记联合国亚太经社会(ESCTP)第一次浅成热液型金矿讨论会

联合国亚太经社会主持召开的第一次浅成热液型金矿讨论会,于1989年5月9—12日在日本筑波市举行。亚太地区的16国代表参加了会议,分别就亚大地区的黄全地质勘查、开发工作的现状及前景,各国黄金工作开展情况和浅成热液型金矿代表矿床地质特征进行了交流。会后于5月13～18日前往九州进行野外考察,并现场讨论了菱刈、岩户金矿的找矿标志、成因和勘查方法。

THE FIRST WORKSHOP ON EPITHERMAL GOLD MINERALIZATION SPONSORED BY THE UNITED NATIONS ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL COMMISSION FOR ASIA AND THE PACIFIC (ESCAP)

The first workshop on epithermal gold mineralization sponsored by ESCAP was held in Tsukuba, Japan, from 9 May to 12 May this year. The representatives from sixteen countries of Asia and the Pacific region took part in this workshop. They respectively outlined the current state and prospect of gold exploitation and exploration in this area, gave talks on the development of gold mining in their countries, and showed some case studies of epithermal gold mineralization in various districts. From 13 May to 18 May the participants joined a field trip to four gold mines, such as well-known Hishikari and Kasuga deposits in Kyushu Island. During the excursion, the attendants discussed the indicators of exploration, the genesis and the proper methods of exploration for these gold deposits.
