| Abstract: | When studying in the centre of the Eastern Yellow River Coalfield,the authors discovered the storm event deposit of the carboniferous.It includes the sandy tempestites of Benxi Group of Middle System and the mid-upper clastic tempestites of Taiyuan Group of Upper System.Perpendicularly the tempestites show a set of characteristic sequence.It may be divided successively from the bottom to the top into undulated base erosion surface,stagnant bed,normal size sequence,rippled bed in the middle and the disturbed bed at the top. |
