Data-acquisition system in automatic weather station

The automatic weather observation system is widely applied to the meteorological offices and the data acquisition component is the critical unit in the system. The data acquisition component is greatly modified which is better than the conventional ones in the low power consumption, multi-function, multi-channel, programmable control and so on. The sensor interface and signal converting units include variable constant-voltage and current source implemented by the DAC chip, front-end protection with Zener diode, channel control and signal selection with multiplex, isolating circuit with precise linearity optical coupler, gain control with DAC and instrument amplifier. The result shows that the design of the data acquisition circuit works normally.
