TYPES OF PRESSURE SHADOW STRUCTURES WITH THEIR SHEARING DIRECTION

The paper presented a new classification method of pressure shadow structures in the light of relationship between growth direction of pressure shadow and shisosit and also their morphological features,but the traditional method was only according to the lattet factor.At the same time,the paper established a relevant rule to determine shearng direction,pointed out that only rhombic symmetrical parallel pressure shadowes had no signification of determining the shearing direction,andlyzde many issues,such as growth habits of the minerals in a pressure shadow,multiple generations of pressure shadow and so on ,systematically discused kinematic and dynamics of pressure shadow structures,and introduced a new method to juge moving direction of a geological body by the shearing direction of pressure shadow structures.
