Study on the low-velocity discontinuity at the depth of 170 km beneath SSE station in Shanghai, China

摘要: 利用接收函数多次波研究了上海SSE台站下方170 km深度低速界面.通过全波场理论接收函数模拟,对观测资料进行了合理解释.结合该区域已有研究成果,推断该低速界面可能由软流圈中的低速异常体引起.另一方面,该结果也和面波层析成像结果相一致.Abstract: The low-velocity discontinuity at 170 km depth was determined with multiples on the receiver functions beneath the SSE station in Shanghai, China. The synthetic receiver functions calculated from full-wave field seismograms explain the observed results perfectly. This low-velocity discontinuity might result from the low velocity abnormities in asthenosphere. The result is also consistent with the result from surface-wave tomography.
