南天自行计划的进展和精度

摘    要:TheYale/SanJuan南天自行计划简SPM。SPM是美国里克天文台北天自行计划在南天的延伸。根据SPM计划,最终在南天相对的星系测定出大约一百万颗天体的绝对自行、位置、星等和颜色。SPM最初目的是研究角河系结构。

Abstract:The Yale/San Juan southern proper motion program (SPM) is the extension of the Lick Observatory northern proper motion program to the southern hemisphere. With respect to faint galndes, the SPM will produce positions, absolute proper motion, magnitudes and colouxs for some one million stars in the southern sky. Originallty the purpose of the SPM was only to study the formation of a secondary reference system of faint staxs. Plans of the SPM are also to link the SPM and NPM data with the Hipparcos reference frame.According to the purpose of the SPM, the scope, progress and accuracy of the SPMare emphatically presented in the paper.
