| Abstract: | This paper discussed the geological features,origin,classification and prospecting slgnificance of the silicified caps in the mesozoic volcanic rocks in south-eastern part of Zhejiang province, and put forward that silicified caps of weathering-leaching type were the prospecting mark for pyrophyllite, dickite and alunite while the silicified caps of mesothermal-epithermal metasomatic filling type were the prospecting mark for volcanic ore deposits of silver,gold lead and zinc. |
