| Abstract: | Based on the observations of the summer of 1986 and the winter of 1987, as well as the meteriats and data of the local weather gathered by the suburban meteorological stations, the author analysed the distinguishing features of the urban heat island in Chengdu, the intensity of heat island which varies accordingly with time, and the relevance of the urban greenbelt effect on the urban climate. |
