地理信息系统时空数据模型分类

时空数据模型是地理信息系统领域的重要研究方向之一,许多研究者提出了各种各样的时空数据模型,但关于这许多模型的分类整理问题却很少探讨。本文对数据模型的概念、时空数据模型的抽象层次进行了讨论。根据表达离散变化和连续变化的需要,提出时空概念模型的4种划分:对象事件模型,对象过程模型,场事件模型,场过程模型。以数据模型不同的抽象层次为主线,对时空数据模型进行了分类,并对不同层次的时空数据模型进行了分析。

Classification of spatiotemporal data model in GIS

Spatiotemporal data model(STDM) is considered very important in the development of GIS.Many researchers proposed a large number of STDM,but ignored classification of STDM.This paper discussed the concept of data model and the hierarchies of spatiotemporal data model.On the basis of in-depth understanding of space-time concepts and change types,this paper pointed out that the spatiotemporal conceptual model could be divided into four sorts,which are object-event model,object-process model,field-event model and field-process model.This paper classed spatiotemporal data model according to division of three hierarchies,and discussed the shortcomings existed in the spatiotemporal data model.This work put forward a classification scheme for STDM,and would be regarded as a reference for consequent modeling.
