摘    要:本文应用GIS技术建立了热带气旋路径检索分析系统。我们首先以ESRI的Shape模型为基础设计了热带气旋路径的空间数据模型,并建立了热带气旋的空间数据库,从而实现了热带气旋的空间查询工具,提高了系统的检索效率;其次提出了热带气旋路径空间相似的概念,定义了可测度历史路径和实时路径相似程度(相似系数)的面积指数方法,并最终实现了基于空间相似性测度的相似路径检索工具。

Abstract:Applying Geographical Information System(GIS)in meteorology and climatology is a new trend since the latter 1990's.In this article,the authors construct a GIS-based Tropical Cyclone(TC)Path Query and Analysis System.In order to improve the query efficiency,a spatial data model of TC track,which based on ESRI's Shape data format,is designed.In this model,the TC database is established and a set of spatial query tools is implemented.For the purposes of providing more valuable reference TC track for meteorological professionals in TC forecast,the authors also propose a new concept of spatial similarity of tropical cyclone tracks,which extend the geographical similarity used in meteorology.With the concept of spatial similarity which defined by similarity coefficient,they define the similarity of historic TC track to the interest TC track,or the TC occurred in sea surface currently.Finally,the similar track query and analysis tools is designed and integrated in the system.
