utilizes the topological characteristics of building facades. In the first‐layer layout graph, the algorithm takes the nearest cluster as the vertex and the distance between components as the edge. Thus, a topology graph is generated for the facade. The proposed algorithm is divided into three steps. First, the topology graph is obtained by calculating the spacing between the components. It is reasonable to calculate the topological graph by encoding the topological edges. If this calculation is not effective, the topology is justified by adjusting the spacing between components. Finally, the vertices in the graph are used to repair the occluded parts of the facade. In the second‐layer graph, a grid is constructed according to the first‐layer graph. Then, the attributes of the nodes are used to reconstruct the facade. The experimental results show that this method has a high accuracy of 90% and that the average time consumption is 6 s.  相似文献

This study proposes network‐based spatial interpolation methods to help predict unknown spatial values along networks more accurately. It expands on two of the commonly used spatial interpolation methods, IDW (inverse distance weighting) and OK (ordinary kriging), and applies them to analyze spatial data observed on a network. The study first provides the methodological framework, and it then examines the validity of the proposed methods by cross‐validating elevations from two contrasting patterns of street network and comparing the MSEs (Mean Squared Errors) of the predicted values measured with the two proposed network‐based methods and their conventional counterparts. The study suggests that both network‐based IDW and network‐based OK are generally more accurate than their existing counterparts, with network‐based OK constantly outperforming the other methods. The network‐based methods also turn out to be more sensitive to the edge effect, and their performance improves after edge correction. Furthermore, the MSEs of standard OK and network‐based OK improve as more sample locations are used, whereas those of standard IDW and network‐based IDW remain stable regardless of the number of sample locations. The two network‐based methods use a similar set of sample locations, and their performance is inherently affected by the difference in their weight distribution among sample locations.  相似文献

The flaws of using traditional planar point‐pattern analysis techniques with network constrained points have been thoroughly explored in the literature. Because of this, new network‐based measures have been introduced for their planar analogues, including the network based K‐function. These new measures involve the calculation of network distances between point events rather than traditional Euclidean distances. Some have suggested that the underlying structure of a network, such as whether it includes directional constraints or speed limits, may be considered when applying these methods. How different network structures might affect the results of the network spatial statistics is not well understood. This article examines the results of network K‐functions when taking into consideration network distances for three different types of networks: the original road network, topologically correct networks, and directionally constrained networks. For this aim, four scenarios using road networks from Tampa, Florida and New York City, New York were used to test how network constraints affected the network K‐function. Depending on which network is under consideration, the underlying network structure could impact the interpretation. In particular, directional constraints showed reduced clustering across the different scenarios. Caution should be used when selecting the road network, and constraints, for a network K‐function analysis.  相似文献

Territorial control is central to the understanding of violent armed conflicts, yet reliable and valid measures of this concept do not exist. We argue that geospatial analysis provides an important perspective to measure the concept. In particular, measuring territorial control can be seen as an application of calculating service areas around points of control. The modeling challenge is acute for areas with limited road infrastructure, where no complete network is available to perform the analysis, and movements largely occur off road. We present a new geospatial approach that applies network analysis on a hybrid transportation network with both actual road data and hexagon‐fishnet‐based artificial road data representing on‐road and off‐road movements, respectively. Movement speed or restriction can be readily adjusted using various input data. Simulating off‐road movement with hexagon‐fishnet‐based artificial road data has a number of advantages including scalability to small or large study areas and flexibility to allow all‐directional travel. We apply this method to measuring territorial control of armed groups in Sub‐Saharan Africa where inferior transport infrastructure is the norm. Based on the Uppsala Conflict Data Program's (UCDP) Georeferenced Event Data (GED) as well as spatial data on terrain, population locations, and limited transportation networks, we enhance the delineation of the specific areas directly controlled by each warring party during civil wars within a given travel time.  相似文献

Waldo Tobler frequently reminded us that the law named after him was nothing more than calling for exceptions. This article discusses one of these exceptions. Spatial relations between points are frequently modeled as vectors in which both distance and direction are of equal prominence. However, in Tobler's first law of geography, such a relation is described only from the perspective of distance by relating the decreasing similarity of observations in some attribute space to their increasing distance in geographic space. Although anisotropic versions of many geographic analysis techniques, such as directional semivariograms, anisotropy clustering, and anisotropic point pattern analysis, have been developed over the years, direction remains on the level of an afterthought. We argue that, compared to distance, directional information is still under‐explored and anisotropic techniques are substantially less frequently applied in everyday GIS analysis. Commonly, when classical spatial autocorrelation indicators, such as Moran's I, are used to understand a spatial pattern, the weight matrix is only built from distance, without direction being considered. Similarly, GIS operations, such as buffering, do not take direction into account either, with distance in all directions being treated equally. In reality, meanwhile, particularly in urban structures and when processes are driven by the underlying physical geography, direction plays an essential role. In this article we ask whether the development of early GIS, data (sample) sparsity, and Tobler's law lead to a theory‐induced blindness for the role of direction. If so, is it possible to envision direction becoming a first‐class citizen of equal importance to distance instead of being an afterthought only considered when the deviation from a perfect circle becomes too obvious to be ignored?  相似文献

Recent urban studies have used human mobility data such as taxi trajectories and smartcard data as a complementary way to identify the social functions of land use. However, little work has been conducted to reveal how multi‐modal transportation data impact on this identification process. In our study, we propose a data‐driven approach that addresses the relationships between travel behavior and urban structure: first, multi‐modal transportation data are aggregated to extract explicit statistical features; then, topic modeling methods are applied to transform these explicit statistical features into latent semantic features; and finally, a classification method is used to identify functional zones with similar latent topic distributions. Two 10‐day‐long “big” datasets from the 2,370 bicycle stations of the public bicycle‐sharing system, and up to 9,992 taxi cabs within the core urban area of Hangzhou City, China, as well as point‐of‐interest data are tested to reveal the extent to which different travel modes contribute to the detection and understanding of urban land functions. Our results show that: (1) using latent semantic features delineated from the topic modeling process as the classification input outperforms approaches using explicit statistical features; (2) combining multi‐modal data visibly improves the accuracy and consistency of the identified functional zones; and (3) the proposed data‐driven approach is also capable of identifying mixed land use in the urban space. This work presents a novel attempt to uncover the hidden linkages between urban transportation patterns with urban land use and its functions.  相似文献

The network‐time prism (NTP) is an extension of the space‐time prism that provides a realistic model of the potential pattern of moving objects in transportation networks. Measuring the similarity among NTPs can be useful for clustering, aggregating, and querying potential mobility patterns. Despite its practical importance, however, there has been little attention given to similarity measures for NTPs. In this research, we develop and evaluate a methodology for measuring the structural similarity between NTPs using the temporal signature approach. The approach extracts the one‐dimensional temporal signature of a selected property of NTPs and applies existing path similarity measures to the signatures. Graph‐theoretic indices play an essential role in summarizing the structural properties of NTPs at each moment. Two extensive simulation experiments demonstrate the feasibility of the approach and compare the performance of graph indices for measuring NTP similarity. An empirical application using bike‐share system data shows that the method is useful for detecting different usage patterns of two heterogenous user groups.  相似文献

将GIS技术引入洪涝灾害风险评估,可以弥补传统方法评估结果空间化显示不足的缺点。本文针对浙江省洪涝灾害的发生特点,从危险性和易损性两方面选择了浙江省洪涝灾害的影响因素,包括降雨量、地形、河网密度、人口密度和耕地百分比等因子。运用GIS空间分析技术对各因子进行空间化,结合层次分析法(AHP)确定各影响因素的权重,进行浙江省洪涝灾害风险评估和制图,并基于SuperMap iObjects平台设计与开发了浙江省洪涝灾害风险评估系统。研究结果表明:浙江省发生洪涝灾害的风险普遍偏高,高风险区域位于浙北和浙东南的沿海地带,较高风险区域位于浙东、浙南和浙北地区及金衢盆地中间地区,中等风险区位于浙南的西面、浙北及浙西地区。本文分析结果可为浙江省洪涝灾害预防和管理提供决策依据。  相似文献
