岭南舜文化地理与旅游开发

岭南地区有多处相传是舜涉足过的地方，流传着有关舜的传说，有的地方还有舜的纪念建筑、纪念活动和碑刻，它们构成了岭南的舜文化。这些“舜迹”和相关传说，在空间上呈现明显的规律性，即分布在五岭古通道及与古通道相连接的通航河道附近。古老的传说常常给我们传递某些历史信息，这些“舜迹”的线状分布，展示了古交通线的走向，在地理上具有合理性。舜南巡的传说，在一定程度上反映了四五千年前中原与岭南人文交流的史实。弘扬和传播岭南舜文化，在今天有其现实意义，岭南的“舜迹”和传说，还有旅游开发价值。

GEOGRAPHY OF THE LEGENDS OF MONARCH SHUN IN SOUTH CHINA AND TOURISM DEVELOPMENT

Monarch Shun is one of the earliest ancestors of the Chinese nation. Historians consider he was the head of the union of primitive tribes in northern China more than four thousand years ago. It is said that at his old age he traveled to the south and died during his trip, and was buried in the Jiuyi Mountains. At present, there are many places in South China where stories about Monarch Shun circulate. Those places are distributed along the five famous ancient communication lines, which pass through the Five Ridges. So the legends about Shun's trip to the south might be a reflex of the early cultural and economic exchanges between northern and southern China. Promote and develop Shun Culture would be of significance to strengthening the cohesive force and the recognition consciousness of the Chinese nation, expanding the opening to the outside world and developing the economy. Those places with Shun's legends are also famous for their scenic beauty, and they can be developed for tourism.
