Abstract:This article offers ageneral introduction of the Heihe River Basin.The annual distribution,interyear variation and the regional distribution of the rainfall,evaporationandrunoffinthebasinareanalyzedbasedontheyearsofaccumulateddata.Duetosuchfactorsasshortofrainfall,greatevaporation,lackofwaterresources,sparsecoverageofvegetation,andserioussoilerosion,theHeihevalleyhasafragilebiologicalenvironment.
