煤岩结构与煤体裂隙分布特征的研究   总被引:7,自引:1,他引:6  
通过对河东煤田太原组8#煤层的19个煤样进行煤岩结构划分、裂隙微观分形特征和裂隙密度测量,研究了煤岩结构与裂隙分布特征的关系。结果表明:不同煤岩类型条带中,裂隙密度具有较大的差异,镜亮煤条带是裂隙分布的主要部位;镜煤条带中裂隙的密度和分维数与条带厚度、相邻条带煤岩类型有关;全煤样裂隙密度和裂隙分维数与煤岩结构类型有密切关系。煤岩结构的研究在预测煤层的渗透性方面有重要意义。   相似文献

In this study, vitrinite concentrations were prepared from vitrain bands from two Carboniferous coal seam locations in Eastern United States, a Tertiary age coal seam in Alaska and a Tertiary age coal seam in Western Canada. These vitrinite samples were characterized using pyrolysis-gas chromatography in addition to petrographic and bulk chemical analyses. The purpose of this study is to apply quantitative pyrolysis-gas chromatography to a set of vitrinite concentrates from different coal basins of different age which are at relatively similar levels of rank and determine whether compositional variation can be observed.  相似文献

Selected Tertiary coals from the Zeya–Buryea Basin, Far Eastern Russia, were investigated for aspects of their coal type, rank, depositional environment and post-depositional history. The coals have been examined in outcrop (lithotype logging), microscopically (maceral, reflectance and fluorescence), and geochemically (proximate analysis).Two laterally extensive coal-bearing horizons occur: one of Palaeocene age and the other of early Miocene age. The Palaeocene coals were investigated in active open-cut mines at Raichikhinsk and Yerkovtsi and the early Miocene deposit in an abandoned open-cut mine at Cergeyevka.Palaeocene coals at Raichikhinsk and Yerkovtsi were indistinguishable from each other macroscopically, microscopically, and geochemically. The deposits were sufficiently coalified that brightness logging could be undertaken. Dull coals, with numerous fusainous wisps, were dominant. Four dulling-up sequences, which represent stacked peat deposits, were observed at Raichikhinsk. At Yerkovtsi, only a small section of the middle of the seam, which was mostly dull and muddy coal, was investigated. Petrographically, these coals were dominated by inertinite group macerals, which is unusual in non-Gondwanan coals and rare in the Tertiary. Rank classification was problematic with volatile matter (VM) content of vitrain (daf), macroscopic appearance, and microscopic textures suggesting subbituminous B rank, but carbon content, moisture content and specific energy indicating a lignite rank.Notwithstanding complications of rank, estimates of the maximum-range burial depths were calculated. Taking the VM (daf) content of vitrain as 48%, burial depth estimates range from 900 m for a high geothermal gradient and long heating time to a maximum of 3300 m for a low geothermal gradient and short heating time. These estimates are maxima as the coal rank may be lower than implied by the VM.The Cergeyevka deposit is a soft brown coal. Limited sampling of the upper-most portion indicated a high moisture content (75% daf) and an unusual, hydrogen-rich geochemistry. Lack of identifiable liptinites using either reflected light or fluorescence microscopy suggested a significant bituminite component. Otherwise, the coals appear to be typical for the Tertiary. An estimate of 125 m maximum burial depth was obtained using the bed-moisture content of the coal, which is around the present burial depth.Comparison of present-day thicknesses with inferred burial depths suggests that at least 500 m of section is missing between the Palaeocene coals and the early Miocene coals.Palaeoenvironmental considerations suggest that fire played a significant role in the accumulation of the peats at Raichikhinsk and Yerkovtsi. At Cergeyevka, peat accumulation ended by drowning of the mire.Two tuff beds were recognised within the seam at Raichikhinsk and one in the seam at Yerkovtsi. Correlation of the tuff beds is uncertain but they should prove useful in regional coal seam correlation and interpreting coal depositional environments. Geochemical analysis by XRF was complicated by high loss-on-ignition (LOI) values. Despite extensive alteration, an acid igneous source is implied from the presence of free quartz and TiO2/Al2O3 ratios of 0.02 to 0.05.  相似文献

我国西部地区中新生代赋存着丰富的低煤级(Rmax<0.8%)煤炭资源,且绝大部分为低灰、低硫、低磷的优质煤,这为煤的洁净利用提供了最佳的液化原料。从煤质和煤岩基本性质出发,探讨了研究区低煤级煤的液化性能。通过高压釜在溶剂和催化剂条件下的加氢液化试验可知,在氢耗量5%左右时,煤的液化转化率达90%以上,油产率达55%以上,这表明我国西部低煤级煤可作为重要的液化用煤资源。同时,通过分析影响本区煤液化性能的控制因素,发现煤的挥发分产率、碳氢原子比、活性组分含量和镜质体反射率等指标可直接影响煤的液化性能。   相似文献

通过高压釜在溶剂和催化剂条件下对煤的加氢液化试验,探讨了低煤级煤中煤岩组分的液化性能。结果表明,在不同宏观煤岩成分的液化试验中,转化率和油产率表现出镜煤>亮煤>暗煤>丝炭;对于显微组分的液化,不仅镜质组和壳质组具有反应活性,半镜质组也有一定活性,且活性组分(镜质组+半镜质组+壳质组)含量与液化转化率、油产率表现出良好的正比关系。低煤级煤中,Rmax<1.50%的半丝质组分在液化时有反应活性,其活性低于同一煤中的半镜质组,而Rmax>1.50%的惰质组分已不具反应活性。   相似文献

This coal, of Cretaceous age and from southwest Utah, attracted attention because a lithobody from it showed a high hydrogen content and excellent behavior in liquefaction. The seam is 230 cm thick and consists of an upper and lower lithobody of a clarodurainic type, extensively weathered, surrounding two lithobodies of canneloid-boghead character. The petrography of the canneloid-boghead lithobodies is complex; the vitrinite content is only about 25%, and the bulk of the material appears to consist of a matrix of what may be bituminite. Appreciable amounts of resinite and liptodetrinite are also present. If the suggested affinity to canneloid-boghead coal types is correct, the lithobodies would be regarded as saprohumolithic in character and were probably formed in an open body of water. Ultimate analysis shows hydrogen contents of 7% (dmmf) or greater. Fourier Transform Infrared spectroscopy shows that the samples have a high degree of aliphatic character, methylene chains being abundant. Carboxylic acid groups are present, presumably as a result of weathering. Subtraction of spectra shows that one canneloid-boghead lithobody is appreciably more weathered than others.  相似文献

Although petrographic analysis of the lithotypes present in coal samples has been successfully used in the correlation of coal seams, the study of the environments of coal seam deposition, and the evaluation of the mining and cleaning properties of numerous coal seams, coal lithotype analysis is not routinely performed in North America at this time because it is very time consuming and requires the services of a highly skilled petrographer. The objective of this study was to evaluate the capability of one of the newly improved image analysis microscope systems to characterize coal lithotypes and perform automated lithotype analyses on polished block samples of coal.The results of this study show that each of the lithotypes examined, vitrain, clarain, fusain, and durain, yield a characteristic reflectance histogram and that analysis of reflectance histograms taken from a transverse, perpendicular to bedding, down a polished block sample yield results on the kinds and thicknesses of the lithotypes present that are in good agreement with the results obtained by manual methods.  相似文献

An underground investigation has been performed in a subbituminous coal seam exhibiting a particular cleat pattern in the Kushiro coalfield, Japan. The coal cleat pattern shows some analogy to isolated straight joints, and is believed to have been formed during the late Tertiary period by a compressive tectonic stress, roughly in the east–west direction. Three cylindrical coal specimens representing the three orthogonal axes of the coal seam with respect to the bedding plane and its associated cleat were cored from a large block of coal. Gas permeabilities of the three coal specimens were measured under the same hydrostatic pressure conditions. Results clearly revealed anisotropy in permeability of the coal seam under relatively low confining pressures of less than about 12 MPa. The specimen cored parallel to both the bedding plane and cleat strike showed the highest permeability, even though the cleats were partly filled with calcite and clay minerals. The permeability in this direction was 2.5 times higher than perpendicular to the bedding plane, and 3 times higher than in the direction parallel to the bedding plane but perpendicular to the cleat strike. This suggests that the cleats play a greater role than bedding planes in controlling fluid flow in the coal seam. The permeability in the three orientations, however, converged to the same value at confining pressures above about 16 MPa. This may suggest that both cleats and bedding planes in a coal seam can close due to earth pressure if the coal seam is located below a certain depth. It further indicates that the traditional view that gas permeability is always greater parallel to the coal bedding than perpendicular to it should be reconsidered.  相似文献

We report laboratory experiments to investigate the role of gas desorption, stress level and loading rate on the mechanical behavior of methane infiltrated coal. Two suites of experiments are carried out. The first suite of experiments is conducted on coal (Lower Kittanning seam, West Virginia) at a confining stress of 2 MPa and methane pore pressures in the fracture of 1 MPa to examine the role of gas desorption. These include three undrained (hydraulically closed) experiments with different pore pressure distributions in the coal, namely, overpressured, normally pressured and underpressured, and one specimen under drained condition. Based on the experimental results, we find quantitative evidence that gas desorption weakens coal through two mechanisms: (1) reducing effective stress controlled by the ratio of gas desorption rate over the drainage rate, and (2) crushing coal due to the internal gas energy release controlled by gas composition, pressure and content. The second suite of experiments is conducted on coal (Upper B seam, Colorado) at confining stresses of 2 and 4 MPa, with pore pressures of 1 and 3 MPa, under underpressured and drained condition with three different loading rates to study the role of stress level and loading rate. We find that the Biot coefficient of coal specimens is <1. Reducing effective confining stress decreases the elastic modulus and strength of coal. This study has important implications for the stability of underground coal seams.  相似文献

运用电感耦合等离子质谱(ICP-MS)、冷蒸汽原子吸收光谱(CV-AAS)、显微镜光度计和煤化学等方法,对江苏徐州大屯矿区张双楼12-1号钻孔腐泥煤(太原组17号煤层)和龙固煤矿腐植煤(太原组21号煤层)的煤岩煤质和微量元素特征进行研究。结果显示,徐州大屯矿区腐泥煤中藻类体含量很高,是典型的藻煤,其挥发份产率和氢含量是腐植煤的1.5倍;腐泥煤的Sr/Ba为1.43,腐植煤为0.48,揭示该腐泥煤是在比较开阔的海水中形成的;腐泥煤和腐植煤中的不相容元素在原始地幔标准化曲线上具有一致的Pb显著富集、Ti显著亏损的分布特征,其稀土元素丰度球粒陨石标准化曲线形态相似,均显示轻稀土富集、重稀土相对亏损的特征;腐泥煤中Ce和Eu元素未发生价态变化,腐植煤中Eu显示负异常。  相似文献

陕西省煤炭资源丰富,煤类分布齐全,以陕西省煤炭规划矿区为评价单元,在对矿区主要煤层煤岩煤质特征分析的基础上,参照特殊用煤资源潜力评价指标体系,对陕西省14个煤炭规划矿区液化、气化及焦化用煤资源进行了初步划分,结果表明:陕西省直接液化用煤和气化用煤资源丰富,焦化用煤相对较少,气化用煤主要分布于黄陇侏罗纪煤田黄陵矿区、旬耀矿区、彬长矿区和永陇矿区,陕北侏罗纪煤田的神府矿区、榆神矿区、榆横矿区以及陕北石炭-二叠系古城矿区;焦化用煤主要分布于渭北石炭-二叠纪煤田铜川矿区、蒲白矿区、澄合矿区和韩城矿区中高阶烟煤分布区,液化用煤主要分布于府谷矿区、榆横矿区、神府矿区、榆神矿区等低阶长焰煤分布地区;为陕西省煤化工产业布局和煤炭资源清洁高效利用提供了方向。  相似文献

Enhanced coalbed methane (ECBM) involves the injection of a gas, such as nitrogen or carbon dioxide, into the coal reservoir to displace the methane present. Potentially this strategy can offer greater recovery of the coal seam methane and higher rates of recovery due to pressure maintenance of the reservoir. While reservoir simulation forms an important part of the planning and assessment of ECBM, a key question is the accuracy of existing approaches to characterising and representing the gas migration process. Laboratory core flooding allows the gas displacement process to be investigated on intact coal core samples under conditions analogous to those in the reservoir. In this paper a series of enhanced drainage core floods are presented and history matched using an established coal seam gas reservoir simulator, SIMED II. The core floods were performed at two pore pressures, 2 MPa and 10 MPa, and involve either nitrogen or flue gas (90% nitrogen and 10% CO2) flooding of core samples initially saturated with methane. At the end of the nitrogen floods the core flood was reversed by flooding with methane to investigate the potential for hysteresis in the gas displacement process. Prior to the core flooding an independent characterisation programme was performed on the core sample where the adsorption isotherm, swelling with gas adsorption, cleat compressibility and geomechanical properties were measured. This information was used in the history matching of the core floods; the properties adjusted in the history matching were related to the affect of sorption strain on coal permeability and the transfer of gas between cleat and matrix. Excellent agreement was obtained between simulated and observed gas rates, breakthrough times and total mass balances for the nitrogen/methane floods. It was found that a triple porosity model improved the agreement with observed gas migration over the standard dual porosity Warren-Root model. The Connell, Lu and Pan hydrostatic permeability model was used in the simulations and improved history match results by representing the contrast between pore and bulk sorption strains for the 10 MPa cases but this effect was not apparent for the 2 MPa cases. There were significant differences between the simulations and observations for CO2 flow rates and mass balances for the flue gas core floods. A possible explanation for these results could be that there may be inaccuracy in the representation of mixed gas adsorption using the extended Langmuir adsorption model.  相似文献

分析岔河勘探区龙潭组主要煤层6号煤瓦斯压力的实测结果,及部分钻孔依据煤层瓦斯含量计算的瓦斯压力,得出该主采煤层瓦斯压力均大于煤层突出危险性指标的临界值0.74MPa,说明该区主煤层存在突出危险性。比较实测瓦斯压力与计算结果,认为计算结果偏小的原因与煤层瓦斯含量有关:一是在钻具提升过程中部分瓦斯逃逸,造成煤样解吸测定过程中累计解吸的气体量变小;二是气体损失存在误差;三是解吸化验时间过长,产生泄出现象,导致实测瓦斯含量偏小。  相似文献

通过采用传统的岩石薄片显微鉴定和现代化扫描、透视电子显微镜、X射线衍射分析、差热分析等方法对9煤至奥灰间隔水层岩石的结构、构造、矿物成分进行了综合测试,微观研究表明,区内9煤至奥灰问地层中铝含量较高,隔水层中泥质岩粘土矿物主要以叶腊石、伊利石、高岭石为主,大部分岩石遇水后稳定,无崩解现象。其中在煤系地层中发现大量叶腊石。初步分析认为是受后期强烈岩浆岩活动影响,发生热液蚀变而形成。通过压汞实验测试了10个隔水层岩样空隙结构,原岩状态下,9煤至奥灰含水层间隔水层空隙度很低,呈现致密状态,因而应具有良好的隔水能力。  相似文献

煤层CO2地质封存可实现CO2减排和增产煤层气双重目标,是一种极具发展前景的碳封存技术。相对于其他封存地质体而言,煤的微孔极其发育,煤层CO2封存机制与煤中气、水微观作用关系密切,其内在影响机理尚不清楚。以2个烟煤样品的系统煤岩学分析测试为基础,构建了煤的大分子结构及板状孔隙空间模型,进一步采用分子动力学方法模拟了不同温、压条件下、不同煤基质类型表面的CO2和水的润湿行为,揭示煤层CO2注入后引起的水润湿性变化规律,初步阐明煤层CO2封存的可注性、封存潜力、封存有效性等影响因素及微观作用机理。结果表明:(1)影响煤润湿性的主要因素是煤中极性含氧官能团,其含量越高煤的润湿性越强;(2)煤中注入CO2后,CO2通过溶解作用穿透水分子层与水分子发生竞争吸附,从而减小水在煤表面润湿性;(3)随注入压力增大和温度降低,煤表面CO2吸附量增多,对氢键破坏作用增强,润湿性减弱越明显;(4)亲水性煤层CO<...  相似文献

易于气化制备合成气(CO+H2)的价格低廉的煤,都可以作为间接液化用原料煤。H/C原子比较高、挥发份较高、惰性组分含量和灰分较低的褐煤、长焰煤、不粘煤、弱粘煤等是适宜直接液化煤种。中国自主开发的“神华煤直接液化工艺”由下列成熟单元组成:全部供氢性循环溶剂制备煤浆、强制循环悬浮床反应器、减压蒸馏分离沥青和固体、强制悬浮床加氢反应器。该工艺采用的催化剂是国家“863”项目研制成功的性能优良的催化剂。  相似文献

Because of the short supply of high-quality coking coals in certain areas of the world, many methods of improving the coking characteristics of poorly coking or noncoking coals have been examined as alternatives to importing more expensive, better quality coals. Co-carbonization, or the addition of coal-derived or petroleum-derived materials to the coal charge prior to carbonization, has been used on a commercial basis in the Japanese coking industry. These additives have been used in both solid and liquid form as binders in coal briquettes or as direct additions to the coal blend.In this study three different coal lithotypes were sampled from each of three United States bituminous coal seams: (1) a marginally coking high-volatile B-rank Illinois No. 6 Seam; (2) a highly fluid, good coking quality, high-volatile A-rank Pittsburgh Seam; and (3) a strongly coking low-volatile Blue Creek Seam. Each lithotype sample was carbonized in small-scale (50 g) charges with each of three additives at 0, 2, 5, and 10% additive by weight. The additives included ASP, an asphalt pitch; KRP, a petroleum residue pitch; and SRC, a solvent-refined coal product. The different lithotypes were sampled to examine the effects of coal type as well as rank. A micro-tumbler test was used to give at least a relative coke-strength value for the cokes produced. In addition, all the cokes produced were examined microscopically to determine the effects of co-carbonization on the coke structure.The Illinois No. 6, Pittsburgh, and Blue Creek Seam coals all showed substantial strength increases when co-carbonized with 2, 5, and 10% of each of the three additives, particularly at the 5 and 10% levels. The SRC appears to be the best additive overall for the three ranks of coal, as judged by its ability to combine with the coal to make a higher strength coke. There appear to be no conclusive coke-strength differences among lithotype samples for any of the three coals, probably because of the small scale of the tests and the relatively small differences in inert maceral content among the lithotypes. Five percent by weight of additive appears to be sufficient, if properly blended with the coal charge, to produce higher strength cokes. This is also probably the maximum economically viable level, particularly in the United States coking industry. Two percent is probably the minimum additive level for adequate mixing on a commercial scale.  相似文献
