| 摘 要： | 地图符号化是当前数字地图研究的重要内容之一。着重论述了Web环境下地图符号的构成特征、地图符号的组织及符号配置,以及符号库的基本传输方法,最后给出具体实例,说明了该实践的有效性与可行性。

| Abstract: | Map symbolization is one of the most important issues in digital mapping. In this paper, the author mainly discusses the basic characteristics and structure of map symbol, symbolization of map, then describes the communication of the cartographic symbol library across the web, and finally gives the implementation in a case study, which shows the method is feasible and effective. |
