摘    要:地理信息是现实世界的抽象,具有分布式、数据量大、格式多样以及商品性和共享性等特点,随着地理数据的内容和种类的增加,共享的需求和难度也日益显现。本文总结了当前实现地理信息共享和互操作的途径和方法,即数据格式转换与直接访问、地理数据互操作、基于GML的共享、网格与数据网格、地球科学标记语言以及符号多接口显示技术。最后提出地理信息共享与互操作框架,其中数据网格是基础和保障,互操作规范是核心和关键,符号多接口显示技术和地球科学标记语言等其他共享和互操作技术是必要补充。

Abstract:Geographic information is the material which is abstracted from real world. It possesses many characteristics, such as distributed, considerable, multiformatted, merchantable and sharable. With the increase of content and variety of geographic information, the requirement and difficulty of sharing are more and more obvious too. The paper summarizes current approaches and methods used in the sharing and interoperation of geographic information, which are data format translation and read directly, geographic data interoperation, sharing based on GML, grid and data grid, the Earth Science Markup Language (ESML), Multiinterface Symbol Display Technology (MSDT). In conclusion, the paper puts forward the framework of geographic information sharing and interoperation, in which data grid is the base and guarantee, interoperation specification is the core and key, MSDT or ESML and other sharing and interoperation technologies are necessary complementarities.
