国民经济战略性结构调整的区域响应

文章叙述了1997年以来中央政府实施国民经济战略性结构调整的背景及取得的一系列重要成就。在全国性结构调整过程中,各地区根据自己的特点和优势,调整了产业发展的方向,基本上找到了自己的正确位置,通过结构调整,各地区经济实力的差距和地带性发展不平衡进一步扩大,高新技术产业的区域集聚和新的创新空间开始出现,基础原材料工业布局进一步向沿海地区集聚,能源工业特别是电力工业向西部地区转移,基础设施建设和城市化和城市发展也呈现出新的格局。

The Regional Respond of the Strategical Structure Adjustment of the National Economy

This paper reviews the background and achievements of the strategic adjustment of economic structure executed by the Central Government of China since 1997. In the process of adjustment, local governments adjust the orientation of their industries according to the regional characteristics and advantages. Meanwhile, with the development of this adjustment, there are some new features emerged in China. First, the economical gap among different regions and the disparity of three " belts" have been further enlarged. Second, high-tech industries tend to converge to some specific location and new innovational spaces start to appear. Third, raw materials industry further agglomerate to the coastal regions, while energy industry, especially power industry, is further located to the Western China. Finally, new patterns of infrastructure construction and urbanization also occur in China.
