省域城市竞争力研究--以甘肃省为例

在分析城市竞争力研究现状的基础上,介绍了城市竞争力研究的理论基础,认为省域城市竞争力的研究,必须从特定省区的具体情况出发,以比较优势理论和竞争优势理论为指导,构建既能体现城市的社会经济发展水平、未来发展潜力,又能反映城市参与竞争的能力和对整个区域发展的带动和促进作用的指标体系,并采用定量和定性相结合的方法进行研究。文章以甘肃省的14个城市为例,计算得出了各城市的竞争力得分和排名,并把14个城市分为5种类型,指明了各类型城市的相对优劣势和今后的发展方向。

Study on Urban Competitiveness in a Certain Province --A Case Study of Gansu Province

This paper introduced the theoretic groundwork of urban competitiveness, and then brought forward that the study of urban competitiveness in a certain province should be started from the background of the province, and should be set up an index system to evaluate urban competitiveness under the direction of the comparative advantage theory and competitive advantage theory. The social and economics development level, developing potential, compete ability and influence to the whole region should also be reflected from the index system. Finally, we should give some qualitative analysis along with quantitative evaluating. At the end of the paper, we analyzed the 14 cities' competitiveness of Gansu Province, and designated the superiority, the inferiority and the main direction of each city according to its urban competitiveness.
