Frequency spectra of Tianzhu earthquake sequence are analysed by using the fast fourier transform and the maximum entropy spectrum methods and results by the two methods are compared.The results show the two methods are effective and reliable for obtaining useful informations from seismic wave.The resolving power of M EM is higher than FFT,but the FFT is a simple and convenient method.
